Neighborhood Overview
Near the apartment there are many supermarkets and food stores that open every day. If you don't want to cook, there is a big variety of restaurants where you will be able to go to have meals or tapas. We specially recommend the Tonka bar-restaurant that it's located just in front of the apartment where during weekends they prepare very recommendable brunches.

Superbe accueil de Pilar, appartement très bien équipé ( lave vaisselle, lave linge, seiche linge, climatisation dans toutes les pièces). Les serviettes de bain et les produits de toilette sont fournis. Il y'a également des boissons, gâteaux en cadeaux de bienvenue. :) L'appartement est également bien situé, pas loin des Ramblas; tous les commerces sont à proximité. L'appartement est très propre, et très fonctionnel. A recommander absolument

It is well located, in the centre and in walking distance from the attractions. Alex, Javi and Pilar are lovely hosts, ready to help and easy to communicate with. We recommend!

Jun 27, 2019We flew in from Ryan air, and took the public bus to Barcalona, then a taxi (only 8euro) to the apartment where Alex was waiting for us. He was friendly, and spoke english well. They had water, beer and chips chilled and waiting for us. A very nice touch after traveling. The apartment was exactly as advertised; one of the better we've stayed at from airbnb. The apartment is about a 20 minute walk to the beach.

Jun 27, 2019Il quartiere non è pericoloso si può girare tranquillamente a piedi di notte xchè ben illuminato e abbastanza frequentato a tutte le ore. é centrale (dista 10 minuti a piedi dalla Rambla) e fornito di trasporto pubblico, supermarket e negozi di ogni genere. Nulla da eccepire in tema di accoglienza, Pilar ci ha atteso anche oltre l'orario che avevamo fissato, ci ha lasciato 2 mazzi di chiavi, è salita con noi e ci ha illustrato dettagliatamente l'appartamento e il funzionamento degli elettrodomestici (c'è di tutto) la cucina è ben fornita di stoviglie e posate per almeno 10 persone. Gli interni e l'arredamento sono nuovi e ben tenuti. Una delle 2 camere con letto matrimoniale è piccola ma se si usa solo per dormire non da noia. I bagni sono senza finestra ma c'è l'aspiratore. L'unico problemino che abbiamo ravvisato è che di sera, con l'aria condizionata accesa oltre a diverse luci, ogni tanto salta la corrente che bisogna sistematicamente riattaccare dal quadro che è dietro la porta d'ingresso. In generale la sistemazione è davvero una buona scelta: lo consiglierei. Fabrizio
Jun 27, 2019Nous avons passé 4 jours dans cet appartement, et le séjour a été très agréable. Nous n'avons pas rencontré les propriétaires directement, mais tout a été fait pour que nous soyons accueillis à l'heure d'arrivée par une amie à eux, des bières nous attendaient dans le frigo, une chaise pour bébé a été mise à notre disposition... L'appartement est grand, spacieux, conforme à la description du site et aux photos. La cuisine est très fonctionnelle, bien équipée. Il y a deux salles de bain, une avec douche et une avec baignoire. il est très bien situé, deux métros à proximité, la plage est à 20 min en bus, le réseau bus est très pratique aussi pour se rendre partout dans Barcelone. Les remblas sont à 20 min à pied; Enfin, la place de parking dans l'immeuble est un véritable plus, pour y aller sa voiture le temps du séjour! Bref, nous recommandons cet appartement, dans lequel nous avons passé un très agréable séjour!

Jun 27, 2019Alex met us at the apartment and let us into the free underground carpark. He kindly showed us around the apartment, including descriptions on how to use appliances, air-con and wi-fi. He also left us a map and advised on nearby supermarkets and metro stations. The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk from 2 different metro lines and was clean and quite expansive. Perfect for a couple or small family. Would stay there again!
Jun 27, 2019La experiencia ha sido muy buena, era la primera vez que usaba airbnb y sin duda volveré a utilizarlo. La casa está muy bien situada cerca de varios metros y del centro en si, de hecho en nuestro caso pudimos llegar a todos los sitios andando. Como pone en el anuncio es un ático muy luminoso. Pilar fue muy amable, y nos indicó como movernos por la zona, aparte de dejarnos en el frigorífico refrescos, cervezas y leche (un básico después de un viaje largo). Recomendaría este apto. sin dudarlo y sobre todo por la ventaja que es tener aparcamiento en el edificio, gracias a eso nos pudimos olvidar del coche.

Produits de premières nécessité mis à disposition (Petit plus très appréciés: boissons fraiches et café Nespresso généreusement offerts!!!!). Hôtes très accueillant et répondant à toutes nos attentes. Nombreux conseils fournis dés notre arrivée pour optimiser la découverte de cette merveille ville! On vous remercie pour les conseils, grâce à vous on à passé un très bon séjour à Barcelone. L'appartement est très très bien équipé et surtout très bien placé! Le parking est un gros plus. Jun 27, 2019El apartamento es muy bonito, está muy bien situado y se puede ir caminando al centro pero también dispone de plaza de garaje gratuita si vas con coche. Los anfitriones encantadores, nos dejaron café, bebidas y algo de comer para la llegada y el piso tenia todos los detalles, todas las cosas necesarias del baño, de la cocina. Un piso para repetir! Jun 27, 2019Our experience dealing with Alex, Javi and Pilar was fantastic. They were waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived. The apartment was exactly as advertised. It was clean, roomy, fully stocked and in a great area. The fridge was filled with beer, soft drinks, champagne, water and milk. They also left cookies and snacks. The espresso machine made great coffee. Alex, Javi and Pilar were very accommodating and checked up on us a few times to be sure everything was OK. If you are looking for an apartment to rent in Barcelona I would definitely recommend this one.

Jun 27, 2019This was excellent experience. Very clean and well equipped apartment (dish washer, washer, drier). Alex and Javi were waiting for us upon arrival and were gracious to give a lift to the airport on their way to work. The building has an elevator(lift). It is located a walking distance to both Espanya and Drassanes Squares. Subway and grocery/produce shops are just around the corner.

My father particularly enjoyed the orange juice and Cokes that you had provided in the fridge. You guided us well so we were able to enjoy the sights of Barcelona with ease. Jun 27, 2019We were welcomed to the building by Pilar who carefully guided us into the reserved parking spot and showed us the apartment. She also gave us a map and circled everywhere we need to see in Barcelona, which was very sweet. They were able to accommodate our schedule regarding checking in and out, and they were also always extremely helpful with any request or issue no matter how inconvenient. The place is exactly as advertised and is in a great location and everything was in walking distance. We had a lot of happy memories there and will try and stay here again whenever the opportunity presents itself. Thank you Alex, Javi & Pilar for a wonderful experience.
Jun 27, 2019Thank you Alex, Javi and Pilar for providing such a well appointed property for us to enjoy for our 4 night stay with our family. We were met outside the apartment and walked down to our carpark which was so handy (finding a carpark in Barcelona is terrible). They had left us some supplies of drinks, milk etc which was very much appreciated and really made us feel welcome. The apartment had everything you could require and more, very much enjoyed the Nepresso coffee too. We plan to come back and stay again when we do the adventure park with our children. Very well located for a good look around Barcelona and the notes left for us were very helpful also. Yes go to Tonka across the road, very yummy food.

