Staying at Craige's and Leonie's place was a great experience. The description was accurate and the rooms were clean and tidy. The appartment is very nice and just a five minute walk from the beach with heaps of nice restaurants just around the corner. Craige and Leonie are very friendly and nice people that provided excellent advise and support. I hope that I will have the chance to stay at their place when I visit Sydney again.
Jun 27, 2019Beautiful home in a great location. 5 minute walk to tons of cafes and restaurants and 5 minute walk to the beach. Family is very nice. They leave the front door totally open a lot of the time so if you are paranoid or untrusting with your things just be aware! But seems like a great neighborhood and we were not worried about our things. Some bugs like cockroaches but apparently this is normal for the area. Room was big and spacious with a tv and lots of closet space! Access to beach chairs was nice. Very good experience with lovely people.

The room is also cosy and quiet, everything to have a lovely life. Really easy to communicate with them and they don't hesitate to share their australian experience which is really enjoyable :) As many things which made our travel unforgettable !

Jun 27, 2019My stay in Bondi Beach with Leonie and Craige was perfect! The house is as described, very spacious and in a great location. Only a few meters to cafés, restaurants and supermarkets. You can use the kitchen and the beautiful garden. Having my own bathroom was fantastic, it's pretty new, with a bathtub. Very good WiFi in the entire house. Leonie and Craige are wonderful hosts. Prompt communication, easygoing, helpful and also very open! I'm happy I got to know them. Thank you very much!

Jun 27, 2019Craige and Lee made us most welcome. The room and house was as described. We stayed with Craige and Lee for almost 2 weeks as I recuperated from surgery at St Vincents Private Hospital Needless to say the location was fantastic, as it was a 30m walk to the bus stop, the cafes and shops. The range of cafes was overwhelming so deciding on where to eat was a delightful problem to overcome. With a sizable Jewish population living in the area, it was a cultural experience to spend time browsing through Golds World of Judaica shop. We ate out most nights and made our breakfast and lunches back at the Craige and Lee's where all the facilities were available. It was an easy stroll to Bondi Beach and again down on the waterfront there were even more shops and cafes. The bus which ran like every 10 minutes took us to the massive Bondi Junction shopping centre and also to St Vincents Hospital. What a great location and great hosts.

Super helpful with advice for us regarding local attractions and the easiest way to get from A to B. The actual property itself was stunning and brilliantly placed, literally a few mins from Bondi Beach. Couldn't recommend this highly enough.

Moreover the other residents of the house are great as well. The house itself is also quite nice and the location is fantastic! Next to the beach and with great restaurants nearby. We loved our stay!

Jun 27, 2019Graige & Leonie gave us a friendly reception and accommodated our early arrival. They are excellent hosts and make you feel welcome and relaxed. The place is in a superb location being only few minutes walk to Bondi Beach which is well serviced with transport to Sydney every 10 minutes. We loved having breakfast in their peaceful backyard listening to the bird-life in the mornings. The area is nice and quiet considering its handy locality to everything Bondi offers. Jun 27, 2019This was my first Airbnb and after my wonderful experience with Craig, Leoni and family it will not be my last. Friendly interacting hosts, beautiful patio area with wild parrots flying around (great place to relax after a hectic day), large kitchen, dining area and sitting room,bedroom with private (Website hidden by Airbnb) were always made feel at home. Great quiet area close to Bondi Beach and shops and restaurants very close by.Why pay over twice as much for a small hotel room.

Jun 27, 2019Mistakenly booked this private room in a person's shared house; we've always had private rooms in the past. Turned out great, though! Location was excellent, hosts were incredibly helpful and kind - especially with getting around and other recommendations. The room we had was upstairs with our own, non-shared bathroom next door. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature was good. House had all the amenities you might want, laundry, cookery, etc. Only downsides I can think of are 1. during the hot summer days there is no air conditioner, but there is a powerful ceiling fan that kept the room at a pleasing temp. And 2. There was a big cockroach that flew in through the open window one night, but that's on us for leaving the window open. Highly recommended place - easy walking distance to any Bondi area, or a smooth bus ride anywhere else. Also, pretty close to the Rose Bay ferry for a super quick ride to downtown (rather than the slower bus).

Jun 27, 2019We had a brilliant time here at Jan 2017. Craige could not be any more helpful for giving us information on the best places for local dining, drinks and sites to see. Both were super friendly and made us feel very relaxed. Our only downside was that we did not stay longer. I would definitely recommend here.
Jun 27, 2019This place is a must. So close to Bondi Beach and many fantastic restaurants. A 1/2 hour walk to the Rose Bay Ferry which is the way to travel to Sydney and the other water side communities. The outdoor space was a haven after a full day of touring!
Jun 27, 2019The location is perfect as well as quiet, mere minutes from the beach and all of Bondi's bar and restaurants. Perfect for single or couples traveling that want all Bondi has to offer but also a good nights sleep. All of the shared amenities offered give it that 'at home' feeling and the availability laundry in the house is a life saver after beach days. The back garden and hot tub is a added luscious luxury and I always felt I could partake if I wanted. Craig and Lee are very friendly and extremely helpful and the fellow travelers that share the house are ideal house mates. One of the best Air BnB's I've stayed in. Will 100% book again.

We strongly recommend this place - Craige & Leonie are fantastic hosts - they were answering all our questions and recommended great place to see in Sydney. Location of the place is very good - just next to Bondie Beach - very close to all restaurants and shops, but it is quiet at the same time. We really enjoyed our time there and we will recommend it to all our friends!

