Excellent location apartment, I would recommend to stay here. Very good host and looks after his guests... Nice apartment with free wifi and easy access to the city anywhere.. Bus stops just few meters anywhere you want...
Jun 27, 2019Apartment is in a perfect location, within 10-15 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia and Passeig de Gracia, also 2 minute walk to metro and bus stops. Very clean apartment and well equipped. It was smaller than we had expected, in particular the bathroom which is quite tiny. The noise from the street was quite loud but this did not bother us, in fact the hustle and bustle was nice, but could prove problematic for people with difficulty sleeping or small children. The host gave us perfect directions and instructions for the apartment, we were very pleased overall.
Jun 27, 2019Great location, perfect for 4 people - the bathroom is pretty tiny but we only stayed for 7 nights and were barely there so it was ok. The apartment is close to many shops and metro stations, but also due to the Main Street right outside the door it can get a little noisy at night. We really enjoyed our stay though and would love to come back!
Jun 27, 2019Fantastic flat fully equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Good modern features like air conditioning but retained lots of period charm. The beds were very comfortable and the list of local restaurants to try was also really helpful. The flat is in a great location, just 10/15 mins walk to the centre of town and a taxi to the beach was only 8Euros. There's also a fantastic creperie right next door that does delicious smoothies! Thanks so much Fernando, we loved the flat and Barcelona, we'll definitely be back!
Jun 27, 2019Fernando and his staff were very helpful upon check-in and check-out, answering any questions we had. The apartment was in great shape, a couple floors up from street level, but still close enough to feel a part of the city. The Metro is only a few blocks walk away for getting to various tourist sights, and we would definitely rent this unit again!
Jun 27, 2019Love the neighbourhood, the flat's patio, and old charm touch. Very conveniently located and within walking distance to Gaudi's. Four of us stayed here comfortably and have no problem telling the taxi driver how to get here. Restaurants recommendation also very helpful. Thank you!

Jun 27, 2019The neighborhood and location were excellent. We were in walking distance to Sagrada Familia and about a 10 minute walk from nice restaurants and bars. Personally we liked the neighborhood more once we crossed over Passeig de Gracia. The apartment was as pictured and very clean. The bathroom was small but manageable and 3 of us fit comfortably in the apartment. We especially loved the roof top terrace! Very helpful that guide books were also provided in the apartment. Instructions on how to get into the apartment via key pad were clear and easy, which was helpful since we arrived late at night. The only issue was the key to access the apartment (which was recommended to use in addition to the key pad) did not work. We would spend 5 - 10 minutes each time we entered and left the apartment trying to get the door to lock with the key. We did call the number provided to us and reported the problem, and they responded right away and were very pleasant. They were unable to fix the lock before we left but I assume the problem has now been fixed. Other than the one issue with the key, the apartment was lovely and I would recommend it.
Jun 27, 2019We were made welcome and had occasional emails to check all was ok while we there which was reassuring. Everything was pretty accurate. The flat was comfortable and in a reasonably good location. It was sometimes noisy in the early hours of the morning - people coming back from clubs and bars I guess. The kitchen facilities were generally good. The bathroom was pretty small, but adequate. Living area was reasonable. Overall, for value for money in central Barcelona it was acceptable without being spectacular. The list of wifi connection options wasn't perfect (and wifi connection generally was a bit sporadic which was a problem for us sometimes as we were researching places to live for our daughter). We found that in other parts of Madrid the wifi was sometimes better, sometimes worse.
Jul 27, 2019The location was great. We loved that there is a market nearby with great bakery (wonderful croissant) and deli. Fernando gave us very detailed instruction about the apartment,the house rules and its animeties. It was particularly useful to have washer/dryer with English translation stickers. The air con and wifi worked fine. Fernando send us an American girl to greet us who answered questions and booked a taxi to the airport on our departure day. The apartment was big enough for two of us, has old charm but the bathroom was super tiny and rather old, so it may be challenging to stay for a long period. It is facing a busy street so there are some traffic noise as well.
Jun 27, 2019We arrived with easy instructions for access to the apartment. We were greeted later that afternoon by Marielle, who was very friendly and helpful. She was able to answer all our questions and make recommendations. Later questions were promptly answered by email. The apartment was great. It was very roomy for just the two of usand the location was perfect.
Jun 27, 2019I never actually met Fernando, but he was very courteous in all of our communications. He responded immediately to all of my texts and emails- I don't think the man ever sleeps! His staff was also great. I met both Azra and Marielle and they were very helpful. They will print tickets/boarding passes for you, help you get the layout of the city, and help quickly with anything else that you need. The apartment was cute and, in addition to sheets and towels, provided amenities that other airbnbs haven't, including dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, and lots of kitchen utensils. It was really nice to have the washer/dryer. The apartment is a little bit tight, except for the master bedroom which is very spacious; the pictures posted here are very flattering. The beds are really comfortable and the apartment was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location is good if you don't mind taking public transport to get to the beach and the majority of the sights. We like to walk, so it was a bit far from the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, and other attractions. However, you can always get a taxi from the front door, and they are pretty cheap, even to get across town. My only complaint would be the noise. Upon arriving, you will be assailed with warnings that you need to be quiet at night. If only the other tenants had the same warnings. The second bedroom has a window into the building's "courtyard", which is really a fancy way to say fire escape, and kitchen access for a restaurant in the building. It was extremely loud with drunk tourists, babies crying, dogs barking, whooshing water going through the retro-fitted plumbing, and the kitchen staff yelling at each other in all hours of the night. However, I would still recommend this apartment to others, just take your ear plugs.
Jun 27, 2019Although we never actually met Fernando his emails were always polite, courteous and helpful. We were given clear instructions on how to enter the building and apartment using pass-codes. Once we had the keys locking the door was a bit difficult as the lock was stiff but thankfully it held out for our stay. We found the location was good and taxis were very easy to acquire outside the front door. If we were to stay again however we would try to be closer to the gothic quarter as it has far more charm than the new town. As others have stated previously the apartment can be a bit noisy. We were only woken once by what seemed to be a group argument on the street. The rest of the time we did not have any trouble sleeping. Fernando had sent Azra to meet us and help us to settle in. She was very helpful and was extremely prompt with her replies. If there was a problem we were confident Azra would help us. It was great to have this level of security. The apartment itself is not as new as I had expected but then the price reflects this. The photographs are very flattering. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay as Barcelona is an amazing city.
Jun 27, 2019Fernando and his staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Not only were resources provided about Barcelona, good restaurants nearby, and travel guidebooks, they also helped provide a space for us to store our luggage for the day after we had checked out while we wandered the city before our flight. The apartment itself was beautiful - two balconies, comfortable bedding, and very clean. The shower was a little small, but worked well. The wi-fi was available and a good speed. The apartment was very centrally located and we spent most of our time walking from there to the waterfront, to La Rambla, to restaurants, and to Sagrada Familia. It was a wonderful stay and we'd recommend it to others! We were only two, but the apartment slept four - tons of space for a larger group.

