Jun 27, 2019Dana and her daughter were very professional and patient to check us in when our flight got delayed. They were there in person to make sure we had everything. The place is basic but comfortable, has a good air conditioner and is just a few of blocks away from the malls , beaches and the party spots. There is an extra charge for parking in the premises. We stayed there for one night before we took our flight had no complaints whatsoever.

The location is right around Waikiki beach and downtown, only a few blocks away from restaurants and shopping. The parking is available inside the building at an extra cost of $20/for every 24 hours

Jun 27, 2019Very good location close to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Dana welcomed us nicely. Pictures of the appartment are accurate. It´s really well decorated and organized. Please just note that there is no separation between the bathroom and the rest of the appartment. The parking lot for $20 per day is also very convenient as it´s not so easy to park the car downtown. I warmly recommend this place specially for the price!

Jun 27, 2019This was my first time using Airbnb and we had a wonderful experience! Dana was extremely easy to get in touch with and she responded to all of my questions and emails/texts immediately. She was readily available and worked with our changing schedule in a professional and kind matter. The room Was absolutely adorable! It was so nicely decorated, and even more charming in person. The room has an ocean view and over looks the pool deck area. It was a very easy walk to the main shops and restaurants in Waikiki! On a side note, she provided towels and had a hair dryer available, as well as hand soap and shampoos, which was unexpected! The bed slept two people comfortably and she also had water in a filtered pitcher waiting for us. We couldn't have had a better experience, planning on returning in the future!
Jun 27, 2019Dana's studio was a nice place to spend the night in town. All photos are accurate and it was clean and well equipped. As mentioned in a previous review, it is important to note the bathroom is not separate from the main room. This was not a problem for us, but could be for a couple whom may wish more bathroom privacy. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Dana was very sweet and responsive.
Jun 27, 2019Great location set back from the beach. 5-10 minute walk to get to the sand on the beach. Get the SpeediShuttle from the airport and they can drop you off and pick you up right at the door to the building. Wailana Coffee House is on the same street on the way to the beach. Stop there for the "All you can eat pancakes" with 2 eggs and bacon. $6.80. Then go sleep off the pancakes on the beach. Best day ever. Dana was great and easy to get a hold of once we landed. She met us out front of the building and showed us around the facility. The apartment is super clean and has a fantastic cross breeze with the windows open. We would like to stay here again and will be telling our friends about it!
Jun 27, 2019Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Waikiki. Dana's Apartment ist ideal gelegen. Man ist schnell zu Fuss am Strand und bei allen wichtigen Shops :-). Dana ist eine sehr aufgestellte und fröhliche Person. Sie hat uns herzlich begrüsst und war zu jedem Zeitpunkt erreichbar. Die Anreise war aus diesem Grund sehr unkompliziert. Das kleine Apartment ist sehr liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Das Apartment war sehr sauber. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.
Jun 27, 2019Everything was just like the picture. The apt. is small but very cute and very clean. The bed was comfortable but 2 more pillows would have been appreciated. The bath is semi-private and I might consider a curtain across that doorway. Shower is a little small for above average sized people. We didn't hear any neighbors. The building is a little tired, but that's not reflected in the condition of this apt. Plenty of housewares and small appliances. Location was close enough to the action in Waikiki to walk for those who are somewhat fit, but a very short cab ride. Dana was very pleasant and had good recommendation for places to eat. We only really slept there and it was just fine. We left satisfied.

Jun 27, 2019Our experience was fantastic! Dana was easily accessible via phone, and met us in the lobby of the condominium with the key at a time that was most convenient to us. The apartment was spotless, and the view was incredible! The whole place looked even better than the photos suggested. Furthermore, the condo is within easy walking distance from the beach. All in all this was an outstanding experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Es ist genau wie auf den Bildern, sehr hübsch eingerichtet, mit Klimaanlage, sehr sauber, etwas klein, aber genau genügend Platz für ein paar Tage für ein bis zwei Personen in Waikiki. Zu beachten ist, dass das Bad/WC (rechts um die Ecke) keine Türe hat... Die Lage ist perfekt. Im Monarch (das Gebäude ist für jeden in Waikiki ein Begriff) gibt es ein tolles Kaffee für Frühstück, das Gebäude ist bewacht, hat einen Pool, BBQ und Jacuzzi zur Mitbenutzung, ein kleines Lädeli und Take Away. Sogar eine Bar im Untergeschoss, für die die nicht weit gehen wollen. Ansonsten ist eigentlich alles gleich um die Ecke (Einkaufszentrum, Restaurants, Hilton Village, Strand...) Man hat vom 12. Stock eine tolle Aussicht! Wir hatten mit Barbora zu tun, Danas Tochter, sie war sehr sehr nett, hat immer sofort auf alles geantwortet und uns warm empfangen. Besser könnte es nicht sein, wir würden sofort wieder dort hingehen!!!

Dana's daughter met us on time, and showed us the place. She was very nice and always reachable. We loved our stay here! Thank you Dana and her daughter!!
Jun 27, 2019What a lovely room. Great location, great view, close enough to the water without being in the rat race. The room is exactly as described and the pictures do it perfect justice. It's cosy and homely, perfect for our one night stay, but wouldn't be unsuitable for a longer one.