It is very easy to get to and from on public transport and is close to some great cafes, restaurants and ice cream parlours. Craig and Leonie were so welcoming, thoughtful and kind and made our stay so enjoyable with wonderful recommendations and assistance. The bed is very comfortable and the private bathroom was immediately next to the room and immaculately clean. The area whilst close to shops and restaurants was really quiet at night and only a few minutes walk to Bondi beach.This was a wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend to anyone. We had a truly amazing holiday here. Thank you so much.

The place is very close to the beach, there is many restaurants, coffees around, and the neighbourhood is quiet. They are the most welcoming, friendly people I have ever met, gave us all the information we needed to know, and helped with everything they could. Highly recommended!

Jun 27, 2019When I go back to Sydney, I will definitely stay at 41 Roscoe Street, Bondi again. It is an inviting and warm environment, and my hosts, Craige & Leonie were absolutely respectful of my privacy but on hand for anything I needed. It was a really a beautiful experience to be so far from home (Italy), and yet to feel so safely contained in this quiet, convenient, and beautiful house. The amenities in both room and kitchen were outstanding. There’s an overall feeling of soft and peaceful accommodation. Just around the corner there are plenty of great places to eat or have a coffee. Bondi Beach is less than 5 minutes walk away and the scenery is hard to beat. I can’t really find any flaws at all! Jun 27, 2019Couldn't recommend Craige and Leonie's place highly enough! The house is lovely, everyone was very welcoming and fun to be around. Bondi was everything we had hoped for! The area is great for food with lots of very reasonably priced places which would cater to everyone. Craige recommended a fantastic Thai restaurant called Bangkok Bites which we ended up visiting twice in our five days there. Would also highly recommend the coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee as a must-do activity. Getting into Sydney town centre was super easy, there are multiple ways to do it but we enjoyed catching a ferry which gives you views of the opera house and harbour bridge.

Jun 27, 2019Craige and Leonie are great hosts and have a fantastic house in one of the best parts of Bondi. A few minutes from the bars, cafes and beach, their house is an oasis of calm. Our hosts kindly shared the public areas with their guests, including the fab Bali inspired garden with hot tub, BBQ and sun chairs. I highly recommend this as a great base to explore Sydney.

Jun 27, 2019Craige & Leonie's home is very spacious and they are a very relaxed couple. The bed was very comfy. The location is ideal for visiting Bondi and surrounding area. The local bus stop is 2 mins away and there is a big choice of eateries in the area.

Real local vibe to the surrounding streets and phenomenal food options close by for any foodie... or they welcome you to spark up the barbie in their beautiful garden whenever you like. Jun 27, 2019What can I say about the hosts Lee & Craige. What a lovely genuine couple and nothing was too much for them. They let us check in early as our flight got in st 7am and usually check in is at 2pm. They left some hints and suggestions of what to do in the room with contact details and everything we needed to know about the area, where to get public transport, eat and go out. They even lent us beach towels. Lee lent me her straightener. WiFi too. Bathroom was super clean with a great shower. They got us a cab when an uber let us down. It was like being at home abroad. Very casual down to earth couple. In an ideal location near Bondi Beach. Just a 5 min walk but yet away from the hustle & bustle of the parade opposite beach. First time booking an Airbnb and so glad it was such a happy experience.

From the moment we arrived Craige and Leonie were so kind and made us feel at home by showing us around and giving us guidance on where to visit and things to do. The house is amazing, clean and the garden is beautiful. It's a perfect spot as restaurants and bars are literally round the corner and bondi beach is only 5 mins walk. Even though it is so close to the nightlife it's on a quiet road so getting a good nights sleep was easy. We had Xmas dinner with their family which was incredible generous. You have to do the walk from bondi beach along the coast to Coogee as it's stunning!! Overall couldn't fault anything about our stay and if we ever need somewhere to stay near bondi in future I will be coming straight back here. Thanks again for an amazing few days. Patrick and Elle x

Jun 27, 2019Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei leonie und craige. Die beiden waren extrem hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Die Lage des Hauses kann nicht besser sein, sehr ruhig und entspannt, gleichzeitig war die Hallstreet mit ihren Restaurants und Shops direkt um die Ecke. Zum Strand waren es keine 5 Minuten. Wir hätten es nicht besser treffen können!

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Sydney zu erkunden. Man kann den tollen Bondi to bronte walk machen oder von Rose bay aus mit der Fähre nach Central Sydney. Craige und Leonie waren super gastfreundlich und haben viele wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl in ihrem großen schönen Haus gefühlt und wären viel zu gerne länger geblieben! Vielen Dank nochmal!
Jun 27, 2019Deze airb&b is zeker een aanrader. Goede locatie vlak bij Bondi beach, gezellige woning en goede kamer met eigen badkamer. Voldoende privé met daarbij gezellig contact met de overige gasten en verhuurders. Graige en Leonie zijn spontane mensen en zeer behulpzaam met geven van tips en je comfortabel voelen. Wij hebben een top tijd gehad.

They are very helpful, very friendly, easy going, they try their best to make you feel that you are at home. They are very social and talkative. The room and bathroom are very clean, very big. I loved their garden, it feels like you are in 5 star hotel garden:)... The location is super, very close to beach, the best cafes and restaurants in Bondi. My overall all stay was wonderful in that house. Thank you for being such a nice host

Jun 27, 2019I enjoyed the stay in Bondi! The location was perfect and super close to the beach and all the restaurants in the area. The tips and information provided was super helpful! The conversations were lovely as well! He only things I was surprised by was that It wasn’t as clean as I thought it would be based on reviews and ratings. I also wasn’t expecting to have additional Craig and Leonie which I would have appreciated being disclosed ahead of time or in the description. Otherwise if you’re looking for a low key, relaxed time then this is a great option!
