Cozy room, very close to the 2 and 5 trains. Made for a productive stay!

She was very kind and welcoming throughout my whole stay, and the location of her place is beyond ideal, being only a block away from the 2 and 5 trains for Manhattan access. I would absolutely recommend her as a reliable host. For the location and comfort, her asking price is certainly a great deal. If you need a cozy place to stay while in Brooklyn, this is an excellent option. Very satisfied with my stay.
Jun 27, 2019Rivka's home was in a very convenient location to a subway that was literally round the corner so that we could easily get to and from the city. Her home was exactly as described, and Rivka would always get back to any questions we had more or less right away. The only thing was carrying our heavy luggage up many flights of stairs.
Jun 27, 2019Rivka is the most charming host and she has a great apartment. Highest recommendations. The apartment is in one of the last authentic neighbourhoods in Brooklyn. There's good coffee around the corner and great beer a few blocks north. It's a few flights up, but worth it. The apartment is warm and cozy. The bed is comfortable and the water pressure is surprisingly good for NY. On the social side, Rivka made Shakshouka the first night, and brought me along to an engagement party. I had a great time.
Jun 27, 2019Rivka is very kind and careful host. Home was exactly as described, it was clean and room was cozy and nice. Neighborhood is good, near to small markets and supermarket and close to the 2 & 5 subway station. The last day she cooked some cookies and unfortunately I could not take some of them with me.
Jun 27, 2019A small room in a sunny, and somewhat shabby apt. The bed was comfy and you have lots of bedding to choose from. Rivka was nice. For some reason she posts a photo of her own (much nicer) bedroom in the ad, which seems a bit odd, as it has nothing to do with guest's space.
Jun 27, 2019R. ist eine herzliche, freundliche, hilfsbereite, unkomplizierte Gastgeberin. Das Appartement ist nett und liegt in einem angenehmen Stadtviertel von Brooklyn. Manhattan ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut zu erreichen, etwa 20 min. Sehr empfehlenswert und immer wieder herzlich gerne!!!
Jun 27, 2019Rivka's place is a perfect spot to stay in while working in NYC. Close to trains and buses. Near Prospect Park. Rivka is a wonderful host, friendly, attentive and a great baker that left delicious goodies to snack on.

Jun 27, 2019A comfy little apartment in a very convenient part of Brooklyn, one block from several subway lines. Wish we'd had more time to explore prospect Park. Clean, tidy, and good value. Rivka was extremely helpful and friendly.

Jun 27, 2019Rivka is such a nice and warm person! She is so kind to us and showed me lots of things if we need help. And she prepared for coffee when we left early morning! The room was clean, tidy and cozy. But the heater in the living room was a bit noisy so that I couldn't sleep well but I could sleep well in the bedroom.(This often happens in New York though, and my friends could sleep well even in the living room:)) So if you don't care about it it's a really good house to stay at, especially for long stay! You can walk to subway station within 3 minutes:)
Jun 27, 2019Rivka's was one of a couple places I stayed at after moving to the City while I was still looking for an apartment, and hers was certainly my favorite. Carrying my bags up the stairs was a bit of a chore, but from there the stay was nothing but pleasant. Rivka's very knowledgeable about the area and always had a helpful suggestion for places to check out. The apartment is blocks away from prime subway spots and the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Public Library are only a couple stops away, if not walking distance if you don't mind a trek. I loved staying with her and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stop for either a trip to the city or moving transition.

Jun 27, 2019Rivka is a great host! She's very welcoming and friendly. The room's neat, clean and comfy. The apartment is located in a nice neighborhood and is close to the subway stations. Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Gardens are at a walkable distance, and so are restaurants and bars. Today, when I was leaving, I was pleasantly surprised, when Rivka offered freshly baked cookies! Overall, it was a delightful experience. Highly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Rivka was an excellent host. We unfortunately did not get to meet her however, she was extremely accomidating and had 2 beds made up when we arrived in addition to some cookies! We had one small issue getting in however, it was quickly resolved and Rivka was very responsive. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed including some extra blankets and towels. The area is pretty centrally located. We went to a show in Prospect Park and walked both ways ~20 minutes. Overall, we had a great stay and would recomend it to anyone! Thank you Rivka! -Emma
Jun 27, 2019I contacted Rivka looking for a same day booking as I'd been let down by a previous booking. She was so sweet about it and only asked that I give her a couple of hours to get it ready. She was so welcoming and showed me on some local maps of the best way to get around and she was so enthusiastic about the local area which was so nice! If you're looking to get into city, it's perfect t. Direct 2 or5 trains into Manhattan with 3 nearby as well. The flat is lovely and the bed was super comfy; I slept so well every night. Rivka even provides tea and good coffee and even baked a yummy pastry which I could help myself too! I would 100% stay again and am looking forward to exploring more of the area!

Jun 27, 2019A very comfortable, simple cozy setting - totally clean -the best bed I've ever slept in and the host is sweet helpful warm patient and exactly what I was looking for. I did not realize it was on the fourth floor, and had a suitcase which Rivka carried up the stairs for me. She saved me and my back.

We were not sure how we would feel staying in the same apartment as the host but Rivka is so friendly and accommodating that we felt like were staying with an old friend. The place was clean and in a great location. Look forward to visiting again.

Jun 27, 2019There are two things i wanna to add. The apartment is on the forth floor and there is no elevator, so if you have many luuages you need to consider it. And i suggest you to bring a earplug when you sleep for the reason that the sound of the heating raditor is loud when it is working in the midnight. Everything else are fine and the owner is very kind and nice too. She cooked some delicious cookies for my friend and i.

Jun 27, 2019Staying at Rivka's place it was amazing for us. We even forgot that it was Airbnb. Besides the perfect location, cleanness, communication and pricing Rivka is such an awesome person. We're really happy about staying over there. Also, she knows how to cook. Really. Her place is really, really well located. Literally 2mins from subway, restaurants, groceries, coffee shops and such. She has a cozy place and we felt like home.

Jun 27, 2019Staying at Rivka’s was beyond what I expected! I moved to NYC and stayed with her for over a month and a half while I was figuring out permanent housing. She provided the most hospitable situation I have ever encountered anywhere. She treats you like you are staying at a close family members house and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Fun conversations, movie nights, and dinners were just some of the highlights of the stay. Staying here is good for introverts and extroverts because you have the space and quiet you need but also the social interactions. I’m honestly honored to have met such a great person and I now consider Rivka an actual friend even after I left her house!
