Styled for comfort and relaxation, boasting city skyline views, a comfortable king sized bed, a flowing working area and large living quarters with your own private floor. The common areas are shared and can be enjoyed by our guests. The house offers a private gated courtyard filled with fresh herbs and edibles grown by us! A fully functional kitchen, laundry with washer/dryer facilities, and a large comfortable living and dining area. There is one bathroom with a shower and bathtub, as well as 2 separate toilets on the ground floor and second level. Internet access is available and can be used throughout the duration of your stay. BBQ facilities are also available. We ask that you please clean the area including all utensils and grill plates if you decide to use it. For our guests with cars, unmetered street parking is available. Your room is located on the top floor where there are two flights of stairs. Neighborhood Overview
Rozelle/Balmain offers a village lifestyle, quality restaurants, curated fashion, gift and antique shops, water views, walking tracks, a boat club, an abundance of pubs, heritage buildings alongside architect-designed multi-level terraces, parks and a very proud dog culture. What's not to enjoy!
Notes
We ask that you please use all common areas with respect, and clean up after yourself. This includes cleaning of used dishes, rubbish and the BBQ if you decide to use it. Extra fees may be applied if the house is left unkept. Please do not bring anyone other than yourself, to our home. Parties are strictly forbidden. We are a working home and ask that you respect all partrons by keeping noise at a minimum, from 10pm.
Transit
Access
You are welcome to access all common areas and of course, your room during the entirety of your stay. Out of courtesy, the two bedrooms located on the second floor are not accessible. A guest book will be kept at the house for you to go through should you have any questions however, please feel free to contact me or speak to your two hosts Jacqueline and Justin who will be present (intermittently), if you are unsure of anything.

Please respect our home as if it were your own. Please clean up after yourself including washing of any used dishes, removing waste and cleaning the BBQ if you decide to use it. Extra cleaning fees may be applied if the house is left unkept. We are a working home and ask that noise be kept to a minimum, from 10pm. Parties and additional guests not included in the initial booking are strictly forbidden.

Naturally the first thing that is most unique about staying at Andy’s place is that you are living in an attic/loft with 2 skylight windows that bring in plenty of sunshine! It’s not everyday you get to wake up with the sun shining down on you which made waking up very pleasant just busking in the morning light. Second of all, I don’t think we’ve ever been on a more comfortable bed. Every night we fall asleep so easily and soundly and every morning it takes us ages to get off the bed because it’s really just that comfortable. You have to try it to believe it. While Andy wasn’t around in the place, her friend Jacque was and she was the warmest person ever. We were late checking in on the first night and she waited for us to get back so she could welcome us in. The toilets are also very extremely clean and well fitted, hot water readily available. Andy also lives in a really nice quiet neighbourhood that isn't too far off from the city too, which is great cos travelling is convenient and you still get to come home to peace and quiet. That being said, there are plenty of great cafe's and eateries around the neighbourhood, so if you feel like avoiding the city hustle, you're covered. All in all, we can’t recommend Andy’s place enough and we will definitely be back again soon!
Jun 27, 2019Andy’s place was a lovely, bright and sunny room even though it was a bit far from lightrail or bus stops. I stayed for one week and it was a perfect choice for me. It have spacious bed and all the lovely objets, and the view of the city was beautiful.
Jun 27, 2019Andy's place is really lovely, check-in was simple and is a good proximity to Sydney CBD an as well as some lovely bay walks. Housemates are super welcoming and the kitchen is equipped with basic necessities to cook in the kitchen. The room is a little bit warm in the summer due to being on the top floor but Andy has provided a fan. The room was very clean and spacious with comfy pillows and nice bedding. Highly recommend!
