A great location and apartment. A very simple room and bed, but all you need to stay in barcelona. Darko doesn't speak much english but was very accomodating

Jun 27, 2019Careful it's unit 16 not 14. Airbnb has a typo when I printed confirmation slip. Darko was an amazing host. He went above and beyond, let me hold my luggage an entire extra day while I was exploring the city and waiting for a companion to make larger reservations for two. His wife even sowed my leather fanny pack that ripped on my way there. Location! Location! Location! Close to metro station and right in the middle of all the action at La Rambla. The roof top terrace was great for tanning and totally worth the flights of stairs up. Terrific value overall. Would definitely stay there again!
Jun 27, 2019Darko was een vriendelijke gastheer. Ik belde bij aankomst aan en hij kkwam gelijk om te helpen de koffers naar boven te brengen.Hij gaf gelijk aan van mijn huis is ook jou huis. Hij gaf bruikbare tips mbt superparkt, bezinswaardigheden. Locatie was perfect, 2 minuten lopen van La Rambla. Je kon lopend veel bezichtigen. We gingen samen naar Placa Espanya (Font Magica) en Montjuic. Het was echt prachtig en ook leuk dat hij het met plezier deed. Het was eeen mooi gebaar. Ook bij vertrek bracht hij mijn koffer naar benenden en dat om 7 uur in de ochtend. Darko bedankt.
Jun 27, 2019Buena tardes, Quiero contarles a todo mi experiencia en el tiempo que estuve hospedado en el apartamento de Darko. Realmente las espectativas se cumplieron, me sentí realmente en familia, el apartamento pequeño, pero organizado ,limpio y con una gran terraza, además puedes gozar de tranquilidad y privacidad. El apartamento es muy centrico, a solo unos pocos metros de uno de los paseos principals de Baercelona " La Rambla", el barrio muy tranquilo y con muyaccceso a tiendas y lugares historicos, como museos , etc.
Jun 27, 2019Darco's sweet home is right in the old town center, location is so good and convenient. But it's on the topest of the building without elevator, you might think about it if you have huge and heavy luggage. Everything is good except the bathroom is a bit tiny. Darco is so nice though he speaks not much English, he is generous to share everything. Thank you so much for hosting and your hospitality, I really have a wonderful experience in Barcelona :D

Jun 27, 2019After a delayed flight, darko welcomed me to his home with open arms. He immediately made it clear that is house was my house as we chatted and got to know each other. His flat was just what I needed and being on the small scale didn't matter one bit because of the large sun terrace that played a central part to the apartment. The flat was in central raval and everything was in walking distance. It was more than a room in air b and b with darko making tea and coffee in the morning and pointing me in the direction of everything I needed.

Jun 27, 2019Darko's flat is very close to a lot of attractions( 15 mins to Gothic area, 2 mins to Palau Guell, etc). The flat is on the sixth floor and there is no lift. The room is simple and good for the price. Darko was a very good host. He welcomed me with a nice cocktail! I recommend Darko for travellers.
Jun 27, 2019Staying at Darko's place was one of the best things in Barcelona. He is such a friendly person. I enjoyed the times we were sitting on the terrace and talking. Also the room was nice - clean and tidy. Also, the flat is directly in the city center. Perfect location, not far from la Rambla.

Jun 27, 2019Darko was courteous from the very start as soon as I requested to stay with him. He made sure I could find the way to his place and made sure I was situated, even though he did not speak much English. Darko is extremely amiable and welcoming, which are traits of a great host! He was helpful with pointing me in the right direction in regards to sightseeing or just having fun around town. I highly recommend staying with Darko if you would like to live near a bustling area for a few nights. His rooftop terrace is definitely worth the climb up the apartment building.
Jun 27, 2019Darko is a very great host. I spent six days in his flat and everything was perfect. I highly recommend his place for those looking for somewhere to stay while visiting Barcelona. His flat is ideally located - walking distance to La Rambla, the beach, and many other must-see tourist spots. Darko was all the time very friendly and ready to help. So I felt myself very welcome from the first step in the flat. I also really enjoyed the conversations with him on the amazing terrace. All in all, a very positive experience. I would be happy to stay again in his place when I come back to Barcelona! Muchas gracias Darko y hasta pronto!!!
Jun 27, 2019I find the location is the best. The room also is as the photo. But.. 1- He doesn't speak any English. (He could have mention this before i arrive) 2- The appartment is in the 5th or 6th floor. (He could have mention this before I arrive) 3- He smokes in the appartment which isn't a good thing for me, or any other non smoker guests in the appartment. ( He could either mention that from the begining or smokes in the terasse while the non smoker guests are there) 4-There are two buildings in the street with the number 16. (He could mention that he is in the one that is nearer to the La Rambla)

