Jun 27, 2019Amazing AMAZING experience overall from the beginning until the end of the stay. I rented the place for my parents who were visiting New York for the first time. They were ecstatic about the apartment and the view is truly breathtaking. As soon as we walked in, you can smell fresh clean linen and the place was extremely immaculate. Pictures don't really do the apartment justice. Fabio was also so great to deal with. He's so accomodating and professional. The experience made my parents feel so welcomed and at home. They kept telling me that it was by far much better than staying in a hotel. The doormen were all so friendly and great to deal with. Subway was a quick walk and you would be close to markets and the park, so it's in a very convenient location. I can't stress how fortunate I am to have found this place. I live 5 blocks away and I'm already missing this apartment. I would recommend any out-of-towners to stay here definitely!!!
Jun 27, 2019We were five family members who met in NY and lived at Favio's apt. for 5 nights and it was AMAZING!!! Fabio's apt. is really too good to be true!! It's cleane, big and decorated beautifully. The neighborhood is great and the apt. is close to everything. We were in an amazing city, but did not want to leave the apt. because it was so great and pleasant. I definitely recomend it, if you want your vacation to be a dream. Definitely a lot better that living in a hotel! Thanks Fabio for a beautiful experience, we will come back! :)

Jun 27, 2019Very beautiful clean apartment, even bigger in person than it looks in the pictures. Fabio was kind enough to let me host a small gather here as my own apartment was too small. Easy key pick up at the front desk whenever it worked for me and the door man was super nice. Over all very accommodating, would recommend to anyone. Also the view is as good as advertised, and with the heat lamps on the balcony, it can be enjoyed in any season.
Jun 27, 2019My family and I had a fabulous stay in Fabio's beautiful apartment. We were a five minute walk from my son's apartment, a ten minute walk from the L train into the city, and were surrounded by wonderful restaurants and shops. The kitchen was more than adequate for our holiday cooking needs and the view cannot be beat. If you are looking for a city living experience, including lots of night time light and traffic noise, this is the place for you.
Jun 27, 2019Fabio nous avait certifié que nous trouverions la clef de l'appartement 24 h sur 24 chez le doorman à notre arrivée et que nous pourrions la déposer 24 h sur 24 le jour du départ Notre soirée de Noël en famille à été totalement gâchée car pas de clef chez le concierge à notre arrivée de l avion à 18 h Nous avons passé notre soirée de Noël dans la crainte de ne pas savoir où coucher!!! Nous n avons pû pénétrer dans l appartement qu après minuit après de multiples appels téléphoniques au Brésil (où se trouvait Fabio) et au service client de Air BNB( en Californie) Pendant tous le séjour les gardiens ont été désagréables car ils nous ont dit être en contentieux avec le propriétaire et au départ ils nous ont dit ne pas vouloir prendre en charge la clef que nous avons dû laisser sur leur bureau Nous avons donc été très déçus par la fiabilité de notre hôte et par air Bnb que nous pensions être garant de la fiabilité des hôtes Sophie

Jun 27, 2019I had a nice stay here with a couple of friends. The apartment is spacious, with plenty of place to hang out and to sleep. The location is perfect, right near Bedford Ave in Williamsburg. And it is quite true that the view is spectacular! There are multiple balconies where you can stand out and look at various parts of NYC. My whole transaction was pretty smooth and effortless, and I would definitely recommend staying at Fabio's place if you want to spend a night or two in Brooklyn.
Jun 27, 2019I rented this apartment for a client of mine. IE I wasn't even staying there. The pick up of the keys was fairly easy. Unfortunately once at the apartment my clients has issues that the host was unavailable to help with. They called several times and had no responses. I was then given a bad review. The apartment looks really beautiful and I would rwccomended it. But don't expect an easy time getting a hold of people when problems arise. Also you should expect a bad review if you ask for help.
Jun 27, 2019We had a very good experience renting Fabio's modern, 16th floor apartment in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. The breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline are iconic and we found the apartment clean, spacious, conveniently located and functional. It is well equipped with a large screen Tv with cable and other technology, including free wifi. Be sure to pay attention to Fabio's technology instructions. The neighborhood felt safe and friendly, even late at night, because there are so many people walking their dogs and coming and going from the subway and restaurants. It's an easy walk to stores and restaurants in Williamsburg and parts of Fort Greene, and a short subway ride into Manhattan on the L line fron the Bedford Station. On the host's recommendation, we used Northside car service several times and found it highly reliable. The apartment is near the corner of 12th and Union, overlooking McCarren Park. When we were there, in mid-May, the well-lighted park was busy with soccer players, joggers and walkers from early morning until long after dark. There is a huge, relatively new public swimming pool as part of the park, the equivalent of a few blocks away from the apartment. The apartment has two enjoyable small terraces, one off the living room and the other off the master bedroom. The apartment and its furniture are showing some small signs of wear and tear, but overall it was an excellent experience and we would gladly stay there again.