Jun 27, 2019Dana's studio was clean and convenient for our short stay, about a 15 minute walk to the shops and beach in Waikiki. Even with the $25 parking in the building, this studio was a good deal compared to the other options in the area. The apartment had a lot of kitchen amenities that would be great for a longer stay too - like a small fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster oven and large sink.
Jun 27, 2019I love how cute this place is! What you see on the pictures is exactly how it was! Barb was very responsive when I had any questions about the place! She even showed me the areas that had free parking. Just pay attention to when you have to move your car before the tow away times. Otherwise there is a cheap $18 parking lot across the street. You are a close 3 blocks before the shopping area in downtown wakiki!

It is small (not a lot of room for luggage), but it was absolutely perfect for our first 4 days of married life. The building has an amazing breakfast spot (The Cream Pot) and secure parking ($25 a day).

The room is a little on the small side but what it lacks in size it makes up for in location. If you want to be in the middle of the city life of Waikiki this is it. So many things in walking distance. Dana was very nice and accommodating and made it a point to meet up with us and explain the ins and outs of staying on the property.

The apartment is located at the western end of Waikiki, with the major attractions only a short walk or moped ride (highly recommended) away. Overall a great stay. Mahalo Dana!

Dana is very accommodating as well! I realized I left something in her apartment just as I locked the door behind me at check out, and she met me immediately so I could be let back in to retrieve my belongings. Would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019This listing is LEGIT. the room looks exactly the way the pictures portray. it's very cute inside, and exactly what my husband and i needed for a couple of nights. The A/C kept us cool as we slept. Everything was clean, and we slept comfortably during the night. Dana was very sweet, responsive, and accommodating. She met with us on time, gave a very clear description of how to find her, gave us our keys, walked us up to the room, and provided very clear/helpful instructions regarding parking.

Jun 27, 2019Dana was a great host. She was very nice about accommodating our vague schedule. The rental is pretty close to the heart of Waikiki. We were able to get around pretty easily by just walking, which was nice because parking in Waikiki can be a nightmare. Speaking of parking, Dana was very helpful in telling us where we could find it. The unit was exactly what we were looking for, a clean place to crash after a day out and about. The one quirk is that there is no actual door to the bathroom. Since I was staying there with my girlfriend, it was a tad awkward. Overall, a great little spot to use as a home base if you're looking to check out Waikiki.
Jun 27, 2019The studio looks exactly as shown in pictures! My boyfriend and I only only stayed for one night and it was perfect. The unit is located walking distance to basically anything that you need and we left our car in the 24hours ($25 with hotel key). The unit is very clean and cozy and has everything that you need. Also on the 6th floor we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi! Cream pot located on ground level has great breakfast and brunch selections as well.

There is no door on the bathroom as a heads up. It is a very short walk to the beach and it is close to the main shopping area in Waikiki. It is very close to the Hilton Hawaiian Village as a point of reference. I would highly recommend this place.

Jun 27, 2019Overall, it was a great cozy small studio with the enough amenities (bathroom essentials, beach towels, mini fridge for water, small A/C). Dana was great at accommodating a time to meet with us for the room key. We met in the afternoon once for the first day, then after coming back from Maui, we met her at 10PM. The building itself is old, but the room is in good shape. The distance is convenient for anything Waikiki. As for parking a car, good luck trying to find parking in this area, if you can't then you'll have to cough up $25 for a overnight car stay. Laundry is available in the building and there's a couple of bars downstairs. I recommend this place to anyone staying in Waikiki while saving some budget to allocate towards eating and activities.

Die gemütliche Wohnung war sehr sauber, hatte eine gute Klimaanlage, einige Geschirrsachen, Duschmittel und Dusch- sowie Strandtücher! Die Lage ist supergut und zum Gebäudekomplex gehörte sogar noch ein Swimmingpool und ein Jacuzzi!

Even though I didn't cook anything indoors there's a portable stove provided if I choose to. Dana was very kind. She showed me around and explained to me where everything is and what's good around the area. I had a wonderful first time and first day in Hawaii and wouldn't hesistate to book for her studio apartment again.

Dana was very accommodating as far as check in times, and made sure we had everything we needed in order to ensure a comfortable stay. We really appreciated her clear and consistent communication via Airbnb and text message from booking to check out. The studio's accommodations looked exactly like the Airbnb listing, and I was happy to find that the place was stocked with everything we might need -- there's practically a full kitchen of mini appliances in there! The huge windows had a nice view of the ocean in the distance and allowed for an amazing cross breeze. I think it was a heatwave when we were there, so the window AC unit was also much appreciated. This was my first time staying in an Airbnb in Hawaii and certainly won't be my last! I would be open to staying here again for sure.

Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay! Unit was about a 10 minute walk from Waikiki's main strip which was convenient. The front desk was very helpful with our touristy questions like bus services and destinations. Great location if you're going to Hanauma Bay as it is just blocks from the start of the #22 bus which takes you right there for $2.50! Dana was a great host. Super friendly, prompt, answered all of our questions and made great recommendations. Studio is clean and has a laundry room in the building. Definitely sufficient for two people. Only thing that would have made it a perfect stay was how bright it got in the morning. For most people, that's a huge plus, and it is for us too... usually. But sometimes when you've been up for hours flying, you just want to crash and wake up on your own and without the help of the sun haha. But! That can be easily solved with a pair of those $3 eye cover things. But bring your own! I looked high and low all over Waikiki and couldn't find a pair! Bottom line, would stay here again and recommend. Convenient, clean, affordable and no frills, just the necessities.
Jun 27, 2019This place was fantastic! Dana was a great host and was very accommodating when we had a flight delay. The room itself is well decorated and comfortable. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach and major shopping areas. The building is also home to several conveniences - there is a convenience store and a little Japanese restaurant that has decent snacks downstairs. There is also a fantastic breakfast restaurant called Cream Pot that is an absolute must try. Overall we had a great experience and were sad that our delayed flight left us with only one day to enjoy here.

