Within easy walking distance to several train lines (B,Q,F,G,2,3), next to shops and restaurants on 7th and 5th ave, and very close to Prospect Park. The apartment is bright and sunny with wood floors, exposed brick, and intricate wood work. We're a pretty quiet, grandma-type group. We don't party often, or drink too much, except for a good single malt. We welcome good conversation and good company! The neighborhood is very family friendly, with lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Prospect Park is a great place for a bike ride, run, or stroll. The nearby trains are the B,Q, 2, 3, F, and G. We are also passionate about literature, comic books, and travel.

The place is in a beautiful building, nice stone architecture. It's a walkup, up three flights, so keep that in mind. The neighborhood is beautiful. It's quite gentrified, but there are still some cheaper food joints. It's not totally soulless. Park Slope is also about as safe as you can get. It feels more that way than much of Manhattan. The place is in the middle of the neighborhood, so it's a 7 minute or so walk from any of the three train stations, which is a bit far. But those three stations offer five unique lines, so you can get to many places without transfers. Certainly to the major stations in Manhattan. The roommates are extremely nice and welcoming. We chatted a few times and they do their best to make the experience a pleasant one. They said I could use their dishes, eat their food, watch Netflix on their PS4, and all that. Very nice, and not really expected from strangers! The room is small but just fine. The main problem was that it didn't have air conditioning. There's no AC in the apartment as a whole, and nor is there in the room. There's a fan, but that doesn't go very far when it's over 80 and the air source (an alley) doesn't get wind and tends to stay warm. AC would make this an excellent listing.
