Very good host, very nice place exactly as in photographs. Although the neighborhood isn't the best for families or ladies.. but the room is secure and 2 minute walking distance from the central road which ALWAYS have police presence. We do suggest the place and we will probably visit again.

Всегда, горячая и холодная вода, кондиционер, тихая, не шумная улочка. Чистая ванная и туалет. Кровать, белье, полотенца - все в полном порядке. Очень хорошее, качественное предложение в своем классе! Рекоммендую.
Jun 27, 2019Everyone at the Balance Hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. The room is as described, clean and tidy and comfortable although it is starting to get a bit rough round the edges from normal wear and tear. The location is convenient for Istiklal. The neighborhood is off the main streets and could be a little intimidating for females alone. I was waiting for my daughter in a car outside when I was forced to move further down the street to allow another vehicle to pass. As soon as I stopped a very intimidating character knocked on the window and told me to move in a very menacing manner. I was not in anybody's parking space or blocking anything. It was a warning that I was not welcome there. My younger daughter in the back of the car was very scared. For groups of guys and adults no issues if you know about it but groups of girls or families with young children may find it uncomfortable.

Jul 27, 2019Serdar abi kesinlikle çok içten, canayakın ve misafirperver. Bizleri çok sıcak karşıladı. Bir sıkıntı yaşamadık ama sıkıntı olsa yardımcı olacağını hissettirdi. Checkout yapacarken biraz geç çıktık ama hiç dert etmedi tolerans gösterdi. Odalar görsellerde görüldüğü gibiydi belki biraz daha temiz olabilirdi fakat fiyatının çok çok üzerinde bir performans diyebiliriz. Tarlabaşı, kalmak için ilk başta çok güvenli gelmese de otelin içi dışından çok farklı ayrıca konumu çok merkezi. Tekrar tercih edilebilir :)

The staff were very nice and friendly :) A big thank you to the manager Mr Saeed and all the staff. Istanbul is my second home and I will definitely be staying at Mr serdars apartment again :) ! PS: I loved how Mr serdar was at the apartment when we arrived to make sure everything was fine. Great experience overall.
Jun 27, 2019Said was very helpful with our arrival. First day he was very kind to introduce us with neighbourhood and show us how to use metro and to tell us which is the best ways to sightseeing. Apartmant was clean and like in the pictures.

Jun 27, 2019Serdar Bey çok nazik, ilgili ve dürüst bir insan. Kesinlikle hiç bir problem yaşamadık. Evi ve yeri çok güzel. Mr. Sedar is very kind, carying and honest person. We certainly had no problems. The house and the location is very good.
Jun 27, 2019Hosts are very warm and polite , pick up Us up in the very late evening ,was waiting for us , apartment is clean , in old area of taxim , very close to walking street . Every day clean flat very well . The important point about host is their responsibility about guests and not only care about money .
Jun 27, 2019Serdar et son équipe était au RDV, un très bon accueil nous a été réservé à notre arriver. M Ahmed était très disponible pour nous fournir tout ce dont nous avons besoins notamment mettre à notre disposition un fer à repasser et sa table en plus d'un séchoir à linge. Le service de chambre était assez correcte, nettoyage et changement des draps et serviettes. Un petit bémol, la kitchenette est trop petite et étroite, manque un peu d’ustensile de cuisine. A part ça, nous avons très bien apprécier notre séjour chez Serdar qui nous à très bien accueilli dans son Hotel. Je recommanderai assez bien ce lieu .

Jun 27, 2019Cet Air bnb est un appart hôtel, il convient parfaitement à des couples ou des petites familles. Il n'y a pas toute les facilités énuméré par l'hôte comme pas de machine a laver ni de service de laundry, faible connexion wifi, très petite cuisine pas très pratique pour une grande famille. Ce type de bien est plus adapté aux couples et petite famille. Cependant c'est un hôtel très bien situé proche des transports et des restaurants et boutiques.

Jun 27, 2019Serdar was a very nice and considearate host. He warmly welcomed us at the location when we arrived with his wife and staff. They were all very helpful. He also went out of his way to help me when my car got towed by the police, he gave me a ride to the station and eased the process for me as I didn't speak Turkish. The apartment was nice on the inside, despite not having a space for a table or a sittig space, but in a lively place like that I only need the place to sleep at night. Although the area was old, the location is very close to everything you need, Istiklal street, Taksim, and public transportation. Recommended if you need a place to sleep at at the heart of the city.