Накормили, напоили, на море сводили. Дарко провел пару экскурсий по городу, посоветовал кафе, рестораны, где можно недорого и вкусно перекусить и приятно провести время. Отдых прошел на 5+
Jun 27, 2019Очень маленькая комнатка, можно сказать, без окна. 7 этаж, лифта нет. Летом невероятно жарко, особенно спать с закрытой дверью нереально. В комнате есть маленький вентилятор. Душ и туалет находятся на площади 1 кв.м., так что крупному человеку сложно будет помыться. Дома очень чисто и хозяин крайне гостеприимен, приятен в общении. Пара минут до Рамблы и метро, это самый центр, расположение замечательное. Вариант для тех, кому важно недорого переночевать в дружеской атмосфере в самом сердце Барселоны. Спасибо Darko за быстрые ответы и гостеприимство!
Jun 27, 2019I've had a very nice week in Barcelona and I stayed in Darko his house. I had a good stay and I had everything I needed and I could use everything I wanted. Darko is a very friendly man, he was a good host and he respected my privacy. The balcony is very nice and a big plus for his apartment. He can't speak English, so I didn't talk that much with him, because it didn't go that wel haha but with some handsigns we always worked it out! The apartment is really close to the Rambla and placa reial, very good situated. I would recommend people to stay here. Although you have to walk some stairs to get to his place, but if you don't mind that, then it's not a problem at al!

Jun 27, 2019Le logement correspond aux photos ! La chambre est très petite mais très bien pour passer un week-end ou quelques nuits solo. La douche et les toilettes sont dans la même pièce. La terrasse est parfaite pour manger et se reposer ! Darko est un hôte parfait, il m'a aidé à monter mes valises, m'a fait sentir comme chez moi. Il est très accueillant et fait tout pour nous venir en aide :) Je recommande sans hésitation !

Darko will give you a great welcome. Place is little bit hard to find the first time, but Darko will walkyou, literally, to the place.

Jun 27, 2019Darko responded to all my messages instantaneously and offered me a drink on arrival. He made it clear from the start that his home is my home for the duration of my stay and that's how I felt. He's very friendly and his command of English is good enough for him to respond to my questions or to have some basic conversation (not sure why some people have picked on this as some kind of deficiency, it's not and he certainly tries his best). The bathroom is tiny but sufficient. His terrace offered a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you Darko.
Jun 27, 2019Darko é um host respeitoso e discreto. Ele ajudou no que foi solicitado e deu as orientações de lugares bacanas pra ir. A localização é ótima, perto da Rambla e de alguns museus. O único problema, para quem não tem boa mobilidade, é o fato da moradia ficar no sexto andar, sem elevador. Por outro lado, o terraço é muito agradável!

Jul 27, 2019En vacances avec mon fils, nous avons été très bien reçus par notre hôte, chez qui on se sent bien. Situé en plein centre, on a pu profité aisément de nombreux centres d'intérêt. L'appartement est dans une rue calme, avec une terrasse qui permet de profiter du climat, en oubliant l'effervescence de la ville juste en dessous. La salle de bain est petite certes, mais on retiendra avant tout, l'accueil et la gentillesse de Darko.

Jun 27, 2019I contacts Darko straight after he accepted the booking to say that I had infact already found another room but forgot to cancel his booking and asked if he would kindly refund it and he said do it through air bnb which meant no due to the terms and conditions so my mistake. But If that's the case and I won't get a refund then by the same token I won't cancel the booking and give someone free money. My right.

Jun 27, 2019Darko is very welcoming, makes us feel at home, accommodating for arrival and departure. I didn't speak any Spanish, but we were able to exchange with a few words of English. The room is small but the layout and decoration make it very comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but everything is clean. Located on the 6th floor (no elevator), in a quiet area, 5min from the cathedral, right next to the Rambla, it's very convenient! I strongly recommend a stay at Darko's.

Otro lujo de ese piso sencillo es el mismo Darko. El y su esposa son huéspedes excepcionalmente acogedores y amables: Darko me esperaba abajo para subirme la maleta, durante mi estancia de 2 dias él y su mujer generosamente me ofrecieron café turco y sangría, charlas y sonrisas….Recomiendo el piso de Darko!