The pictures are are spot on - I really loved the care and detail taken furnishing this small space. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place with a central location. One thing I would mention as other reviews do not; there is no physical separation between the bathroom area and the rest of the space ie. no door. Not really an issue for showering etc., but going to the toilet . . . you better really know your sleeping partner! Other than that, very accurate listing and we'll probably stay again :o)

If you've stayed in Honolulu before, you know how rare that is. Dana was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with, and she made check in quick and easy. I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm traveling!

This apartment is exactly how it looks in the pictures, which we loved. The apartment is in the northwest end of Waikiki beach. It is within walking distance of the beach and tons of shopping and restaurants. The apartment can be a little loud due to outside noise but you have to expect that when you are in the city. Parking is available in the building but it is an additional cost. There is also credit card laundry available in the building.

Although Dana was busy, her daughter Barb was able to meet with us and there were no issues at all during our meet up. The place has clean towels, bottles of water, and a variety of toiletries. Would highly recommend staying here!

When my key got deactivated, she was quick to respond and send an email to security to allow for me to reactivate it. I enjoyed the studio and appreciated how clean it was. My only feedback would be for the curtains to be wider and easier to pull so that I don't feel like people can see through the gaps.
Jun 27, 2019My husband checked in and he states that she was nice and accommodating. The apartment fit the description and the neighborhood was nice. The only downside is that the apartment was in a building that was part hotel and private residence. When I arrived to the apartment , I was greeted by a strong stench of marijuana in the hallway which was an immediate turn off. The apartment itself was great, clean and just right for a short stay. It looked just like the photos and was within walking distance to stores and eateries.
Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Dana's space with my husband for one night in October -- what a special find! The location is very central to shopping along Kalakaua and near to Ala Moana Center. There is a great restaurant across the street called Cheeseburger Waikiki- we managed to hit both happy hours at 3pm and 9pm and had amazing service from Roman. There is also a smart car rental downstairs for $89/day (we didn't do it tho) and there is a 7/11 and ABC Mart downstairs also. So lots to do and many conveniences in the immediate building area. Also a cute breakfast restaurant and some other sushi spots, etc... As for the space- her photos are true and accurate. It is a good size, comparable to a hotel room. My husband and I had plenty of room for our luggage and we were very comfortable. The space is clean and decorated with modern comforts. There is a small fridge so if you are on an extended stay you could fit groceries. She also provides 2 bottles of water as a welcome. I noticed a kettle, coffee maker, hot plate and some dishes. There is a microwave and toaster oven. The bathroom is open concept (no door) so if you are traveling with someone, be sure you are comfortable with them! I loved the design. There is an armoire for clothing and beach/pool towels and bath towels provided as well as extra blanket/linen. There is also soap/shampoo/conditioner. The unit is run by a window AC unit. Because of all the windows, it was quite warm during the day. We opted to open the windows and the warm breeze felt amazing. The bed is also very comfortable-- it is a real bed (not a futon or pull out). There is also secure wifi. The unit is within a hotel/condo high rise. Laundry is available on the 5th floor but it is $$ and operates on c/c ($3.75/wash and $2.75/dry) The pool and hot tub is lovely and there are BBQs available too. Everyone in the building is super friendly. The elevators are a bit slow but it seems to be a bit of an older building. I noticed a fitness room and it seems things are slowly but surely being updated throughout the building. Don't be put off by the green walls of the building hallway or some of the smells. You get used to it and the unit is just such a gem! It is also super secure- we noticed security cameras everywhere, a key is needed to access the elevator and there is onsite security. Jun 27, 2019I stayed here for 5 nights during a conference with my husband and had a great time. The location is very convenient, walking distance to the conference center, the mall, the beach, etc. There's 24 hr security and a 7-11 as well as convenience stores just outside. You can rent cars in the lobby. The unit looks just like the pictures and is totally adorable. As others have pointed out, there is no door for the toilet so make sure you're okay with that if you are staying with another person. If you're showering at night, you may want to do it with the lights off (do-able) because there are gaps in the curtains and the windows are not reflective from the outside. Keep the windows closed when you're out and about because the room can become rather warm in the afternoons (there's a window AC unit). Dana was very accessible, friendly, and helpful and I would gladly work with her again.

I didn't even know it was there but wandered in and had a fantastic breakfast of souffléd pancakes, a new one for me.

The studio as presented in the description was precise! Very modern and clean. One drawback mostly due to the time of day we arrived was the room was stifling hot, but we opened the windows to air out prior to turning on the air conditioning. The bathroom does not have any doors so be cautious of you plan to share the room with anyone you're not that comfortable with.

Jun 27, 2019Dana communicates well. Responds quick. She was informative about unit. Smooth and easy. The unit itself is cute with very nice decor. All handmade by Dana herself. Unit has no door for bathroom or shower. And curtains all around room are thin. There is no door to divide shower and toilet. Parking not is not included but you're able to park in the hotel for $25/(website hidden) in unit but circulation isn't much. It gets really hot. Even with ac on. Hotel is convenient location. There is 7-11 and restaurants across the st as well as downstairs.

