Quick Summary: Perfectly clean, Great location, Excellent Host. Luke made my New York Experience perfect. The apartment is right in the Hells Kitchen area, 5-minute walk from time square, great food and coffee. Luke was highly responsive to text messages and communication. This will be my top place to stay when I come back.
Jun 27, 2019Luke was the perfect host! He is of extraordinary kindness and very responsive. He was attentive and tried to make our stay as special as possible with insider recommendations. The communication was very good although, unfortunately, we didn't meet in person. His friend, Cliff, who lived two blocks away and was also incredibly nice, handed the keys to us. The apartment is in the middle of the theatre district in the trendy neighborhood, Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, 5 minute walk to Time Square. The subway is just a few blocks away. It is the perfect neighborhood if you are in NYC for the first time, as we were, and if you like to feel the heartbeat of this great city. It is full of delis, bars, cafes, restaurants and, obviously, theaters. We felt very safe at any time and had no problem walking around alone at night. The apartment is even better and bigger than on the photos, tastefully furnished and clean. There is AC, Wifi worked perfectly, the bed is comfortable. Only tiny disadvantage, it is on the 5th floor without elevator and narrow stairs, but that didn't affect our experience. For light sleepers it is recommended to bring earplugs, as AC and the street are quite loud at night. All in all we had an amazing week in NYC, not least due to Luke and his lovely apartment! We would definitely come back again!
Jun 27, 2019We had an absolutely wonderful visit at Luke's apartment! It is literally PERFECTLY located - less than a five minute walk to Times Square, the subway, and no more than 15 to Rockefeller Plaza. The entire city was at our fingertips! The apartment is exactly as described, and it plenty large enough for a couple to share. It was clean, cozy, and that VIEW out of the window at night is incredible. Best part? Luke is warm, hospitable, flexible, and incredible helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Jun 27, 2019Great place - clean, comfortable, apartment, eactly as advertised. I was in the city for business and it was a great space to sleep and work. I didn't meet Luke in person but he gave very clear instructions on how to collect the keys and was easy to reach by text at all times.
Jun 27, 2019Easy to communicate with. Had a minor issue on how to open front door and he got back to us quickly. Easy to pick up keys. Place was as described and very clean. A little loud bc bedroom window on major street but otherwise no complaints. Would stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019Both Luke and his apartment are exactly as described by everyone else--simply fantastic. Luke made everything easy. The apartment is really clean, well laid out, has lots of natural lighting, and is close to just about anywhere you need to go. And I found the walk up 5 flights of stairs to be invigorating.
Jun 27, 2019Apartment is even better than listing depicts! Great size, very clean, comfortable, and "homey". Much larger than I was expecting for a New York apartment. Excellent location!! Convenient walking distance to most "tourist" and midtown areas, and easy train or taxi ride to lower manhattan. Luke was very accommodating and super easy to work with. We absolutely loved staying here, and would definitely stay here again in future trips.

It is a perfect place to rest from the intense days discovering the city, 5 minutes from Times Square and in a neighborhood plenty of bars and restaurants I would definitely recommend ! Luke is attentive and very friendly host.
Jun 27, 2019Luke's place was fantastic!!! Talk about living the NYC life. If you want to know what it is like to live in the BIG city then this is the place. You could not ask for a cooler place, the heart of everything is just minutes away. My daughter had an audition 2 blocks away and Luke's apartment just made the trip that much nicer. She didn't get the part but just staying at Luke's apartment right there was more then pleasing for her. She and I really like to visit NYC. He was a very good host even though he was leaving 2 hrs before we got there. The communication between Luke and myself was great, we ended up texting back and forth the entire time. I would not think twice about staying at his place again.

Jun 27, 2019Luke and his place were fantastic! Easy, clear communication, even with my late arrival. One of the most surprisingly spacious places I've stayed in Manhattan, close to everything, easy to get to from the JFK "E" train, and super clean. Luke was a great host and I hope to be back!

Apartment was clean and organized, fantastic TV in the sitting room, for those evenings where you might want to stay in. I would recommend without hesitation Luke's apartment. Will definitely recommend to friends!

Super easy to walk to Times Square, public transportation, Hell's Kitchen, Bar's, The High Line, Central Park and more. Luke was great to communicate with and super accommodating. Will re-book on my next visit to NYC!

Jun 27, 2019Everything was as expected. The apartment was very central, we walked everywhere. Times Square is really close. Also very close to shops, restaurants, laundromats. All in all it was a great place for the week we spent in NY.

Jun 27, 2019Check in and out really easy. Luke (and his friends who help him with the place when he's away), all made sure that we had the best time in NYC. If you've never been to NYC, you should know it's a really noisy city, and you may want to have earplugs. I think it applies to every place in the city though :) The apartment is great, great comfy bed, great bathroom and living room.
