We are thankful that Pervaiz and Laena trust us to stay at their house in (Website hidden by Airbnb) is a large house with 2 bedrooms, each of them with bathrooms, 3 floors, complete kitchen and a garden in the back. For us coming from Europe, it was staying at a tipical Brooklyn house!!!! The metro is close by and it takes about 30-40min to get to Manhattan. The area is safe. We came by car and we could easily park our car in front of the house and leave it for our entire stay, very convenient. Pervaiz and Laena have 2 cats and we took care of them, our son (6 years old) was delighted to play with Lulu. Pervaiz was very resposive on emails prior and during our stay, this was very helpful as this was our first airbnb experince. Thanks to him, it was a positive one!

I was on vacation with my family, the apartment is a specious apartment in a classic Brooklyn neighborhood. I liked the neighborhood, it felt safe to me anytime I'm out. I liked that we could find everything around the corner. the subway station is very close (less than 5 minutes) which you can take to Manhattan on a single train. The host was very responsive to our questions and he tried to help with all of our needs. Something to keep in mind is that this apartment is the apartment where the host family live and they only rent it out when they're on vacation, so it will have their stuff in there.

Great base to explore NYC especially with kids. Staying in this part of Brooklyn added another dimension to our experience of New York. The house is very cozy and comes with a cat which our kids absolutely loved. Laena and Safia welcomed us and made us feel like old time friends staying for a weekend. This is (Email hidden by Airbnb) munication was easy and fast. Great place for a family with kids if you want a home away from home.

Must experience this gem for yourself. Even though the purpose of our stay in NY was for a funeral, the energy of the house was healing and comforting. Thank you!

The good: Location - pretty close to the subway, so great connectivity to NYC and beyond Adorable cat - Gigi, their cat was adorable. 5 stars for her! AC - we visited on a very hot, humid weekend. The effective and strong AC was a life saver! Kitchen: The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciate the fact that they were ok for the guests to use kitchen stuff. The bad: Cat litter/poop smell: The living area smelt of cat litter/poop for the whole of our stay. And there was litter on the floor. As cat parents ourselves, we didn't mind having the cat around, infact we enjoyed it. But having to spend 4 days smelling (rather trying not to) unchanged smelly cat litter was painful. Cleanliness: Dry splotch on the kitchen counter, used underwear hanging in the master bathroom, stained (looked like blood) pillow cover in MB, untidy backyard - nowhere as clean as the photos suggested. On the whole place was unclean and untidy, pretty disappointing. This is my first not so good experience with Airbnb, in our 8+ experiences so far.
