I think the good experience of our staying started with the initial commutation with Alaina, she always responded to me quickly. We arrived a little bit late than we planned, and it was cold, she was not there, but her friend was waiting for us outside of the apartment building and gave us a warm greeting and drop off the keys. Alaina left us a sweet note with yummy homemade cookies and a bottle of wine, we felt more than welcome to stay in her apartment. The room is clean and neat, and the towels are soft with freshing smell. We had the entire apartment for all the time we stayed there, it was quiet and comfortable. The area is safe and the apartment is about 3 minutes walking distance to the subway station, it is easy to get to Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. It was a great experience staying in Alaina's apartment and she is such a wonderful host. It is our pleasure to be the first guest to write the review for her, and for sure we will stay with her next time when we are in New York. Thank you Alaina!

Jun 27, 2019I enjoyed my stay at Alaina's apartment. I didn't meet Alaina, but communication was not a problem, and she has an easy system to retrieve the keys. The apartment was very clean, very reasonably priced, plenty of room (for NYC) and has a great shower. I hope to stay there again. It is a three floor walkup.
Jun 27, 2019Alaina's place was great! It's up three flights of stairs, so be prepared for that. And the neighborhood can be a little noisy, but the apartment is on what appeared to be the quietest block around. Alaina takes great care of the place, and she was always responsive when I had questions. The coffeemaker was clutch too.

Jun 27, 2019Apartment was clean, orderly and very neat. Bedroom was basic but comfortable. Alaina was a very conscientious and considerate host. Overall a very good value.
Jun 27, 2019A very lovely space in a beautiful apartment building! Great location, minutes away from the subway and a short walk to Dyckman Street where there are a lot of bars and restaurants. The space was clean, comfortable and very welcoming as seen in the photos. Alaina was not available over the weekend but was very easy to contact and very efficient in her responses. Would certainly recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Really enjoyed my stay at Alaina's home during my short visit to New York. Clean, cosy and very airy apartment in a typical prewar building. Clean bedding and pair of towels were provided. I would recommend this apt to anybody looking to experience an uptown Manhattan living.

Jun 27, 2019The appartment was very easy to reach. Subway trains are just 5min walk from the appartment . There are many grocery stores in just 2min walk. You can reach NYC with in 30min!! The host(Alaina) was very helpful. There was a good flexibility regarding check-in and checkout timings . The appartment has got all the facilities. Though appartment was small,it's is very good for 2 people. I would surely recommend others about this appartment.

Jun 27, 2019Very cute and nicely arranged appartment. We loved our stay. Warm home for New York's cold winter. Close to the metro station, take A and you'll be downtown in no time. Host was very helpfull and friendly. Worked great for picking up key as well. I warmly recommend this lovely home.
