Jerry was a great and attentive host. He was able to accommodate my last minute request. The space is well located near 2 subway lines, and is really comfortable!

Jun 27, 2019Jerry was a great host.. He was always available via text and responds within minutes, even super late on a Saturday night! The apartment is very spacious, nicely decorated, and is located in a quiet neighborhood in an old building built in the 1930s. Keeping that in mind, the floor creaks when you walk on it and the walls are super thin.. you can hear the neighbors in the apartment above you and right next to you so you often find yourself tip toeing and whispering to avoid making any noise yourself. Other than that, it was an overall pleasant stay, easily accessible by subway with the M train only a 5 min walk away and the L train only 10 min away.

Jun 27, 2019Jerry was the perfect host. Very easy to contact and quick to answer. The place is big, close to the subway and some delis where you can find food 24/24 ! I spent a very great time with my girlfriend :)

Jun 27, 2019My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Jerry's place. We took a little walk the evening we got there to grab some groceries and we saw little kids dancing on the sidewalk, and we knew we were going to like our stay. The neighborhood felt very safe no matter how late we got back. Jerry's place is huge. We utilized the office area and the wardrobe provided. The kitchen has everything you could need. The only things to consider would be that it gets pretty warm in the apartment in the summer, Jerry provided fans and we were pretty comfortable. Also, the shower is a bit finicky. But those are easy concessions to be made when it's so convenient to the train, many groceries and restaurants, and you feel safe. Last but not least, Jerry is awesome! Super easy to communicate with and a really nice guy. We didn't need his help a whole lot (except for when we accidentally unplugged the internet), but he checked on us and made sure we were enjoying our stay. I would definitely recommend Jerry's Place to anyone and everyone!

Jun 27, 2019loved his place! very clean and well kept. lots of cool decorations, books and even had a plug to hook your phone to tv which was neat. nice area with restaurants and small markets within walking distance. easy to get around and felt very safe in his area even late at night. very responsive and checked in to make sure we had a great trip. jerry is an awesome host and would absolutely recommend for visiting in nyc!
Jun 27, 2019Jerry's place was perfect if you don't mind (we didn't) a 10 minute walk to and from the subway. Jerry's apartment was huge, clean, and had everything you could need. The neighborhood is safe and incredibly vibrant. I would recommend this place to everyone looking to visit the city but stay away from the hub bub.
Jun 27, 2019I had a great experience staying at Jerry's apartment. Jerry is responsive when communicating. The apartment is within walking distance to the L and M trains. Also close to grocery stores, coffee shops and laundry mats. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood. All cooking supplies (pots, pans, spatula, spices) were available. There was also a good quality blender for smoothies. An Apple HDMI adapter is there to watch movies on TV. Affordable price for someone who wants to stay in Brooklyn.
Jun 27, 2019Jerry war wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Appartement liegt nah an der M und L Train, welche direkt nach Manhattan fahren (Fahrzeit zum Times square circa 40 Minuten). Die Nachbarn kann man jedoch hin und wieder hören, da das Gebäude schon etwas älter ist.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is decent. Some minor fixes can make it a lot better. The location is about 45 mins from Times Square and situated in a nice area in Ridgewood. Overall it was a good stay!
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is in a good location in ridgewood, a peaceful neighborhood with a lot of families. The apartment itself is pretty calm and modest- there didn't seem to be wifi, the bed is ok. A good place to come back and fall asleep after a long day. Jerry is communicative and nice.

Jun 27, 2019Jerry's place was very good - very spacious for a New York apartment. The kitchen has everything you'll need to make quick meals and we found the house clean and tidy. The location is a bit far from the typical tourist spots, but I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable place to stay.
Jun 27, 2019Jerry's place was very clean, and very warm! Which was very nice since it was freezing outside during our stay. He met up with us in a very timely manner and even went out of his way to get us a bottle of champagne for the New Year. The place was very close the public transportation and it's in a decent neighborhood. I would definitely recommend his place to anybody!