Jun 27, 2019Minha sugestao para o anfitrião, dizer ele tem uma pessoa assina no nome dele, outra coisa o apartamento é antigo por fora e por dentro, pedi tivesse cafe da manha, mas no caso nao explicou, e tambem na frente do predio com obra, o valor cobrado fora do padrao, sem elevador ate o terreo, como disse nossa mala nem passava pela porta, e ainda tinhamos subir lances da escada com ela. Foi nossa primeira vez utilizando o Airbnb, e nao foi boa experiência
Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful time staying in The Balcony Apartment and I highly recommend it. Our family is two adults, two full-grown teenagers and it was the perfect place to stay. We were happy to be a bit removed from the crowds in the Barri Gotic--L'Eixample has a definite Upper West/East Side of Manhattan vibe and for architecture buffs there's lots of interesting buildings in addition to Gaudi's work. There are nearby metro stops and cafes and others have remarked about the market a few blocks away. A short walk down Passeo St. Joan toward the arc de triompf will land you in comic book store/manga heaven. Fernando was very easy to work with. His instructions were very clear and he was responsive to questions. The apartment is well furnished. Especially helpful were the travel books and maps. The beds were comfortable. As others have remarked, the bathroom is compact typical of retrofitted European apartment buildings, but it's clean, the water pressure and temperature are good and Fernando provided lots of towels. A big plus was the washer/dryer.

L'appartement correspondait en tous points à la description, il y avait plusieurs plans de la ville à notre disposition, ainsi que des cartes postales si besoin. Le quartier est proche de tout, nous appréhendions un peu le bruit le soir par rapport à la chambre donnant sur la rue mais dans ce quartier la nuit il y a très peu de bruit et de circulation, donc nous n'avons eu aucune problème.

