You will have the entire apartment to yourself! I can send you keys in advance if there is time, or arrange to have you met with keys upon your arrival, if possible. I ask that keys be left in the apartment upon your departure. Clean towels and linens will be provided. All other house rules (where to dispose of trash during the week, etc.) will be posted inside the apartment.

Jun 27, 2019Carey was great. We had a problem where our flight was delayed because of weather and Carey did her best to accomodate us, which we really appreciated! She was always available by email and phone. The apartment was beautiful. It overlooks the garden, so it's really quiet and comfortable. It's also close to Time Square and easily accessible by subway. Her cat is really friendly and quiet. We'd definitely stay here again the next time we're in New York City!
Jun 27, 2019We were delighted to meet Carey for the first time after exchanging emails with her quite often. We had a great time in the city with what we wanted to do and found the location of the apartment excellent. Carey was very accomodating and helped us get settled and showed us around her apartment. Her apartment is very tiny but was all we really needed (about the same as a hotel). The bed was comfortable, the AC adequate, bathroom and kitchen facilities were just right. The one drawback was lack of comfortable seating and TV which I didn't realize beforehand. There was a radio which was helpful. The apartment was quiet for the most part except the upstairs neighbor was a little noisy. There is a parking garage on the same street that we used and the worker Luis was helpful in giving us a good rate for two days. For those who are pet friendly, Carey's cat was there and she was as sweet as can be. She kept us company and never bothered us. We ate at the 44th SW Restaurant for lunch and had a great Caesar salad and excellent pizza. Another restaurant was Westway Diner on 9th Ave. which was good. In the evening we walked to the pier on 12th Ave. which has a restaurant with outside seating and we enjoyed a drink there. The pier has many seating areas and some grassy areas to relax on. It is a nice quiet space when you want to get away from the noise. Overall we had a great trip, got to go to Times Square, Central Park, Carnegie Deli, Juniors Restaurant, and saw the Naked Cowboy. We did it all by walking too!

Jun 27, 2019This cozy little apartment was exactly what we needed to experience a nice Christmas and New Years holiday in central Manhattan. Carey received us in a very nice way. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was large and comfortable and we loved the bathtub. We felt safe in the neighbourhood and it was very easy to go out to eat or buy food to bring home. We highly recommend this apartment for other couples who wants to experience New York on a reasonable budget. Some friends who was in New York before warned us about insects in apartments, but we did not see any! :-)

This was my first airbnb experience, so I was a little nervous, but everything worked out great. Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to visit New York.

Carey was an excellent host, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process (this was our first time with AirBNB). I would definitely recumbent this apartment to any couples or singles looking to stay in the Hell's Kitchen area!
Jun 27, 2019Great place! great apartment! Carey was lovely! 10 minutes walk from Time Square! Perfect location to visit NYC (by walk to Meatpacking, central park and midtown; by subway from Time Square to downtown, Greenwich, Little Italy etc.) Near Central Park, were you can run on Sunday morning, then enjoy an incredible brunch next to the apartment (44 1/2 restaurant, 10th Avenue). We really recommend this place, perfect for 2 people, cosy and quiet. Carey, thanks again and be sure we will get in touch for our next trip to NYC!
Jun 27, 2019My mother stayed at Cary's place for my wedding weekend. Carey met me before hand to give me keys and show me around the apartment. Carey is very nice, her apartment is clean and quaint. The location is great, since my mother does not like to walk a lot there is a great juice and salad bar market and restaurants, and bars all 1.5 blocks away. My mother said she was very happy there and had everything she needed. I will defiantly recommend this location to future visiting guests since it is close to our apartment. Also Carey made it very easy to "check in" and "check out" Which is a huge plus since I've had to hunt down people sometimes to give them back their keys, which is the last thing you want to do on day of departure. All and all, great little cozy place to stay.
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is just perfect. We stayed for a whole week and really felt home. Careys aparment is just perfectly situated in Hell's Kitchen. You can get to most of the famous spots in NYC within minutes and a whole selection of restaurants, delis and grocery stores are just around the corner. Careys apartment looks exactly like on the pictures. It is very clean and unbelievably quiet, so you will sleep like a baby after a long day of sight-seeing. Carey is a very helpful host. She answered all of my questions within a day. Though she couldn't be there to show us the apartment, she arranged a handover with the keys. It was really easy. I can really recommand the apartment. You will love it. Carey, thanks again for your help. You are a great host.
Jun 27, 2019A perfect location for our first Visit in NYC. Cosy apartment in Hell´s Kitchen, a great location, comfortable, clean and very quiet. Just 3 blocks away from Time Square and 2 from the nearest subway which goes to most areas of the city. There is plenty of places to eat in the neighbourhood, in special 5 Napkin Burger! Communication with Carey was fast, great and she was always very friendly. Would highly recommend this place!
Jun 27, 2019Carey's apartment was the perfect place for our week in New York. Perfect size for the 2 of us and close to everything. It was clean and very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great and the kitchen was perfect for saving a few bucks by eating breakfast and keeping a few beers in the refrigerator. I hope her place is available the next time we visit the city.

