Untill this time i will be happy to host you. -The room has a very comfortable double-bed, a wardrobe. -Although the flat is right in the middle of the city, the street that the apartment located is very quiet and peaceful. It's 5-7 minutes-walk to the metro station and the second-oldest subterranean urban rail line in the world after the London Underground. Just 5 minute-walk to the bus station. An "Istanbul Card" which you can use for your public transportation is provided. Make sure that all the famous night clubs, bars, cafés, restaurants; and most of the historical places are walk distance away. You'll enjoy Istanbul nights and days and come home safely. -Whole eq
Neighborhood Overview
Because the district is very important part of Istanbul in the sense of people from different cultures and nationalities, and also the living neighbors in the building are from different countries as well. So you can have the chance to see very different cultures at the same time while you are enjoying important historical part of Istanbul.

Pinar was a great host. She suggested the best way from an airport, came to pick us up to the bus stop and helped with orientation in the city. Her apartment is absolute spot on for two persons near Taksim square and Istiklal Street area. Still has easy and quick access to get over the Bay to Sultanahmed.
Jun 27, 2019Pinar is a great host, she was there to help with any questions I had. She even waited 2 hours for me when my bus from the airport was stuck in traffic. The apartment is very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood makes it easy to get around Istanbul. I really enjoyed my stay here.
Jul 27, 2019Alles war hervorragend gut. Pinar hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet für 2 Personen. Wir haben uns sehr zu Hause gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist an einer sehr steilen Strasse und man muss gut zu Fuss sein.
Jun 27, 2019My girlfriend and I stayed in Pinar's sweet house. Every thing is perfect. And she is so kind. We had some luggage problem in Istanbul airport. So we arrived her room later than we expected. But she was waiting with beautiful smile and helped us. Second day, we forgot to bring our key. But she came by taxi and solved our problem perfectly. Both her room and she are perfect. Thanks for her, we made wonderful experience inIstanbul!!! Thanks :)
Jun 27, 2019Pinar is a very careful hostess. Her flat is comfortable, clean, well located with small shops around and bright. Our stay there was a great pleasure. Pinar est une hôtesse très attentive. Son appartement est confortable, propre, bien situé à proximité de petits commerces et lumineux. Notre séjour a été un grand plaisir.

She was a great communicator from the moment of booking, gave great details for finding the location of the flat, and provided great suggestions during our stay. The flat was spacious and clean and the neighborhood was perfect! We felt very safe walking around both day and night. There are some big hills to and from the place and when we were tired of walking cabs were very inexpensive and came by frequently. We recommend Pinar's place.
Jun 27, 2019Pınar was a great host, and although we didn't get to meet her in person, she was very helpful over the phone and messages. The apartment was clean and cozy, and close to Taksim and Istanbul's night life. We enjoyed discovering how locals live without the intrusion of tourism. The little shop downstairs was very convenient, and the owner simply lovely. The climb to Taxim is ultra steep so not recommended if you have health issues. Highly recommended!!