Jun 27, 2019Our family stayed 2 nights and the apartment was perfect for us. Pilar met us and gave us lots of good information. We had a car so this apartment was great to park the car in the underground garage and then we walk to everything. The metro is very close to which we did use as well. Very clean and great views. There is nothing lacking at all and this is a perfect place to walk and explore Barcelona. It is great that there were soft drinks and beer waiting for us and also coffee for the morning.

The location und surrounding of the Apartment are both brillant! There is a very nice Restaurant for breakfast nearby ("Federal"). Supermarkets are situated within a 2-Minutes walking distance. When we arrived Pilar was waiting for us and handed out Information-sheets of all we needed to know -> a warm welcome from our very nice and sympatic host! ***absolutely recommendable***
Jun 27, 2019Le logement était vraiment très propre, spacieux et lumineux. Un très bon équipement avec pleins de petits détails. Nous nous sommes vite sentis très bien et détendu. A cela il faut ajouter une situation géographique très bonne avec un accès direct par métro à deux pas du logement pour la Sagrada par exemple et le secteur port/plage à environ 20 min à pied. Autre point positif, un parking privé en sous terrain pour le prix de la location. Un véritable plus vue le prix du stationnement à Barcelone. L'accueil était chaleureux et nous nous sommes vraiment senti attendu. En effet, Pilar nous attendez dans la rue en bas du logement pour rentrer notre véhicule. Elle nous a donné pleins de conseils et de bons plans pour nous mettre au courant de tous ce qu’il y avait à faire à Barcelone. Franchement un grand merci à eux 3 pour leur disponibilité, sérieux et sympathie. Si nous avons la chance de revenir à Barcelone nous savons déjà où loger.

Jun 27, 2019Pilar, Javi and Alex were excellent hosts. Pilar waited for us even thought our flight was late and explained everything we needed to know and more. The apartment is very clean and well situated. The Wifi worked great. There are 3 grocery stores next door and a very nice Tapas Bar called Tonka on the other side of the street, which made is easy for us to choose where to eat when we were tired after sightseeing. If we go back to Barcelona we will call Pilar, Javi and Alex again. Gracias por todo.

Jun 27, 2019Great place, kind hosts! The apartment has a good location, quite close to many sights, and there is great bar called Tonka on the other side of the street. The hosts are absolutely kind, explained a lot about BCN and the place. The fridge was filled with drinks for us. The flat is really nice, the kitchen is well equipped, and wifi works well. We were there 5 together with a little baby and grandparents, and we found the apartment large and comfortable for a family. It's also great that it has a garage, but be careful if you arrive by a large car, because it's quite narrow. The apartement is on the 6th floor, and the elevator was unfortunately out of order for some days, but it was not the hosts' fault, and they helped us with everything, even they gave us refund because of that. Absolutely recommended, we would stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019The hosts were all there when we arrived. Relatively easy to find. 5 mins walk from the nearest Metro station. I would say that the place is spacious,clean and modern. Safe neighbourhood with quite a few eating and drinking place plus a few groceries stores. You cant complain anything about that place. I like to add that the house is stock with drinks, some snacks and also a fully operational kitchen. We cooked up a great dinner there as well. The hosts responded really quick and gave us good tips around Barca. I will be back.

Jun 27, 2019Alex war ein super Gastgeber. Obwohl unser Flug 2 Stunden Verspätung hatte, hat er noch auch uns gewartet und uns alles gezeigt und auch die Taxis organisiert. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen und super Anschluss an die ÖV. Die Einrichtung ist schön und praktisch. Alles in allem kann ich diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

He went out of his way to meet us on our schedule, provided us with all the info we didn't even know we'd need, stocked the apartment with basics at no charge, was available for us when we needed him. the apartment was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. The neighborhood was quiet residential - non-touristy, and close to everything including buses and subways. I'd use their listing again in a flash! They totally made our trip to Barcelona work!

Pilar and Alex helped us throughout the whole stay. They were very flexible about our arrival and departure time and gave us good tips to visit Barcelona. We recommend them :)

There was welcoming atmosthere with fully equipped kitchen, welcoming drinks and snacks and a lot of coffee. Good location, walk distance from most of sighseeings. Although we ran late coming from the airport, someone was outside the apartment waiting for us to arrive. We were welcomed with the air conditioning on (it was a hot day), beer and snacks. The apartment is in the perfect location - very close to the metro and so much much within walking distance.
Jun 27, 2019Pilar waited in front of the apartment on time and welcomed us very friendly. She guided us into the parking building which is very narrow. It wasn’t that easy to get the car inside but it is possible – we recommend it for smaller cars. Pilar brought us upstairs into the apartment, she explained everything important about the rooms, the kitchen and the area. Free beer and Coke were waiting for us in the fridge :) Also Pilar prepared a map for us and explained us the sights of Barcelona. The apartment is comfortable, has a lot of space, WIFI works perfectly. Supermarkets and metro stations are close by – a very central location to live. Thank you for a pleasant stay at this great apartment and the friendly contact!

Jun 27, 2019Staying at this apartment/penthouse made our stay in Barcelona outstanding. It's a place to be when you don't want to be labelled a tourist. A place that you can soak up Barcelona authentically, in an authentic neighbourhood ... but still close to transport so you're in the main city quickly - if you need to do the 'tourist circuit'. Every part of the apartment was excellent, and the host's attention to detail impressed me. Quality fittings, lovely views, sunny aspect, clean and well appointed for cooking meals. We felt 'at home' and comfortable ... and Alex, Javi and Pilar were excellent at communicating with us, and very helpful. I would highly recommend this stay, and it was great because my teenage son had his own bedroom.
Jun 27, 2019Hemos pasado tres días y dos noches en ese piso y, perfecto! El piso estaba más limpio que nuestra casa!!!Jijiji. igualito que en la foto. Pilar fue un amor y, nos facilitaron todo desde el momento que llegamos a Barcelona. Hay de todo lo que se necesite. Sólo tienes que llevar el cepillo de dientes y la pasta. Todo un detalle por parte de los anfitriones el dejarnos agua, leche , café y refrescos para nuestro uso. Repetiremos sin duda!!
Jun 27, 2019Easy to get to the apartment from the metro. Warm welcome from Pilar. She oriented us to the apartment. The apartment was just as described - sunny, clean and welcoming. The neighborhood was perfect - we were about a 10 minute walk to las ramblas, 20 minute walk to the beach, a couple of blocks from 3 metro stations. Poble Sec is a really fun neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a great street to "Tapear" (go from bar to bar for tapas and drinks) called Carrer de Blai. We had an amazing time when we go back to Barcelona we would definitely stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019Best AirBnb experience we've had. The place is big, super clean, modern, well lit, and has a top storey view. Hosts are wonderful and they have put effort into the little things - eg. Beers in the fridge after a long flight, coffee, milk, shampoo, etc. The location is walking distance to most places and next to tube stations for those farther away. If this were a hotel, it would cost 4 times as much. Highly recommend it.
Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed our trip to barcelona and our stay in this apartment. It was a good location nearby Ramblas, Camp Nou and other things you definitely want to see. There are 3 supermarkets in the area, which is convenient. The apartment was clean and neat. The host was very friendly and helped us when that was needed.
Jun 27, 2019I had a great experience in this apartment! Alex was there to greet us when we arrived, and had a selection of maps and neighbourhood information ready for us. The apartment is clean, bright, and has a lovely view. Big enough for myself, my sister and our parents to share comfortably. It's in a nice neighbourhood, just a short walk from Parallel, and about 10 minutes from La Rambla. They had left the kitchen stocked with some light snacks and beer, which made us feel right at home. I would absolutely stay here again.