Carie was an awesome host answered my text when I had a questions. Totally recommend this cute studio for your stay if u come to NYC ..

Jun 27, 2019My Mother and I stayed in Carey's Studio recently and had a really wonderful time! Carey is so sweet and easy to coordinate with. She made us feel comfortable using Airbnb for the first time :) The place is so charming and homey and was very clean and comfortable. The location could not be any (Website hidden by Airbnb) is very central to everything and the subway is only a few blocks away. It is 2 blocks from Times Square but you do not hear all of the hustle and bustle! You can actually hear the birds chirping in the morning in the courtyard outside the window. It was a very peaceful retreat after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The neighborhood is also wonderful! We felt very safe the whole time. Its located right next to Restaurant & Theater Row :) We frequented 5 Napkin Burger (corner of 9th and 45th) which was delicious and went to a few different diners for breakfast: Galaxy Diner (9th & 46th), Westway Diner (9th & 44th) & our favorite; Theater Row Diner (42nd & Dyer)...all were a great start to the day. I also frequented Smiler Deli & Smoothie on the (9th & 45th)...The smoothies are great and they have lots of other groceries you might need. You also have to try the cookies at 'Schmackary's' (9th & 45th). As for entertainment in the neighborhood we tried out 'Don't Tell Mama' Piano Bar which was really fun (46th Btwn 8th & 9th). All of the bartenders are performers and have amazing voices! Swing 46 was great as well...wonderful Jazz bands and swing dancers :) Overall our trip was amazing and Carey's studio made it that much nicer to recharge for the next day. We will definitely stay with her again! Enjoy~

It's a great location - so close to times square and the subway but also quiet and tucked away so you can get a good sleep. The studio was clean and perfect for two people. Carey made it really easy for us to arrive and leave at the times that worked best for us too. I felt she was really accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Jun 27, 2019Carey's studio was exactly what we expected and hoped for: super central, colourful, nicely furnished and filled with notes, thoughts and books. We were in the heart of NY but we felt at home. If you like what you see in the pictures you will like the flat too ;) Carey was very kind at every round of communications and gave us some extra time to leave on the last day. It was a real pleasure staying there.
Jun 27, 2019Carey was very supportive and handed out the keys personally. The appartment is as described. The bed is very comfortable (which was a pleasure after one week in a students campus lodging area). Bath, kitchen and rooms were very tidy and we felt comfortable all week (we stayed for six nights). It was quite (as quite as NYC can be) and it is possible to sleep with open windows. Only restriction was that there was no space for clothes as cupboards were filled with Careys personal belongings. So it was a bit chaotic with our own stuff. Anyway, it was no big problem. The location is great, around the corner from 9th Ave with all the restaurants and bars and close to Broadway and Central Park. We definitely would come back another time.
Jun 27, 2019Primeira vez que estive em NY e a localização do apartamento nos ajudou muito na locomoção. Muito perto de várias linhas de metro e a 2 ou 3 quadras dos teatros da Broadway e da Times Square. Encontramos diversas opções para comer, desde de fast food a excelentes restaurantes. A Carey responde muito rápido a todas as perguntas e gentilmente aceitou que deixássemos as malas no apartamento de manhã bem cedo. O local é bem pequeno, mas o espaço é suficiente para um casal que só precisa tomar um banho e descansar depois de um dia inteiro andando por NY. As janelas estão viradas para um tipo de quintal e não tivemos problemas com o barulho da rua nem dos vizinhos.

Although it is very small and the house is a bit old, the apartment is absolutely commendable. It was really clean and the communication with Carey was uncomplicated and supporting.
Jun 27, 2019Great little place a few blocks from Times Square. Carey's apartment is tidy, cozy and a perfect place to use as a home base to explore this busy area of Manhattan. The apartment is very much Carey's home, and it is charming. A couple notes: This apartment is on a relatively quiet street but it is a very busy part of the city and you will hear some street noise (which is to be expected). There is a main subway hub a few blocks away, but it can be very busy as a lot of Times Square/Broadway traffic comes through there. Be prepared for crowds at certain parts of the day, or take one of the many plentiful cabs.
Jun 27, 2019Carey's place is just as pictured. It is cute, colorful, cheery and clean. My friend Heather fell in love with the sofa and hogged it for the weekend (the two minutes I got to sit on it, I enjoyed it and understood her feelings of adoration). The bed was comfy as well and Carey provides plenty of pillows !! The sun and the birds greeted us each morning and it is quite quiet. The neighborhood seems fine and the location is really ideal, close to food, Times Square, Broadway theaters, and Central Park. I would stay here again and highly recommend. Carey was available when I needed her and provided her Wi-Fi password on request.

