The Mapmaker's House, where you will be staying on the 2nd floor reserved for guests, is a hundred-year-old house located within the historic neighbourhoods of Westmount and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Close to the downtown area but also in a quiet neighbourhood with a host of green spaces, it is a minute's walk away from Sherbrooke Street West, with its restaurants and shops, a 5 min walk from Vendôme metro station and a 10 min walk from the Glen site of the MUHC . There are two free parking spaces.

An entire floor of this hundred-year-old house is reserved for guests. The space is made up of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a fitted kitchen, a lounge and two balconies. Wi-Fi, washer-dryer, bedding, towels and some handy equipment are also provided. In addition, two secure parking spaces are provided free of charge on the private property of the house - very useful, since parking spaces are at a premium in the area. Breakfast is included. Grocery stores, restaurants and shops are a couple of minutes away on foot. Facilities nearby also include: bus stops, Vendôme metro and rail station, Bixi bike rental dock, green spaces, Glen site of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), Shriners Hospital for Children, Décarie Highway. Downtown Montreal, Museum of Fine Arts, McCord Museum, Saint Joseph's Oratory, Montreal and Concordia universities, Champlain Bridge are under 15 minutes away.

The Mapmaker’s House is in a great location for transport links. • Two secure parking spaces are provided free of charge on the private property of the house. • The house is close to freeways 10, 15 and 20, Champlain Bridge. • Downtown Montreal is under 15 minutes away by car or metro and under 25 minutes away on foot. • The Glen site of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) is less than 10 minutes away on foot. • Vendôme metro and rail station, which connects with three suburban lines - Saint-Jérôme, Candiac and Vaudreuil-Hudson - is 5 minutes away on foot. • The nearest docking point of the Montreal bike rental scheme - BIXI Montréal – is an 8-minute walk away. • P.-E.-Trudeau international airport is 17 minutes away by car in normal traffic. You should allow about 25 minutes if travelling there by train or taxi; if you are taking the train and the bus, possibly allow an extra 12 minutes, not including bus waiting time.