Jun 27, 2019Clean and cute little condo. Close to Ala Moana Mall and just a few blocks from the beach and Strip. We found parking within a block each night, but be prepared to move it early in the morning so you don't get a ticket. Or you can pay the 25 dollars at the parkade ( need condo key ). We drove around the island a lot, and it was a quick shot to the highway. It was perfect for a couple days stay. Nearby "Waikiki Brewery" attached to Cheeseburgers in Paradise was a life saver for low blood sugar after arriving. Didn't go back, but handy. Be warned, the lobby is home to a bar and lounge with some colourful characters (Which we didn't mind). But the condo is a cute oasis where you can't hear any of the music. Nice stay overall.

It is very close to the shopping area and beach as well as the Convention Centre. Dana was great with communication and even assisted my mum in getting her wifi set up :) I would recommend and would stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Cellphone reception in the lobby/building was a problem. It created a communication problem. We ended up waiting an hour in the lobby for Dana to return. No fault of hers. Condo was cute, clean and VERY warm. Owner(s) could SAVE money on their electric bill and make their renters comfortable if they would change the curtains to sun-blocking/energy saving curtains/blinds. There would be no need to run the window air conditioner an extended length of time.

The studio is exactly as pictured - just a couple small things to be aware of: if privacy is something you are sensitive to, there is no bathroom door. Also the curtains are pretty, but thin, so if light is somethinf you have a hard time sleeping though, bring a sleep mask. The building the studio is in is a bit old And outdated, but the 24 hour security was very nice to have. It is about a 20 min walk to Waikiki beach and about a ten dollar cab ride. Jun 27, 2019Dana was accommodating to our schedule and was on time to let us in to the condo and show us around, despite us getting caught up in traffic and being late. She was very nice and understanding, which made the experience less stressful. The studio was nicely furnished and in a great location. Everything was very clean and in working order. The front desk checked people coming in once it got later in the evening, which was an encouraging security-wise. We definitely enjoyed our stay. I'm not sure if I just didn't notice or what (and this is not a complaint), but as an FYI, there's really just a divider between the toilet/shower area and the studio. No actual door. So be comfortable with your partner. ;) Also, there are a lot of windows and the curtain panels, while lovely, were a little sparse, especially with other buildings nearby. One more panel per area would have been nice for privacy's sake.

As others have said, there is no door separating the living space from the bathroom so if you're sharing this unit with someone, make sure you are very comfortable with each other. The location is great as well, about a 15 minute walk to the beach. A few restaurants and a microbrewery are nearby. I cannot say enough good things about Dana and her studio. Very clean, beautifully decorated, A/C, wifi, beautiful views. The bathroom doesn't have a door but is behind a wall so you still have privacy. Jun 27, 2019This was exactly as advertised -- very clean, great view, cozy and intimate yet right in the heart of Waikiki with easy walking access to everything. Dana was very flexible with us about our arrival time (we were flying in that day) and met us right in front of the building with only about 15 minutes' notice as we were arriving from the hotel. This place is nicer than any of the hotels in the area would be, much more personable and more affordable, plus you're basically in a hotel building so you have access to great amenities such as the pool deck. Dana was very attentive and responsive throughout the reservation process, on arrival day, and when we checked out. Couldn't have been easier. I would recommend this as a great jumping-off point to explore Waikiki and Pearl Harbor (PH is not walking distance, but there is public transportation, Uber, taxis, etc. for pretty cheap). The apartment is nice and quaint, and looks very well upgraded compared to the rest of the building. This place satisfied all of our needs and we would likely book this apartment again.

Jun 27, 2019We booked the studio twice during our trip to Hawaii, staying 3 nights in total and it really was perfect for our needs. The studio is compact but well designed, and the white walls make it feel fresh. The studio also smells nice when you walk in, and was always extremely clean. It's about a 15 min walk to the beach and restaurants although there's a fantastic bar and a couple of great restaurants right across the road. Easy access to the airport too.

The fact that the bathroom doesn't have a door was fine for 1 night but I couldn't imagine sharing that space for too much longer than that without any privacy. Also, the curtains cover all windows but they are sheer so a lot of light comes through in the morning. The location is decent in Waikiki, probably a 10-15 minute walk from the main strip. We ended up renting a scooter for a day to easily get around and see the sites since we had such limited time in Honolulu.
Jun 27, 2019We loved this little studio apartment! It was perfect for seeing Waikiki and easily in just as good of a location as any of the Waikiki hotels that are not right on the beach. Dana is incredibly kind and will go out of her way to help you with whatever you need. I highly recommend booking here if you are looking for a less expensive trip to Waikiki or honolulu in general.
Jun 27, 2019Dana's aribnb was pleasant for our our 4 night stay. The building itself is both a hotel and condo so you'll see a mix of people. For the fee of $5 I was able to use the gym for all the days I was there. Parking was a bit of a hassle because the garage was $25/per 24 hrs or street parking where you would have to circle around the block a couple times and get up early the next day to pay for parking. Regardless it was like this at most hotels. The a/c blew cold and the room has everything we needed. The location was a 15min walk/7min drive to Waikiki beach and less than 10min to the mall. There are a lot of delicious restaurants nearby that are within walking distance and opened late. We would definitely stay again when we visit Honolulu in the future.

The location is great and is very close to Ala Moana shopping mall and Kalakaua Ave where the main road of Waikiki is. The place is clean and the bed is quite comfortable however bedsheets a little bit worn out. The unit has an air conditioner which helped us slept through the summer nights. The apartment itself is very cute and homey. It was a pleasant stay!! Will definitely book this place again! Strongly recommend this place!!
Jun 27, 2019We only stayed for one night but we had a pleasant stay in the small but cozy, and well-placed apartment. Dana was super helpful and present to answer all questions and everything went as smoothly as could be. One suggestion I would make is to install some kind of curtain or screen to separate off the toilet area, to give people a little more privacy in there.

