You are in the epicenter of the Leme/Copacabana neighborhood. Everything that happens in Rio happens outside our window: parades, marches, half marathons, cycling tours, you name it we see it. We saw the The FIFA Fan Fest, Rolling Stones concert, Pope Francis, Lenny Kravitz, and the annual New Year’s Eve fireworks from our window. There are two elevators accessing the apartment: the front social elevator (recently updated) which services only one apartment per floor and the rear service elevator with entry through the kitchen. The neighborhood is great. It is very safe and much more peaceful than Copacabana. There are some outstanding restaurants in the area and some night life as well. You can rent bikes across the street, rent a paddle board at the other end of the beach, or go for an ocean swim.

Cleaning is charged separately. Three day minimum. Note the apartment is actually three bedrooms, but one of them can be closed off. A couple of blocks away, you can catch buses to any part of Rio day or night. 10 to 15 minute walk is the subway. Taxi stands are a minute away. From the two airports (Galeão and Santos Dumont) you can take a taxi or a luxury bus that leaves every 20 to 30 minutes. You can take this same luxury bus back to the airport.

Access is provided the living room, kitchen, two front bedrooms, and bathrooms (one attached to the master bedroom). The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave. washer, dryer and filtered water dispenser. The kitchen comes equipped with mixer, toaster, coffee makers, blender, sandwich press, dicer among other devices and utensils (even a utensil to roll sushi).