Jun 27, 2019We had a good experience staying in Pinars place. It was very clean and well maintained. The places of interest could be reached by a bus, so it was no problem . We didn't get an Istanbulkart from Pinar, but it was no problem buying one. We didn't have much contact with Pinar, but the place was really nice and well kept.
Jun 27, 2019Pınar is one of the most friendly and helpful host I've ever met! She pick me up at the bus station and was so kind in giving me all the information I could need about the apartment and the city. Her apartment is exactly like the pictures, beautiful, bright, clean, I felt home (and the fridge was full of good foods!). The location is perfect: the area is calm and safe, and even if the city centre is so close, it's outside of the traffic of Istanbul. Near to the entrance door there is a market where you can buy everything you need, and the owner is extremely kind and joyful! Just be ready to climb, the house is at the end of a down sloping street, but this is common in every area of the city. It's definitely the best accommodation you could find for this price! Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Pinar was a great host , she waited for our arrival when we arrived late at night and will try to attend to our queries, although some time she was a bit slow in responding but that was due to her hectic jobs. On the last day, we had some issue at home and she came over to accompany us all night long, which show that she is very responsible and accommodate to ensure our safety is taken care of. We love her comfy apartment, it is very clean and in safe area. The only problem is the area that is located in hilly area and will have to walk about 15 minutes from nearest bus station. For me I have to no issue to walk about but not recommended for unfit or people with health issue. To take bus to Eminonu area would takes about 7-10 mins (flat walk), and walk back from bus station will take about 15 mins walking down the hill. The route for going and back within Istanbul is not using the same route, so it can be quite confusing. Overall, i would highly recommend this clean and trusted hosted.
Jun 27, 2019Pinar's apartment is clean, light, cozy and full-equiped. It is situated in good location. If you want to use public transport to explore Istanbul, Pinar's apartment is right for you. In 12 minutes walk is metro station (to get there you have to use the steep street, better - Tepebasi street) and in 12 minutes walk is stop of touristic sightseeing Big Bus tour (to get there you have to use a very steep street). In 8 minutes walk by flat street is bus stop to get Eminonu (Egyptian market, New Mosque, 10 minutes walk from historical centre and Sultanahmet square). From this bus stop you can also get Taxim square, Miniturk park. But one of most interesting public transport is the ferry boat. Ferry pier is also in 8 minutes walk by flat street from apartment. By ferry boat you can get to Eminonu, Karakoy and even to Uskudar (in Asian part of Istanbul). Price is the same as the bus. Next to the entrance door there is a small grocery store where you can buy everything you need. Pinar is extremely good host and if we had some questions she promtly gave the answer. So we highly recommend Pinar's apartment.
Jun 27, 2019Pınars Apartment ist groß, sauber, zentral gelegen, voll ausgestattet. Pınar war vor und während der Reise dauernd erreichbar und wirklich, wirklich hilfreich. Die Lage im Bezirk Beyoğlu ist toll, in der Gegend gibt es auch alles, was man braucht (Bäckerei, Bank, Apotheke, Supermarkt, Greißler) aber vor allem Richtung Tünel/Taxim ist es echt wirklich steil. Stellenweise steiler als Lissabon. Pınar kann aber Tipps geben, wie der schlimmste Hügel umgangen werden kann. Ich würd jederzeit wieder Pınars Apartment mieten und kann es nur fitten Reisenden wärmstens empfehlen.
Jun 27, 2019Pinar hat in ihrer Wohnung auf unsere Ankunft gewartet, obwohl wir Verspätung hatten. Das hat die Schlüsselübergabe sehr erleichtert. Außerdem hat sie uns alle paar Tage gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wenn wir eine Frage hatten - bspw. wo man gefüllte Müllbeutel entsorgt -, dann antwortete sie meist innerhalb einiger Minuten. Insofern blieb sie sehr im Hintergrund und stand dennoch jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung war ordentlich und sauber. Alles dort hat funktioniert. In der Nachbarschaft hat man kleine Supermärkte, eine gute Verkehrsanbindung und es ist ruhig (abgesehen vom Muezzin, der ja gehört werden soll). Restaurants sind 10 min. zu Fuß entfernt. Die einzigen zwei Kritikpunkte, die völlige Nebensächlichkeiten sind, waren: (1) Das Bad ist klein und vor allem um die Toilette herum ist es eng. (2) Die kleine Wohnung hat nur eine mäßige Küchenausstattung: Kochen kann man durchaus, aber man sollte von aufwändigeren Gerichten absehen. Weitere Kritikpunkte fallen mir wirklich gerade nicht ein. Absolut empfehlenswerte Adresse und Gastgeberin, um Istanbul zu erkunden!
Jun 27, 2019Definitely an amazing host! Easy to contact and fast at writing back. We had an amazing vacation and the apartment was perfect for two. However, I have to say that it wouldn't fit for more than three people. It is close to Taxim and a lot of caps drive by the building so you don't have to wait long for one. No doubt that I recommend others to stay at Pınar's apartment and I wouldn't mind going back. Thank you Pınar! :)