The studio was so pretty and quaint, my boyfriend and I loved it! It's even prettier than the pictures :) The location is also so great, just walking distance from Waikiki beach and all of the main city attractions in Honolulu. Would definitely recommend staying here and booking with Dana :)

I would personally like to have a bit more privacy, haha there are windows all around, but I think that is personal :) Only little minus is the airconditioning, the works well, but is very loud! further more, I would definitely recommend this place!

The apartment is at the very beginning of Waikiki, so if you want a chiller place away from the crazy hustle and bustle, but still want easy access, this is the place for you.

Jun 27, 2019Es war ein toller Aufenthalt in diesem schönen, gemütlichen Studio. Die kleine Wohnung/Zimmer war perfekt ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage war toll und man konnte die Fußgängerzone und den Waikiki Strand super zu Fuß erreichen. Swimmingpool ist in dem Gebäude auch vorhanden. Die Kommunikation hat wirklich ganz toll mit Dana geklappt. Eine kleine Kritik habe ich, aber das betrifft eher das Gebäude. Das Hotel ist schon recht alt, daher auch die Fenster und man merkt es vor allem nachts, da wird es etwas lauter. Die Wohnung macht es aber auf jeden Fall wieder wett. Vielen Dank Dana!
Jun 27, 2019Dana's place is perfect for a person or couple staying in Honolulu. My husband and I stayed in the studio for a quick overnight in the city and really enjoyed this place. It was super cute with a great view, very clean, and well laid out for the size of the space. The bed was also incredibly comfortable! The check in process was easy and painless, and the security office allowed us to store our bags with them for a small fee. This was really convenient for us, as we landed early in the morning. The building is a quick walk from all the restaurants and attractions in Waikiki and there is plenty to do within a 10 minute walking radius. We enjoyed our stay in Dana's studio and recommend it for a trip to Waikiki.

Jun 27, 2019Overall a cozy stay! The apartment is clean and spotless. It is a small place but is a great value for money with the prices of Waikiki. I guess in Oahu you will be outside all day doing stuff any way! The owner was very friendly and helpful as well. Parking is $25 per day but except the first night, I did find parking on the street nearby for free after a little bit of search.

Dana did her best to direct us to the right place. The place is 25mins walking distance to Waikiki beach. It's small but very clean and private. If you are looking for a place that is just for yourselves, have high sanitary standard, but on a budget and don't mind walking a bit, then it's a great choice for you.

As described though I think the curtains could be a little longer on the ends as some folks from other buildings could peer inside the cracks. The bathroom didn't have the most privacy either but it was still very nice. The communication was great -- Dana was available by phone quickly as well. I liked that it was quiet and private, too!

The studio space is exactly as described, very clean and neat with nice views of the city and coastline. It's a corner condo so there is nice cross-ventilation. The bed was comfortable, good water pressure in the shower and nice amenities overall. We would highly recommend!

Wasn't super far from the airport and only took around 15 minutes to walk to Ala Moana Center which was great for a lot of shopping. Up until check in, she kept in constant contact to make sure things ran smoothly and never hesitated with any questions I had. The apartment does get slightly warm when the curtains aren't drawn but nothing the air conditioning couldn't fix. Even though I didn't get the chance to meet her, thanks for the awesome stay!

Jun 27, 2019Dana's apartment is lovely. The views are great and everything you need is within walking distance, including the beach! Uber can get you to anywhere else in Waikiki for under $10. The apartment is in an older hi-rise building but once you're inside it's a beautifully decorated modern oasis. We really loved it and because the price was so much cheaper thean the big resorts, we stayed an extra day. We will be back!

The condo is very small and it must be noted that there is no door on the bathroom, although there is a short wall separating it from the rest of the living area. There is a nice local bar in the basement and a nice takeout restaurant off of the lobby. We would definitely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019This place is all about location. It’s minutes from the beach and a short walk to Waikiki or Ft DeRussy beach, or easy bus ride to further sights (e.g., Iolani Palace, Diamonds Head). As a bachelor suite, the room itself was the perfect size for a couple looking to explore Honolulu. Inside, the décor is pretty and modern and makes a nice private place to relax after a long day of adventure. Though we didn't get a chance to use the pool (we were too busy exploring Honolulu), it looked well maintained and like a great place to relax. Outside, the building itself, which is both a hotel and condo buildling, is a bit dated. However, the staff are very friendly, and someone is always around – night or day - to help you in case your key card doesn’t work. Dana was also a great host, and communication with her was quick and easy!

Could do with some new curtains as it was impossible to get the room dark, which wasn't ideal when we were up early for the airport. Not a luxury stay, but still a handy place to stay at a reasonable price.

Jun 27, 2019This was my first time in Hawaii and I'm so glad I booked this flat. I will be rebooking in the future, for sure. It is centrally located, very cute, and about a 20 minute walk from everything. All taxis and Uber know where it's at and I had no problem getting rides around the city. Also, Dana is super cool when you have questions and is available (something not found in all places). I would recommend this studio for anyone who wants to be close to the beach but get a good night's sleep. It was perfect!

