Jun 27, 2019Jeani was a wonderfull host. She has a very nice flat in the centre of manhattan. Central park, columbus circle, times square, 5th avenue, broadway were at a walking distance. Jeani is very nice and she provided me with a lot of information about new york. It was a wonderfull stay in new york.

She was available whenever there was something I needed and she even took out time to take me exploring in the city! I would definitely recommend others to stay here and if I have no place to stay again, I will certainly stay with Jeani. She is so knowledgeable about NYC and will do anything to help you if there is anything you need. She was warm, welcoming, and friendly and was a great pleasure to person to hangout with and converse with. She started as my host, but has become a friend I hope to stay in touch with frequently.

Very affordable place in a great location, within walking distance of all the touristy spots. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Jun 27, 2019Jeani's cozy home was a special experience for me! I have to say that i missed my flight and stayed at her home more than expected. But it was a presant for me! Jeani saved me and we had a tour to soho, a dinner at wonderful mexican restaurant and a great conversation together! We became friends and i want to stay at her home whenever i go to nyc alone. Thx jeani!!

Jun 27, 2019Jeani was great! I felt so welcome. She was so friendly, made breakfast for me, showed we around in town, and helped me with a lot of questions. We had some good talks, I could come and go as I wanted. Jeani is very friendly, easy to talk with and she invited me to a big halloween party. Although there was a big age different, we came along as good friends. It was so problem sleeping in the same room, there was nice and clean everywhere. Jun 27, 2019It was a pleasure meeting and staying with Jeani at her apartment in Manhattan! It was conveniently located two blocks from where my conference was being held. Jeani made me feel right at home and keeps her place very neat and tidy. She has been living there for nearly twenty years and is very knowledgeable about the city and recommending the best restaurants. I am grateful to now have her as a friend and would highly recommend staying with her while visiting the city!!
Jun 27, 2019I would highly recommend Jeani's as a place to stay! The location is great and Times Square is within walking distance. Her apartement is very cute and you feel welcome from the minute you step inside. Jeani is a great host, who is very friendly and nice to talk to. She is genuinely nice and helpful and on my first day in the city, she took me for a walk in the neighborhood. Sharing the room is not a problem, and you would not find a better place to stay in central Manhattan. Especially not for this price!

The house is small like in the description but really comfortable and really nice! The neighboard is amazing, for me the perfect position to live in NEW YORK moving around the city. It's a safe zone with the subway close and all do you can need around it! My experience in New York become better for Jeani and her house!

She told me how to get the destination, nice shops in NYC. One day, She serve me breakfast! Always I can drink tea at the dining space. Her apt. area is very safe and very convenient(nearest station is Columbus Circle) to go to everywhere. I definitely recommend her apt. if you plan to go to NYC. Jun 27, 2019I highly enjoyed my stay with Jeani. She is so nice, caring, down to earth, I love her positive, bubbly personality. I felt very comfortable there, she made sure I had enough blankets and that my stay was the best it could be and it was. The location is just perfect walking distance to eat and places to go to. Jeani helped me in every way, she knows the city extremely well. I loved the apartments that if I moved there I would consider her apartment complex, just a very safe area with lots to do. Her apartment was very clean and nice. The bed I slept in was so comfortable I slept better in that bed then my own at home. I would only pick Jeani to stay with next time I go to New York City. I didn't want to leave. Jeani welcomed me like I was a family member or a best friend, and I am so honored she welcomed me with such a warm, caring heart. Jun 27, 2019I arrived in the afternoon and Jeani was there to meet me even though I was several hours early. This was very nice. Her place was cute and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and cozy and I looked forward to going to bed. I went for work and so the area was nice and I walked to and from the UN each day (30 Minutes). The area has great restaurants and just a 30 minute walk to downtown. It is a great location and will be happy to stay there again if she would have me.

Jun 27, 2019I had a lovely time staying with Jeani last week. Her studio is exactly as she described, small but comfortable. It was very clean which is always to my liking. Jeani is a sweetheart. I felt very comfortable sharing her space. She has lived in New York for a long time and is helpful with advice and recommendations. Her apartment is in a nice busy part of Manhattan. Only 2 long blocks to a major subway hub (Columbus Circle) which was great. The apartment is walking distance to the Theater District, Times Square, Central Park, and more depending on you walking capabilities. All around very good airbnb experience.