Jul 27, 2019Nice apartment in San Antoni. Well located and surrounded by several shops/ restaurants. San Antoni itself is very nice with its own cozy atmosphere. Ramblas is pretty close (15 min walk through El Raval). Metro (Parallel and San Antoni) is located at approx. 500 mtrs. The apartment is spacious and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. Especially if you need a parking and want to stay close to the citycenter, this is the place to stay. Alex, Javi and Pilar are friendly and helpfull during your stay. Yes, I can recommend this apartment! It wasn't the first time I rented it and it probably won't be the last time.

Jun 27, 2019He estado en el apartamento con mi familia y nos hemos sentido como en casa. El apartamento está muy bien, tiene de todo. Todo estaba muy limpio. Además te ofrecen cafés y cervezas para que cojas sin compromiso. Nos dieron todas las facilidades para la llegada y la salida. Tuvieron una disponibilidad total para cualquier cosa que pudiésemos necesitar. Conocimos a Pilar que es encantadora. El apartamento está situado a menos de 5 minutos del metro y varios autobuses. Tiene linea directa con la estación de Sants. Además se puede ir andando a cualquier sitio. La zona está muy bien, con muchos sitios en los que comer, cenar o tomar una copa.
Jun 27, 2019La casa nos pareció muy cuca, al llegar nos estaba esperando Pilar que muy amablemente nos explicó todo lo referente a la casa. Nos sentimos muy a gusto, es una casa moderna y bien equipada. Está situada cerca de la Avenida del Paralell que une la Plaza de España con Colón, así que muy buen ubicada. Única peguilla la plaza de parking que es un poco pequeña y de difícil acceso. Recomendable 100%.

Jun 27, 2019Un sitio en el que nos hemos sentido muy cómodos. Para empezar Alex tuvo el detalle de equiparnos la cocina a nuestra llegada, con leche, agua, refrescos, cervezas, surtido de infusiones, azúcar, cápsulas de café para la cafetera...El piso es muy acogedor y está muy bien equipado con todo lo que puedas necesitar en pequeños electrodomésticos, menaje, sartenes y ollas impecables… incluso con detalles en los cuartos de baño como monodosis de champú, cajas de pañuelos de tocador … Destacar que está muy bien comunicado con dos estaciones de metro cerca y paradas de bus, además el barrio tiene de todo, desde supermercados al salir de casa y el fantástico mercado de San Antoni a pocos metros. Como negativo, podría decir que la plaza de aparcamiento es estrecha y requiere de maniobras. Con respecto a una de las habitaciones dobles, señalar que aunque la cama es de 135cm, está pegada a la pared y resulta un poco claustrofóbica para el que duerme de ese lado, además de que una de las almohadas cae delante de la llave de la luz y durante la noche al moverte enciendes la luz sin querer. También comentar que cuando hay varios electrodomésticos funcionando a la vez (termo de agua, vitrocerámica, televisión y aire acondicionado) salta el diferencial de la luz, por lo que te obliga a apagar uno de ellos. En cualquier caso estos puntos negativos realmente no son un impedimento para recomendar este alojamiento.

Jun 27, 2019Alex made us feel welcome by providing food and drink in the frig, explaining the mechanics of the apartment, giving us hints as to safety and security, and indicating locations of stores like restaurants and markets. He also answered our questions immediately when we emailed him. The apartment was perfect for our family of four adults. It had everything we needed to cook and eat at home. It is new and beautiful with a wonderful view of the rooftops and the city. Overall it was splendid.

L'accueil est au top, avec de petites attentions (quelques confiseries, boissons...). Les hôtes sont d'une vraie gentillesse. Nous avons rendu l'appartement en fin de matinée et ils nous ont permis de laisser nos bagages l'après midi pour profiter de notre fin de séjour. L'appartement est idéalement placé, entre place d'Espagne, Montjuic, la vieille ville. À recommander+++++

Jun 27, 2019Meine Familie und ich haben uns auf dem Weg nach Spanien ganz spontan für Barcelona entschieden. Am selben Tag haben wir noch die "Sunny Penthaus mit Parkplatz" gebucht! Obwohl wir erst sehr spät am Abend ankamen, hat Alex auf uns für die Schlüsselübergabe gewartet . Alex hatte sogar ein paar Getränke, Tee, Kaffee und Milch für uns besorgt. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit viel Sonne (helle Wohnung) und die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen. Vor der Türe hat man verschiedene öffentliche Verkehrsmitteln und sehr gute Restaurants. Wer selber kochen will, hat gleich um die Ecke Supermäkte, Mercados und Obstläden. Es ist toll, dass wir eine Wohnung so zentral mit Parkplatz bekommen haben. Sollte ich nochmals nach Barcelona reisen, würde ich wieder gerne zu Alex, Javi& Pilar! Muchas Gracias! :)

Beaucoup de petites attentions dans la cuisine, des boissons dans le frigo... L appartement est très beau et confortable, les couchages en très bon état. Il est bien situé en ville. S il y a une petite chose à améliorer c est le bruit de la ventilation.

Jun 27, 2019Our flight was canceled due to technical reasons therefore delaying us by 1 day into Barcelona. We messaged Alex and Javi about the delay. They were absolutely the best. They responded promptly and even offered to refund the 1 night missed because they felt bad for us. So nice of them! Penthouse was 3 bedrooms and 2 washrooms. Beautiful apartment. Very quiet and central to everything. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely come back again.
Jun 27, 2019This was our first trip to Spain / Barcelona, and it was amazing. One of the main reasons was our stay at Alex's apartment. It was very close to the main city center and we walked around to the main sites. From the start Alex was available at every moment. He was there to receive us even though our flight was delayed. We left our keys in the apartment and got locked out but he came within an hour to help us out. My wife broke a glass jar and we were happy to pay for it or replace it but Alex didn't accept any monies. It was small thoughtful things that made our stay memorable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Barcelona. It was a pleasure meeting Alex and his Mum.
Jun 27, 2019We LOVED our stay at Alex's sunny penthouse! He greeted us kindly and on time, with maps, snacks and drinks awaiting us. As we relied on public transit, he showed us the best ways to get around and see what we were interested in and gave a few suggestions also. The flat was incredibly well located, with different subway lines surrounding us. We were two adult couples and the flat and kitchen provided everything we needed, including reliable wifi and the wonderful cappuccino machine which I wanted to take home with us. Loved the late afternoon sunshine and the high level view. Alex allowed us to leave our bags in the flat was getting ready for the next tenants. In sum, great host and great flat. Really recommend highly!