It's an easy 10 min walk up to the L line on Bedford should you want to go in to the city, but right next to the hippest neighbourhood in NY should you want to chill / dine / drink locally..... Jun 27, 2019Truly breathtaking views. Comfortable, clean, and modern apartment. Key pass off was easy and host was very accommodating with our check-in / out times. Everything was perfect except for one of the two bathrooms had a hot water issue. Honestly we were so busy enjoying the city we didn't give host a chance to fix it while we were there. Would come back in a heartbeat.
Jun 27, 2019Spacious and clean apartment in a great neighborhood (Williamsburg). The apartment is just a 5 minutes walk from Bedford Avenue, the main street with loads of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. From their it's a 10 minute commute to Soho/Meatpacking and about 20 minutes to Central Park. The place is really spacious and the views are absolutely amazing! And if you're into sports, there's a big running track in the park in front of the place. We used it every morning. The only thing that could be improved to make my 4 stars a 5 star rating is the attention to small details. There are some things that need a little maintenance, e.g. screws that aren't completely fixed, blinds that aren't working 100% smooth anymore. Nothing really big that couldn't be fixed in a days work. Again, if you need a spacious place with great views and easy commute to Manhattan, this is great choice!
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was excellent - great location, amazing view, plenty of space. Fabio was accommodating with check in/out times. It would have been nice to have more than one set of keys since the apartment sleeps 6 people and we weren't always all together, but we made it work. The doorman was rude though and said we weren't supposed to be there...which was weird. But otherwise it was a smooth and great experience! Would stay here again for sure!

Jun 27, 2019Awesome view in this apartment, there's heater n aircon n heater out at e balcony which we loved! Huge tv and all creature comforts. There's also a running track which we utilized! Wifi n cable excellent. Quite a bit of walk to subway abt 10mins (there's metropolitan station / Bedford on L train, Bedford would be nearer apartment) very nice area felt v safe, good groceries store n some restaurants in e vacinity. Would surely recommend! The view is to die for, we are a party of 4, everyone had their own space and we enjoyed e apartment tremendously.

Jun 27, 2019I agree, Fabio's almost-top-floor apartment has the most unbelievable view! A full wall of windows in the living room and kitchen provide a stunning Manhattan ambience to the space, including a cozy but well-appointed, heated balcony. The 2 bedrooms in the back oppositely face out to a beautiful southern Brooklyn view, complete with the master bedroom's additional walk-out balcony with sun-lounger. The master also has a beautiful adjoining bathroom where, leaving the door open, you could shower looking across the bedroom to the same view. The apartment's residential neighborhood near North Williamsburg is also ideal -- only 5 min walk to Bedford (L) subway station, which will get you west to Manhattan's 14St/Union Square station in 3 stops (~8 minutes on board). We also experimented with taxis back from Manhattan: after midnight a cab was $28 from Times Square and $38 from Harlem, before tips. Our group didn't mind paying this since staying in Manhattan with these conveniences (and view) would have been at least $800/night. Fabio's apartment is conveniently only 1 block from Khim's natural grocery store (which was open past 1am on a Friday and has ICE, which was a good find since the apartment does not have an ice dispenser), and there is a heap of cute shops and locales on Bedford Ave too. The cleanliness of the apartment was great considering the previous group left around noon and I needed to check in at 2pm the same day -- I'm convinced this is the only reason a couple of the smaller details were overlooked (some stains on the couch's slip cover, unsightly black scuffs on most of the walls and doors, which I wiped down, so no worries now!). I'm sure with more preparation time these items would have been addressed, but we were excited to begin our stay and were not burdened by these details -- everything else certainly made up for it! Note: responding to previous reviewers, Fabio does provide 2 sets of keys now, and if you want to avoid doorman confrontations (not that we experienced any), it's easy to use the ground-level entrance ("B - basement" on the elevator) as opposed to the main lobby up the front stairs. Oh -- and Fabio provided the FLUFFIEST towels, wow! Another great AirBnB experience indeed.
Jun 27, 2019Fabio's place is stunning. The view is spectacular and the location nearly perfect. It is a short walk to the L train and only a couple of short stops to either the 4,5,6 or 1,2,3 lines to get anywhere in Manhattan. But you might not go to Manhattan at all since Brooklyn is fantastic. Fabio's place is right on the border between Williamsberg and Greenpoint two really great neighborhoods of Brooklyn, and the rest is just a quick subway or better yet bike ride away. The McCarren framer's market is right there at the base of the building on Saturday and is a place you can get wonderful produce, meat and cheeses. The entire experience was delightful. Thank you Fabio gracious host and Bruna his friend who helped with keys etc.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is very large and does have a great view of NYC skyline. However, the apartment was filthy. There are stains in all the couches and beds. The kitchen was dirty and the floors and bathrooms were dirty as well. The owner is in some fight with the building and the bellman told us that we were not allowed to ask anything of the building. It was really strange. I would not recommend staying here.
Jun 27, 2019Our stay was fabulous! The view is amazing. My family and I enjoyed having such a lovely large apartment to stay in rather than a cramped hotel room. The park across the street is perfect for morning jogs or strolls. There was also ice-skating. Great coffee shops, restaurants, bars and gourmet grocery stores very close by. I would definitely recommend this place. There were a few scuffs and marks on the furniture, window treatments and floors but nothing too major. Otherwise, it was pretty clean.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Fabio's apartment for the New Year period and had the most amazing time. I could see all of Manhattan from the living room and everything in the apartment was in working order. Fabio was a prompt communicator and Bruna was very friendly and helpful when exchanging the keys. I had read the previous reviews about the doorman and met him once when we first arrived, he was pleasant enough, but we used the basement entrance for the rest of the stay. My only suggestion is to replace the blinds in the master bedroom, not such a problem in the winter but they would be a little irritating in the summer months. Williamsburg is a fab little town and my vegan friend was in heaven as there are vegan food stores a plenty.