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I stayed in the unit for 4 nights. Dana is nice and easy to communicate with. She is responsive to any messages and provided advice accordingly. The location of the unit is close to convenience stores (ABC and two 7-11s) in close proximity. Easy walk to Waikiki beach and a 15mins walk to Ala Moana Mall. We did appreciate that the unit was furnished,had air conditioner and looked modern with tastefully decorated nice furniture and flooring. It was a clean unit upon arrival and brightly lit. However, we also note that there was no separate kitchen sink or toilet door. The unit is functional for someone who would be out for most of the time during the day as it can get quite noisy (can hear the lift sounds, other units slamming the door in the morning,siren noises). It was impossible to get the room dark as the curtains only blocked out some light but not all. Not as ideal for anyone who intends to sleep in or catch up on sleep during the day. The lift area and corridor leading up to the unit is quite dated and has a stark contrast to the unit's modern look. Overall, Dana is a good host and responsive and the photos do represent how the unit looks.

Jul 27, 2019Our stay here was amazing! The location of the studio is near the strip and was close to many freeways if you were deciding to rent a car. Parking is $25 a day which is a bit pricey so I suggest finding parking on near by streets! We were barely inside the studio, but when we were, it felt like home. Nice bed, tv, and AC to make you feel comfortable. In addition, Dana is a great host. Communicates quickly and helps you plan your trip accordingly!

Jun 27, 2019Dana was a Great host! She was very attentive and was quick to respond to any questions I had regarding my upcoming stay. Her studio was very clean and the decor was super cute! The studio was also centrally located in Waikiki, so you can walk to any desired destination. I literally walked from the Diamond Head crater, back to the building, after an early morning hike (lol). I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! You will not be disappointed! :-)
Jun 27, 2019Nice cosy little space. We did plenty of walking and exploring from the apartment. Everything was within a 20-30min walk, which was awesome. Pool, BBQ and spa area was great! Very family friendly and a good place to swim/relax. Would definitely book again :)
Jun 27, 2019Das Appartement ist wie beschrieben und super gelegen. Man kann eigentlich alles zu Fuss erledigen und ist auch schnell am Strand. Das Gebäude wirkt auf den ersten Blick nicht sehr einladend, aber das Appartement ist schön eingerichtet und sauber. Die Ausstattung ist gut (Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, kleiner Ofen, Duschutensilien, Tücher...). Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, dass das Bad/WC keine Tür hat... Das Bett ist bequem, sofern man es weich mag. Was man verbessern könnte: Nachts ist es trotz Rollos und Vorgängen recht hell, da diese nicht gut verdunkeln. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, es hätte ein paar mehr Haken, um feuchte Tücher etc. aufzuhängen. Dana selbst haben wir nicht getroffem, aber der Kontakt war sehr nett und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Alles in allem eine gute Alternative, wenn man nicht in einem Hotel wohnen möchte.

Jun 27, 2019Dana's place was as wonderful as described. Everything was clean and the AC cooled the place down nicely. We went to the pool for an early morning swim and used the storage for our bags on checkout day. Everything from Check-in/-out to communication with Dana was very smooth and friendly. We can highly recommend this place.
Jun 27, 2019- 전체: 전반적으로 나쁘지는 않았지만, 사진에서 만큼의 깨끗함과 화려함은 없었던 것 같아요. - 장점: 1. 와이키키까지 도보 10분, 알라모아나까지 도보 17분 2. 야외 수영장 + 자쿠지 - 단점: 1. 무료로 탑승 가능한 핑크 트롤리 승차장으로부터는 3 block 정도 걸어야해서 거리가 있게 느껴졌어요. 2. 수건을 갈아주는 곳도 있는데 수건 교환 관련 문자를 했을 때 답을 받지 못한 게 아쉬웠어요.

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed our short stay here and would recommend it to others passing through Waikiki. The location is only a short distance from the main strip but far enough that it's a bit more of a relaxed area. The space was clean and tidy and Dana was so great to communicate with. My only word of caution is that the bathroom area does not have a door, and with the small space of the studio some couples might find this a little uncomfortable.

Jun 27, 2019We were in Hawaii for a wedding which started at 4 PM on the day we checked in. Dana was extremely accommodating. She had the room ready early so we had enough time to get ready. This was a huge help. She also was very responsive for all my emails. The room itself is cozy, but perfect size for two people. Pretty solid views. Could see the ocean and the river. There is a hobbit-like breakfast place on the main floor of the building which had better-than-expected food. Great short stay!

The location is awesome, you can walk to the ocean, to Ala Moana shopping center .Dana was able to let us check in early which was very helpful and made our first morning stressless and enjoyable. Not to mention she is the sweetest - let us know we could check in early, gave local tips and dropped my jewelry downstairs that I left under the sink...! :) thanks Dana for a great stay!

Jun 27, 2019This self contained studio is good value . It is clean and has some cooking equipment if needed, and a good size fridge. The pool is clean and there is a Bar B Q and tables there too. There are a few places to eat out not too far from the building and a café onsite. The beach is about a 15min walk away.Certainly would recommend to anyone as a cheaper option than Hotels. Dana was good with communication from the day I booked and throughout. Checkin easy once I found the locked box below the foyer. I was on my own and felt safe at night.Thank you.

We enjoyed our time at the pool at the end of the day, which is open until 11 PM. This studio is SO cute -- I may need to hire Dana to decorate my future home! Would recommend staying here 10/10 :-)

Waikiki beach is just a 10-15 minute walk down the road and shops and great restaurants are also close by. Dana was so accomodating with our early check in and so helpful in all the information she provided us. We would love to stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Lage war super. Nahe am Zentrum in Fussnähe vieles erreichbar (waiki beach, etc) aber doch nicht mitten im getümmel. Stauraum eher wenig für 2 Personen mit Gepäck aber man kommt schon zurecht. Checkin & checkout war unkomplitziert, Dana hat uns sehr gut instruiert und informiert. Linke Liftseite verwenden, rechts ist nur für Hotelgäste.