Jun 27, 2019Thanks for the great accommodations, Jerry. The place was as advertised, homey with lots of interesting touches. The kitchen had a ton of things we were able to use when we cooked and the bed was comfortable. There were some audible noises coming from other apartments but even that had some old school appeal. My boyfriend and I also really enjoyed the neighborhood and tried a few of "Jerry's Picks" which were all very cool. Definitely would recommend to a friend.
Jun 27, 2019Jerry is een geweldige host. We konden niet anders dan laat inchecken (vanwege het uur waarop we landen in JFK Airport). Hij maakte er geen enkel probleem van. Ook antwoordde hij onmiddellijk op mijn berichten en checkte hij af en toe of alles naar wens verliep. Zijn appartement bevindt zich dicht bij enkele metrostations (enorm handig om Manhattan te gaan verkennen) en is gelokaliseerd in een rustige en veilige buurt, voorzien van vele winkels, ontbijtzaken, etc. Je vindt er voor elk wat wils. Het appartement bevond zich in een oud gebouw met houten vloeren, wat wel zijn charmes had. Het was proper en voorzien van alles. Het enige minpuntje voor ons was dat we de verwarming niet konden regelen. Ze sloeg 's nachts plots aan en dan kon je niet meer goed slapen door de warmte (het was er verschrikkelijk warm). Helaas kon Jerry hier niets aan doen. Hij gaf ons wel de tip om de ramen open te zetten.

Jun 27, 2019Great stay at Queens, the flat is cozy and has everything you may need. The neighbourhood is calm and with some delicious coffees and restaurants near by. From there is super easy to get to Manhattan or Brooklyn. Jerry is a great host, and super easy to communicate with.

Jun 27, 2019Le logement de Jerry est situé dans un quartier résidentiel proche de 2 lignes de métro qui vont directement à Manhattan. Le quartier est calme, et les voisins silencieux. L"appartement est petit et peu lumineux mais cela lui donne un petit coté cosy. Depuis l'aéroport , l"accès n"est pas possible directement par shuttle, il faut prévoir soit un taxi, soit un shuttle sur Manhattan puis le métro.

Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Jerry's place was great! It felt extremely homey. The only downside would be the closeness of an a commecting but blocked off apartment near the bedroom. Other than that, everything was perfect and convenient and Jerry was a great host!!

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed staying at Jerry’s place! It feels like a real home, not a hotel, and was clearly put together by people with passion for music, culture, and politics. Jerry was an excellent communicator. I would recommend his place to others, but beware that sleeping without air conditioning during New York summer is not for the faint of heart!

Jun 27, 2019Great apartment, I’ve been there 10 days with my gf to visit NYC. The location is fine, it’s less than 10min by walk to a metro who go direct to manhattan. And the neighborhood is fine you’ll not visit a lot of things just next to the apartment but it feel secure and have some useful shops. The apartment is tall and clean, and I appreciate the fact it’s fully furnished, to cook for example. And Jerry was a nice and accommodating host. Anyway, I recommend !

Jun 27, 2019Unterkunft ist betagt. Nachbarwohnungen sind hellhörig. Super Anbindung nach Manhatten. Vom JFK zur Unterkunft war es schwierig mit dem Bus. Fahrt kostet 11 Coins p.P., aber wir hatten nur Scheine getauscht und mussten das Geld erbetteln. Also falls ihr mit den Öffis fahren wollt, erwerbt vorher Metrokarten an einem Automaten auf dem FH und ladet die auf. Je Fahrt 2,75 USD. Jerry war super nett und hat auf uns gewartet, weil wir später kamen, weil der Flug und die Busse später kamen. Tausend Danke dafür! :-)
Jul 27, 2019A warm and cozy cabin experience is exactly what this place offers. This is a great getaway from the pace of the city, providing well deserved rest after a full day. The feeling of waking up, walking up seneca and getting breakfast was a joy to experience. Additional amenities for my stay included toothpaste (rare) and puzzle. There was a ghostbusters puzzle in progress and taking time to place pieces towards the big picture was very relaxing. Maybe you who are reading this will be the ones to complete the puzzle!
Jun 27, 2019I would absolutely recommend this place. The entire apartment is yours, including a private bathroom. There is a apple tv that includes Netflix so you have some entertainment. And most importantly, the apartment is very clean. My one minor take back is that the bedroom is connected to another apartments bedroom and is only divided by a single close door so, you can hear every single word and foot steps on the other side, and of course vice versa. But overall I enjoyed my stay.