It was one of the features that attracted us to the listing.Street entrance to building is convenient. Neighborhood is great. Comfortable apt. with updated appliances. More attention to detail is necessary to ensure cleanliness and provide adequate supplies, such as toilet paper and bath soap.
Jun 27, 2019Fabio's place was perfect for us; three colleagues traveling to New York City from Norway for an oval weekend of fun and inspiration. The views from the apartment are just as spectacular as they're made out to be, and we had plenty of space: a large lounge/dining/kitchen area, two spacious bedrooms (+ an inflatable double bed) and two full bathrooms. Also, the location couldn't have been better, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, subway station etc. And there's no reason to skip working out while you're there, with the McCarren Park (running track, pool, tennis, skate park etc) right outside. Fabio and his friend, Bruna, were very helpful, and there were no problems with keys or any other issues. One minor thing, though: The apartment smelled of old cigarettes, but nothing a few open windows couldn't fix. We would gladly stay here again, and don't hesitate in recommending it to others.

The condo is huge, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private laundry, kitchen with a view and gorgeous living room. The area is neat as well, lots of colorful characters, interesting shops and tons of places to eat within walking distance. The view of Manhattan at night just takes your breath away. Well worth it! Fabio was also an awesome host. They responded quickly whenever we had a question. Thank you for allowing us to stay here!

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed watching the Manhattan skyline and East River through all times of day and night from the spacious and comfortable living room/dining area/ kitchen. And overlooking McCarren Park's field was another treat, especially if you're a soccer fan. So many pluses: nice building, great location close to subway (1 stop to Manhattan). The entertainment center and wifi are excellent. The master bedroom and bathroom are great, and the kitchen is fine. Only slight downside was the second bedroom and bath, which were a bit below the rest of the apartment, but they were okay for a short stay. We had one problem, which Fabio handled fairly and promptly. He was easy tp work with.

Balcony is a big plus (it's nice to have coffee there in the morning). The place is close enough to everything in Williamsburg. Fabio was very flexible and helped us get the most out of our stay in NYC. We had a great weekend!

The place was the perfect setting for the bridal party to get ready, our first look at each other before the wedding and as our first night as a married couple. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to hang out in Brooklyn with a fabulous cityscape view.

Jun 27, 2019We loved it! the view is way better than pictured and the place felt very spacious. Location is spot on. The host was so fast to get back to us, and very flexible about timings to check in and out. Brilliant to have 2 bathrooms and washer drier too. Highly recommended. Would say that the master bedroom is a bit better than the second bedroom which is a bit smaller, and with not such a good bed, so try and grab that one, if you have a choice!
Jun 27, 2019Indeed a most breathtaking view! The apartment was clean and bright, with central AC (very welcome in August) and all other conveniences. We used it as a staging area and guest accommodations for a wedding, and there was plenty of room for all the women to get ready together before the ceremony. After that, it became a cosy place for our guests to sleep and use as a base for exploring Brooklyn.

Jun 27, 2019Fabio was easy to communicate with and helped us out in NYC when our other host cancelled on us at the last minute. The view from this condo is amazing with sunsets right off the deck. The place was not as clean as I would expect. It seemed as though one of the bed sheets had not been changed as there were stains, make-up and hair all over. This was the room with the mattress on the floor. My husband and I are in our late 40's and really expected more than a mattress on the floor for $500/night. There were no amenities such as soap to wash your hands in the main bathroom or for showering. This was my first Airbnb experience so maybe that is how it is suppose to be. Master bedroom and bath were better but again there was used soap in the shower and no washcloths out for use. I had to find linens in an extra closet and thankfully there were extra sheets and pillowcases. I did email Fabio and he did respond the next day to see if we need maid service but we had already cleaned up everything. This part of Brooklyn is up and coming and it was much more relaxed than Manhattan with lots of great shops and restaurants. A must try is The Meatball Shop. Don't wander too far as you might end up in a BAD neighborhood. Easy subway access to get to anywhere!!

Jun 27, 2019Wy wife and I stayed here with our 8-month old kid and my parents. And we could not have loved it more. The apt is gorgeous, the views breathtaking, the location is supercool and the hosts incredibly friendly and accommodating. We lived in Williamsburg for years, so for us it was a no-brainer. But if you're on the fence about staying in Brooklyn, do not worry. You'll be within a 5 minute walk to a one stop subway ride to the city or a 10 minute cab ride into the Lower East Side. Not to mention Williamsburg is packed with awesome bars and restaurants. Plus, an awesome park with a running track is literally across the street.
Jun 27, 2019Fabio's apartment is lovely and it really does have one of the best views of Manhattan, further enhanced by the green vista of McCarren Park. Our group of four middle-aged women stayed in the apartment for almost three weeks. Both Fabio (who is usually overseas) and his local assistant, Thiago, were friendly and helpful. When I first inspected the apartment, the doorman who buzzed me in was quick to point out that subletting was frowned upon and that we couldn't make any requests of the front desk. Fabio had agreed to give us two sets of keys during our stay but unfortunately the people who checked out before us returned their keys to the doormen (don't do this!), meaning we couldn't access those keys and had to make do with only one set. I thought it would be a problem because of the doormen situation, but they continued to buzz us in when necessary. As long as you don't make a fuss and don't bother the other residents, they will be civil. Note: this is not a building for parties! Pros: Stunning view, quiet location, easy access to transport, park across the road, great neighborhood. Cons: Doormen and some residents seem to resent subletters. Furniture is a bit chipped and showing signs of wear. There was a plumbing emergency and the plumbers told us not to drink the water that came out of the faucet in this building, because the pipes were not good – best to use a water filter jug instead.

