Enjoy your stay in a quiet, cozy and bright top-floor apartment with back deck and shared backyard. Located on the top floor of a century-old two-floor house, with a spacious back deck which overlooks our own private backyard. Lovely home, bright and sunny thanks to its patio door at the back and a skylight in the living room area. Not huge (650 sq. ft.), and the entrance and staircase are amongst the narrowest in town, but it has a very spacious open concept living room and kitchen. There is one small closed bedroom at the back of the house (away from street) and a small bathroom, complete with a bathtub. My house is comprised of two separate independent apartments. I usually live upstairs, but have recently moved to the ground floor, as one of my dogs now has trouble with the stairs. I work from home. The Plateau... where else in Montreal would you want to be! The area is brimming with restaurants, boutiques, health food stores, a beautiful blend of old-style and trendy architecture, and my personal favorite... the Mont-Royal, our own beautiful little mountain, where you can pretend you are lost in a lush forest, and enjoy incredible views of the city.

The house is an easy 10-minute walk from the subway station (Mont-Royal), and there are different bus lines just around the corner. I personally walk or bike everywhere, as everything is within walking distance, and there are plenty of Bixi stations very close by, but if you want to show off your sports car, parking is easy on my street, even without a resident´s permit (Hey... do not share this with anyone!). I can also provide you with a temporary resident sticker for $10 a day (please tell me in advance). If you prefer, there is a parking lot nearby at a rate of $10/day, and a neighbour on my block offers my guests a covered garage for $18/day.

The apartment and back deck are yours to enjoy. Backyard will be shared with the apartment downstairs, that is, with me, or with another guest if it´s occupied as well. There are two bikes you can borrow, too! (shared with the apartment downstairs, so please ask me first).