Jun 27, 2019Jeani was above and beyond accommodating, I arrived at 2am and she was there waiting for me with a bottle of water! She even let me keep my luggage there as I had a late flight.She always made sure I was fine and I had everything I needed, she helped me to get everywhere I had to. The location is great close to absolutely everything, only late at night I was a bit scared and would get a taxi from the closest subway station and would only cost me about $5. I would definitely stay there again if I'm in NY! She became a close friend to me... Jeani you are amazing!! Thank you for everything :)

Jun 27, 2019I had a great trip to NYC although I traveled alone. Jeani is a great host. Her place is very clean. The location is super convenient to walk to Broadway, Central Park, Natural history museum, Time square, and even Shake Shack. It's very close to subway stations too. I walked to so many places from her home and enjoyed my walking tour. Jeani is very friendly and helpful. She is familiar with NY and gave me a lot of good advices in touring the city. I feel lucky to choose to stay with Jeani. It is much better than staying in a hotel. My experience with Jeani is great and will certainly go back and stay in her place again.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Jeani's clean, cute, cozy, and comfortable home for one night. I arrived at her apartment at 1am and went to bed at 2am. I expected to arrive earlier but she waited patiently. Although exhausted, I enjoyed chatting with her that hour and getting to know her - she is a wonderful person! I had to wake up before 8am the next day to attend a wedding and she allowed me to leave my backpack in her apartment and check out later. The night before, I mentioned the wedding is outdoors and she kindly offered her bug spray - she is so thoughtful. After checking out, I stayed in the city for 2 more nights, and we still kept in touch. Since Jeani lived in NYC for a very long time, she was extremely helpful when I texted her specific questions during the rest of my trip. If I am in need of a place to stay in Midtown again, I'd definitely consider booking her.

It bottle of water, which was handy to have she I wake up and at night when I wake up from sleeping. She showed me the necessary things to know around her studio apartment. How to handle the lever to the shower, how to lock and unlock her door and to come in and out of her building. She gave me a set of keys which was convenient for me to come and go. She is also very helpful with subway info as well as current shows at the met.

Her place is nice and cozy, close to everything so that's a plus. I think my favorite part was seeing all her healing stones she had, it's nice when you find people with those similarities. I definitely want to come back and stay with her she's great!
Jun 27, 2019I was Jeani Filippinis guest for 12 days, and I loved it! Jeani is a wonderful person. To stay with her is just as comfortable as enjoyable. She really cares for her guests. She is very helpful and makes good suggestions, where to go in the city. Sharing a room with her is relaxed and uncomplicated. Her apartment is small but quit nice and centrally located, so it is easy to explore Manhattan on foot.

She's been living in N.Y.C. for a long time so she knows the city from top to bottom. Aside from having a nice appartment at a convenient location, what comes to my mind when I think about my trip was that I met a wonderful woman! I hope I can stay in touch with her, and I wouldn't even look at other lodging options if I went back to N.Y. I highly recommend.

She offered to walk me around the area on my first night, which was lovely and really helpful. The location is fantastic, very close to Central Park in one direction and Times Square in another with subway stations nearby too. Overall, I had a wonderful time staying with Jeani and would fully reccomend it to anyone travelling to New York.

Her place, the neighbourhood , and all the descriptions she had mede me before going matched perfectly with my expectations. I very much reccommend Jeani for her kindness and hospitality and also for the neighbourhood in where she lives. All interest places are very near and it is very easy to get anywhere. I will be back to New York in a short time and I will be renting Jeani's place again withour any doubt. In summary : I was very sastisfied and I had a very good time.

Jun 27, 2019It was a pleasure to stay in Jeani's apartment! Regarding the apartment and location - The studio space has been nicely divided by a cupboard and screen to give some privacy to the sleeping space and Jeani gave me space to put my things. The outside traffic noise is quite loud but hey, it's Manhattan, what else would you expect!? The apartment is about a 10-15 minute walk to the closest subway station, right next to Central Park, and I walked alone there myself both day and night and felt safe. Actually, the first day Jeani walked there with me to show me the way which was lovely. Regarding the host - Jeani was very hospitable. She was very friendly and welcoming, and gave me plenty of tips for getting around the city and things to do and see. We had some lovely conversations and I really enjoyed my time staying her. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jeani!
Jun 27, 2019This was my first time to New York as a solo traveller and Jeanie made me feel very welcome and at ease in a new city. She is not only a great host, but she is now also a good friend too. Her knowledge of the city is extensive and she is more than happy to hand out tips you might not get in your typical guide. Like many New York apartments her place is cosy; but it is also very central, clean and tidy and i would be more than happy to stay with her again. Overall a wonderful experience. The apartment is centrally located and it's easy to get almost anywhere. Walking distance to Times Square and Central Park and close to various subway lines. Overall had a great time getting to know Jeani and staying there in NYC. Would stay again on a next visit.