Jun 27, 2019We made the perfect choice with this apartment. It's calm and spacious yet instantly homely and the views are insane, stunning! All the excellent reviews are well-founded. Fabio and Bruna were super helpful and answered queries quickly but to be honest we didn't have that many, it was so easy to live here. We stayed for a month and loved the neighbourhood - great vibe, great bars, coffee shops, restaurants, gig venues (check out Rough Trade, some incredible acts here), a wealth of brilliant vintage clothes and furniture shops, indy cinemas etc. It's also quick and easy to get into Manhattan on the L train. There's also a toy room in the building, next to the gym, which our 2 year old daughter loved playing in. And loads in the neighbourhood for kids to do too. The doormen in the building were also very helpful and friendly and the other residents too, we just felt really at home. Thanks Fabio!
Jun 27, 2019We spent two nights as Fabio's place. And it was absolutely brilliant place. Free parking was one of the first things we looked into since it's NYC, Fabio has a private spot in the parking lot right behind the building. The furniture are carefully planed as where they are. The view is also astonishing, looking out from the master bedroom and the living room, as well as the balcony. I highly recommend this place and the host is very helpful and nice.
Jun 27, 2019We booked this apartment that had the most wonderful view over Greenpoint and Manhattan. Well located, close to Bedford and McGuiness. Only thing that was not good was that Fabio let me know just 1 day before arrival that the apartment only had 1 bedroom instead of 2, that was on the description. Since we came to work and I specifically look for 2 separate bedrooms, I was quite upset. Otherwise everything worked just fine. Fabio was on point with everything else. And I could definitely recommend this stay.

Jun 27, 2019This place is in an amazing location. We came for a wedding at My Moon around the corner, and fell in love with the neighborhood. McCarren Park is literally across the street, and the views from both sides of the apartment are beautiful. When we first walked in, we noticed that the apartment furniture is starting to show a few signs of wear, but we were traveling with our daughter and there was a high chair waiting for us, so I can't say it ever crossed our mind again. The only thing that actually bothered me was that the front desk guys (or more likely whoever manages them) made it clear that they were nonplussed about airbnb in general. Fortunately, there's another entrance on street level that was both super easy to navigate with a stroller and had no unhelpful doorman. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Jun 27, 2019Fabio even though was in a different country was very responsive after the booking was made. He linked us up with Bruna who was AMAZING and a wonderful host, without her we would have lost hours of time at the beginning of our trip. The place was beautiful, clean, and had an outstanding view. Plenty of places to eat within minutes walking, off street safe secure parking, and subway to downtown Manhattan in less then 15 minutes from the door step. I would highly recommend this place for future travelers and will be coming back again to visit in the future. We will stay no where else in NYC on all of our future en-devours. Jun 27, 2019Fabio and his assistant, Bruna, were very good with communication beforehand and meeting us on site on arrival. We were a bit surprised however, and disappointed, that a unit with the title, "A breathtaking view..." had scaffolding and a net in front of the windows. We were not advised of this beforehand, nor discounted because of it. This seemed to diminish the unit's main asset. The neighborhood was great with about a five-block walk to a subway station. There was another unfortunate issue - the owner appears to be having an ongoing dispute with the building, resulting in advice by a concierge that their services would not be available to us as guests of this unit. Whether this is true or not, we felt in the middle of a dispute we as guests should not be faced with. When the fob to let us into the building stopped working late on the second day of our stay, I alerted Bruna, and eventually Fabio, to this but we never received a replacement. Luckily, the concierges buzzed us into the building anyway despite the dispute. Finally, another disappointment - the second bedroom does indeed have a king mattress, but it was on the floor. How expensive would it be for the owner to get a simple frame on which to put the mattress? For the price of the unit, we really should not have to sleep on a mattress on the floor. Again, not what a class act should be doing. Although there were good things about this unit, they were outweighed by the disappointments, all of which the owner has the ability to address.

