The bedroom is roomy, clean and has a comfortable bed. I'm still working on sprucing up the room and providing better services for my guests, so I endeavor to be as hospitable as possible and am grateful for any feedback. I've recently painted, added a new bed, along with a lounge chair and a TV with YouTube and Netflix access. Guests have access to their own private bedroom, and a shared bathroom and washer/dryer with me and two/three male residents. My aim is to make it private, clean and comfortable. It's also as quiet as you will probably find a New York townhouse. The room is off the already quiet street. You can also sometimes hear footsteps from the upstairs bedroom in the mornings, or a little noise from the other rooms.

The room was large, his location was close to the subway and quick trip into Manhattan. He was devoted to improving the room for future guests. Jun 27, 2019I needed a room on short notice, but Jon was able to immediately accommodate me for the time that I was in Brooklyn. From our first interaction to our last, Jon seemed like a very cool and amicable guy and one of the best hosts I've encountered through Airbnb. The Williamsburg location is the best in the city if you want to experience Brooklyn and Manhattan. The L train which connects to Manhattan is a block away. The room itself had an AC which was a delight. The bed was comfy, the internet was fast, and everything else about the rather large room was great. I'd come back in a second!
Jun 27, 2019Jon was fantastic! From the minute I arrived, he was extremely attentive to my needs. He really made sure I was comfortable and was an all around gregarious and kind person. The room was clean, spacious and close to so many great bars and restaurants. This was a good thing because it was easy come back to rest after being out in the heat. I would highly recommend staying here. Great bang your buck.
Jun 27, 2019Jon and his brother Adam were very friendly and accommodating. Even though my flight was delayed and I was basically without communication, they made sure I got in safely. They were always very eager to help. The apartment is located in Williamsburg, off the L train, which is very well connected to Manhattan and also a great spot for nightlife. The room is very ample so it was ideal for sharing with my friend. Very comfortable bed, which was very good news for me and my friend who suffer from back problems. It also has A/C, which of course, we didn't need at all during the winter, but if you plan to visit NYC during the --(very) hot summer days, you should really consider this, since it's very rare to find in New York.
Jun 27, 2019The room is exactly as described. It is clean, comfortable, cozy and huge for NYC standards. The bed is super comfortable and the best part of the room. The apartment is well located in Williamsburg, so the metro stop is close and it is easy to arrive to Manhattan. Additionally Jon, the host, is awesome and very careful in trying to make their guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. Also, he is very willing to help or advise in anything needed. I believe is the best option for a NYC experience in overall; the price, the place and the host which is very rare or difficult to find especially in the city. I highly recommend to stay here and for sure I will do it again.
Jun 27, 2019Everything about my stay was excellent - location, the room, Jon himself. I arrived late at night while Jon was at work, but he sent me very clear and detailed instructions on how to enter the apartment and my room. The room itself was clean, large and well-furbished, and the apartment is in a great location. I only met Jon briefly, but he was very friendly, as were his roommates. He was very accommodating in letting me keep my luggage at the apartment after check out before my flight later in the day, and was always contactable via text or email. Would love to stay again!
Jun 27, 2019Jon made time to meet me at his workplace to supply the keys and introduced me to his (Hidden by Airbnb) , who were all very welcoming. Jon is a great host! - Welcoming, sociable plus it's a fantastic location with plenty of bars/restaurants nearby. It only took me 20 minutes to get into Central Manhatten for work. I'd say that the listing is pretty spot on to what you get and would definitely recommend.

Jun 27, 2019My 3 nights experience at Jon's place was absolutely comfortable and relaxing. He's done all the things I needed without me asking him. Such a huge room with decent real bed and warm decoration. Obviously it's surrounded by great neighborhood. Plus, it's never stressful to commute anywhere as it's less than 5 min walk away from L train which takes you to Manhattan so easily. I very much enjoyed to take a walk in Williamsburg. I love Brooklyn and it was my first time to visit during winter. I'm such a summer person so I'm glad I still fall in love with BK! Thank you so much, Jon :)

Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay in NYC at Jon's apartment. The room is very comfortable and large, and the apartment is in a handy part of Brooklyn - close to the metro (L train), shops, and close to cool areas like Bedford Avenue. Jon was helpful with directions and easy to get in contact with. Super flexible with our enquiries and requests (he even let us leave a piece of luggage with him as we travelled elsewhere for a few days, despite us not starting our stay at the apartment until we returned). Definitely would love to go back!
Jun 27, 2019I didn't have a chance to meet Jon, but this was a very comfortable room in a great part of Williamsburg, with the subway just a few blocks away, and is around the corner from some wonderful restaurants and shops. The bed was very comfortable, and Jon's housemates were very friendly and accommodating. Also, they have a washer/dryer, which was incredibly convenient! Jon was also very responsive, and was very easy to work with when I asked if I could stay an extra day, which was very appreciated. Would absolutely recommend!
Jun 27, 2019Jon's apartment is in a convenient and quiet Williamsburg location. Super easy access to Manhattan (if the L is running... there's been construction lately). The bedroom itself is clean and comfortable with a good deal of light. Jon was super responsive and easy to reach. Guests should note that the room does not come with a living room or any access to a kitchen. If you just need a bedroom and shared bathroom in Williamsburg, this is a great spot at a fair price.