Jun 27, 2019Chambre conforme aux photos, petite mais bien équipée avec un rangement, un miroir, un porte manteau et une fenêtre avec double vitrage. L'appartement est propre et la salle de bains petite mais fonctionnelle. La cuisine est fonctionnelle aussi et la terrasse est géniale pour les repas ou prendre l'air. Darko est un super hôte, agréable, arrangeant, je me suis vraiment sentie à l'aise chez lui. L'appartement est au sixième étage sans ascenseur mais Darko m'a aidée à porter ma valise. La rue est fréquentée nuit et jour mais la chambre donne sur une cour très calme. Les ramblas et le métro Liceu sont à 4 min à pied. J'y retournerai sans hésiter!
Jun 27, 2019La habitación es básica. Para pasar una o dos noches o si se busca algo realmente económico en un sitio muy central. Tiene una terraza de fácil acceso, no hay ascensor y son varios pisos (es altillo). Darko esta muy atento a la llegada, necesidades y es una persona amable.

Jun 27, 2019La ubicación es óptima, muy cerca de Las Ramblas y del metro. El único problema son los 6 pisos de escalera que hay que subir para llegar al apartamento. Darko es un gran anfitrión, dejando a los huéspedes bien a gusto.

Jun 27, 2019Darko communicated well and was happy to allow me to check in when it suited me. He is kind and helpful. The location if his apartment incredible, it directly of la Rambla, you could not be better positioned. The apartment is at the top of many flights of stairs, I did not mind this at all, but if you have mobility issues, it would be a consideration. The bathroom facilities are clean but very small and basic, but the kind host and great location makes up for that.
Jun 27, 2019Quarto confortável numa excelente localização! O anfitrião é muito simpático e disponível, respeitando o espaço dos hóspedes. Ajuda a carregar a bagagem até ao cimo dos 110 degraus que é preciso transpor até este sótão sem elevador. O terraço é divinal. O apartamento é todo pequeno mas não falta nada essencial, permite uso de sala e cozinha.

Jun 27, 2019Quarto simples, num apartamento simples, que esta maravilhosamente bem localizado. O Darko é tremendamente prestável, simpático e responde rapidamente a todas as mensagens. O apartamento tem 3 quartos (2 Airbnb e outro do Darko), 1 wc pequenino (Mas que tem tudo o que é necessário). Tem Tb uma varanda com uma vista muito bonita sobre a torre de Colon. Uma opção relativamente econômica e certamente agradável pra ficar em Barcelona. Ter em atenção que fica num 6o andar sem elevador (pra mim nunca significou um problema). A casa é limpa e o ambiente é muito agradável. A 2 minutos das Ramblas, do Palau Guell, Liceo. Recomendo.

Jun 27, 2019This was a really great value for the money. The location is incredible, close to so many things, easy to walk a ton of places and close to public transit for things further out. It is small and there are a lot of stairs but it's a small inconvenience. If you're planning on being out in the city anyways it is a comfortable and safe place to rest and keep your things. The host was very kind and welcoming, even when my flight was delayed, he was so accommodating the entire stay. This was a great option for staying in Barcelona. It isn't luxury but it is much nicer than near anything else you could find in the price range. Would highly recommend.

Jun 27, 2019这应该住过最棒的小家了,就是主道上,旁边有营业到很晚的Pizza店,所以一个人旅行肚子饿也不用怕,距离兰布拉道非常近,很安全 房东是个很好的帅大叔,订完房间就立刻联系我了,把房子收拾的一尘不染,床单每天换,离开时留在阳台查讯息,大叔用了三个小时在收拾房子,好细心!阳台充满阳光还有房东看护的小鸟伴奏,好幸福!

Jun 27, 2019Darko is a fantastic host. The flat is quite cozy but if you're just using it as a small place to stay while you're exploring the city, it's perfect. There's a great little terrace that gets the morning sun, so if you're travelling in summer you can sip a coffee, or a sangrea, out there and take in the sounds of the city. One thing to note is that there's a second room which may mean that you're sharing the flat with others during your stay, but if you're up for meeting new people, again that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Also, if you're travelling in early spring like I did, the flat can get very cold. Darko gave me additional blankets and a storage heater so it was warmer, but just it's something to note. Either way, I would definitely recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Darkos welcomed me with a Serbian spirit upon arrival. The home is in a great location and very easy to get to all of the main attractions. The terrace is amazing and by far the stand out reason I booked Darkos home. Darko is very nice and check in and out was very easy. I would stay here again if I return to Barcelona.

Jun 27, 2019Great communication from Darko. My flight was delayed badly and I arrived in the early hours of the morning. He was perfect and told me not to worry. Easy to find, just off La Rambla. Right at the very top of stairs. Great balcony for open air space. The place is small but adequate, a different sort of shower, bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and Darko was really kind and a very nice host. I found my stay to be just what I needed. Thanks Darko.