Jun 27, 2019Wir waren mit Fabios Apartment sehr zufrieden und hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in Williamsburg. In dem geräumigen Apartment haben wir uns zu Viert (plus Baby) sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist komplett eingerichtet, es ist alles da, was man im Alltag benötigt. Pech hatten wir lediglich damit, dass die wirklich tolle Aussicht auf Manhattan wegen eines Baugerüsts vor dem Gebäude verstellt war - wofür Fabio aber nichts kann. Im zweiten Schlafzimmer befand sich bei unserem Aufenthalt lediglich eine Matratze auf dem Boden, was für uns aber kein Problem und wegen unseres Babys, das bei uns im Bett schlief, eher von Vorteil war. Ein neues Bett ist aber angeblich bereits unterwegs und sollte während unseres Aufenthalts geliefert werden. Toll fanden wir, dass ein Babystuhl vorhanden war, was uns vieles erleichtert hat. Fabio selber war nicht da, dafür hat uns seine nette Freundin Bruna in Empfang genommen und uns alles erklärt. Wir konnten uns jederzeit an sie wenden, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Bruna hat uns auch erzählt, dass die Doorman nicht sehr gut auf die Touristen im Apartment zu sprechen sind, aber das ist eigentlich kein Problem. Links vom Haupteingang befindet sich ein kleinerer Eingang durch den man ebenfalls ins Haus kommt und somit den Doorman so aus dem Weg gehen kann. Die Verbindung nach Manhatten ist mit dem L-Train problemlos. Aber auch das Viertel rund um die Wohnung ist sehenswert und bietet mit seinen Kneipen, Restaurants und Geschäften genügend unterhaltungswert. Direkt vor dem Haus ist ein Park, der sich bestens zum Sport treiben eignet. Wir können dieses Apartment nur weiterempfehlen.
Jun 27, 2019We had a fantastic stay!! The apartment is beautiful and completely consistent with the photos. There is currently scaffolding in the front of the windows in the living room, but this really didn't detract significantly from the view. Fabio (and Bruna, who we met to get the keys from), were both extremely friendly and responsive. It was also an added bonus to have a parking spot along with the apartment!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay in Brooklyn was a blast. We hit heavy traffic on our way in from Boston, and Bruna was very patient, understanding and accomadating. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views from the balconies on either side of the building. My guests and I ran into an unfortunate issue with the city cutting off the water supply on the morning of our first day in Brooklyn. Not an ideal start to our trip, but Fabio showed what a fantastic host and human being he is, and rectified the situation. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Jun 27, 2019Fabio is a really positive guy. The whole thing went really smooth and even though our flight was delayed, Somebody was waiting for us in the apartment to hand over the keys. The apartment itself is state of the art, very fancy furniture and luxurious bathrooms and kitchen. We loved the balconies as well as the spacious living room. Totally recommend it.

The view is breathtaking to say the least, and it's so convenient to heaps of great bars and cafes. Bruna was such a welcoming host too. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but Manhattan was awaiting!

Jun 27, 2019This was our first Air BnB experience and we were not disappointed. Fabio communicated quickly and clearly, so booking etc was very smooth. The apartment is exactly as advertised, the most amazing apartment, well laid out, all amenities, great location, and the views are way better than the photos which simply cannot do them justice. The only downside, as others have referred to, is the ongoing dispute with the building management. This led to problems in getting access for us, but once we were in, it didn't really affect us at all. We simply exited and entered through the basement. I hope Fabio is able to sort out the problems, as in every other way this apartment is a gem. Even so, I would happily book it again when next in New York. Thanks for a great stay.
Jun 27, 2019Fabios apartment is stunning- truly a gem in New York and more than enough room for two couples traveling together. As others have mentioned, there's an ongoing dispute as Airbnb is, according to the front desk of the apartment, "illegal" (I don't know whether or not it is in New York), which made for an awkward arrival. We were concerned it might affect our stay, however, it did not at all and from that point on, everyone in the building was easy to deal with and lovely towards us. Fabio and his family seemed to be rushing out on holiday upon our arrival, and there were a couple of things that seemed like they may have been forgotten about upon tidying up- food in the microwave, wet towels in the wash, etc- but honestly the view and apartment were so lovely and above our expectations that it was no problem. We hope to visit again soon and would absolutely recommend Fabio and his apartment in Brooklyn.

Jun 27, 2019Fabio and Bruna were super responsive and very accommodating - since there were 4 of us staying in the apartment, all getting in to the city from different locations at different times, that was very useful. The apartment was a great space for us, and in an amazing location. We walked everywhere or took the L, which is less than 10min away. There were plenty of restaurants and bars around. Highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019We loved our stay. The biggest problem is it's hard to leave. Why jump into the rat race of the city when you can view it from the 16th floor. Honestly this was probably one of the best airbnb spots I have stayed in. The only issue was with getting and giving back the key but it worked out just fine. Fabio was very responsive as was the friend helping him while he was out of the country. I would book again for sure.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great time at this appartment. The location is perfect with a fantastic view over Manhattan. The appartment is very nice with a nice balcony. We stayed with the four of us. The walk to the subway takes 5 minutes and 10 minutes later your in Manhattan. Fabio and Bruna are very friendly and everything was arranged very well.
Jun 27, 2019Nous avons aimé l'appartement. L'emplacement était vraiment bien avec effectivement une vue très chouette sur Manhattan midtown. L'appartement se trouve à la limite de Williamsburg et Greenpoint. Proche du metro et du ferry de East river. Plein de clés et restos super dans le quartier. C'est au 16 e etage et plutôt calme, meme si on entend toujours le bruit de fond des express ways mais bon c'est New York. L'appart lui meme nous a un peu déçu et je m'attendais à quelquechose de plus luxueux et soigné compte tenu des photos et du prix par nuit. Le menage était vraiment superficiel et l'appartement aurait besoin de plus d'attention pour être vraiment agréable. En general on a été content mais je ne suis pas sure qu'on reviendra.
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is amazing! The view is incredible. Both nights we didn't even want to leave for dinner. We stayed here with out two year old son and it was very kid friendly. There was a pack-n-play for him to use as a bed. Great location, really nice neighborhood overlooking a park and plenty of places to shop and eat nearby.