It has everything you might need even nespresso coffee machine with capsules, milk, drinks, nuts . Alex and his parents were very nice and kind to let us leave our luggage in the apartment before the check in time and gave us very useful informations where to go and how. The apartment is in perfect location near rambla street. We loved our stay and very highly recommended.

We arrived to the apartment with a fridge full of snacks and drinks and were given perfect instructions on where and where not to go in Barcelona. The apartment itself is incredible: three bedrooms right near a grocery store and a short walking distance to some of the best places to eat in Barcelona. We made the mistake one night of going to the tourist restaurants near La Rambla. Don't. It's a less than 10 minute walk from this apartment to the place where the locals go for food. Go there instead. It's significantly cheaper and way better than anything else we had. Next time we're in Barcelona, we're staying here again.

Jun 27, 2019Me, my wife and our three children stayed at Alex, Javi & Pilar's apartment for a week in april and we had a wonderful experience. The hosts took care of all our needs, espacially the needs of our 9 month baby (including a baby cot, a baby chair and a baby bath). Alex wellcomed us upon our arrival and gave us the keys. The apartment was exactly like in the photos and was very well equipped and very clean. The parking is very usuful if you have car alltough the parking space is a beat challenging if you have a large car. The location is perfect. It is in a quiet street in St. Antony neighborhood close to Parallel st. and not far from two metro stations and bus station. There is also a supermarket near by. To sum up, its a very recommended apartent.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was lovely, surpassing our expectations. It's not easy to find an affordable apartment for three demanding women who each want their own bedroom! The penthouse is attractive, clean, very well equipped - and in a great local neighbourhood, a short walk from the centre. Alex and Pilar were charming and helpful hosts. We were touched by their thoughtfulness in leaving snacks and drinks for us. Communication by email/text was excellent before we arrived in Spain, but we had trouble with our (NZ) phones trying to contact the hosts from Barcelona Airport. Even so, Alex was waiting for us at the apartment, with a big smile, excellent English and lots of helpful advice for our stay. This was our first experience of Airbnb and what a great introduction to it.
Jun 27, 2019Excellent welcome by Pilar with good practical advices for moving in Barcelona. Despite, the size of the city, it is easy and cheap by bus or metro. The apartment is also very conveniently placed for day to day shopping and for visiting. It is also practical inside and very clean. Although small overall, it accommodates four people very easily with two baths, three bedrooms and all conveniences: washing machine, dryer, iron, air-con, dishwasher and a garage (but do not expect to park a Mercedes S or a BMW 7 series). Also met Alex when we left. Very friendly and very efficient too. The check out only took minutes. We strongly recommend: good value for money and Barcelona is a fantastic city. Just the weather which was a bit cool for the period of the year, but nothing Pilar or Alex could do about.

Alex, Javi & Pilar ont rempli le frigo pour notre arrivée de bonne Saint Miguel, jus de fruit, lait, coca, etc... C'était vraiment un très gentil geste. A notre arrivée, Alex a pris le temps de nous expliquer comment nous déplacer, c'était parfait. Ensuite quand nous avons eu des questions durant notre séjour, il nous a toujours répondu rapidement. C'est sur, quand nous reviendrons à Barcelone, on reprendra cet appartement !!! Choisissez le les yeux fermés ;))))

Jun 27, 2019The apartment met our needs perfectly, it was very clean and exactly as described on the website. We stayed as a group of five, so the two bathrooms and the fact that two of the three bedrooms are doubles were perfect for us. The location was also great, as it is within walking distance to a lot of attractions in the city centre. It is particularly close to the El Raval area and the bottom half of La Rambla. There are a number of metro stations in short walking distance of the apartment too to make getting around easy, and Plaça de Catalunya is around a 20 minutes walk away. The apartment has lots of nice touches such as food and drink included, and the Nespresso machine for making nice coffees. Communication with the hosts was easy and we always had prompt replies to messages. We would happily recommend this flat to anyone looking to stay in Barcelona!

Jun 27, 2019Stayed at Alex, Javi and Pilar's place June 28 to July 1. The apartment was exactly what the pictured showed... no surprises at all other than being pleasantly surprised! Pilar greeted us at our meeting time and helped navigate us to our parking spot in the garage (tight corners but doable with her guidance). The apartment was cozy and spacious for us as a family of 5. Close to everything central (La Rambla, Barri Gottic, the beaches, Olympic village) and a couple of minutes to buses and metro. Appreciated the beer, Nespresso, chips, milk and cookies! Highly recommended... would come back in a heartbeat!

Jun 27, 2019My family and I enjoyed a very lovely stay at the apartment in Barcelona. It was a very convenient location; an easy walk to Montjiuc and Las Ramblas and the port. It was very comfortable with three bedrooms and two baths. The washer and dryer and the secure parking were great amenities. Alex, Pilar and Javi were so nice and stocked the kitchen with a few snacks and drinks and delicious coffee. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
Jun 27, 2019L'appartement est finalement assez petit par rapport à ce que les photos laissent croire. Il faudrait lessiver certains murs qui sont marqués par les passages des voyageurs. Il faudrait aussi préciser que l'accès au parking suppose de bien savoir manœuvrer si on a une grande voiture. Le quartier est très populaire ! Par forcément très calme. On est réveillé par les bruits de la rue. Par ailleurs, il y a des clochards qui dorment dans la rue, sur des bancs mais aussi le long de la porte d'entrée de l'immeuble. Dans l'ascenseur une note du syndic informe que la porte a été forcée à plusieurs reprises ces derniers jours et qu'il faut faire attention à ses affaires et ne laisser entrer personne : ça ne dégage pas des ondes positives. Dernier point : sur l'accueil : nous n'avons jamais vu les hôtes mais une personne qui ne parlait pas d'autre langue que l'espagnol (ou la catalan...) et qui s'est contenté de donner reprendre les clefs. Pas très chaleureux. Par contre les hôtes répondent vite par mail. Donc, globalement, c'est un petit appartement propret, pas trop mal placé pour l'accès au métro mais dans un quartier qui n'est pas ce que l'annonce laisse croire. Un peu trop cher pour ce que c'est (du moins, en pleine saison touristique).

Jun 27, 2019It was very nice to stay in this flat. Very convenient to go around in barcelona by walk or metro. And the facilities in the flat were very good. We much appreciate to be at the top floor that insure light and a nice vue. There is not much traffic in the street down the flat and around, consequently the flat is not noisy, and anyway, it is well equipped with modern windows and shutters. The two bathrooms are very convenient and well equipped. The kitchen is completely equipped and the large fridge is very convenient. The private car park is a MUST ! Do not imagine to handle a car without a private car park in Barcelona... And finally, special thanks to Alex, Javi and Pilar who are very reactive to any enquiries. And we much appreciated the various products left for us at our arrival.