Jun 27, 2019Jeani is a great host! My flight got delayed and I arrived her house at 11pm, but she waited me patiently. She welcomed me with a warm smile and she even prepared a big bottle of water and tower for me! She gave me tips on how to travel to my conference. I also have my own shelf to put my stuff. She's also really understanding with my time. She never complains even though I have to wake up at 6am in the morning or sleep late at night to do my research. SHE'S SUPER AWESOME!!! Will definitely recommend my friends to stay at her place. The location is really convenient too. There are Chinese and Indian restaurants just beside the apartment!

Save more time on sightseeing in stead of in metro.

Jeani showed me all necessary places around her place and shared advices where to go. Location of her apartment is excellent! Everything is so close to her. She will talk to you if you are in the mood or leave you alone if you don't keep talking. She's full of information about the city as well as holistic health. I learned a lot from her from one day! :) Very easygoing, I went in and out as I needed with a set of keys. The location was great, 15 min walk to central park! I was so happy I got to enjoy so much of central park. And accessible to all the diff Metro lines. I really enjoyed getting to know Jeani and staying with her.

I had some long days in NYC and she wasn't bothered at all that I was getting ready at 6am in the morning or that I wasn't coming in until midnight when she was already in bed. Jun 27, 2019What is there not to like about Jeani and her accommodation?! It felt like I was visiting a friend - from the very beginning she was very responsive, caring and helpful. As soon as I walked through that door she was so welcoming and kind, always eager to tell/show you great spots around NYC that no tourist would ever find. I felt like I made a great friend - we went out for drinks, to the North of Manhattan up to the Cloisters and even went out for dinner on my first night there. Her home is very big for a NYC apartment - plus a shower, an awesome bed and a LIFT that is a slice of heaven. The location is incredible - only 2 avenues from the subway (Columbus Circle), Central Park and a glorious Whole Foods. If you don't book here, you will definitely miss a gem in both accommodation and friend. See you soon Jeani!!

Jun 27, 2019Jeani is just a wonderful hostess. As others have mentioned she meets you and makes you feel welcome. She provides you with a large bottle of water when you arrive, shows you around, and makes you feel like a very special person. Her apartment is charming and comfortable. Despite the fact that it is shared space, there is a screen that provides privacy. I was comfortable and slept well. The elevator and the amenities (air conditioning, clean and spacious bathroom, use of kitchen area, storage,, comfortable bed) make it convenient and easy. Additionally, the location is great - easy to get to Times Square, Central Park, the subway, etc. I used Uber and the mid-town location saved me in transportation costs. Jeani is very pleasant and connecting with her is easy. I will choose Jeani's on my next visit to the City.
Jun 27, 2019Jeani ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Ich kam erst gegen 1 Uhr nachts bei ihr an und wurde trotz der späten Zeit sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Appartement liegt sehr günstig fußläufig zum Central Park, Lincoln Center uvm und mit guter Metro-Anbindung. Obwohl man sich das Studio teilt hat man einen privaten Bereich. Außerdem kann man die Küche mitbenutzen. Das Bad ist geräumig. Nach 10 Tagen Aufenthalt bei Jeani war es ein Abschied von einer Freundin. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert, auch in Bezug auf das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Thanks Jeani!!

She invited me to join her for breakfast, gave me great suggestions to explore NYC, and lent me her umbrella.She kindly let me leave my bag in her apt even after the time I should have checked out. I genuinely appreciate this experience staying with her. The apartment has more than 60 years history.The building looks old, but the interior is lovely and vintage. The air conditioner can get a little loud at night but is fine once you turn the temp up. The guest space has a twin size bed, a wardrobe where I put bags and clothes on, and a screen that gives privacy. It is not luxurious, but provides all I needed as a traveler. The streets around are well lit. It's a 10-min walk to the nearest subway stop, and then takes about 15-20 mins to get to Columbia U by subway and about the same to downtown. Thanks Jeanni! Will stay again!

Her apartment matches the listing, is perfectly clean, comfortable and has a great location. I enjoyed chatting to Jeani and it felt more like staying with a friend than a host. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. The apartment is small, rather clean, and well organized. I would recommend this location if you plan on exploring a lot of the city and need a place to shower and rest for the night. Jeani can also provide you with recommendations on places to eat, sights to see, and directions on how to get there.