Jun 27, 2019This is a really lovely studio - plenty of space with separate small kitchen, nice bathroom, and a delightful quiet outlook onto the back gardens of neighbouring houses. I loved the decoration as well, lots of personal touches that felt like a home away from home. All that and only a few blocks from Times Square, so could not be more convenient. Everything went smoothly for arrival and departure.
Jun 27, 2019We had a perfect visit to NYC. Carey worked with us via text as we arrived a little later than anticipated thanks to traffic. She met us right away, walked us thru the apartment, left us the keys. All went smoothly. The apartment was in a perfect location for our needs. Everything was clean and comfortable. Her apartment overlooks a quiet courtyard so despite the location in the heart of Hell's Kitchen I was shocked at how quiet it was at night. We even slept with the window open and woke to birds singing, not sirens. There is a parking garage right next door and I would recommend using if you are driving. We will stay here again if the place is available.

She communicated well & we exchanged keys in person. She even answered some questions, gave some directions & had books about the city laid out for me. She was kind & responded when I had a question during my stay. The neighborhood is nice & I felt very safe. I would highly recommend staying at Carey's & plan on doing so in the near future!

The location was actually my favorite part of Carey's place located just far enough from Times Square but yet in walking distance to many of NYC's other attractions. And there are so many good bars and restraunts in the surrounding blocks. If I were making another trip to NYC, I would definitely consider staying at Carey's again.

Place is exactly in the pictures, very roomy and near by all the great restaurants along 9th avenue in Hell's Kitchen. Will definitely recommend staying at her place.

A cozy 2nd floor apt with a elevator if needed had everything from a great bed, fitted kitchen and a spotless bathroom. Carey was super easy to work with and the whole experience was super comfortable and perfect for a weekend getaway. Strongly recommend.

It was exactly as advertised and although I didn't meet Carey, she was in touch by text and was very helpful in making sure I got the keys and had what I needed. The location was great as well, very convenient for getting around and near a lively area in the evenings for dinner/bars, but quite quiet in the apartment at night, which was perfect. I'd definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Able to walk to Central Park, Times Square, the Subway and all of the major tourist attractions. Very cozy and charming. Carey was easy to get ahold of when we had questions! Jun 27, 2019Such a great space! Studio was just the right size for two. Bathroom water pressure so much better than our own in the country. Perfect locale for getting around--shows, museums, times square. We took it all in and slept wonderfully. It is in the Theatre District but once just past 9th the neighborhood is residential, clean and quiet. We hope to be back and stay in the spring. Good communications with owner. Very responsive. Just a joy---so much better than the hotels. Thanks again, C.
Jun 27, 2019Carey's place was just lovely. My sister and I were in NY for a weekend getaway and Carey's studio was perfect for us. It is a small space, but nothing out of the normal for NY, and we didn't spend much time in the actual studio because we were out and about being tourists! The location is perfect. It is about 2-3 blocks from the middle of Times Square and from the subway. Carey was easy to communicate with and always got back to me within the day. The check in and out process was easy, and Carey helped make our stay perfect. The studio has everything you need. If given the opportunity I would definitely stay here again. (And I got hooked on the halal that is offered all over the city! The best truck I found was right around the corner from the studio. Just one block to the right on 45th and 10th).
Jun 27, 2019We stayed for almost two weeks at Carey's apartment and loved it, it's lovely and cozy, in the middle of many restaurants, bars, times square, metro stations and we like that we had the chance to live like locals for a while, Carey was very responsive to our questions and had no trouble at all checking in and out. Would definitely like to stay there again

The space was cozy and perfect for the two of us there for a week. Carey stopped by a few times during our stay but always made sure to let us know when she was coming

Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay at Carey's home. It's in the heart of Manhattan and compared to similar Airbnb's in the area, a great value for money! Carey is a great host. Checking-in and checking-out was super easy, and Carey was easily reachable by text message and phone whenever necessary. Her place is cozy and has everything you might need during your stay, and it was super clean and well kept. The apartment is located in a quiet street, and is a short distance from many restaurants, bars and delis. It's a five minute walk to the closest subway station and eight minutes max to Port Authority Bus Terminal, so it's very easy to get to and from NYC area airports. Although it's not big, it's more spacious then we expected, so there is actually plenty of room for a couple. The bed, by the way, is very comfortable. Although the apartment is located in the heart of Manhattan, it's very quiet, since it looks out to the rear of the building. Overall, our experience was great, and we would definitely come back. We highly recommend Carey's apartment. Thank's a lot, Carey.

Jun 27, 2019If you want to live like a local - this is the perfect place to stay. Amazing location for everything, NYC is so walkable but this place has everything on your doorstep. Carey is warm and welcoming and extremely easy to communicate with and ensure you have everything you need. Her apartment is beautiful. Very stylish and comfortable. It’s really quiet too. No traffic noise, just old building sounds like most places in NYC. Highly recommend staying here.

If you are looking to do central Manhattan / midtown / especially theater stuff this is a great option just off the total frenzy of Times Square, etc. A tremendous value for what you get. Highest possible recommendation.

Jun 27, 2019Excelente ubicación, esta muy cerca de todo y es un lugar tranquilo para descansar. El departamento es idéntico a como se muestra en las fotos, muy acogedor y seguro. Carey te soluciona los inconvenientes de inmediato porque te facilita el número de (Hidden by Airbnb) en caso de que ella no este presente, y las personas de NY se portaron muy amables. Nuestra primera experiencia con Airbnb, estuvo genial. Gracias Carey