Jun 27, 2019Der Check-in war sehr einfach. Das Gebäude ist recht groß sowie bekannt, also für Bus und Taxi kein Problem. Es sind ca. 5 min zum Strand (Hilton Hotel). Zur Shopping Meile sowie zum Waikiki Beach dauert es ca. 10min. Direkt gegenüber ist ein ABC-Store sowie ein 7Eleven. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die kleine süße Bäckerei, die direkt an dem Gebäude im 1. Stock leckere Dinge zaubert. Das Zimmer besteht aus einem großen Raum, Badezimmer ist darin, ohne Türe enthalten. Überall sind Fenster und Spiegel, was dem Raum groß wirken lässt und sehr freundlich. Allgemeine Tipps für Honolulu: -Mietet euch ein Auto, ganz günstig über Expedia und fahrt mit dem zum North Shore hoch. Man kann zwar auch mit dem Bus fahren (Tagesticket 5 Dollar), aber das dauert sehr lange und man weiß eig nie wann genau der nächste Bus kommt. Allgemein sind im Bus Minusgrade. -Den Dimond Head kann man nicht immer besteigen, wir konnten leider nicht den Trail hoch, da dieser nur am SA und SO auf war, was sehr ärgerlich war. -Auch bei Pearl Harbor ist es von Vorteil, wenn man ein Auto hat, da dies außerhalb der Stadt liegt. Es gibt auch Ausflüge die einen Transfer haben, aber dies muss man rechtzeitig buchen.

Dana provided us with all we needed and even bought us some weighing scales so we could weigh our luggage prior to our departing flight! Would 100% stay again. Mahalo Dana!

Jun 27, 2019Nice unit, central location, clean and tidy. Good price. Only down side was there was some conflict about returning the swipe key. Instructions were to leave it in the room when leaving but the lift wouldn’t work without swiping the key (despite the advice given by Dana). We locked the key in the letterbox downstairs when we left and Dana said it went missing and then tried to charge us $20 US. She was then very rude in demanding the money. We had a lot of problems with swipe key and had to have security change the key twice as it wasn’t working in the lifts or front door. Otherwise it was a nice stay and up until that point Dana had been nice and let us check in early. Wouldn’t stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Parking was very difficult. Drove around for an hour and a half looking for free parking on the side streets. Ended up giving up and paying the $25 to park at the building’s parking. Good location to Waikiki/nightlife.

Jun 27, 2019Thank you, Dana, for having us. It was the perfect stay for our first night in Hawaii! The unit was sparkling clean and the location was amazing. We were able to walk down to the beach in just a matter of minutes, and we had an unlimited choice of restaurants at our doorstep. We also found it very easy to catch public transport to/from the airport, as there is a bus stop just down the street. I would highly recommend a stay here :)

Jun 27, 2019Cute unit. Pictures are accurate. There are plenty of kitchen utensils and the microwave and frig are great. All kinds of cleaning products under sink and the shower is really nice. The AC helps because the room can get a little warm in late afternoon but cools off quick with the AC. One con but is not Dana’s fault. The neighbors slam their doors at night and it woke up us during the night so it’s best to wear ear plugs at night for minimal noise disturbance. Oh and the bed is a Full bed so it might be too small for a larger couple. Maybe Dana can think about investing in a queen size bed.... that would be awesome :) All in all it was a very cute unit and we were satisfied with it. Mahalo Dana :) -Annie and Andrew

Jun 27, 2019My partner and I enjoyed our quick overnight stay. Clean, comfortable and a short distance from the shops. Dana our host was quick and informative. You can no longer smoke within the complex (signs posted everywhere) however there was a smell of old cigarette smoke in the complex halls, not in the apartment room. This could be an issue for some but we were fine. Overall we enjoyed our short stay. Thanks very much Dana! :)

Jun 27, 2019Dana's place is a perfect home base for anyone visiting Oahu and wanting to explore Honolulu and the surrounding attractions. There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and it is also a 15-20 min walk to Waikiki beach. We rented a car during our stay, which was great for day trips around the island. The only downside is that parking in the garage costs $25 per day, and we found it difficult to find free street parking nearby. Overall, the location was worth it, Dana communicated very well, and the room was great for two people for a few days!

Jun 27, 2019Das Studio ist sehr zentral gelegen. In ca. 10 Gehminuten erreicht man den Waikiki Beach sowie diverse Restaurants und Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Das Check-in war unkompliziert und das Studio sauber und gut ausgestattet sowie liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist allerdings nicht extra abgetrennt vom Schlafbereich bzw. ist keine Tür dazwischen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Maleko Cafe gleich unten am Eingang, wo der Bäcker Mike in seiner Backstube viele leckere Sachen frisch zubereitet und wo es richtig guten Kaffe gibt. Wir haben uns in Danas Studio sehr wohl gefühlt und sind so perfekt in unseren Urlaub gestartet.

The space was well set up, but be aware there is only a microwave and small fridge, and the condo is on the small side. It suited us well for just a night and it was very close to the airport and convenient. Dana communicated well and was a good host.

The apartment was very clean and in such an amazing location - walkable and so close to the hub of Waikiki. We only stayed here for one night but would have easily stayed longer if we could. Recommend to anyone.