Jun 27, 2019My experience was a easy and frictionless. I did not have to worry about the house at all, easy check-in and easy check-out. They provided us with a baby cot that reduced our luggage traveling to bcn.
Jun 27, 2019L'appartamento è comodo e gradevole, perfette le info che abbiamo ricevuto. Gli aspetti migliorabili sono il piccolo bagno che puzzava, gli asciugamani non pulitissimi (o forse vecchi quindi macchiati) e la porta che non si chiude con la chiave (abbiamo sempre usato il codice per entrare, ma la notte non ci sentivamo tanto sicure). Abbiamo molto apprezzato la cortesia di lasciare le valige fino alla partenza del volo. In definitiva il soggiorno è stato piacevole, la location è perfetta, a 2 passi da tutto e di fronte a un simpaticissimo affittabici che ha reso l'esperienza di Bcn ancora più divertente!

Jun 27, 2019This apartement is really well located. A lot of sighseeings can be visited just by feet. The rest you can go by taxi, which is well priced in barcelona and they make no difference between tourists and habitants. The apartement itself is nice. Just a tip: turn off the air conditioning in the night, if you don´t want to be sick next day :D Around the apartement there are also a lot of restaurants and shops. If you want to visit barcelona and want to see sagra familia etc., than this apartement is a good deal
Jun 27, 2019We loved our stay in Barcelona. The apartment was in a perfect location within walking distance from most of the sites. Lots of options for food, drinks and shopping. We stayed for 4 nights in September with our 15 month old son and loved it! The location was quite and family friendly. Hope to return someday.
Jun 27, 2019Appartment was very vell situated, but the noise from the street was a tiny bit irritating. Wlan was a tad bit slow but worked. The view from the roof terrance was amazing. The neighbourhood felt safe. There were some restaurants and cafes around, and a really good market hall.

Jun 27, 2019Great and pleasant location, easily accessible to the Metro station (4 min walk). Not far from Sagrada Familia (walkable) or central Barcelona. The house was clean and everything worked inside. Kitchenware and utensils available, lots of guide books about Barcelona and Spain, which we found very very useful as we didn't have any books. We arrived late into Barcelona, Fernando messaged us with instructions on how to get into the flat - as all the doors are key coded. Flat doors also have keys, so that you can dead lock the door aswell. We had absolutely no problems. We were also able to leave our luggage in the flat on the day of check out as no one had booked to check in on that day, this was a massive help as our flight to leave Barcelona was in the evening. Saying that Locking the door with the key was a problem. It was impossible for my girlfriend to lock it on her own, I had to do it all the time and it took a bit of force. We actually thought we were going to break the key on a few occasions. Wifi is 'workable' and is enough for the normal email and smartphone social media use. Anything major might prove difficult or slow. This apartment is on a main road- perfect for location, not so good for early morning traffic noise if you are a light sleeper. All being said, we would definitely stay again.
Jun 27, 2019Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Barcelona!!!! Die Stadt ist toll, die Wohnung sehr zentral, man könnte alles super erreichen. Fernando ist uns mit allem sehr entgegen gekommen, vielen Dank dafür! Leider war die Wohnung nicht ganz so chic wie auf den Bilder, das Bad und die Küche vor allem sehr unsauber. Wem das aber nicht ganz so wichtig ist, wird hier sehr glücklich.
Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay in the balcony apartment, which has a great location. We we're to adults and a two-year old, and the apartment was perfect for this constellation with the two bedrooms etc. The host was amazingly helpfull and all the logistics worked perfectly.
Jun 27, 201915 Oktober tot 18 Oktober 2016 We hebben het heel erg naar ons zin gehad in het appartement van Fernando, de Metro is ca 10 minuten lopen, maar door een super mooie en schone buurt, dus geen straf! Was voor ons de eerste keer Barcelona met Airbnb, was echt heel benieuwd hoe dit zou verlopen, we blijven namelijk Nederlanders he. Voor iedereen, gewoon doen !! je krijgt een code voor de ingang en Fernando geeft perfect uitleg hoe het dan verder gaat, het appartement is schoon met een prachtige vloer (al is wel alles het een groothoeklens gefotografeerd, maar dat is volgens mij alles op Airbnb Over Barcelona kan ik alleen maar zeggen dat het een hele mooie schone stad is met prachtige gebouwen, eigenlijk is het een super stad. maw top!
Jun 27, 2019I appreciated the great communication through email with Fernando and Lauren. Their directions ahead of time were kindly provided far in advance due to my travel plans. I was met on arrival by Eduardo, who was friendly and accommodating. The apartment is lovely. There was nothing we needed that was not provided. As my luggage was delayed by the airline, having a washer/dryer was so helpful My adult son and I enjoyed it as a very comfortable home base. The location is fantastic! Just a 10 minute walk from Sagrada Familia, and right in the middle of many restaurants, markets and shops. We walked to Las Ramblas and around l' Eixample neighborhood Cabs, bus and metro are all very close. I highly recommend this listing.

