    Terrific host with welcoming and friendly roommates. Checked in consistently to ensure I was having a good stay (and I was). Room and whole apartment were clean and well kept. Would absolutely recommend for a stay in Gramercy.

    If u ever have a chance to stay at Smit's place- don't hesitate! I initially booked a room for two weeks, but due to changes in my schedule I was extending my stay, and spent total of a bit more than three weeks. Smit was very understanding of my situation and did a great job to accommodate me. He was super responsive and everything went smoothly. If you book Smit's place you can be 100% sure that everything will go as planned. No fear of sudden cancelation or unpredictable surprises. That is huge since lots of Airbnb hosts tend to cancel on you without any explanation. Apartment is great, located in the middle of everything and Smit's room is quite spacious by NYC standards. Oh, and the best part of the apartment are Smith's roommates. They are smart, chill, respectable, thoughtful, worldly, and lots of fun. They really added a special touch to my NYC experience with their energy, music taste and stylish roof tops with gr8 cocktails. Two thumbs up for #44 Crew! Long story short: Micheline 3-star place to stay.

    Excellent experience. Smit communicated very well, asked when I was checking in, and ensured his roommates would be there to receive me (while providing their contact information). The apartment is in a great location in Gramercy, the room is spacious for one and usable for two, with a good patch of common space, and the wifi works.