Jun 27, 2019The stay at Alex, Javi and Ms. Pilar's place was absolutely fantastic. It is a great location close to almost everything by metro or public transport. The house itself has everything you need and was as shown in the photos. The beds were comfortable, the amenities provided were abundant and the cleanup was was well maintained. A special thank you to our hosts for the beverages and Oreo. :) Ms. Pilar and Mr. Ilyas were present when we arrived and were very helpful to move our bags from the car to the apartment. They explained everything in detail and were kind enough to also tell us about the city, attractions and times to visit the famous spots. A very very very big gracias to the both of them for their input and help. Alex was very responsive as well and he even helped me order pizza for dinner. Thanks Alex! I really wanted to meet Alex and Javi in person but hopefully somewhere in the near future. Overall, my stay at their apartment was pleasant, comfortable and felt like home away from my home. Jun 27, 2019Alex was amazing!! Very informative and accomodating of our earlier arrival. Apartment just as described. Amazing location. Tons of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and close to taxi stops as well as bus lines and metro. Walking to most places was easy if it was not walkable super easy to get on metro, rent a bike or taxi. There is a big city bike stand at the end of the block which was awesome. Air conditioning was amazing during these hot summer months! Alex was great and we actually stayed a second time in the apartment during pur second leg of the trip and everything was great again! Thanks so much we loved it here!!
Jun 27, 2019Alex, Javi and Pilar were wonderfully flexible after we arrived early to the apartment. It was a perfect place to stay for a weekend and had everything needed. The beers and soft drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. The apartment is fairly central with some nice bars and restaurants nearby. There are also good transport links close by.

La nevera tenia agua, leche, cerveza y coca cola. Unos chips y ademas una maquina de café con café. Gracias por todas sus atenciones. Muy facil la comunicacion con ellos y muy puntuales. Lo recomiendo.

Jun 27, 2019Alex met us at the apartment even though our flight was late and showed us around. He explained how the Barcelona metro worked and oriented us on a map to show where we were in the city and where everything is in relation. The apartment is half way between two metro stations and we found the metro the easiest way to get around. It's a 3-4 minute walk to either of the two stations. The apartment is on the 6th floor but there's a lift so you don't have to slog up the stairs. Inside, it's clean and bright. There are 2 double beds in rooms and one single bed. There are 2 bathrooms- one with a bath and one with a shower. Alex left us beer, milk and bottled water in the fridge and crisps and biscuits and coffee (good coffee) in the kitchen. The aircon worked well. When we left Alex was brilliant- accommodating our needs vis a vis flight times and departure etc. He couldn't have been more helpful. This is a great place to stay in Barcelona.
Jun 27, 2019Wow!!!! What a stay!!!! I could not recommend this apartment more. Pilar was so delightful - she was so smiley and funny and really made the effort to ensure we were safe and comfortable. She explained everything really well and was organised and on time! She was helpful as well, helping us to carry some bags and being an extremely effective aid while parking our large car in the car park. The apartment is simply beautiful, so full of light with absolutely everything you could need. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils to cook meals, which we used. The fridge even had some cold drinks and snacks!!!! Very thankful. The beds were very comfortable, each of them, and the master bedroom has its own en suite which was great for my parents. It was great to have a washing machine and drier too, as well as speedy wifi. The location is good - just a two minute walk away is a bus that takes you directly to Park Güell. Going to the Magic Fountain is also walkable. Some places nearby to try for food/drinks - Agust GastroBar. Amazing cocktails!!! The food was delicious. It was upmarket and expensive but would be great for a fancy night out!! La Cometa - yummy little cafe if you're into good coffee, art and fresh, healthy food and juices. Standard pricing.

Pilar, la anfitriona, ha sido muy atenta y ha dado expicaciones sobre todo lo que preguntamos. Dos observaciones: 1) la 2da.cama matrimonial es angosta para dos personas. 2) Es trabajoso aparcar en el parking si el coche es tipo Van. Aparte de estos dos detalles el apto. es altamente recomendable y volveriamos a alquilarlo si se presenta otra ocasion
Jun 27, 2019Headline: Neither good nor bad. Just Okay ish Pilar and Alex made us feel welcome and where quick and efficient in answering our queries. Alex was also accommodating in allowing us to check out later. The apartment is kept clean (but see below) and in a reasonable neighbourhood with lots of cafes around. However, staying here is just like staying in a well worn 3 star hotel (if was a hotel it would be a 3* hotel, a Best Western or a Premier Inn sort of place). If it was a UK university degree it would be a 2:2. If it was a GCSE result it would be a C (i.e. a pass, but your son is certainly not on his way to Oxford or Cambridge). There was absolutely nothing wrong with the apartment, but nothing right with it either. The walls are scuffed in the master bedroom and the lounge. Its fine for a pitstop, but lacks soul Would I stay here again? No

L'appartement est idéalement situé à 10 minutes de la colline de Montjuïc est un quart d'heure à pied de la rambla, à 2 minutes du métro de la sagrada familia, à 5 minutes du bus pour le parc guell. L'appartement est très propre lumineux et calme il est très agréable et bien équipé. Nous y avons été bien et y retournerons avec plaisir.
Jun 27, 2019This was the best place to stay! Clean and new - had all the amenities we were looking for including a safe parking space for our rental car and both a washer AND dryer for our clothes. Loved being on the top floor - nice views. The beds were very comfortable, closets had plenty of space and bathrooms were great. We loved the blackout shutters - helped us with transitioning to such a different time zone. The grocery store was just around the corner. Easy short walk to Metro, harbor and fun shopping on Las Ramblas. We only needed our car for more distant excursions, like Montserrat. I would highly recommend staying at this Air B&B!

Jun 27, 2019The place definitely exceeded my expectations, it was nicer than some hotels I've stayed at. It was extremely clean and they were very considerate with what they provided. There is a bus stop and metro station <5 minutes from the house so very convenient. There was one small thing, the room facing the streets did occasionally get noisy at night, not sure if it's common there or just the time we went but it was bearable for sure. With that being the only complaint I have about their place, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Jun 27, 2019This is a great place if you want to be fairly close to everything, with really easy access to public transportation and about a 15-20 minute walk to either the Gothic area or the beach. The apartment is cosy, very clean and well maintained and outfitted. Wifi worked well and having a dryer as well as a washer was a great bonus! Certainly comfortable for 4-5 people - the pictures are an accurate reflection. There was some noise from outside at night, but not at all bad, considering we were in downtown Barcelona. Alex was very helpful and left good instructions - check in and out was made very easy. We felt very lucky to find a great base like Alex's for exploring Barcelona!

Jun 27, 2019First of all, we can say that Pilar and Alex are the best hosts in the world!!! They are always ready to help you and to give precoius information and, if you send Alex a message, he answers immediately! The apartment is very clean, central and fully equipped: it's like being at home, in the heart of Barcelona! You really have everything you need to cook and to clean the house: microwave, nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, hoover and a lot of detergent products. Pilar has offered us some fresh drinks and snacks: what a lovely welcome! We have also found in the kitchen useful basics as sugar, salt, tea and coffee.... The apartment has two bathrooms and three bedrooms: the largest bedroom is wonderful, with its large window, but it can be a bit noisy during the night; the other bedrooms are narrow but very silent and peaceful. The location is very convenient: if you like walking, you can reach in about 10/15 minutes Placa de Espanyia, Las Ramblas and the port; several bus and metro station are also very close, and they connect you easily to topic places as Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell. A supermarket open until 23 in the night is just next door, and you can buy fresh food at the coloured St Antoni market. We were travelling with our 3 years old daughter and we recommend this apartment to families!

