Overall a great stay! Central location made it easy to get everywhere. Unfortunately it was quite loud from neighboring streets and rooms
Jun 27, 2019The emails with Javier and then contact and meeting with his friend, who gave us the keys, was very friendly. That was probably the best part of our stay in this flat. It does not meet the quality and standards that we have enjoyed from other flats on airbnb, whose customer service responded quickly and helped us relocate. The photos of the flat are misleading: some furniture (like the two tables) has disappeared or been moved, some has been replaced, the two main blinds are broken, as is the shower-head holder - all in all resulting in a much less friendly and less practical feeling. Besides that, we found there to be a general feel of neglect: though the flat had been cleaned before we arrived, we had to bleach the bath tub twice and scrub it to make it look not disgustingly grimy. At least its cleaner now ... The shower curtain was mouldy, and there was an unpleasant smell from the kitchen cabinets. Finally, as the previous guest described in his comment - unfortunately posted after our booking - the neighbours are very very loud: they partied for three nights in a row until 4am, their front doors open to the corridor. We know Bondi Beach is a party place, but didn't expect it inside a residential building, and at this price for the flat.
Jun 27, 2019Javier's apartment was perfect. The location was incredibly convenient, quiet and tranquil and beautifully furnished. The apartment was clean and inviting and provided a perfect Bondi base for my stay.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Javier's apartment! The location was ideal- so close to the beach and town. The flat was spacious and homely and perfect for our Christmas stay :). The bed was very comfy and kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend Javier's apartment!
Jun 27, 2019We had the most amazing time at the lovely home of Javier! They made us feel like we were just at home and it was so central we could reach everything in 5 minutes. Eventhough we were a little late you guys were so laid back and easy going that we experienced the surfinglife exactly like it is. Thank you guys so much for everything! It was such a blast to stay at yours!!!!

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic location, great place, a few bumps. The apartment was very clean, very comfortable, in a great neighborhood. Javier was not in town but contacted me via email to make sure all was ok when I arrived. I had originally booked a different place but it was cancelled last minute so I was lucky to find Javier's place. Unfortunately, I was driving and did not have time to verify the parking situation. Javier tried to offer ideas, but in reality I was stuck paying for parking whenever I was at the apartment on either a 1-hour or 2-hour meter. Pricey and inconvenient! If you are not driving, you'll really enjoy the chill apartment and great neighborhood.

Jun 27, 2019The unit was exactly as described. Was walking distance to everything we needed. Javier gave us tips on free parking which was only a 5 minute walk and easy to find. Communication was great with quick responses to any questions asked. We had our son with us which the sofa bed was fine for. Would stay here again.