There's also an amazing natural food market called "Westerly" right around the corner which was a little highlight for me as a vegan! Not to mention Whole Foods at Columbus Circle. The bed was comfy and I was supplied with an umbrella and all the insider tips I needed. And the location of the apartment is perfect. It's only two blocks from Central Park and a 15 min walk from Times Square. You have several subways around, so you'll be able to explore New York just perfectly.
Jun 27, 2019Staying with Jeannie was a super plus to my NYC weekend experience! Her studio apartment is just what you need for a NYC getaway. It's cozy, very surprisingly quiet and comfy. The bed arrangement with space for all your stuff is perfect. The bathroom is spacious and everything is ultra clean. The studio is perfectly located, so close to everything!!!! I went walking to almost everywhere. Two blocks from the central park and columbus circle. I used to walk to the central park and then grab a citibike. It was perfect!!! Jeannie was much more than a super host!!!! She is very kind, makes great suggestions and is an amazing person to talk to. She is very respectful of personal spaces and very accesible at the same time. She makes you feel like home. Definetly would stay with Jeannie again!!! Book it now!!!
Jun 27, 2019I couldn't have met a more accommodating host in NYC! Staying with Jeani is how I've imagined all superb Airbnb experiences to be. Upon arrival, Jeani greeted me like an old friend and showed me how to work everything. I immediately felt like I was at home. Her apartment is cozy and I appreciated all the decorations she's added to personalize her space. The apartment is one of the most convenient locations in Manhattan. It's an easy jog over in Central Park and the subway at Columbus Circle (2 blocks away). There's also a downstairs pizza shop if you want a quick bite. The neighborhood is very safe and central to everything you need at all times. Highly recommended if you are visiting for vacation or business! Note that though the room is shared, it's very big and there's a divider. Overall, Jeani's place was really exactly what I needed for a short solo trip in NY :) It was a special plus that Jeani was such a nice and sweet host!

Jun 27, 2019Ik heb een erg fijn verblijf gehad bij Jeani. Het appartement ligt erg gunstig. Een paar minuten lopen van Central Park, op loopafstand van Time Square en de metro. Er is een lift aanwezig. Jeani is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Ze geeft tips over restaurants, plekken om te zien en hoe je er het beste naartoe kunt gaan. We zijn ook een avond samen de stad in gegaan. Ik kan dit appartement erg aanbevelen. Het appartement is niet groot wn je deelt je kamer met Jeani. Het bed en de douche zijn prima!

For e.g., she recommended the best mode of transport when travelling between LaGuardia and NYC. During my stay, Jeani provided great recommendations on restaurants, things to do, and tips on how to get around etc. I would recommend this host to anyone that is looking for a good location and a warm and welcoming host in the city that never sleeps.

She also took time to show me around which I was very grateful for since I was not familiar with the city. I don't know what I would of done without her because Jeani was so incredibly helpful giving me tips on how to navigate the city and where I should visit. She even gave me a huge bottle of water which I took everywhere walking around New York. So thankful for that water bottle! I definitely would recommend her place if you are visiting, especially if you're not familiar with this area. :)

She took me under her wing there in the big, scary (for this Atlantan) Big Apple, and turned my visit there into a cozy, homey, few days filled with good conversation, plenty of food, and, surprisingly, lots of R&R. As a hotel employee, I had options available to me at employee rates at several NYC properties. I booked there initially, to stay while I attended a much looked-forward-to event. I then decided, just for exploring options, to peruse what offerings were available on Airbnb. That's when I found Jeani's place. Turned out, her place was literally across the street from my event's venue. Delightful experience. So glad my decisions led me to Jeani's door. Now back in Atlanta, I show everyone I can pictures of my time at Jeani's. If I ever go back to NYC, you can know I'll be calling upon Jeani again.

Very friendly and welcoming, willing to give you all sorts of tips about NY, but also in the background to let you do your own thing (you sleep in the same room with her, but she created sort of a wall, and just let me have my own planning of the day, without interfering). Jun 27, 2019Jeani is a lovely and generous host. She respects your privacy but is also nice to chat with and always happy to provide advice or a friendly conversation. She has created a divider that allows you to have your own space. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is great. My favorite thing about this place was my ability to walk anywhere I was interested in going. It's right next to the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Columbus Circle, numerous places to eat, and it was a 20-25 minute walk to the theatres. It's also near a subway station and if you're going through Newark International Airport, it's a super easy trip using the subway and NJ Transit. I know that I wanted to incentivize myself to go out and explore the city and this place was the perfect spot to change, sleep, and shower, so I could prepare for the next event. I would definitely stay with Jeani again. Truly a great experience.

