Sleeps 5 adults and a toddler or infant, I have a full size bed in the master bedroom, and bunk beds in the living room, and a toddler bed or pack n play for a baby or toddler and a sofa bed that turns into a twin bed for one adult. Neighborhood Overview
The neighborhood is mostly Asian. Plenty of playgrounds to expend that extra energy before bedtime. Grocery store and pharmacy just three blocks away. There's a small deli and a laundromat around the corner. Sleep deprived parents have a great cafe right on the corner.

If you are looking for a place to party, please look else where. This listing is in a family home and is family friendly. There are two cats on the property but they will not come into your apartment unless you leave the door open. I have two other guest rooms in this house that I share my common spaces with, your space is not shared.
Transit
The 7 train is a 15 minute walk away at a nice slow pace. The Q65 stops just feet away from my front door. Take that to the 7 train in less than 5 minutes!
Access
I like to cater to families with young kids. At the moment, I have available, a bassinet, a nursing chair, nursing pillow, a walker, toys, activity gym, and a glider, bed rails, and a bouncer. For daddy, we have a large screen TV and a Netflix account on apple TV.

Rules
I expect my guests to be considerate and respectful of my family and of my other guests. No loud music, no drunk frat parties, no smoking of any kind, no profanity that can be over heard by my two year old, and no shoes (they ruin the floor and other things). You can come and go as you please but do so quietly during sleeping hours. This is a home of rest and tranquility, not of WOOHOOOO! There are plenty of other listings to suit those needs.

Linda and her husband were great hosts. They provided everything we needed: towels, plates, silverware, everything. Her husband was generous enough to offer to pick us up from the airport and answered any and all of the questions we had about New York. The apartment was cozy and private. We would definitely stay again!
Jun 27, 2019Linda and Robert were very warm hosts who are very generous & gracious. It was great getting to know them in our small short stay of 17 hours :D. The place was ample for my husband and I but can accommodate a family of four or perhaps some a group of close friends. I like how Linda is making this very family friendly for those with very young ones by including a bassinet as a sleeping space. The room was in construction while we were there, but well put together for our stay. It's obvious that all will be arranged perfectly in the end. Linda shared great & warm personal decorating ideas that should leave guests remembering her space. Pops Diner was a great recommendation & walkable breakfast spot that features one of the Landivar's figurines - you gotta check it out! Plus the diner was great for food & prices. It shows that it's been an icon in the area. We trekked to the Queens Botanical Garden and ended that with a tea and dessert at Tous Les Jours - a must!!! Delicious & best croissants plus a moist sweet potato mousse cake - oh my! And I'm a sucker for Harney & Sons tea. A stroll back to Linda's for picking up luggage that they were SO graciously guarding while we enjoyed the day. I like the location, so close to Laguardia. PLUS we were kindly driven to & from airports for a lot less than taxis. The best! We hope to keep in touch with this passionate kind couple for future stays.

