Ernesto + Sonia were amazing hosts! They were so nice, helped find fun things to do, and provided everything we could ever need! Their apartment was perfectly located. The beach and the marina are a 2 minute walk from the apartment. Their apartment is many floors up, so you will have to walk up stairs but the view from the terrace is way worth the climb! Also they own the cutest Jack Russel terrier! I definitely recommend this Airbnb for a relaxing trip to Barcelona!

Jun 27, 2019Wow what a warm welcome we had, candle light, flowers on the table and a welcome bottle of Spanish wine! And our guest are the best, very friendly, helpful and joyful. The location is the best, at least if you want to stay at the beach and taste the atmosphere of how the locals live. Lots of bar, restaurant and the best a perfect beach at 2 min walk. The room itself is tiny, yet clean, good bed and enough space for your clothes to put. Another nice detail, towels are provided All in all we can strongly recommend this place.
Jun 27, 2019Appartement très bien situer avec un toit Terrasse très agréable . Pour ce qui est de l'appart nous avions réserver pour 3 . Et nous avions qu'un lit double ... La salle de bain est très petite . Les hôtes sont très sympa et arrangeant pour les horaires

Very friendly, open and helpful owners (Sonia and Ernesto, thank you for the reception), cute dog! 3. Small, clean and comfortable room, but in the summer, when plus 30 degrees is very hot. 4. Helpful sports daily - rise to the 5th floor walk;) In general, all very much, thank you! Recommended!

Jun 27, 2019Vi blev välkomnade med öppna armar av Sonia och Ernesto och de tog god hand om oss. De var villiga att hjälpa till och tipsa, men lät oss också vara ifred när vi ville, trots att vi bodde i samma lägenhet. Det bästa med lägenheten var läget, en minut ner till stranden. Det fanns även en takterass där man hade fin utsikt.

Jun 27, 2019Los que estuvieron alojados fueron mis padres, pero por lo que me contaron, Ernesto y Sonia se portaron de maravilla con ellos, muy amables y abiertos, la casa es una monada y se encuentra realmente al lado de la playa. Genial!
Jun 27, 2019Small but really cozy room in a nice quiet neighborhood in a nice part of the city. Quite a lot restaurants and bars in the area (having in mind that it's almost at the beach). Really close to train station and bus stops. Ernesto and Sonia were really helpful with tips and advises, very friendly and fun!

Jun 27, 2019We spent three nights at Sonia & Ernesto's guestroom. The two were very nice and great hosts. We missed the freshly brewed coffee, we got every morning and the bed was the most comfortable that we ever had on travels. We want to come back as soon as possible. :)
Jun 27, 2019Staying with Ernesto and Sonia was amazing. Their place is one block from the beach in Barceloneta, 2 minute walk to marina, maybe 15-20 mins to Ramblas. Sonia gave me a map and showed me some spots to check out right when I arrived. It was a holiday weekend so she and Ernesto threw a rooftop party which was SUPER fun (I was very fortunate to be there that weekend). The place is on the 5th floor, stairs only, if that is a problem Thanks again for everything Ernesto and Sonia!!
Jun 27, 2019Very welcoming, helpful and friendly couple. Showed us the true spirit of catalunya and even more barceloneta. Coffee, cheesecake and a beautiful dog named Rumba.Ideal for couples. A stones throw from the beach, and a stroll from the best parts of the city. It's a pity our stay was so brief, will definitely be coming back. Until next time...
Jun 27, 2019Ernesto and Sonya are a one of a kind couple! We felt at home immediately upon our arrival when Ernesto gave us the keys and set up our room for us. Both Ernesto and Sonya are very helpful and accommodating which is so impressive because they are hard working individuals that balance the air bnb service with their careers. They spent time getting to know us over coffee in the morning and provided small breakfast items if we wanted them! If not, they encouraged us to use their kitchen to make our own food. Not only did we feel welcomed and comfortable with their recommendations on things to do, but we felt loved. It was a sad departure!
Jun 27, 2019It was a pleasure to stay at Sonias and Ernestos place. A lot of fun at the roof top while observing the sunset. The beach is near and a countless small bars and restaurants will keep you busy. Next time in Barcelona we will definitely come again and stay at Sonias and Ernestos place. Thanks for all.

Jun 27, 2019These two hosts are absolutely amazing! I sincerely wish there was a love button on this review because my sister and I loved staying here! The apartment is beautiful and located so close to the beach/city center that everything felt so easy to access. Both Ernesto and Sonia are so full of life, generousity, and kindness you would want to spend hours talking and getting to know both. The first day Sonia provided us with maps, suggestions to great restaurants,sights, etc and Ernesto was even kind enough to lug my baby sister's luggage up 5 flights of stairs. Furthermore, their terrace overlooking barcelona makes you fall in love with the city even more. On our last day, Sonia was kind enough to make us coffee and breakfast which was so delicious! These two are incredible hosts and phenomenal people, I highly recommend staying here :)
Jun 27, 2019Ernesto and Sonia made us feel very at home, and were extremely accommodating of us during our stay. The room was smaller than expected, but they made up for the smaller room with their advice, friendliness, and cleanliness. The location is also hard to beat - their apartment is right on the Barceloneta beach, which is really convenient for first time visitors.

They are incredibly friendly and helpful and provide you a nice room with shared kitchen space in their apartment. You can not find a better deal with better people. Added bonus is a lovely rooftop terrace.
Jun 27, 2019What can I say?! Ernesto and Sonia were the sweetest, easy going, and down to earth hosts. Their love exude throughout their eclectic apartment. The place was clean and so accessible to everything especially the beach and great restaurants. Sonia and Ernesto were easy to talk to about everything from their neighborhood, Barcelona, their history together and life in general. They both were gracious host and very accommodating. The bonus spot was their beautiful terrace upstairs overlooking the ocean and Barceloneta. Ernesto was kind enough to help us with our luggage from their apartment all the way down to the first floor, oh yea, by the way, they live on the 5th floor and only stairs. Good exercise after eating paella near the beach

Jun 27, 2019Ernesto and Sonia are lovely, friendly people that possess a great balance of respecting one's privacy and are happy to share a drink with you. They provided great recommendations to us, and were caring regarding our well-being. Some minor down sides included the small space and that it became very hot at night (albeit, we visited in the summertime, so it is expected). We definitely recommend staying with this lovely couple. Thank you both for the hospitality!
