Oksana and I did not have a chance to meet in person, but she was still a great host. She made easy key arrangements, left us a list of her favorite places in her neighborhood, and communicated quickly to book her place. The studio is a good size for one guest or a couple. It is newly renovated. Great shower in the bathroom. The room is a bit chilly, but she kindly left a space heater. If you like a chilly room, this is a great place for you. The kitchen was really handy.
Jun 27, 2019We absolutely loved Oksana's place! It was cozy and well appointed, we unfortunately didn't get to meet her but she made arrangements to make sure everything went very smoothly for us. We would definitely stay here again, the location was perfect with so much to do close by.
Jun 27, 2019Good location and nice apartment. Communication with Oksana was very good, got fast replies. The apartment was nice and clean, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. She had left us very good recommendations to neighbourhood bars/restaurants and also a nice bottle of red wine. The neighbourhood is quiet but walking distance to lots of restaurants. The metro station is a 5 minute walk. This was a perfect location for our stay in NYC.
Jun 27, 2019We had an amazing time in New York staying at Oksana's place. The ad was spot on. All kitchen facilities were there though we didn't use them as we were out. The bathroom is nice, with a good shower. The bed was very comfortable. Great vibe to the place, quiet and relaxing. The area was perfect. Full of amazing places to eat and drink and a short walk to the subway which made getting to the rest of manhattan very easy. Only one stop over to Brooklyn also. Oksana had left a bottle of wine and some chocolates for our arrival which was very nice. She met us at the apartment and talked us through a few things. She also left a list of her recommendations for food and drinks for the area. She was super flexible with moving in and out times and always available to answer questions. In short, great host, great apartment, great area. Would recommend! Thanks Oksana!

Jun 27, 2019Oksana was a great host that made everything very easy during my stay. Although we did not meet in person I had no issues settling in or having any of my questions answered! The apartment was exactly how it appears in the images and was presented immaculately. The location of the apartment is perfect as it is surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants to suit all taste buds. Would definitely want to stay here again when I visit NYC.

Oksana is very accommodating; we had an early flight to and from NYC, but she was willing to let us check in and out early. Plus, she left us a list of her recommendations and made us feel very welcome! I highly recommend staying here, I would again in a heartbeat.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment description and photos were accurate. Comfortable bed, lots of pillows, clean. Shower had decent pressure and temperature. My only complaint was that sometimes the toilet would run. Aside from that, locks & entry to apartment were easy to figure out. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks surround the area. Felt safe walking at night. I missed my flight coming in and Oksana was flexible and communicative as we worked together to find a way to get me the keys at a new time. Would stay again in the future. Thanks Oksana!

Jun 27, 2019I had a great stay at Oksana's place. The Eastern-inspired decor made it a peaceful outpost in the city. The neighborhood still shows a lot of vibrancy and community with its coffee shops, bars, restaurants, gardens, and Tompkins Square Park down the road. Oksana has a great list of places in the neighborhood to try. She was very responsive and check-in/check-out was extremely easy.
Jun 27, 2019Oksana's place was great - It was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was close to everything we needed and every place we wanted to go. The space had a great vibe and was great to come back to relax in after a long day. I was glad to see one of the places I wanted to eat at was on her list of places to check out and it was only a couple blocks away. We never met her, but checking in and out was super easy and she was very responsive. Recommended!

Jun 27, 2019Lovely bohemian space, amazing location. We even got to watch 4th of July fireworks from the rooftop. Oksana was delightful to deal with and talk to, and though she wasn't in town, communication was very easy. I second her restaurant recommendations; they're all really good. In all, the experience was delightful and we'd stay again in a heartbeat.
Jun 27, 2019The pictures and description are accurate. The apartment is on the first floor, so rarely used the elevator. The location is great! A lot of places to get food, as well as Tompkins Square Park are close by, great vibe in the neighbourhood. The M14D bus was close by and useful to get to places, including subway stations. We didn't meet Oksana in person, but she was always available to answer any questions.
Jun 27, 2019Oksana was a great host - very understanding when I flight was delayed as I was arriving. The apartment was clean and tidy and I had everything that I needed. Excellent location as well. Would definitely recommend. The only thing I would add is that I could have done with a place to hang my work clothes but I worked something out.