We arrived at night and enjoyed a drink on the patio while we enjoyed the beautiful sight of the New York skyline; it was gorgeous. The wall of windows gave us picturesque views the entire weekend. The apartment was perfect for our family of four, very comfortable, and we loved the proximity to McCarren Park. The neighborhood was terrific, very convenient with shops and restaurants and markets close by. We loved the weekend Farmer's Market just one block away! We loved everything about our stay and hope we can come back again! Thank you Fabio!

They were flexible on the times for check-in and check-out, and gave us access to a parking spot for free. If you're interested in staying in Williamsburg this is the place to be.

En revanche sur l'accueil (CHECK IN), Fabio, le propriétaire n'était pas présent, il nous avez laissé les coordonnées d'une Amie qui devait nous remettre les clés à l'arrivée et nous ouvrir l'appartement le jour de l'arrivée et cette dernière n'était pas là. Les clés nous ont donc été remises de façon très impersonnelle et sans accompagnement jusqu'à l'appartement, sur le trottoir, par une personne. C'est un peu dommage. Sinon, tout était parfait. Appartement propre, fonctionnel, en bon état, et la vue sur MIDTOWN de Manathan est fascinante. Le quartier de WILLIAMSBURG est vivant et l'on y trouve énormément de commerces et restaurants à proximité. Expérience à renouveler. Jacques FLOTAT

We really enjoyed the park right across the street, local shops, farmers market and restaurants - and it is only a short walk to the metro if you want to get to Manhattan.
Jun 27, 2019The view from this apartment was exceptional. It was a horribly hot weekend in NYC and the large expanse of windows made you feel as if you were outdoors without having to face the heat. The apartment overlooks McCarren Park where there is alway lots of sports activity but you hear none of the noise on the 16th floor. The neighborhood is wonderful with shops and restaurants close by. The beds were large and comfortable and it was great to have two bathrooms. The sofa bed in the livingroom was also appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Bruna was very flexible on the check-in. My nephew met her at a nearby location to get the key do we wouldn't be delayed after the taxi arrived. The apartment is spectacular with views of McCarren park just below. We particularly enjoyed having coffee on the veranda every morning. The kitchen had all the dishes and other amenities so that we were able to eat in a couple of nights. Overall, this is a great place to stay and enjoy the sites of NYC.

Jun 27, 2019What a fantastic stay in Williamsburg/Greenpoint. Fabios apartment is modern and gorgeous. The best part is the view! The pictures here don't do it justice. It's a large apartment that can easily fit two couples. Great and spacious living space with floor to ceiling windows overlooking McLaren Park and all of Manhattan. Also a nice little balcony from which to take in the view. Located in a great part of town, you are close to all the restaurants and shops on Bedford, but removed enough from the bustle to feel relaxed. Easy access to the subway and to highways. Overall great stay! Would return anytime.
Jun 27, 2019Der Blick aus der Wohnung und die Lage waren hervorragend! Wir fühlten uns zu jeder Zeit sicher und um die Ecke gibt es viele schöne Restaurants, Cafés usw. Auch die Subway ist um die Ecke, so dass die Lage für uns perfekt war. Brooklyn ist richtig toll! Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die zum Teil mangelnde Hygiene. Speziell die Küche/Küchenschränke waren verschmutzt und die Bettwäsche, Handtücher und vor allem die kleinen Teppiche hätten sauberer und frischer sein können. Trotzdem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und würden die Wohnung empfehlen!

We were thrown out of the fitness center by management and the concierge told us that they don't give any service to visitors of this apartment due to difficulties with the owner. Fabio was not there during our stay and his girlfriend was late for checking in and she didn't even show up for checking out although the time was agreed the day before. I did not get any reply to my messages anymore and left the keys at the concierge although I was specifically asked not to do so when I checked in, but what should I do? Even now - one week later - I didn't receive an answer!
Jun 27, 2019This is a beautiful apartment with views that are every bit as striking as the listing suggests and a great location in the heart of Williamsburg. We jogged around the McCarren Park track, shopped at the Saturday farmers market, brunched at nearby bistros, and generally had a swell time. Communication with Fabio was straightforward, and the logistics of key pick-up and drop-off were easy. We'd come back.

My girlfriends were just as impressed as I was. Fabio communicated everything very clearly before our arrival. I've stayed in other homes in Williamsburg and Greenpoint and this was absolutely the best! Thank you Fabio for providing this lovely place for us.

Jun 27, 2019Awesome experience! The host was very friendly and available via (Hidden by Airbnb) at all times. Both check-in and check-out were arranged perfectly. The apartment has a great layout even for 5 and more visitors and the view certainly is breathtaking! There are plenty of shops and restaurants on Bedford ave and the L line is only a few minutes away, so getting in and out of Manhattan is convenient – after this trip I would actually recommend to stay in this area and not in downtown Manhattan because it is much calmer and more convenient for families. If you do so, make sure to stay at Fabio's!

Only thing is one of the porters is a bit rude and very against airbnb people staying (the other was charming). Also only one set of keys available which was inconvenient. That said, stunning place and recommended.