Jun 27, 2019위치가 정말 좋았고 호스트도 매우 친절했습니다. 방의 준비도도 좋았고 필요한 물 수건 세제 드라이기 등 모든 것들이 잘 준비되어 있었습니다. 좀 큰 문제 하나는 따듯한 물을 쓰면 자꾸 두꺼비집이 나가서 난방이 안되거나 정전이 되는 사태가.. 좀 자주 일어났어요. 하루에도 3~4번 이상.. 그래서 밤에 춥거나 충천을 해놓고 잤는데 아침에 보니 충천이 안되어 있고 이런게 좀 불편했습니다. 건물이 오래되고 도시 자체 파워가 약하다고 말씀은 하셨지만 이 부분은 꼭 개선되어야 할 부분인것 같아요. 그리고 사진과 다르게 방하나는 매우 작습니다. 주니어용이니 어른 셋이 각자 3방 쓸 생각하면 안될겁니다. 참고하세용~
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was one of best air bnb we stayed during two months of Europe tour, highlighted with perfect location. The main street (Ra lambla?) is actually quite close that you can reach on foot in just 10 min which was fantastic. There are some nice spanish restaurants nearby as well. The apartment has large spaces, being well organized and clean which was just comfortable. Recommend!
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is clean and tidy. The cooking set are well prepared. There is even a coffee machine with capsule and soft drink provided by the hosts. They are really welcomed their guests. We appreciate very much. There is nothing negative except the parking lot is small for a 7-people-car (a mini MPV). However, to be honest, it is not a big deal because you can park your car in the street side. There are enough space for parking.

Il est très bien situé et permet d'accéder facilement aux différents sites et quartiers touristiques aussi bien à pied qu'en transport en commun. De plus , le parking privé souterrain est un atout incontestable si vous venez à Barcelone en voiture. Très bon accueil de Pilar, qui a le sens de l'hospitalité, en remplissant le frigo de bières, coca, lait, dosettes de café...etc.. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de vacances.
Jun 27, 2019Location is superb, hundreds of restaurants within a short walk. Apartment is small, but very efficiently laid out. Hot water was plentiful. Beds were very comfortable, especially the master bedroom Queen size bed. Pilar was excellent, meeting us and had supplied the refrigerator with a few beers, some small snacks, bottled water and fruit. There was also coffee and laundry soap. It was an excellent stay in an amazing city.
Jun 27, 2019Alex was very communicative. He kept in touch from the start of our booking and right through our stay. Always responding to our questions and requests within minutes of my texts. The apartment is exactly as described. Beautiful, spacious, clean and well stocked. The fridge had cola, water and beer on our arrival. Check in was a breeze. Pilar met us at the apartment and made sure to go over everything with us. Check out was even better as there was a marathon that day. Alex made sure we got a taxi and onto our cruise in time. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Alex and Javi were both very responsive and helped us check in and settle into the apartment very easily! They also were very helpful in helping me figure out alternative ways to the airport when they let me know there was a taxi strike! They are wonderful hosts and I hope I'll get to come back and visit soon!

Jun 27, 2019Another stellar stay with Alex! We needed early check in due to cruise disembarkation and Alex did not hesitate to accommodate. The apartment was again 100% clean and well stocked with drinks and some snacks. Check out was another breeze. We had an early flight out so Alex arranged a taxi and even reminded us of Daylight savings time so that we could change our clocks and not miss the car or flight. Apartment was spacious and close to everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place!

Jun 27, 2019We are a family with a teenage daughter, and we spent a very pleasant weak in this apartment. Everything was clean and like described. The Metro and Supermarcets are very close, and the Ramblas are in walking distance. Alex was waiting for us, and explained us everything about the apartment, and how to get around in Barcelona, and where to find nice restaurants. It was very convenient to have some basic supply like coffee, milk, cookies, soap etc. We spent the week with lots of Gaudi's architecture, Museums, walks through the City, and a trip to Montserrat. Even the weather was perfect! At the end of the week Alex organized a taxi for us to get us to the airport. Everything was very pleasant and we highly recommend this apartment!

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is very comfortable and well appointed with all of the necessary amenities. We particularly appreciated the espresso machine. It is located in a more residential rather than touristy area, but it is still quite central to all of the sights of Barcelona. With a secure car park, it is excellent for those driving to the city. Contact with the owners was excellent, and Pilar, our contact, was extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this apartment without reservation.

Jun 27, 2019This is a great place on the six floor with a good view of the tree lined street. Lots of eateries and three markets are close by if you like to cook at home. Personally I'd rather eat out. Subway is a short walk and taxis are always available nearby. People in the stores and restaurants are very friendly and helpful. Riding the subway is always easy and there's plenty of people willing to help you. We always bought three trip cards rather than individual trips because there are less expensive. Our hosts were very helpful.

From the moment we arrived when Pilar greeted us, helped us settle in and gave us useful information about Barcelona through to booking taxis for us and advising us on times to get to the airport for our very early flight, our hosts were remarkable! The apartment high up above the street was very usefully placed between great restaurants ( note especially Malamen Bendita Bodega and Filomenas were outstanding and less than 5 minutes from the apartment ) , and the number 24 bus which takes you into the main sections of Barcelona , past the Gaudi houses and on to Parc Guelll was also easy walking to the old parts of town, the big fresh food market and las Ramblas. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Thank you once again, Alex,Javi and Pilar for a great stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer! Cecily Dempster

Only the parking was difficult with our big car. Is is ok for small cars but not for family vans... Thanks for everything!
Jun 27, 2019We are a family of three - two adults and one six-year-old. We loved this apartment. The apartment is clean and beautifully decorated. Also, the layout made it feel very spacious. It is an easy walk to the Mercat de la Boqueria and the Rambla more generally. It is close to a number of metro stops. It is on the sixth floor and there's a lovely view from the living room window and the master bedroom overlooking the city. The apartment gets a lot of light. Alex, Javi and Pilar provide all the basic amenities that travelers need including coffee, milk, shampoo, bath gel etc. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Barcelona.

El apartamento tenía hasta el último detalle y ubicación perfecta. Tanto en el momento de llegada, como a la hora de salir, Pilar un encanto, y muy pendiente de todo. Recomendaría el apartamento al 100%. En nuestra próxima visita a Barcelona, intentaremos alojarnos de nuevo allí.

It was really helpful to have separate bedrooms and a bathroom for our kids, and the apartment is very spacious with a full kitchen. It is centrally located and a short distance to metro stops. All in all, highly recommended!

