The area has lovely tree lined streets and there is lots of native bird life. Miranda is a suburb in southern Sydney, located 24 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district. You can look up local information on the internet for 'CRONULLA' + 'Royal National Park' to see some of the excellent Tourist Attractions nearby. The 'Sutherland Shire' is one of the cleanest, safest places to live in Sydney. The area is full of trees and therefore native birds. As this is a residential area, it is less cluttered than the city area. Parks and bushland are in close proximity to Miranda, so when you are back from exploring Sydney, you will be able to relax in peace. Miranda also has a huge shopping centre on The Kingsway. There's a smaller shopping centre with a Superbarn supermarket and various grocery shops located in Gymea right near the train station. A bus across the road takes you to Miranda railway station in 5 minutes or you can take a leisurely stroll to either Miranda or Gymea Railway station in about 15-20mins. Both are equal distance from the house. If we are free, we might even offer you a lift! Trains to the city take about 43 mins (at peak times) or about 50 mins (at other times). The trains usually come approx. every 15 mins. If you have a car, there are many lovely places to visit within an hours drive. For example, the Royal National Park is lovely for bush walking, a picnic, row-boat and bike hire (15 mins drive away) Check out 'Guest Resources' for directions from the airport to here.

Private access to the accommodation is via the driveway. When you arrive, I'll give you the key to access the main part of the house (for the bathroom, kitchen etc.).