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful view from large windows. Parking was great. Beds are firm (to my liking). Water pressure and temperature good - shower door needs to be adjusted. Several eateries nearby, and Saturday fresh market right out the door, plus friendly dog park. We did not cook, so I do not know about how well the kitchen was stocked. The coffee maker was small, but there was a close-by coffee shop/breakfast restaurant. Be discreet with building staff.

Jun 27, 2019Greenpoint is a great neighborhood that is lively during the day and quiet at night. I found it to be similar to Jamaica Plain in Boston. Unpretenious eateries can thrive. We enjoyed Beco, serving Brazilian food. If Fabio doesn't mention it, McCarren Park is nearby. In addition to some green space, it has a track, racket court, skate park, (and public pool--not sure ~admittance). The view is just as the photograph portrays, from the financial district to uptown. The apartment is roomy and the balconies are just large enough for a few people to gather.

Jun 27, 2019Four words to describe this great apartment: 1. VIEWS - pictures do not do it justice, the views are spectacular!. 2. LOCATION - a quiet, peaceful place with a big park and lots of fun, eclectic walk able restaurants and transportation. 3. PARKING - included, gated and secure. 4. MAINTENANCE - unfortunately, this apartment needs some. Only one of three air conditioning units was operable in the front rooms - it was over 80 F in most of that space (the bedroom units were fine) making it uncomfortable. Master shower door and door knob on bedroom #2 were broken, and several light bulbs were missing and some electrical outlets did not work. There is no available "on-site" service for any of these items.

Jun 27, 2019Not only does Fabio's apartment have a jaw-dropping 270 degree of Manhattan and beyond, it is conveniently located in the hottest neighborhood in Brooklyn, close to the best restaurants, great indie shopping, and easy transportation. It also has the most comfortable mattress of any Airbnb I have stayed in to date. Spotlessly clean and modern, with wifi, cable, powerful A/C and all the comforts of home. I will definitely be back.

Jun 27, 2019Apartment is very spacious and it has an outstanding view of NYC skyline and the East River. It is in a quiet building but it is walking distance to everything in Williamsburg. The "across the street" access to McCaren Park is an added bonus.

Jun 27, 2019The view is as advertised and is simply breathtaking. The location is great and the logistics of checking in and out were smooth. There were quite a number of things in the apartment that were not working (1 AC, shower door, toilet, almost all outlets in master bedroom and bathroom, lights) which was disappointing considering the price.

I went to a concert at The Barclays Center which was a pretty quick Uber ride away. Williamsburg is fabulous! Great restaurants, bars and cool parks. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Jun 27, 2019Fabio's place is stunning! it is clean, in a great location and the view REALLY is amazing. We loved being right by the park, a little bit away from wburg central but still walkable. The place was clean and well stocked. We would stay here again. Suggestions I have/ things to be aware of: there are a few fixtures that aren't repaired in the apartment. Shower door/some doors don't quite close. We didn't use the AC so can't comment on that. This didn't hinder the experience but just an FYI. Additionally, there seems to be some friction between the owner and the building. While we stayed there, we got several comments from the neighbors about the owner's standing with the building, and got a knock on the door trying to serve the owner foreclosure papers. We tried to stay out of it, but would have appreciated a heads up or more clarity around the situation.

Walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops; close to the park; beautiful, clean apartment with AMAZING views, smooth check-in/out process & easy communication with the host. The only downside was some of the outlets not working in the bedrooms, and that there aren’t any nearby subway stations. That aside, I strongly recommend!

Only niggles: Frustrating that plugs don’t work, no kettle and chipped mugs for hot drinks. Loved everything else. Views from apartment are standout.

Jun 27, 2019Fabio has a beautiful apartment with truly amazing views. It is spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed hanging out there. It is in an excellent location, close to shops, restaurants and the subway, with super fast connections to Manhatten. Gaining access and communication with our host Michelle was excellent and she was extremely responsive to questions and issues. The only small negative is that there are a few minor maintenance issues, including those that have been raised in previous reviews, that need to be addressed. However, overall we very much enjoyed our stay - thank you.
Jun 27, 2019Fabio was a fantastic and accommodating host. Check in and check out were extremely smooth and the place has one of the most incredible views. The place was very clean and located close to the L train, which made going back and forth between Manhattan and Brooklyn very convenient.

Jun 27, 2019We gave 16B a very low rating for two reasons. First, its photos and descriptions were very misleading. While the views of the Manhattan skyline were impressive, the apartment itself was rundown and in need of repairs. The furniture was not what was shown in the photos. There were no rugs on the floors which were in desperate need of refinishing and were dirty and stained with grime. The shades in one bedroom were broken and couldn’t be raised or lowered. The bathroom door in the master bedroom was off its rails and couldn’t be closed. There were no functional lights in one bedroom and the door to the outside deck was broken and couldn’t be opened. We were very disappointed given the “hype” of the advertisement. A more accurate description would have been “Rent from an absentee landlord whose interest has waned and whose neighbors are upset.” That’s the second reason we were disturbed by our experience and doubt we’ll rent from AB&B again. We were told by several people that the owner of the unit we rented is in conflict with the condo association in the building and in litigation over maintenance fees. He’s very unpopular with other owners, guests can’t use the work out Room and admit that they are staying in 16B, and can’t leave the keys when they leave the building with the concierge because the owner is so unpopular. My family and I came to Brooklyn for a family occasion, to relax, and see a show. We did not come to take part in someone else’s conflict with his neighbors, profit-making rip off, and another example of the Great American social media scam. Let’s ask for a little integrity in how AB&B treats its customers and its neighbors. I would never want to repeat this experience again.