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento Balcony, por foto parece que está meor y parece más moderno. Pero visto es más viejo. .Principal pega, el baño, que es minúsculo, y el plato de ducha también pequeño. En cambio el apartamento Rooftop, si que tenía un baño más grande, y elçn general el piso estaba un mejor. La comunicación con el propietario en mi caso fue mala, ya que estaba fuera del país y sólo podía contactar con eeçllos por emial, quedandome casi 24h esperando contestación. Una vez contactas con ellos, aunque sea por email, muy cordiales. Puntos positivos: La situación, a 10' de la Sagrada Familia. Negativos: Baño muy pequeño, y comunicación con propietario.

Jun 27, 2019Nice flat rent for 3 days. The greeter is very welcoming and we appreciated he let us stay after the scheduled check out time. It can be quite noisy as it is located on a street with some heavy traffic in the morning. The kitchen already included all you need to cook (salt, oil, etc.). A bit smaller than seen on the photos, but the overall is positive

Рядом уютный старинный рынок, где можно найти свежайшие и вкуснейшие продукты. Потрясающий старый дом с аутентичной отделкой, при этом оборудован всем необходимым. Есть доступ на террасу на крыше, где отлично можно провести вечер с книгой или за тихой беседой. Ну, и конечно, веранда и балкон. Уверена, будете пить свой утренний кофе именно там. п.с. Удобный доступ в апартаменты, нет проблем или тарифов на позднее прибытие. Эдуардо всегда на связи и готов ответить на все вопросы/решить Ваши проблемы. Очень бережно отнеслись к нам в связи с нашим поздним вылетом: предоставили возможность задержаться и передохнуть вечером. Обязательно сюда вернемся! Autenthetic apartment with great location! There is a old market in 2 munutes walk where you can find fresh and delicious food. Sure you will have your breakfasts sitting on balcony and enjoy old buildings and sky. Apartment is clean and well-equipped. No problem with late arrivals. Eduardo is always online and ready to help you with any issue you have! Appreciate his care on our late leaving as well. Jun 27, 2019Really nice appartment in a central location. Grand view across the passage San Juan from the enclosed balcony. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. The traffic on the street below can be loud in the evening and the bathroom is very small and cramped. But we would stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019Highly recommend this apartment. We stayed for 10 days and it was the perfect location from which to see every part of Barcelona with ease on foot, cab or subway. Check out the great Mercat on Valencia about 2 blocks west for great fresh groceries.
Jun 27, 2019My mother, sister and i staid at the apartment for 3 days. the plaice was clean and gave a good homey feeling , the location perfect, 10min by foot from the center and 3 min from a metro station. fernando kindly advised us how to travel from the airport and it was a big help. i will come back and recommend friend to take this place on there trip to the city.
Jun 27, 2019Photos were a bit misleading. This place is one of many owned by this company and the personal touches were missing. Not dirty, but definitely not well kept. Location was great as long as you like to walk a lot. Safe neighborhood.
Jun 27, 2019Loved the central location. You may want to be prepared with alternative to wifi which is often challenging in EU anyway. Lots of little stores nearby for any little "needs". Be prepared for elevator access up a short flight of steps first.
Jun 27, 2019Muy buena ubicación, me iba a casi todos los lugares a pie. Todo funcionó bien: aire acondicionado, agua caliente, microondas, nevera, tv. Todo el procedimiento de llegada y salida fue muy facil. Me quedaré de nuevo cuando vuelva a Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Amazing location for seeing all the sites in Barcelona. Checkin and checkout couldn’t have been easier, they also let us stay a little later as we were running late. We could also leave our bags in the office just around the corner from the Appartment. Good value for money. Would recommend.
Jun 27, 2019Fernando's apartment is a lovely place in the centre of Barcelona and from the balcony you have an amazing view of the great architecture. From the terrace you can even see La Sagrada Familia. Despite not meeting him personally, Fernando was so pleasant and very quick to respond to any query we had, and the apartment was well prepared for our stay. We were able to walk to El Born, The Gothic District, Las Ramblas, La Boquería, etc. If you are in Barcelona, stay here. It's quiet, and cute, and secluded just enough, with the most attentive of hosts. Muchísimas gracias Fernando!
Jun 27, 2019Great location, easy walking distance to Sagrada Familia, etc. Secure and comfortable two bedroom apartment, with good size refrigerator, 4 burner gas stove, TV (didn't try to use it). Bathroom and shower are small but adequate. In good condition. Small balconies overlood the street. Roof top terrace.

