A beautiful retreat in an energetic, exciting city, Eduardo and Raimundo were the hosts that dreams are made of. The apartment itself is nestled conveniently between Lapa and Santa Theresa two of the most exciting, interesting and artistic areas of Rio. Our wonderful hosts not only told us about secret gems of places to visit not highlighted by any guidebook, they also left us food from their supper when we got in after dancing til the early hours of the morning. The apartment is safe, spacious and clean with a great view of the city. If you are visiting Rio I insist you stay here.

The apartment has great character and is in a great location - in beautiful Santa Teresa and close to bustling Lapa. We had a wonderful time staying here.
Jun 27, 2019A great stay in a fabulous location. We felt safe staying with Eduardo and Raimundo during a hectic time in the city. They also brought us goodies which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this studio due to its great hosts and location, the Santa Teresa district is really worth a visit!
Jun 27, 2019Eduardo & Raimundo are lovely hosts! After 15 days of Rio, they were our last stop before flyer back to Europe and that was a good choice. We enjoyed staying at their beautiful house in the middle of the fine Santa Teresa area and we felt very much the way they take care about their guests. Our stay was short, just one night, but enough to take nice en happy memories of Rio and the cariocas with us back home.
Jun 27, 2019Eduardo & Raimundo are great host and they helped us in getting in touch with the true Carioca spirit! The apartment is located in a good position between Lapa and Santa Tereza districts and the view from the terrace is spectacular. The flat in itself is ok for a short stay, bright-coloured, simple, located at the lower level of their house. Sufficiently spacious yet not particularly illuminated. Maybe in the spartan bathroom a better shower courtain could help :-)
Jul 27, 2019Our stay was wonderful! The apartment is charming and well equipped, the building is beautiful and this area of Santa Teresa is perfectly located near night life of Lapa and buses to other parts of Rio. Eduardo & Raimundo were perfect hosts and the champagne for New Years was lovely!
Jun 27, 2019Eduardo and Raimundo are very friendly and nice guys. They helped us with everything we needed. Even though it was only one night we enjoyed Santa Teresa. It was only a few blocks above Lapa where we enjoyed a nice dinner. I would have liked to have more time to talk with Eduardo and Raimundo and a tour of their beautiful house. Maybe next time. Thank you guys!
Jun 27, 2019Eduardo & Raimundo are the perfect hosts in every way. Communication, prior to and during our stay was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. They are also very passionate about the local community and it's fantastic culture. They provide us with lots of useful information and recommendations about places to visit based on our discussions with them (we managed to communicate easily despite our limited Portuguese). The apartment has been decorated and furnished in an imaginative way, making very good use of the space available and is very comfortable and light. We felt very much at home immediately. The hosts also added little touches which made us feel very welcome, including some provisions e.g. fresh fruit and drinks. There is also a large external terrace area where you can sit and relax, with great views of Santa Teresa and the surrounding area. The accommodation is located on a quiet street within 5 minutes walk of both the centre of Santa Teresa and Lapa, which both have plentiful bars, restaurants, galleries and other cultural sights that can be explored. Public transport, both bus and metro, is easily accessible in Lapa, as too are taxis. We felt very safe within the area and would recommend the studio as a great base for exploring Rio. If we return to Rio, we would definitely stay at the studio and we will stay in contact with Eduardo & Raimundo, who are exceptionally generous hosts, who we now regard as friends.
Jun 27, 2019Eduardo and Raimundo provided us with the best hospitality we had in the whole 2 weeks of being in Brasil for the world cup! The beds were comfortable and Lapa provided plenty of options for good food and Entertainment. The apartment is close enough to the metro as well as being away from the hustle of Vila. Saudade Brasil! Saudade Cachaca!

Jun 27, 2019Eduardo is very friendly, easy going and always ready to help and give indications and recommendations on how to make the most of the cidade maravilhosa! The apartment is consistent with the pictures and the bohemian style of Santa Teresa. The bathroom and kitchen are quite tight, but Eduardo told us he is planning on making some improvement there. Very well located, I recommend it. Thank you Eduardo e Raimundo até mais!

Le logement conforme aux photos parfait pour notre séjour à Rio, L'accueil avec le petit déjeuner préparé par Raimundo super,on s'est senti chez nous de suite, merci pour ce noêl et ce nouvel an passés avec vous et vos amis, Eduardo nous a aidé à préparer nos visites, bus endroit à visiter où manger ( restaurant gomez super il faut absolument goûter le manioc frit) . Nous avons rencontré des anges. Ce voyage restera inoubliable grâce à Eduardo et Raimundo, ce sont des hôtes exceptionnels. Merci pour tout et vive le Brésil . Dépaysement assuré. Nous y retournerons dés que possible et le logement se sera biensûr chez Eduardo et Raimundo
Jun 27, 2019Wow! This little oasis was beautiful! An adorable little flat located a block from the downtown Lapa scene. Located on a charming little hill, you have to climb some stairs but that will help to work off all the food and drink you will consume in Lapa. Eduardo and Raimundo are so darling! They welcomed us with little snacks of cheese and ham sandwhiches, and in the fridge was cold Brasilian Beer! What a treat. And later, Eduardo brought us some soup. It was so sweet.

Jun 27, 2019Eduardo and Raimundo are wonderful hosts with a terrific home. They were easy to communicate with and provided lots of great recommendations. The house is just a few minutes walk from the heart of Lapa where there are plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as easy access to public transit. The apartment is nicely furnished and decorated and was very clean. Definitely a great choice!

Su apartamento tiene lo esencial para la estancia y un gran espacio para relajarse después de un día agitado. Tuvieron la amabilidad de recibirnos muy temprano con un café y un cálido recibimiento. Nos dieron consejos de lugares de acuerdo a nuestros intereses y gustos. Tuvimos oportunidad de conversar con ellos, lo que nos hizo sentir menos turistas. En el par de días en su casa conocimos la gentileza carioca y bahiana. Para as pessoas que tenham a vontade de visitar Santa Teresa, Lapa e o Centro do Río, devem saber que Eduardo e Raimundo sao formidáveis anfitriões. O seu apartamento tem o essencial para a estancia e um grande espaço para se relazar depois de um dia agitado. elem tiveram a amabilidade de nós recibir muito cedo con café e uma ótima recepção. Jun 27, 2019Eduardo and Raimondo were absolutely fantastic hosts- so kind, friendly and generous. They did everything to make us feel welcome and looked after. The apartment is beautiful and in a great location. We were there for carnival and had the best time - watching the parade from the balcony was a highlight! I would highly recommend the apartment.

My and sister and I felt right at home. The apartment is in a great location and only a short walk to Lapa. I would definitely recommend staying here!