Jun 27, 2019Cute and cozy modern place to stay. Room was small but equipped with an dorm style apartment refrigerator with freezer and microwave. Nice touches and amenities. Even had body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. A/c and closed blinds made a huge difference! Nice room.
Jun 27, 2019Had a great stay at Dana's place. It was in a great location and so close to Waikiki. Room was basic but has enough that you need when staying even if you want to make a meal or two. The only comment I have is that the bathroom was a little odd, with no separation of the toilet and the rest of the room. This left no privacy for the bathroom area if you aren't alone. Even adding a curtain would have added more comfort. Overall had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Dana’s place was good value for money and only a short pleasant walk to the main part of Waikiki. Check in was smooth and the room was lovely. The only thing is that the curtains were not very dark so perhaps keep that in mind if you are travelling from a different timezone and need to sleep in the day like we did :)

Zum berühmten Waikiki Beach ca. 900 Meter Fussweg. bestes Frühstück im Cream Pot (im gleichen Haus). 2x sehr gut und mit tollem Ausblick auf der Dachterasse von Tommy Bahama gegessen (ca. 500 Meter Fussweg). Check-In und Kommunikation mit Dana war unkompliziert. Wir haben die kurze Zeit in Honolulu sehr genossen!

Jun 27, 2019Dana put a lot of detail into her place. Very clean, city chic design, and a great view. The strip is just a few blocks away, but if you don’t want to walk, Uber or Lyft can easily fix that. Parking garage was a little hassle to get to, but everyone was nice.
Jun 27, 2019So happy to find this place!! The location was very convenient, and the view from the room was awesome. I stayed there with my husband. We only had one card key so we were taking a risk of lock out. We had being very careful so that never happened. Also, you need a card key for elevator (to go up to the room), and that would be a bit inconvenient if 2 guest staying at the place. It’s hard to find a street parking after the evening, but you have a parking space ($25/day), so you don’t need to worry about it too much.

Jun 27, 2019Great little appartment in Waikiki. Much smaller than we expected. The bed was good, but a bit small as well and matress is very squicky. Would recommend to offer beach towels for guests. But overall very good, short 15 min walk to the strip with restaurants and shops. And the view from the 12th floor is very nice!

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I had a quick 1-day layover in HNL, and this was a great place for us to stay! Very cute and stylish studio! Many amenities were provided which made things very easy for us so we didn't have to unpack much. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Beach and the Waikiki strip (shopping). Lots of great restaurants nearby (and cafe downstairs)! Only 20 minutes from the airport by car. One thing to note is that there is not a door to the bathroom area which I didn't realize ahead of time :) Overall, a great and comfortable stay! Thank you Dana!!

Jun 27, 2019Small but clean place. Stay here if you want to save money and plan on only coming back to sleep. Bathroom doesn't have a door which means if you are traveling with a significant other, you will hear everything . The average hotel price in Honolulu is double what you will spend here so keep that in mind. I didn't see any critters in the room itself. The building feels kind of sketchy but the room itself is fine. Part of the building is a motel and there are shops on the lower level.

Jun 27, 2019My boyfriend and I stayed at Dana's place within the Hawaiian Monarch hotel. The location is great and is within walking distance (approximately 1 mile) from Ala Moana as well as other shopping centers, restaurants, and lots of tourist destinations, and within this particular room, the panoramic view is amazing. We particularly loved the Maleko Bakery downstairs on the same floor as the lobby. The owner bakes homemade pastries for the morning and makes pizza at night -- though we only tried the breakfast offerings namely the delicious scones, muffin, and drip coffee. If you want to venture outside of Waikiki towards areas like East Oahu and the North Shore you should definitely rent a car. Our friend who also stayed in the Monarch paid $75 for 3 days of parking with in/ out privileges. One thing to keep in mind is that while Dana's condo is newly renovated and stylish, the entire building is much older.

Jun 27, 2019This cute studio apartment was great for our short stay in Oahu. There was tons of light as it is a corner unit and has windows all around two sides. It has a great view of the pool and city . The small fridge and microwave ( a toaster and blender in the cupboard) helped us with breakfast and lunches. We’d definitely stay there again!

Jun 27, 2019The room is beautiful, my gf very liked it. Great location if you want to explore Waikiki and walk to Ala Moana shopping center. Good view, cleanliness, and had a pool. As we arrived earlier than expected Dana let us check-in 45 minutes earlier) Just one that thing I would mention is that a bathroom doesn't have a door, so if you aren't close with your partner can be a little uncomfortable. But in general the deal is very good! Would totally recommend for this great price!

The curtains don't fully cover the windows, though, so I suggest adding a few panels so that people can't see in.

Jun 27, 2019This was a great spot for us to spend an overnight layover in Honolulu. An easy walk to the Waikiki shopping area and beach, close to great restaurants, and super clean space. Warning: no bathroom door, so if you’re traveling with more than one person, make sure you are comfortable with that! We loved Waikiki Brewing in the adjacent block and Goodys for breakfast just down the street. Dana made checking in very easy and had great recommendations for us for restaurants. Would recommend if you need a simple and affordable space.

Jun 27, 2019Dana's place is perfectly situated close to all the Waikiki attractions. It's a great place to stay if you're looking to hang out in the area without having to walk too far to anything. The studio was the perfect size for my friend and I (2 small asian girls) and we had plenty of space for our luggage and to move around. The bedding was super comfortable, the air conditioning made the room very pleasantly cool and the bathroom shower was nice and hot. Not much else you can ask for really! The only thing, which Dana does make very clear, is that parking is a challenge (as it is everywhere in Waikiki). Free parking is not available in the building so you've got to go hunt for it on the main road (which is very difficult) or you pay a "discounted" rate of 25 USD a day to the building if you show them the keycard.
