My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Pittwater Paradise. The accommodation was spotless and we were delighted to receive a welcome gift from Evelyn consisting of wine, fruit and muffins. The kitchen was stocked with essential items such as milk, juice, tea, coffee, butter – really a nice touch. The view over Pittwater was lovely and relaxing, and the proximity to shops, beaches etc was fantastic. Evelyn was a wonderful host and more than happy to suggest dining options and other activities to do whilst on the northern beaches; the house manual was also very informative. We really had the best time and hope to return one day!
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was amazing. The views were wonderful - sunset overlooking Paradise Beach is breathtaking. The apartment had all the amenities we needed and we were more than comfortable during our stay. The beaches were easily accessible, but the pool was a good alternative for when we didn't feel like leaving the place. Furthermore, Evelyn was an absolutely sweet and kind host. Her and her family live just upstairs, but were not intrusive at all. Evelyn made every effort to ensure we were happy and looked after. Thank you for having us!

Jun 27, 2019A beautiful apartment in a beautiful part of the world! Evelyn was vey helpful and responsive, willing to help us anyway she could to ensure an enjoyable stay. When we arrived, she gave us a quick tour and then left us to make ourselves at home, but was just a quick call away if needed. A bowl of Fresh Fruit, Tea & Coffee, Yoghurts in the Fridge and a bottle of Australian Red wine (which didn't last long) were left to welcome us. The area is very peaceful, but only a 20 minute walk to the shops, cafes & beach of Avalon, from where you can catch a bus for the short trip up to Palm beach. I strongly recommend taking the walk up the Barrenjoey Headland. The views up by the lighthouse are spectacular and made for the ideal setting for my marriage proposal..... and she said YES!!! The perfect end to a perfect weekend away. We will be back! Thank you Evelyn x

Everything was so close by, with so many lovely beaches to visit and a pool to swim in when we just felt like lazing about. Evelyn was a great host. Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Pittwater Paradise for our wedding. From the get go, Evelyn was so accommodating and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. I got ready at the place before the wedding with my bridesmaid and Evelyn even invited us to take some photos on her upstairs balcony The bed was super comfy, shower was great and we really had everything we needed. we will definitely be back one day! It was just perfect! Thank you Evelyn - you are so kind (we enjoyed the champagne too!)
Jun 27, 2019Evelyn was great about communicating with me. Everything was like the pictures, if not better. The open, airy feeling of the place was more than a photo could capture. It was quiet and serene. We slept well and enjoyed the peaceful environment. Avalon is a quaint town with much to offer in dining and shopping. Evelyn was very helpful in recommending lovely dining experiences, including a splurge at Jonah's Whale Beach. Go there, even if only to have a drink and take in the view! We will definitely rebook with Evelyn, as it was a perfect getaway.

Jun 27, 2019Evelyn was a very welcoming and mindful host. She greeted us with warm hospitality (and even a bottle of wine and some fresh fruit). Evelyn was very prompt with her communications and flexible with our check-in and check-out times. The space is the lower level of her home which is completely private with separate access, complete kitchen facilities, ensuite and sauna facilities. The view of the pool and the water in the background was a beautiful sight to awaken to in the morning. The surrounding beach areas and points of interest are easily accessible from the property. Evelyn's place is definitely a piece of paradise - the perfect setting to unwind and relax, which is exactly what we needed.

Jun 27, 2019Great little spot, just as described in a beautiful part of Avalon. Evelyn was excellent in communicating with us and her partner was extremely welcoming with lots of tips for our stay. We had a car but the shops and main beach were in walking distance. The rooms were very clean and we appreciated the tea, coffee (and wine!) that was provided. I loved spending our last day relaxing by and swimming in the pool, the views from here were spectacular. Thank you Evelyn for such a fabulous experience, I highly recommend it and would love to return :)

Reluctant to put such a positive review as I want this to be just our secret but too good not to share! A must for anyone who wants to spend time in Avalon, Palm Beach or Whale Beach. Evelyn was a great host and though she was on holidays at the same time she still responded in a timely manner and was very welcoming and hospitable.

The apartment was as described and provided every comfort we needed. We loved the local area, lots going on in Avalon which was an easy walk away. My partner and I stayed at Pittwater Paradise over our wedding weekend and Evelyn went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. All previous comments about the amazing views, great location and excellent host are fully justified. On our wedding night we were very touched to come home to a chilled bottle of bubbly. Jun 27, 2019Beautiful, clean and tidy property. The view over Pittwater is amazing (and uninterrupted). Being the middle of winter we didn't get much use of the pool. Although the cold didn't stop one of us from jumping in! The property also had a sauna which was an added bonus. Evelyn was an amazing host in being flexible with check-in/out times and was not short on tips and suggestions on things to see and do in the area. Having a car was helpful to be able to get from A-B, however Paradise beach and Clareville Kiosk are all within walking distance.