Jun 27, 2019For me this is one of best on Airbnb so far, Alex is very communicative, warm and make us feel very welcoming The flat itself, just perfect, we arrived at 33 degree and they have turned on the aircon for us, no word could describe how nice we've felt, the flat has totally everything you need, come with all the drinks and snacks, and surprisingly they even have a dryer, it makes things so much easier. Absolutely no negative comments from us if you were looking to read any, sorry! :)

Jun 27, 2019This is an absolute gem of a place to stay in beautiful Barcelona. The communication by the hosts was excellent from the start, with Alex being very responsive to queries by email and Pilar giving us an extensive tour of the apartment when we arrived, as well as showing us a map of Barcelona and giving us some top tips about what to see and how to get around the city during our 3 day visit. The apartment is extremely light, quiet (despite its central location), clean, well equipped and well located. The air conditioning works very well and is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the black out blinds meant that we could sleep in easily! We felt very much at home here and would heartily recommend this apartment to others.

Jun 27, 2019Our hosts were very warm and accommodating - they let us leave our bags a bit early, and check out a bit later. The space is lovely - a nice modern building with good kitchen and eating space, and they left us a fairly well-stocked fridge. There's not a lot of space in the bedrooms but we managed (keeping the suitcases in the closet). The master bed is quite firm - ok for my spouse but I ended up sleeping on the couch (which worked out fine). Others might not have a problem, but I have sore hips. The double bed is softer, and there is also a single bed in a very small room.

Based in a nice neighborhood with plenty of bars, places to eat and supermarkets within walking distance. Alex, Javi and Pilar were nice enough to stock the apartment with some beverages for us including tea, coffee, milk and beer. The apartment was very stylish. clean and fit a family of 4 comfortably. Alex was very easy to get in touch with, met us at the apartment to show us around when we checked in and Pilar met us on check out. Would highly recommend the apartment and would definitely stay again.
Jun 27, 2019This apartment afforded lots of space for our group of four friends. We found treats in the kitchen when we arrived: chocolate, biscuits, beer and cola in the fridge, and more. We made meals together in the well-appointed kitchen - there are several grocery stores right around the corner - after full days out and about in Barcelona. Getting around is a snap with several Metro stations in easy walking distance and it was a pleasure to get back to a comfortable, safe, and clean apartment that is off the tourist track but in a neighborhood full of shops and restaurants. We really appreciated the well-stocked paper products in the kitchen and bathrooms, the comfortable beds, lots of storage in the bedroom closets, and the super fast and reliable wi-fi. We enjoyed a world-class musical one early Friday night at a theater only five minutes walking distance from the apartment. Check-in was a breeze. Alex answered all of our questions and even ordered taxis to the airport for us on the day we checked out. We couldn't have asked for more. A delightful place to stay!

Jun 27, 2019This is a really nice & cosy home - great location with easy access to metro & bus as well as walk8ng distance to Gothic quarter & Ramblas. The place was clean & had adequate kitchen utensils etc. We were two parents with two adult kids & were able to fit all of us. Also the hosts were gracious enough to let us check in early as our son arrived there by an earlier flight. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Barcelona!
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was in a great location, walking distance to almost every area, especially gothic district, with a nice view in the master bedroom and living room. The space has great natural light as well. Our flight landed quite late, but Pilar was kindly there to greet us. She was very sweet, and gave us a thorough walkthrough of not only the apartment, but also a map of Barcelona. The fridge had drinks which was also a thoughtful touch. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Barcelona.
Jun 27, 2019Everything was fine. The apartment is silent, close to the main attractions. A lot of amenities are available. Pilar gave us a wonderful tourist insight on the city. Guests are flexible regarding check in and out hours.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was in a good location - easy walking to all sites and not noisy. The parking place was an added bonus! The bedrooms are on the small side, and the tiny room with the double bed is really only comfortable for one person. The amenities are a wonderful touch though and made the experience even better.

Jun 27, 2019Loved how good the hosts were with their communication. They made us all feel extremely welcome when we arrived at the apartment. The apartment is in an amazing location, lots of supermarkets nearby, tips on what is good around the apartment were very useful. Heating, bedding, towels, blackout shutters, warm water for the showers was brilliant. There was a personal touch of beer and coke in the fridge which we all enjoyed very much. Thank you very much, I shall recommend you to my friends!

The flat is well located, if you come for party don't rent a car it is useless as Barcelona is quiet big, the flat managers are super friendly, and communicative, they are just amazing! THANK YOU GUYS!

Jun 27, 2019Home away from home. This is our fourth stay with Alex/Javi and Pilar. Each time has been exceptional. The apartment is always fully stocked. Additional items like water, beer, cola, cookies were provided. Pilar is a joy and has always been there to greet us. Check in and out is always easy. I would definitely recommend this apartment to everyone.
Jun 27, 2019Excellent location! We walked everywhere! The neighborhood is safe and convenient. Our hosts met us to check in right on the time we designated. The apartment is a good size. We had 3 of us stay. The only issue was hot water, but we worked that out by splitting shower times between morning and night. Overall a great place in the heart of Barcelona.
Jun 27, 2019Stayed in Alex’s apartment for 2 nights with a family of five. We drove in from Valencia in minivan and were met by Pilar, who does not speak any English but was very friendly and helpful with a lot a helpful local info. There is secure parking, but it is VERY tight, and not meant for minivans. It was somewhat amazing that I made it in and out without any damage to the vehicle. The apartment is in a decent area, close to metro stops and good restaurants, especially in Poble-Sec, but going a few blocks into El Raval it gets a little scuzzy and I would avoid at night. It is a pretty easy mile walk to the old town/plaza Catalunya area. The apartment is nice and clean and very functional if not luxurious. One bedroom with a larger bed, and two smaller bedrooms with beds that can really only sleep one adult/teen. The couch can be used as a bed, although not overly comfortable. Two nice bathrooms. Washer and dryer very convenient. Kitchen area was very nice, and the hosts even left some beers and cokes. Nice little supermarket just 2 doors down. Alex was a good communicator, and was flexible about checkout time for us. Recommended.