Jun 27, 2019Serdar and the manager, Muhammad, were awesome hosts. Their communication was super quick and they made great recommendations on how to get around. The location is amazing if you want to avoid the tourist area yet be within 5 min walk to the local party scene. I highly recommend doing Pub Crawl Istanbul which takes place in the area and gets you into the hot spots with no hassles at the front door.

Jun 27, 2019It was great a place in a great location. Clean rooms, clean beds and sheets. And Serdar is an amazing person! Helpful! Friendly! Supportive! Serdar provided all the things we needed. The location is close to taksim square, İstiklal caddesi and public transportation. It has lots of supermarkets, restaurants, cafes all around. Great experience! Definitely recommended!
Jun 27, 2019This place is more of a hotel so don't expect a full apartment. It's actually a big hotel room with a mini kitchen. The room is as shown in the picture. If you don't need a full kitchen then it's a good place. However the location is tough to get to and between old residential area. However Serdar was very nice and good host when we told him we need a full kitchen he allowed us to switch to a full apartment he had close by. Very close to taqsim square and very big.

Jun 27, 2019Это не отель/комната, это ужасные апартаменты в самой грязной и небезопасной части Стамбула, где проживают наркоманы, беженцы и бомжи. От площади Таксима и метро два километра пешком без тротуара, вокруг грязь и мусорные свалки. Окна выходят на развалины старых домов, комната грязная, затхлый запах в помещении. Приехали, посмотрели, забрали вещи и переехали в другой отель - HOMELIKE HOTEL. Заплатили 100% за 1,5 месяца до начала поездки, не провели в отеле/комнате ни дня и денег нам не вернули. Информация со стороны сайта AIRBNB по отелю/комнате не проверяется.

Jun 27, 2019you have tourist visiting you beautiful country, stop scamming them!!! Be real with the description of your property. I have pictures of the property and the so called view of the surroundings of the property taken from the window!! When the tourist actually fall in to your trap and want to leave, at least have the curtesy to call a cab for them. I would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy. Istanbul has beautiful properties surrounding taksim and istiklal.

Jun 27, 2019The neighborhood is a bit noisy and poor. On the other hand, the place was safe. There is a TV, we listened to music to start the day. There is WiFi but it doesn’t work in the inner room. The apartment was large enough for four person. There is a SOK (cheaper) and a nonstop shop nearby, so you can by elementary food, water there and there is a fridge as well in the outer room, it wasn’t noisy at all. We got clean towels, there was cleaning every 3rd day. İstiklal street is 7-10 minutes walk.

Jun 27, 2019Room was big and beautiful although the washroom and the kitchen was a little bit dirty. WiFi connection was weak in the room so we need to go to the ground floor to catch the WiFi. Good location, helpful staffs, overall we had a nice stay. Thank you.
Jun 27, 2019Although some wrote about the place being unsafe but myself and my mother stayed there for 6 days and had no issues at all. Plus the double glaze windows really help u to have a good sleep! In just 10 meters we could easily get taxi, istikbal st was just the other side of the road. The place has clean bathroom, sheets, comfortable beds. Serdar is very responsive. If you get any questions/issues he is there to help u.
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our stay with Serdar! He was extremely helpful and available when we needed him throughout the week. Taksim is not the area it once was, however the apartment is right next to the main high street as well as several "local" streets full of restaurants and bars. The room is in a hotel which is very safe and which was cleaned for us during the week...this was a nice bonus! All in all Serdar was very welcoming and friendly and we would recommend this hotel for a group of friends/ small family! Thanks Serdar!
Jun 27, 2019This is a nice small hotel, value for money. The rooms are good, but the area is a bit dusty. Very silent at night and very close to everything. This is real Istanbul in the not so rich part. The host Serdar is very helpful and his english is very good. He found all the missing bits for the kirtchen, except for some more chairs (only one in the rooms). We can recommend this.

They were very supportive and nice. we enjoyed our stay there. however, there can be some noises in the neighborhood at night or early morning. otherwise, it is a perfect place to stay and spend your holiday in Istanbul and the house is very close to Taksim square and many small restaurants and supermarkets.