The apartment was very clean and beautiful, with lovely tiled floors and a balcony overlooking the street. Fernando was very responsive and accommodating, and Madara (who checked us in) was very friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful stay. I highly recommend Fernando’s apartment!
Jun 27, 2019We (4 people) loved staying at this place! The whole apartment ist beautiful with mosaic tiles on the floor, high ceiling and big windows. It was beautifully furnished as well. Another plus is that the AC works very well and cools the whole place down which came in handy during the stay. It is located in a beautiful area with lots of cafes around. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to Sagrada Familia and it was very easy to get around the city from there in general. Our greeter, Madara, was amazing. We could check in early and she was always easy to reach and eager to help out with recommendations and questions. We definitely recommend staying at this lovely airbnb and if we'll ever be back in Barcelona we'd definitely come back to this place.
Jun 27, 2019Fernando and Lauren were amazing hosts! Every detail has been meticulously thought out from access, to amenities, local sites and food suggestions. The apartment is SO charming! Comfortable beds, a clean space, full service kitchen. And the balconies.....wonderful! So looking forward to using Fernando and Lauren’s properties for future trips!
Jun 27, 2019Fernando's charming apartment was a great place for us to begin our vacation. It was lovely waking up in the morning to views of Barcelona's beautiful architecture and walking to a cafe across the street for breakfast before exploring all that Barcelona has to offer. Fernando's place is walking distance to many of Barcelona's attractions, but it's in a neighborhood, enabling us to easily explore markets and restaurants outside the tourist areas.
Jun 27, 2019Fernando’s place is in a great area, close to passeg de gracia and at a 20 minutes walking distance from plaza de catalunya. Great coffee shops nearby! The apartment is old so don’t expect nothing fancy. Still, it is very charming and cozy! Be prepared for a really small bathroom and a bit uncomfortable double bed. Other than that the self checkin service is very convenient and the host was very helpful via whatssapp! Muchas Gracias!

Jun 27, 2019Очень удобное расположение квартиры. В районе много кафе и магазинчиков. Буквально в нескольких минутах рынок, где можно купить свежие продукты. Хозяева пошли на встречу (у нас был ранний придёт и очень поздний вылет) и мы смогли заселиться в квартиру сразу по приезду и оставить вещи до вылета в соседних апартаментах. За это большое спасибо! Очень понравилось, что владельцы вели себя тактично и быстро отвечали на вопросы. Лифт и близость к достопримечательностям серьезные бонусы! Квартиру рекомендую.
Jun 27, 2019Lovely neighbourhood and perfectly located in the heart of Barca! Pretty nice contact but the interior of the balcony apartment was disappointing: the bathroom is super super small and not very nice, the shower head was almost broken, the interior of the kitchen was rudimentary, it’s almost impossible to lie with to persons on the very small sofa ... we missed the feeling of being home - absolutely nothing in the fridge, just enough towels, cheap tablewear, grubby bathroom, Barca was awesome but the apartment overall was disappointing.
Jun 27, 2019Это прекрасная и уютная квартира, вокруг всё очень тихо, но при этом 5 минут пешком и ты в центре. До пляжа идти примерно 30 минут, но мы отдыхали в январе и прогуляться с дочкой и подышать свежим воздухом - милое дело! Хозяин очень гостеприимный, всё чисто и уютно. В квартире тепло. Спасибо тебе, Барселона, благодаря этой квартире мы почувствовали себя местными жителями и влюбились в этот город!

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed very much our Barcelona journey and this house is in a very good location and easy to access the city centre and touristic areas of the city. Very cute , comfortable and clean apartment. Every facility of the apartment like hot water, heating, kitchen and the electronic devices works without any problem. We would like to stay at this apartment next time in Bacelona again. EREN family from Istanbul
Jun 27, 2019Location is fabulous for walking to Sagrada Familia, Park Guëll, and even to the beach. Close to metro, great restaurants, and food markets. Cozy balcony to enjoy being in the city. The access to the rooftop terrace was a perk too!
Jun 27, 2019Good city location close to La Sagrada Familia, adequate and covers all the basic necessities. If you are an average sized person, it will be hard to move around the shower stall because it is very small. The second bedroom faces into a small courtyard where one can hear the plumbing noises of other tenants. WiFi was a bit spotty even though there were a lot of connections to choose from. Roof deck is nice, can see spires of La Sagrada Família. Overall, it met our needs, just don’t expect a lot of frills. Host let us check in earlier which was great and the clothes washer is a plus. You need to walk up a small flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Fernando was very responsive to emails.