Jun 27, 2019I have truly enjoyed my stay in Jon's room. The room is cozy, large with a very comfortable bed. So, I would say that in my experience the room perfectly match the description. Moreover, Jon has provided me with everything I needed and he was always very helpful (he promptly replied to all my message). The borough...well it's Williamsburg, so no much to add. In short, a fantastic experience which I truly recommend.
Jun 27, 2019It was a busy weekend and we didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, the people friendly and the location in Williamsburg was very convenient. I would definitely recommend it to other travelers!
Jun 27, 2019Jon's room was the perfect pick! It looks exactly like on the pictures and the location was also very convenient, the L & G train were just around the corner. Even though I did not meet Jon in person, he was super friendly and provided all information around the house beforehand. The house was a bit clairaudient, but that was no a big problem. Biggest plus was the bed - very comfy. If you search for a nice place to stay in Williamsburg I can absolutley recommend Jon's!
Jun 27, 2019I truly enjoyed staying at Jon's room. The room was exactly as described - very spacious with a comfortable bed. Jon is a very friendly host and made time to welcome me and explained everything I needed to know. He was very responsive on (Hidden by Airbnb) when I had questions later as well. He also kindly shared with me a taxi contact to arrange a ride to the airport, which was a lot cheaper than Uber :) The neighborhood is very convenient in terms of public transportation and getting necessary stuff like water. Williamsburg is a pretty neighborhood and I enjoyed just walking around and checking out random shops (that are all hipster and cool!).
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time at Jon's place! The room we stayed in was really nice: big bed, lots of space, desk with a chair, and lots of storage room. We also slept very well - it is very quiet at night. Jon was there to greet us upon arrival and made us feel at home immediately. He even went to Harlem together with my boyfriend to play some basketball! :-) About Williamsburg... it is truly Awesome. You will feel relaxed and safe when you stay there.You have so many cool place to go out for dinner, have brunch (a must-do!!), go for drinks, or just stroll around and discover cool shops and coffee bars. Jon also gave some good recommendations, thanks for that. All in all, we recommend Jon's place for sure! Don't hesitate, just stay there, you won't regret it!! With the subway you are in Manhattan in ten minutes.
Jun 27, 2019Jon's place was centrally located and within a couple blocks of L metro. The room was clean and Jon was great at touching base with us to make sure that we arrived without problem. The bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed. The only thing is that the bathroom ran out of toilet paper at one point, but other than that everything was great!

It is also quiet so perfect for a good night's sleep! The location is close to the L train making it easy to get everywhere in the city. Love the neighborhood- lots of cute restaurants and fun things to do. Highly recommend Jon's spot!

The room is huge with lots of storage space, work space, a very comfortable bed and everything I needed (hair dryer etc all provided) and the location is excellent – seconds from the L into town and very close to Williamsburg's bars & restaurants, but just enough away that it feels like a peaceful escape. Jon was a wonderful host - super attentive and really proactive at checking in and making sure I had everything I needed. Thanks!

Jon did a great job to make sure I could find the place. Check-in and check-out were easy and Jon was easy to get in touch with whenever necessary. Fantastic host!

Jun 27, 2019I had a great experience while staying with Jon and his roommates. Everything from the communication to directions and amenities provided (towels, shampoo, etc.) were great. The room itself is big and bright and the neighborhood is beautiful and safe. His guidebook had good local food recommendations too. For the most part they let me be on my own and didn't bother me. I would stay again.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed 3 nights at Jons place. Jon was very friendly and welcoming. As were his room mates. When we had questions, he answered them directly. Communication was perfect. The room was big and looked like the pictures online. Perfect for 2 persons. We didn't have problems sharing the bathroom, but is a bit small if you want to get ready at the same time. It's a quiet and safe area and you're in walking distance from the cool Williamsburg area. It's also easy to get to Manhattan with the L-train. We would recommand a stay at jons place!