Jun 27, 2019Jeani was really helpful from the moment I booked her. She accompanied me to AT&T when I needed a data SIM. She was also kind enough to keep my luggage in her apartment until late afternoon. The closest subway station from her apartment is just 15 minutes walk away (59th St - Columbus Circle). The minor issue I had during my stay was that the lock on her bathroom is broken. Consequently, there was a couple of times when she walked in on me. Other than that, I would totally recommend Jeani to fellow travelers.

Jun 27, 2019Jeani is an excellent host and her studio apartment is perfect for a solo traveller. The location is central and going to uptown or downtown is pretty easy from here. Central Park is at walking distance and so is Hudson River. Public commute is also easily accessible. Jeani is a sweet person and her apartment is very artistically decorated. She is very kind to offer breakfast and any help required. Though you don't have a separate room, she has placed a good divider in the room to get privacy. The apartment is also safe. If you are travelling solo, then this is the place you must stay on visit to NYC.

Jun 27, 2019Ich war sehr gerne bei Jeani! Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass es ein Ein-Zimmer-Appartment ist und man daher im gleichen Raum schläft. Jeani lässt einem aber Privatsphäre und hat das Zimmer durch einen Raumteiler geschickt getrennt. Die Klimaanlagen bläst direkt auf das Bett, aber es war überhaupt kein Problem für Jeani diese auszuschalten. Jeani selbst ist super nett und aufgeschlossen und sehr interessiert daran, die Leute kennen zulernen. Zum Abschied hab ich sogar Schokolade von ihr bekommen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen bei Jeani zu übernachten!

Not only are you close to Central Park, Times Square, great shopping, museums, parks, restaurants, and other exciting things about NYC, you have the benefit of a safe and comfortable place to stay. Jeani is a delightful and warm person with an interesting studio apartment that invites you to look at her artwork, collections,, and furniture. She is a caring hostess who pays attention to your needs and make you feel valued. This was my second stay with her; I'm sure I will be back again.

Jun 27, 2019First of all please note that I could spend the whole day writing on how nice jeani is. It was a pleasure sharing the 1 room apt. with her, she is very caring and thoughtful and ready to help you getting around the city. The place too is very nice, on a big busy street, that means you could easily walk around also late at night feeling safe (it may be a bit noisy though), very close to a bus station that brings you to the subway but you can also easily get to the subway (local & express) in 10-15 min walk. Time Sq is 20ish mins by walk or 1-2 stops with the subway and Central Park just 10 mins walk and everything is well connected with the subway. I would definitely recommend it for its handy and safe position and for Jeani.

I got a nice breakfast my first morning, tea, I got cream for my sore muscles and nail polish remover and she always asks if you need anything. The location was perfect, lots of restaurants and so much to see and an easy walk to other locations in Manhattan. This was my first shared bnb experience and my introverted self was anxious, but it was an outstanding experience. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The studio is clean and air conditioned and shared and it's a home not a private hotel but as long as you're open to a space that is lived in and accustomed to roommates then you get an awesome location, with an awesome apartment and walking distance to basically anything!! She also made some great recommendations for food and hang outs that were really cool and thoughtful! Will for sure stay with jeani again!!

She was always happy to help me make the most of my stay in the city which she knows very well. Her apartment is in a secure building with a lift. It was a short walk from Central Park and I had no problem walking back from Times Square in the evening. I would be happy to stay there again if I get the chance to visit New York in the future.

Jun 27, 2019お部屋は広くはなくﾜﾝﾙｰﾑですが､真ん中で区切って､ある程度ﾌﾟﾗｲﾊﾞｼｰが保たれるように工夫されています｡ Jeaniさんは事前の問い合わせにはすばやく返信してくださり､滞在中もいろいろｱﾄﾞﾊﾞｲｽもらいました｡ 毎朝､紅茶とﾏﾌｨﾝの朝食もありがたかったです｡ 拙い英語でも､理解しようとしてくれます｡ 場所も便利なところなのですが､通りに面しているため､夜静かでないと寝られない人はいるかもしれません｡ ただし彼女は耳栓も用意してくれます｡ 一人旅やﾆｭｰﾖｰｸに初めての人にはとても良いと思います｡

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Jeani's room for 2 nights. It was amazing! I love the pretty and clean and safe room. Jeannie was a very very kind and nice person. Location was also good. There were many restaurants, cafe, pharmacy and stores around the house. I want to stay again next time I go to NY:)

If you don’t mind close quarters and relative lack of privacy, this is an affordable option in a midtown Manhatten.