She kindly guided us into our parking space in a tight garage:) Apartment lovely and clean, we may have used more than our fair share of Nespresso pods during our stay. The washer and dryer where terrific. Apartment well equipped!
Jun 27, 2019Our stay in Barcelona was the last stop in 3 European cities as well as our third airbnb of the trip. Travel issues delayed our arrival until 11pm but we were still personally greeted by our host, given a tour of the apartment and provided complimentary beer, coffee, soda and advice on seeing the sights of Barcelona. This was a huge contrast from the other two stays where we did not meet our hosts at all. The apartment was clean, perfectly equipped, and in an awesome energetic area.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is situated within easy walking distance of the port area and not far from the famous La Rambla. There are lots of restaurants and bars close by. We were welcomed by the lovely Javi who, despite limited English, explained everything and gave us plenty of advice on where to visit and where to avoid. We would certainly stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019This spotless, beautiful apartment is the perfect base from which to explore Barcelona. Pilar was waiting for us in front of the building when we arrived, and even though her English and our Spanish/Catalan is limited, we had no trouble understanding the very thorough instructions/advice/tips she gave us upon check-in. Lovely touches throughout, e.g., blackout shades, refrigerated drinks, Nespresso, bath gel. The beds are super comfy; there is a wonderful view from the master bedroom and living area; and the sounds of the city are muffled (so we slept well at night). It was also extremely handy to have access to a washer/dryer. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Jun 27, 2019Pilar personally met us in the front door. The place is super clean. The beds are all comfortable. You have almost everything you need when you wish to cook your own meals. The grocery is just around the corner. Not far from the metro station. I would definitely love to come back.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay in the apartment. It is not huge but ideal for 4 or 5 people with every amenity you need. The communication with Alex was excellent at all times. Pilar is a gem. What a lovely helpful lady. We wanted to take her home with us. There are lots of restaurants nearby, the Tapas street was a 10 min walk, the train station is 5 mins away and the Sant Antoni market 5 mins away too. The parking was essential for us and with an ever enthusiastic Pilar guiding us into the tight parking garage, all was safe for our stay. We appreciated the free beer,coke and biscuits and Pilar even paid for our coffees at the cafe below when we arrived earlier than expected! Not her fault...ours! Nice place, great people.
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is great for families. The special touches of beer, sodas, coffee and bathroom supplies were a sweet surprise. The apartment is within walking distance to La Rambla and Poble-Sec. You can catch the Metro just two blocks away and easily travel the city. There are 5 grocery stores within the block to get any supplies you need. The beds were comfy and the AC worked great. The washer and dryer were such a bonus and they even left washer pods for us to use. If you are going to Barcelona, this is a great place.
Jun 27, 2019Traveling with our two son's this was the perfect apartment in many ways. The space itself was more than adequate as each boy had his own room and shared a bath. Beds were comfortable. Rooms adequately dark for sleeping and the AC worked great. The living space was comfortable. Provided toiletries, coffee and beer were nice touches and appreciated. The location w as a great place to explore all of Barcelona's greatest hits. Las Ramblas is a 10 minute walk, the subway less than 5. Cabs are easily accessible one block away. We discovered the neighborhood was equally vibrant and found some nice restaurants and bars. Great place, great communication, great stay.
Jun 27, 2019This was a great apt in a fairly newly rehabbed building. Good elevator, secure doors, nice view from the penthouse. Great A/C. The fridge even came stocked with a few beers, cokes and waters. No less than 3 grocery stores in a 3 block radius. Pilar greeted us and couldn't have been nicer. She spent time showing us the whole map of Barcelona. Location was stellar; close to Metro stops, 15-20 minute walk to La Rambla. Neighborhood seemed very safe, lots of nice little shops everywhere. We had the most fun on Blai St, which is a walking street full of tapas bars about 10 minutes walk in the Poble Sec. La Tasqueta de Blai! Highly recommended. Closest metro stop connects right to the Mt Montjuic funicular for a fantastic view of the city and the old castle up there and surrounding parks. To save money, consider riding up and walking down through all the gardens. The Passieg de Gracia is the area where the Gaudi house and Casa Mila are located, and is a beautiful wide walking street. You will be absolutely amazed at the amount of street cafes. Also, the L3 green line is at the closest stop, Paral.lel, and it connects directly to the Aeropuerto Train for 4.60E. Little did we know the Gay Pride parade was scheduled for 5 PM on the Paral.lel two blocks away. Entertaining if you're open-minded.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment itself is compact but well appointed with plenty of room for atleast 5 people. All the amenities are modern and well maintained and we appreciated the child friendly crockery and cutlery as well as the fact that there were basic food supplies as well as thoughtful touches like the cold beer and other beverages for us in the fridge. The apartment is a stone's throw away from interesting bars and food places and commuting was not a problem at all. Alex was wonderful enough to agree to babysit our children for one evening when we made a last minute plan to attend the JayZ/Beyonce concert in Barcelona and he also ended up helping with our laundry and dishes as well. Such a treat! The one thing I would ask future occupants who are driving a car to be aware of is that the parking space in the garage is extremely tight and it is a very stressful experience parking the vehicle in the space assigned to us. My husband who is an expert driver ended up denting our rental car (remember to always pay that little extra for comprehensive insurance) twice trying to negotiate those turns. All in all, a beautiful, sunny, well ventilated apartment with modern amenities and fabulous hosts. We would return in a heartbeat!
Jun 27, 2019A great apartment with a lift and arriving to find cold drinks and coffee pods waiting for us was wonderful! Pilar was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than planned and showed us how everything worked in the apartment. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. Our rental car was an Alfa Romeo Stalvio and the carpark was a struggle to get to and got scratched. Also an FYI, we went out on the first night and headed right which wasn’t so desirable at night but turning left for dinner the next 2 nights worked out better.

Jun 27, 2019This is the perfect apartment for a stay in Barcelona! There is a parking space with the flat, which is safe and secure and accessible via a lift from the apartment. Our hosts were fantastic, excellent communication ahead of our stay and then Pilar met us at the apartment to check us in and show us around the flat. The flat itself is spacious and very clean. There is air con, which was brilliant (it was 36C when we visited) and the fridge was stocked with beer, soft drinks and milk - such a nice touch. It was about a 10/15 minute walk from La Rambla, a perfect location for sightseeing. We would absolutely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Alex, Pilar en Javi verhuren een prachtig appartement mét parkeerplaats in garage in het centrum van Barcelona, slechts vijftien minuten lopen van La Rambla. Omringt door talloze eetgelegenheden en op steenworp afstand van een recent geopende overdekte markt. De ontvangst is hartelijk en de toelichting op wat er allemaal te beleven is uitermate uitgebreid - super! Ook het openbaarvervoer is dichtbij. Het appartement is netjes, de ijskast gevuld met bier, water en frisdrank. Daarnaast is de keuken voorzien van alle gemakken. De slaapvoorzieningen zijn voldoende voor twee volwassenen en drie kinderen, maar maximaal vier volwassenen. Kortom, wij raden dit appartement zeker aan!

Jun 27, 2019Alex, Javi and Pilar’s apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and in a great location. I received a message before hand with all of the details and arranged to meet outside the apartment. We were able to check-in early which was great! We were met outside the apartment and were provided with a full tour of the apartment, a map of the city and recommended the places to go and what to avoid, which was really helpful! There was also some treats in the fridge which was a great touch including Coca Cola and beer. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Barcelona! The place was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Alex met us to check in and helped get our car into the space then went through a map with us to make sure we knew how to get to the places we wanted to see. He was very helpful! Pilar helped us with the car when we left and gave us a warm farewell. We are so glad we stayed here and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Alex, Javi, and Pilar!!!

Plenty of Tapas Bars, Restaurants, Supermarket and the biggest soccer/football store we’ve ever seen close by for convenience. The apartment would suit both families and a group of friends travelling.

Pilar met us and gave us great tips on how to get around. Blai street is just a few blocks away and has a lot of fun tapas bars. This apartment is highly recommended!

Jun 27, 2019Appartement parfaitement conforme (dont les deux salle-de-bain très appréciables à 4+ personnes), de très gentilles attentions (capsule de café, boissons à disposition, carte de barcelone), excellente connexion internet, proche métro-épicerie-café, et le parking est un gros plus (malgré l’étroitesse j'ai quand même plus garer une 308 Break). Alex, Javi et Pilar sont très facilement joignable et parlent parfaitement l'anglais si besoin. Nous avons passé un super séjour. Bravo !!!