Jun 27, 2019Jon was a fantastic host. He was quick to respond to my last minute request to book and proved to be super responsive throughout the entire experience. He was very thorough in the details he offered about the house and neighborhood. The location is perfectly situated in the heart of Williamsburg with much to do in the surrounding blocks. His apt is a mere 3 minute walk to the L train which was a definite plus. The room was spacious and light-filled and stocked with amenities you'd find at a boutique hotel (Malin + Goetz body wash?!). Wi-fi was fast and he offered the password without prompt on several instances. What really set Jon apart from past experiences, however was his natural ability and eagerness to host that was not overbearing in the least. What's more is that his roommate Edwin, who did not have to bother with me, was just as gracious and hospitable as Jon was. In fact, it was my experience at Jon's that prompted me to move to Brooklyn that same week! Stay here. You won't regret it.
Jul 27, 2019The room is fantastic. It has everything you could ask for as well as being conveniently located near the metro station. Jon provided lots of thoughtful little things (e.g. a universal charger, shampoo, metro card) which just added something to the whole experience. I didn't meet Jon but his communication was clear and everything ran smoothly and his housemates were very friendly and easygoing. I couldn't recommend the place highly enough!

Didn't meet John but communication was quick and easy and he helped me out with lots of questions I had. Would def recommend.

The room is spacious, comfortable, and just as described. The location is perfect in East Williamsburg - a 2 minute walk from the train. Jon was very easy to reach and happy to accommodate my check-in and check-out at off hours. I would enjoy staying here again - very recommended!

Williamsburg is awesome to hangout at night but also very pleasant to live in. I would recommend Jon's place to anyone interested to experience Williamsburg.

Jun 27, 2019Everything was great; the room was very large (for New York) and clean. I appreciated the friendliness of the roommate staying in the other room on the same floor. Location was great (i.e., plenty of nearby coffeeshops and food) and very close to the Lorimer L train stop. I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and convenient place to stay, with easy access to Manhattan. Communication with Jon regarding check-in was smooth. Jon also provided information about transportation, and any other miscellaneous information about the AirBnB far in advance, making the stay a seamless one. Jun 27, 2019This was a great Brooklyn/Williamsburg location. I was visiting my kids. We did go into Manhattan to see a show, but that was not the focuses of my visit. It is easy to get there on the subway. Lots of great restaurants and local bars. Perfect if you are looking for a place to drop your bags and visit others.

He sent me all instructions and everything was precise. - The room is only 8 steps to the front door that suits well for whom is travelling with big bags. It's very cozy, bright, quiet, wide and clean. - The very short walk to the metro Line L (200m) and G (500m) is perfect!!! Thank you, I will be back gladly again.

Jun 27, 2019I usually don't like to AirBnB but I decided I had to do a month long job in NY and figured this would be the best financial option... WOW! I cannot begin to describe how lucky I feel. Jon and his 2 roommates(one includes his brother) were the kindest and most respectable men I have met. They were incredibly welcoming and instantly treated me as one of their close friends. Inviting me in their inner circle and inviting me to come see the city with them. I think its important to note: THIS IS THE LARGEST SPACE IN NY OR BROOKLYN I HAVE EVER SEEN. The room is huge. There is TONS OF SPACE for living and kitchen cooking. And most of all.... THERE IS A GIANT BACKYARD TO GRILL. THE LOCATION: its perfectly nuzzled up near the L train which is a 12min ride into the heart of the city of Manhattan. I don't know how anyone can pass this up. The price, community, and location is almost too good to be true. Plus if you stay there.... ask to try the famous Montoya hot sauce. Game-Changer.
Jun 27, 2019I’m lucky enough to be able to stay in jon’s place at nyc super-peak season (new years). The place itself is really nice. It is strategically located a block away from the L train that will bring you to manhattan in about 10minutes. Maybe williamsburg is already famous as the ‘cool’ area, but the neighborhood itself is really cool, so many local pubs and restaurants a stone’s throw away from jon’s place (i personally liked the brooklyn star). The room is spacious, clean and located in the 1st floor. (My last stay in NY is in a 5th floor apartment with no lift, so jon’s place being in the ground floor is a godsend) Even when i didn’t have the chance to meet jon personally, he kept in touch via text and very helpful (so does his roomates) All in all, the place and the host are great, super recommended.

Primero destacar la ubicación, a menos de 3 cuadras del metro más cercano, además en un barrio tranquilo. El departamento compartido de Jon estaba muy bien, limpio y ordenado. A pesar de no ver mucho a la gente ya que anduve todo el día recorriendo la ciudad, siempre hubo tranquilidad en el lugar y ningún problema para dormir o usar los espacios comunes. Recomiendo totalmente a Jon y su departamento, fue mucho mejor de lo que esperaba!