Jun 27, 2019Jeanie is so warm and friendly, and chatting with her was nothing but pleasant. I was very comfortable in her space, and her presence when home was unobtrusive. The building and apartment definitely still have that 1930's feel and I loved it. Will definitely consider her for future visits to the area.
Jun 27, 2019The location is amazing. A five minute walk to Central Park and easy to walk to Times Square & subways. I felt totally safe walking back to the apartment on my own at night. Jeannie goes over and above with being helpful. She walked me to the places I needed to find and looked up details of the places I wanted to get to. She is chatty and friendly.
Jun 27, 2019This is Grace, my husband booked this accommodation for me from his account, and i wasn't quite sure what to expect when i arrived. Jean is the warmest and kindest person you could wish for on a trip to a busy, crazy city like NY. My flight came in after midnight, and she so graciously stayed up to welcome me, and to get me all settled. She has such a calm presence and caring personality, you will feel so at home in her space. She is also available to offer assistance and answer questions, and to provide tips for getting around too. She is flexible, considerate and accommodating. I will definitely book her again when i am back in NY. The location is the best! It's so easy to get around from there. It was so perfect for me!

Jun 27, 2019Jeani is such a lovely hostess. Her desire to make your stay safe, comfortable, and as private as possible in her apartment shines through. Her vast knowledge and love of NYC is a beakon to new travelers. She even walked me to the Whole Foods so that I knew exactly where it was, which by the way is just a short jaunt from her home. The location is wonderful, and walkable to so much of what I wanted to do. I can't say enough about the honest, loving soul that Jeani is.

Jun 27, 2019Jeannie's place - and Jeannie herself - are total gems. I felt so totally welcome and comfortable. She is a lovely host, full of great information about New York, but also genuinely kind and personable. I had high expectations based on other guests' reviews, and I was not at all disappointed! Her apartment is superbly located within walking distance from Broadway theaters, Central Park, Lincoln Center, and abundant neighborhood restaurants. The bed is super comfy and she has the studio cleverly set up with plenty of privacy and storage space. Jeannie is a longtime resident of the neighborhood, and her comfort there helped me feel a little bit like *I* lived there, too. If you are lucky enough to book her place, you will have a much more authentic NY experience that you could ever get at a hotel!

Jun 27, 2019Fantastiskt läge nära Columbus Circle/Central Park (5 min), Times Square (12.15 min) etc i ett område som kändes säkert att promenera till även kvällstid. Endast tillgänglig för kvinnlig ensamresande då värden bor där samtidigt, det är ett enda stort rum avgränsat med en bokhylla och en vikvägg så att man har sin sida av rummet. Under min vistelse var dock värden endast där dagtid så jag sov där själv. Värdens bemötande var excellent, snabbt och väldigt hjälpsam.
Jun 27, 2019Jeani is a diamond in the rough of New York City. She is an awesome host and made me feel welcome and safe. She is a great communicator and went out of her way to show me the area. I cut my stay short with Jeani only because I realised I needed my own space and privacy which was difficult in such a small, shared studio and I was staying for a few weeks. The location is just a walk away from Central Park and the subway and some great restaurants and wine bars. I would suggest that Jeani’s place is great for a short stay.

Jun 27, 2019Jeani was a very welcoming and accommodating host. The location is perfect - easy walk to subway stations, plenty of great options for eating and drinking nearby. It was a great choice for a single woman spending most of my time out of the apartment and needing a convenient and affordable place to sleep. For people who are light sleepers, be aware that you should bring earplugs, as it is on a busy and noisy street. Jeani herself is quiet and friendly, making me welcome to come and go as I pleased.

It is a shared one room NYC apartment but Jeannie is respectful of your space and check in was very flexible as I arrived before noon. She thoughtfully provided bottled water upon arrival and could make suggestions for walking routes, coffee shops,etc.

Jun 27, 2019If you're traveling by yourself, like I was and if you're looking for food/travel recommendations around the neighborhood/New York, I will definitely recommend Jeani's place. She is a great host, will interact with you but at the same time, will give you privacy. My check-in was great as she was there to receive me and she communicates, so the check-out was hassle-free. Her apartment is well-kept and clean. I will definitely stay there for my next visit, highly recommend her place!!