Jun 27, 2019Evelyn's apartment is real oasis of calm and luxury. Absolutely perfect for a relaxing weekend. Evelyn greeted us with all the local tips and a nice bottle of wine! All one really needs to do is open the giant patio doors and sit back to enjoy the stunning views out over the swimming pool to the water and national park beyond - bliss. The apartment is finished to a very high standard and also has a sauna to relax you even further. We had a wonderful day following Evelyn's tips with a walk up to the Barrenjoey lighthouse for breathtaking views, a delicious brunch at The Boat House sat right on the water, a cocktail at Jonah's looking out on the ocean and a gourmet dinner at the Clareville kiosk (only minutes from the apartment). We will be telling all our friends and hopefully will certainly come again soon.

The place is just as by the pictures, the view is very impressive and the swimming pool, completely private for us, although quite cold at that time of the year, was worth a dive in! Evelyn did all to make our stay very confortable, and accomodate the place for our ten month old!

Jun 27, 2019We spent a wonderful weekend in a clean, spacious, well equipped, quiet, beautifully presented apartment. The views are gorgeous from the apartment and the pool, beach towels provided, we enjoyed a swim on each of our 3 days. It was lovely to hear the birds, watch the boats, enjoy the view from the whole apartment, we didn't like to leave, but enjoyed some nice walks around the area and a swim in the "Pittwater". We were lucky to see two stunning sunsets, the weather was fantastic so we decided to self cater...takeaway on our second night from the lovely little Indian Restaurant 5 mins walk down the road. ..couldn't get a better seat with views to match. We didn't meet Evelyn, but we had good communication prior to our stay, and keeping private suited us, thank you Evelyn, we will tell our friends and be happy to return!

This truly was paradise away from the busy life we lead in Sydney. Jun 27, 2019We knew there were many beautiful places to visit in the area but the apartment and it's aspect were so stunning we spent almost all our time there enjoying the view and the pool. It was only a short walk to an intimate little Greek restaurant, a bottle store and a grocers shop - and to the most aptly named Paradise Beach. Couldn't have wished for better. Superb. Our expectations were high. They were exceeded. We're already planning a return trip.
Jun 27, 2019We had an amazing two nights at Evelyn's place. We booked a few nights before the trip and Evelyn accepted our booking and communicated promptly. The weekend temperature was in the high 30's and the pool was a refreshing retreat from the heat. The beaches around the area are amazing as is the view of Pittwater bay from the room. Evelyn's recommendations of restaurants and cafes was extremely helpful and we enjoyed every single one of them. Once again thank you Evelyn for allowing us into your home.

Jun 27, 2019Evelyn and Anthony are wonderful hosts. Always available and approachable while at the same time totally respecting one's privacy. Helpful with tips on local to dos, very hospitable, flexible and proactive (e.g. towel and linen change during our 10 days stay). The place itself is a great choice as well: stunning views over Pittwater Bay, fully equipped and tastefully furnished. It is located in absolute proximity to two beaches; Avalon with the ocean beach, its shops and good restaurants is in walking distance. To sum it up: highly recommended, we would visit again anytime.

Jun 27, 2019Evelyn's apartment is just perfect , its clean and tidy and nicely decorated. It is very easy to get about the Northern beaches from where the apartment is. The views from the balcony are beautiful and its wonderful to wake up each morning to such a gorgeous view. Evelyn is a fabulous host and she will go out of her way to help you make the most of your time in her apartment. Its easy to get around but its better to hire a car as it takes about 30 mins to walk into Avalon but once there, its a lovely little place to wonder round and to have a nice meal (we highly recommend Yoda if you like Thai food) there is a little bar called The Mill which is nice to have a few drinks in (Happy hour is 5-6pm). All in all we had a fabulous time and we defineltly will be going back .

Jun 27, 2019I enjoyed my stay in Pittwater. The arrival was seamless and owners were very accommodating. Short walk to Avalon beach where you can find a grocery store and many cute shops. If you are traveling during winter, I recommend packing warm clothes because it gets chilly at night (I had no idea how cold it could get). I also strongly recommend purchasing groceries to have in hand.