Jun 27, 2019Great apartment on a fabulous location! Enjoyed Brooklyn a lot; the atmosphere, restaurants, shops, the river-area. With Manhattan only a few metro stops away it is perfectly located. The views are magnificent all around and there's more then enough dining/breakfast choice in the neighbourhood. The apartment is spacious and nicely kept with fine bedrooms, bathrooms and a little balcony with stunning view over Manhattan. Communication is fast, friendly and we were helped with our need-to-knows.

Jun 27, 2019Beautiful apartment, highly recommended. We are a family of five and it suited our needs brilliantly. Facilities in the apartment are excellent and the view is spectacular 24/7. It’s the 16th floor of an 18 floor building, which is one of the tallest in the area. Directly in front is McCarren Park, which means there are uninterrupted views of Manhattan, either from the living room or a small terrace, accessed from the living room. There is a second, small terrace on the other side of the apartment, accessed from the master bedroom. The local neighbourhood has plenty of grocery stores, bars and restaurants. Subway is a 10 minute walk (Lorimer St/ Metropolitan Avenue or Bedford Avenue) but once there it’s a quick ride into Manhattan. We had a fabulous stay.

Jun 27, 2019All about the views and location. Our stay at Fabio’s was quite enjoyable, especially with the living room terrace attached. Unfortunately there were a few unexpected issues with the stay, including burnt out lights in the master bathroom and an unfriendly building staff. The doorman and other employees made it clear that the host stopped paying maintenance fees so in turn would not accommodate us as Airbnb guests, even as far as buzzing in. We understood that the building might be upset over the issues with our host but as Airbnb customers, we had no prior knowledge to this issue or any control. A clear understanding of the situation or a resolution between Fabio and the building fees would be appreciated by future guests!

Very flashy yet homey and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like is that it’s not mine to stay at forever. Wonderful neighborhood, close to the train, quiet building—just perfect.

Jun 27, 2019This condo exceeded my high expectations! First, the views are AMAZING. There’s an entire wall of windows with full Manhattan skyline views. The size of the condo/kitchen was giant, especially for NY standards. The master bath was also beautiful - with a big counter and space for hair/makeup. There are two outdoor spaces/balconies. The elevator was so convenient with our stroller. Huge bonus was the free parking too. The neighborhood was fun, so walkable with many many restaurants and bars. The subway was nearby too. Couldn’t love this place more.
Jun 27, 2019Fabio's place is very spacious (especially by NYC standards), fairly clean, and close to everything. The city views, of course are amazing. It was also nice that we were able to leave our bags before the official check-in time and come back later. The apartment had everything we needed! You'll notice by the number of reviews, that this place is pretty popular – and as a result it's a bit worse for wear. Nothing major, just scuffs on walls, toilet paper holder hanging on by a thread, broken electrical outlets, and general signs of serious wear and tear. For the price, would be nice to get those in shape.

The apartment is very large and accomoddates small gatherings beautifully. The check in and out is very easy. Building staff were very pleasant. I agree with a previous review that it is very clean but shows alot of wear and tear.

Jun 27, 2019Would have gotten 5 stars, but they lose one for the crappy internet, and our 1st morning visit from 4 officers of the NY Department of Housing who were investigating the property's apparent illegal usage as an AirBNB rental. Just a heads up that this is an issue in the building.

Jul 27, 2019We were very disappointed staying in Fabio's place. The day before the move in, we received an email saying the heater didn't work in the 2nd bedroom so they were providing a space heater. We tried this out on our first night, but this one didn't supply even heat throughout the night so our 13-month old son woke up shivering in the middle of the night. The master bedroom heater didn't work well either. It was 65 in the morning although the heater was set for 70. Although they were willing to help, we realised it would take 2-3 days to get this fully sorted and we simply didn't have the time for that because we had important things to take care of in NYC. We moved out after 1 night, even though we had initially booked it for 10 days. I believe airbnb has required them to fix the heater issue before they can accept more guests. Apart from this, the apartment does NOT look like the photos. The sofas are not white. There is now an L-shaped grey sofa and a polka dot armless 2-seater. The dining chairs are now all black leather. The TV in the apartment is maybe a 36" and the one in the photos looks like a 50". The artwork on the walls in the living room and master bedroom are gone and there is no decorative items on the coffee table. They have hung the mirror seen on the floor in the photos on the wall. The photos make the unit look warm, lived-in and stylish, but this is not how it looks in real life. The host really should update the photos. The host told us the photos are 5 years old and that he has improved the furniture. I think it's unfair to rent anything on airbnb that doesn't look like the photos. On a positive note, the view is amazing and just like the photos. The kitchen and bathrooms are fine, the beds are comfortable and there is a washer and dryer in the unit. It's right next to McCarren Park which has so much to offer: running track, playground, outdoor gym and hang out areas. Williamsburg also seems really quaint. We wish we could have experienced all this.