Jun 27, 2019Den Aufenthalt habe ich als sehr angenehm empfunden. Darko war sehr nett. Und auch die anderen Mitbewohner. Am Abend auf der Terrasse zu sitzen ist einfach super. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut, zu den nahenden Bars und Clubs. Die Wohnung ist einfach eingerichtet, hat aber alles was man braucht. Ein superextradetail: auf der Terrasse ist eine Außendusche! Also echt klasse bei heißen Temperaturen. Ich würde wieder buchen!
Jun 27, 2019Darko is a great host. I came later than communicated due to transportation issues but Darko waited and welcomed me with a great smile even though he was already late for his work. This place is on 5th floor, so be ready to have a good work out. I visited during peak summer time, so the weather was really hot and place being on terrace got more hotter.
Jul 27, 2019Darko is a good host, helpful with suggestions as well as carried my bags for me... the room was very small but adequate. It would have been helpful to know that the flat was soooo many flights up! Also, if you’re short, be aware that you might need to stand on top of the toilet to flush it as the flusher is all the way near the ceiling!

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Darkos' home for 5 nights. He was very hospitable, he even helped me with my luggage up and down the stairs at the beginning and end of the stay. The place is easy to find, just showed the taxi driver at the airport the (Hidden by Airbnb) maps location. The room was perfect for me as a solo traveller. Only 200m from La Rambles, heaps of great restaurants and bars just s short walk away. A great value place.
Jun 27, 2019Darko is a kind, helpful host. The room is exactly as advertised. The location is unbeatable though, a minute away from Las Ramblas and public transportation. It was a great launching point to explore the city. The apartment is up about 5 floors of stairs.

Если нам что-то требовалось-писала Дарко и через 10 мин все получала))) (тёплое одеяло, штопор и тд). Расположение шикарное-в самом центре 2 минуты от Ла Рамбла. В пешей доступности все! Магазины, кафе, достопримечательности! Комнатка маленькая, но не едут в Барселону чтоб сидеть дома)) Единственное, что стоит отметить: квартира на верхнем 7 этаже и нет лифта! Со спящим ребёнком 2 года подниматься было то ещё удовольствие... зато все наведённые калории сжигались
Jun 27, 2019Satisfaite d'avoir séjourné dans cet petit appart mignon et fonctionnel et Darko est quelqu'un de sympathique, sociable, ayant le sens de l'hospitalité et du service. Le coin terrasse est MAGNIFIQUE!!! Que ça soit pour les petits-déjeuner du matin ou les soirées détente le soir. L'espace est grand avec des assises sous différents niveaux, du coup on peut profiter à plusieurs du beau/bon temps du sud tout en ayant en échos, l'ambiance extérieure.
Jun 27, 2019Diese Wohnung von Darko ist sehr zentral gelegen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr gut zu Fuss oder per Metro erreichbar. Die Beach und der Hafen nicht weit entfernt. Barcelona ist eine wundervolle Stadt , jung, aufregend , spritzig und immer eine Reise wert. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Jun 27, 2019Alojamiento cerca de La Rambla , un sector muy turístico. El departamento está en el octavo piso y no hay ascensor; habitación pequeña pero cómoda . El baño también es muy pequeño .Darko es bueno para conversar y aclarar dudas sobre la ciudad.

Jun 27, 2019I had a good experience spending five nights in Darko's apartment. Darko is an excellent, very friendly host, who communicates very well . The location of the apartment could hardly be better, just off the Rambla in the heart of Barcelona. The apartment is nonetheless very quiet, and there is a small roof terrace. There is even a TV in the room. But this is a rather basic accommodation that may not be for everyone. It is an older building, and Darko's apartment is the attic, up more than one hundred stair steps, no elevator. The toilet doubles as the shower, and it is tiny, barely over a meter square. Showering with the handheld shower without constantly banging into something takes a bit of practice. But if you are looking for a great location and basic accommodation with a friendly host, this could be for you.

Jun 27, 2019Le logement se situe au 6e et dernier étage mais ils se montent plutôt bien. Important à savoir : il n'y a pas de chauffage, ce qui est écrit dans la liste. Mais en hiver, il fait très (voir très très) frais (rhume). Darko est très disponible et très réactif pour tout souci, toute demande. Le logement bénéficie d'une terrasse bien agréable pour le petit déjeuner au soleil, surtout en hiver ! Fil pour étendre du linge. Parfaitement placé pour découvrir le centre ville à pied (200 mètres de la Rambla, 10 minutes de la plage et 15 minutes du bus pour l'aéroport). Supérette Simply à 20 secondes et petits commerces pakistanais dans la rue.
