This place is beautiful! The decor is awesome and the location is so walkable. We enjoyed every second of staying in this flat. The only issue we found was the sound from the pharmacy entrance bell downstairs. But that was the only, tiniest complaint. Loved the balcony and the street!

Jun 27, 2019Great apartment, great neighborhood. It's just a little bit away from the city center, which made it great. Many local taverns, cafes, bakerys and fruit markets nearby. The apartment was clean and very functional. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. With the Metro nearby it was very easy to get around, no need for a car. Because we were not in the city center things were much more inexpensive. We would just walk the neighborhood and if something smelled good we'd stop for a meal in a local eatery, every meal we had was just great. Local fare and great drinks. Everywhere we went, the people were very nice and helpful, even when we couldn't speak the language very well. Barcelona is a great city with great people, even with the Independence vote going on. The general strike was kind of a pain, but we dealt with it. Very safe city as long as you didn't look like a pickpocket victim. We'd love to go back. Thanks again to our hosts. I recommend them highly to others, we will try to use them in the future.
Jun 27, 2019What a lovely place to stay when visiting Gracia, Barcelona. The location is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of cafes and bakeries in walking distances. Ramon had his colleague arrange a Taxi service to come meet me at the airport. They came early and had a sign with my name on it. Excellent service. I was also greeted by another colleague when I arrived to the property. This is such a wonderful touch by Ramon to make it a stress free arrival. The flat itself has all the modern conveniences and is tastefully decorated. I loved it! Note, you are not in the hustle and bustle of the city. This is the best part. You get a chance to live the the life of a Catalonian. Park Guell is about 15-20 minutes in walking distance... it took me 20 because it is up hill. Truly, you are 15 minutes away from all sites. The Taxi service is very convenient and at great prices. In the late afternoons, I would take a break and return to the flat, open up the balcony windows and just sit and relax. Such a comfortable place. Ramon's colleague Maria also arranged a Taxi service for my return to the airport. Same gentleman, came early. I loved my stay at Ramon's place. Thank you!
Jun 27, 2019Everything was great. It is a very nice and quite cosy appartment. Very clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and soft ;). The area is great and well communicated. Its not the city center but close to a metro line and you get an authentic feeling of a real catalan neighbourhood. I would definately stay there again.
Jun 27, 2019Ramon was very responsive and the key exchange was easily coordinated. I called when my flight got in and his colleague Julia met me promptly at the apartment. The apartment itself was extremely clean and had everything I needed. I appreciate that soap and towels were included. Also, I didn't need it, but having an extra set of keys was a nice touch. Location was perfect! So many good bars and restaurants within walking distance. Much preferred staying here than closer to the city center. Felt more authentic and less touristy in a good way. Would highly recommend staying here!

Jul 27, 2019Ramon has been a wonderful host. Our flight was delayed a few hours and we arrived way after midnight, but the check-in was not a problem. The location is absolutely amazing - lots of shops and cafes nearby, also close to attractions. The aa RT meant unselfish is very clean, spacious and convenient (for a couple). Will be looking forward to staying here next time I’m in Barcelona!

Jun 27, 2019The check in and the communication was very good communicated. The district Gracia was like expected, not the city center but a safe and pretty. However, all the walls were quite dirty which ruined the pretty apartment little. The mattress was quite old and way to soft, after 5 nights my back hurts little. Lastly, the hot water wasn’t sufficient enough for two people, which was quite annoying. All in all okay but space for improvement.
Jun 27, 2019The neighborhood is very nice and calm. You can do many excursions on foot from there. Many restaurants and bars nearby. Also public transports. We received a friendly welcome and got some good tips from Julia. In the apartment there is everything you need to feel comfortable. Only two things should be mentioned: The bed is not kingsize, its maybe 1,40 m and the mattress was too soft for us. The balcony is very small - you can't have breakfast on it...Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and would love to come again. Next time with a new mattress?!? ; )

Jun 27, 2019Schöne Unterkunft mit neuer Ausstattung. Wunderbar für ein reisendes Paar geeignet. Das Bett ist nur etwa 1,5 m breit und verfügt über eine gemeinsame Bettdecke. Für drei Personen finde ich die Unterkunft zu klein. Das Schlafsofa ist zudem im Wohnraum und bedingt den Durchlauf zum Badezimmer für die anderen Reisenden. Zu zweit super! Übrigens funktioniert dorthin auch wunderbar die maytaxi App mit Vorbestellung...
Jun 27, 2019A small and cosy apartment in the relatively quiet neighbourhood of Gracia :) a comfortable holiday pod for 1 or 2. Its kitchen is considerably well stocked. Although the aircon was rather noisy and the stairs up are quite narrow/squeezy, hence watch out if you're carrying heavy luggage to and fro (no fault of Ramon, though!).
Jun 27, 2019A great apartment from which to enjoy our five nights in Barcelona. The accommodation was modern, clean and attractive - perfect for a couple. We easily walked and caught the metro into central Barcelona in a few minutes to all the major sights. We especially LOVED the local neighbourhood and local residents as we visited the bars, cafes and restaurants in the plaza around the corner just a few metres away. Shops, bakeries, supermarket, speciality cheeses and jamon everything just as the locals were doing. It was a delight and we felt sad to leave.

Jun 27, 2019Great location and cute, updated apartment. The neighborhood is trendy, accessible and a really nice way to see the “real” side of Barcelona. Julia met us and was informative and very friendly. The only issues: The actual bed was a full, difficult for two people when one is pregnant (and when the listed bed was larger). The air conditioner was untenably loud when the fan went above the lowest setting (we noticed a previous review that reported the issue and it wasn’t fixed; in fairness, we did not report it during our visit).