The pool and the view are fabulous, you can easily stay in but the property is also located close enough to Avalon, Whale Beach and Palm Beach that going out for dinners and lunches is also easy.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed here for 2 nights in March in Evelyn's place. It's a beautiful self-contained apartment and pool with amazing views over Pittwater. It's in such a peaceful location and is within 5min walking distance to Paradise beach, the local corner store and restaurants. You are also a 2min car ride away from Avalon - which has a stack of cafes, restaurants, banks, gift stores and a big supermarket. The rooms were a great size and the place was super clean. Evelyn personally greeted me upon arrival and had many recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. There was also a nice bottle of wine waiting for us to make us feel extra welcome. Evelyn's place is the perfect place to hang out and relax or to use as a base to explore all the spectacular northern beaches (e.g. Palm Beach, Whale Beach, Avalon Beach, Newport Beach). I would recommend Evelyn's place to any couples looking for a relaxing bush and beach retreat. My only regret is not staying there for longer.

Awesome Wholefoods cafe within walking distance of the house that we visited 3 days in a row for brekky (best smashed avo ever)!! Evelyn and Anthony provided a bottle of wine to welcome us which was lovely. As there is no oven in the unit, Anthony was kind enough to let us use his oven upstairs one night. Not a lot of phone reception in the area but the property has great wifi included! The bed was super comfy and shower pressure was awesome. Thanks :)

Jun 27, 2019Evelyn's place was stunning. Very thoughtful touches in the rooms, including a bottle of wine to enjoy! Avalon had incredible food and coffee, and palm beach was a great place to explore. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Avalon, but well worth the walk. Transit is also very easy to get to/from the home, including trips to Palm beach and Sydney. My girlfriend and I had thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come back!
Jun 27, 2019My husband and are just back from Evelyn’s place. We had a lovely time, it was just like the photos, a very simple but tasteful design. The veiw was amazing and loved wake up to it every morning. Evelyn is so nice if there was anything we needed all we had to do was knock on her door.

The place is truly worth the label "AirBNB plus" as it has everything one could dream: spacious and light filled living room, comfortable bed and bathroom, amazing views, pool and sauna... We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!

Jun 27, 2019A glorious water view is what you can wake up to, and Evelyn is a respectful and gracious host. If you are looking for a launch pad to the beaches, this is a great pick. Unfortunately no full kitchen, so plan to eat out!

Jun 27, 2019Evelyn was a wonderful host. The location was beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. The internet and phone reception is a bit patchy which may be a problem for guests who need to keep in touch with work. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Jun 27, 2019A great retreat with a lovely view and pool. It was exactly as expected and we had a lovely stay. The only faults are that WiFi and 4G access are poor, and the kitchen does not have an oven.
Jun 27, 2019Fantastic Airbnb stay. Was easy to find, easy check in. Great location and lovely space. Comfy bed and couch, plenty of kitchen utensils, pots etc. for cooking. Avalon is a nice quiet area and very pretty with a charming township.

Jul 27, 2019This is a cosy place that is well equipped and has a stunning view. We really enjoyed the pool even when the weather turned rainy. Despite the accommodation being underneath the home of the hosts we felt we had plenty of privacy especially since the pool is overhung by the second story verandah. Phone reception (we're with optus) and WiFi a bit patchy but we got by. Would love to stay again.

Jun 27, 2019Magnificent views of the bay and a warm host made me feel very relaxed . Having your own private pool with and access to well secluded beaches was a big draw card as well.
Jun 27, 2019Fantastic self contained unit with great views over the pool down to the water below. It’s an easy downhill walk to Clareville Beach/Clareville Kiosk and a short drive to a number of great beaches including Palm Beach. Avalon town centre & beach is close by (2 minute drive or a pleasant walk) with all its cafes and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!
Jun 27, 2019Evelyn and her husband were amazing hosts. Their apartment is clean and spacious. We loved having the pool and the sauna in the apartment and there is an incredible view of the sea. Our location was perfect with many of the beaches nearby. Overall an incredible experience, I would highly recommend Evelyn's apartment to anyone.

Jun 27, 2019This place is AMAZING. The photos don’t do the place justice. We stayed here for 5 nights with our 3 month old baby and it was the perfect place. It is clean and the private pool with gorgeous views made it so relaxing. It has a stove, microwave and little fridge for when we wanted to reheat food. It’s located well with a short 3 min walk to the Forage cafe for excellent morning coffees and short 10-15min drive to Palm Beach for seeing the Lighthouse and dining at the Boathouse or Jonas at Whale Beach or even Bert’s at Newport. Evelyn is a great host and we can’t wait to stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Thank you for sharing your home. The privacy was outstanding with check in greating only but available if needed. We loved your towels and linen, they were a very nice touch. Your view was priceless and the atmosphere was very relaxing with a touch of luxury.