Jun 27, 2019Oksana was super communicative and made me feel very welcome to her charming studio in East Village. What a great location! So close to so many awesome places! Even tho I was there for only one day I got to have breakfast at C&B, lunch at Café Morgador and beers at Proletariat. She also had great tips for some awesome cocktail joints nearby, including my favorite New York City drinking establishment: Pouring Rainbows. Thank you, Oksana!

Jun 27, 2019Oksana is a very warm, cooperative & communicable host. She will try & help you out with your needs / queries immediately. Her warm & cozy place feels just like home. It has few restaurants around, nice & safe neighbourhood & is walkable (15-20 minutes) to Union Square.
Jun 27, 2019Oksana has check-in/out down to a science and her place is eclectic and cozy, just as described. It's clean and decorated with plenty of personal charm, the shower is great, the bed is comfy, there's AC if needed, and during my few nights stay during the week I never heard any noise from neighbors so I got plenty of sleep. Definitely a good spot and great value for a single traveler or a couple used to intimate spaces (it is a studio after all). The neighborhood has plenty of night life to check out as well as lots of little green spaces for quieter meditation if that's more your thing. Tompkins Square Park is probably the nicest it's been in about twenty years and a great place to lie on the grass with a book if you don't feel like schlepping to Central Park. Of course if you do want to get out of the neighborhood, the L train is close, plus there's a crosstown bus at the end of the block if an 8 minute walk to the subway seems just too much (but then I'd have to ask what you're doing in New York any way?) so there's no excuse not to get out there and see whatever you want.

Jun 27, 2019What an amazing experience I had at Oksana place. I felt as if I was at my sister place. Her bed and her shower are out of this world and her decoration. It was all I needed after a stressful day. It was hard leaving! However, nothing tops Oksana vibe. She is so sweet, caring and friendly, I’ve felt like she was family every time we talked. It was an honor! Hope to be back soon!

It's very central, walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and other places for going out like e.g. the (old and new) nublu just around the corner. The place has its very own charm, which i liked, it's very clean, quite quiet and Oksana is a wonderful host, very responsive and very friendly, making you feel welcome - and she has helpful recommendations for the neighborhood. :) I recommend the place for renting. The apartment is ideally situated in the east village, there are two bus stops a few steps away, it is a short walk to the subway, plus the neighbourhood is full of restaurants. The studio had everything we needed during our stay. Oksana was quick to respond to any questions/problems we had and was always very helpful and friendly! We would absolutely choose her place, if we had the opportunity to visit New York again!

Jun 27, 2019East Village is my fave part of Manhattan, the street of Oksana’s apt is quiet but near everything you’d need, very walkable and near trains/buses/citibikes etc. Oksana was super quick in responding and communicating, booking and checking in was a breeze. Her place isn’t big but perfect for single or couple and it gives you great value for money. It’s a cute little space. There is a lot of stuff, perhaps a little too much, but it didn’t bother me. The only tiny thing that bugged me a little was that it is quite dark, I would’ve loved an extra clip-light or two.

Very close to a high-energy neighbourhood with lots of bars and restaurants (including many veggo/vegan if you're so inclined), but the apartment itself and street are quite quiet. Oksana is a great host and provided clear check-in instructions and a raft of great local recommendations.

Jun 27, 2019The last AirBnB I stayed in, I thought to myself this is the most hotel-like AirBnB I've ever had. Oksana's was the opposite - in the best possible way. The charm and character of her place are undeniable - it was like staying in a friend's perfectly appointed and perfectly maintained home, which is half the charm of the AirBnB experience. She was ridiculously easy to communicate with (and understanding of little wrinkles along the way like a late check in), the neighborhood is quintessential East Village/Alphabet City, and I can't overstate how charming the unit is. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Our check in was super easy her home is very colorful and whimsical and the location was great. Oksana gave us great tips for local restaurants and fun spots to visit which were exactly as she described. We had a great time. She was a great host!