Jun 27, 2019We were only able to stay one night but we loved it. We also came in a little later in the evening so Linda made sure that we had the door code and that my name was on the apartment that we were staying in. It was very clean, minimal, and perfect for what we were looking for.
Jun 27, 2019Very nice place for a family or friends vacation. huge and privacy, and it has a kitchen which you can cook. the bus Q65 is just in front of the house and it takes you to subway 7. Will come back again if traveling in the same area.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was exactly as pictured, check in was a breeze as we were supplied with entry codes rather than a personal key. Only mild issue is that our apartment door didn't come with it's own key, however there was an adjacent apartment of renters and the hosts were just upstairs so we felt secure without a doubt. The apartment is squeaky clean, and the kitchen is bigger than you expect! The room with bunk beds and the room with sofa tv and such are the same room, but a sizable living room//children's room. Linda was extremely personable and flexible when our checkout time needed to be moved in the morning, and they were getting ready to pick up the next renters from the subway! Excellent bnb, excellent hosts!
Jun 27, 2019We spend 2 nights at the Landivars place. They were very friendly and welcoming hosts. Robert picked us up at the subway station near their house and only after we found out that we can take the Q65 bus in front of their house to go to the subway station which was very convenient. The neighborhood looked safe even in the morning while we waited for the bus to arrive. The house can accommodate 5 since they have one full size bed, one bunk bed and a sofa. It's 40 mins train ride to Times Square but the line has an express train which is much faster. Overall, the Landivars are great hosts. Thank you.
Jun 27, 2019Stayin at Lindas place was great, she made us feel at home and was very attentive to our needs. There is ample space in the apt. We were a party of 3, and it's was more than enough space. Jun 27, 2019It was a success to get there cause we had too short time to find a place to stay. It is really a wonderful place with great hosts. There is everything in the room you may need. Everything is so clean and smart. While staying there our family was feeling the great care about all guests. Linda and Robert helped us with everything. They made us remember Queens in a warmest way!
Jun 27, 2019we only stayed at the "little apartment" for one night and we arrived very late and left relatively early so the only time I dealt with Linda was electronically. But I must say she was very patient with me. The days leading up to our trip were chaotic in the extreme for my family, and I quite frankly did a poor job in communicating with Linda. If she was frustrated, and she should have been, it never showed, and in our previous communications Linda was quick to answer, friendly and informative. As far as the apartment it was very clean well stocked with everything you need and Flushing is a great ethnically diverse area with great affordable restaurants and easy access to Manhattan.In closing, Linda had some cute personal touches that showed to me that she enjoys the hosting experience and I feel bad that I did not get a chance to meet her and her family
Jun 27, 2019Linda's apartment has everything you need to visit NYC on a budget. It is just shy of a 1 mile walk to the 7 train, which takes you into Manhattan. We were in town to go to a Mets game, and this place is particularly convenient for this sort of trip. There are plenty of yummy restaurant nearby, though be prepared for a pretty severe language barrier is you are an English speaker. Though we did enjoy our stay, there were a couple of hiccups here and there. Our door-code was inaccurate, which led to a 15 minute wait outside of the apartment. The apartment was also out of toilet paper. There is free parking on Linda's street, but we did get a ticket because of street-sweeping (there was a well-hidden sign that we missed). The internet was a bit slow. Finally, it was a bit unsettling that you could not lock your specific unit when you left it vacant. The door-code gives you access to a building with 3 of Linda's units, but your specific unit can only be locked when you are home as you are not given a key. Regardless of the above, I would stay again if I returned to Queens. The location may not be for everybody, but I loved it. Linda is a very attentive host, and appears to dedicate a great deal of effort to maintaining her properties.

Jun 27, 2019This is my 10th time to NYC and 4th time stayed in Flushing, but very first time to do Airbnb. I had to say i'm impressed. I've heard mixed comments from friends, and i expected much worse. The rooms are good size and very clean. Large kitchen, clean towels in the bathroom. Even the deco is to my liking. The whole unit can be for yourselves. Price is very compatible. Although we only met Linda when we were leaving, i can sense her warm welcome and hospitality.
Jun 27, 2019We had great time staying at Linda's place. Her husband picked up from Laguardia airport. It is about 15 minutes away from their place. The house is about 15 minutes walk to the 7 train Main St station. We use it all the time. The apartment we stayed has one bed room, one kinda living room with a bunk bed and a HUGE TV, a kitchen and a bathroom. The place is worth the price. The hosts are super nice. Their daughter is soo cute!!! Love her!!

Linda prepared a very accurate booklet about the flat and the area and I was very pleased with myself for finding a parking spot on the street! I'm a big fan of the Flushing area and it felt quiet [as far as NYC goes] and safe. Let's not forget the best Asian food around :)
Jun 27, 2019The house is clean, spacious, cozy, bright and very beautiful. The neighborhood is safe and full of shops, restaurants and near a large park. Not far from the apartment there's the stop of the train and in 25-35 minutes you can reach Manhattan Linda and Robert are two wonderful people. When I asked something they quickly help me better than I could wish for. Some hours before my departure I had a problem , I hurt an ankle and I could not walk so we phoned asking if they could pick us up and Robert came quickly. I advise you to stay in their home!!!

Jun 27, 2019Linda and Robert were very responsive and welcoming. Robert picked us up and dropped us off at the Airport for a very reasonable fee - making coming and going easy as well. Their home is quiet and comfortable and in a safe neighborhood. The Q65 bus stop is a few houses down - so a 5 minute bus ride gets you to the 7 subway line for easy access to the City. It worked well for us with it's kitchen and 3 beds. I highly recommend staying with them.

Jun 27, 2019For the third year in a row, I have been a guest at Linda's for my stay in NY. I felt welcomed and very comfortable as I climbed the stairs and walked inside. We were able to catch up as she gave me a tour of the new room. All in all it was a great visit and I plan on coming back again.
Jun 27, 2019The house is very clean and comfortable,also the host is very nice people too. When I have problem Linda will help me as soon as possible. If you want go to the Times Square,just walk a 15min to subway then take the line 7 and don't need to change. Jun 27, 2019老实说 房子离地铁很远｡大概有2km左右,走路要花15分钟左右｡但是房子门口就有Q65坐四五站就在地铁口下车｡而且2小时内是免费换乘的｡房子有点旧,但看得出房东还是花了小心思｡ To be honest,the house is not near the subway. It will taken 15mins by walk. But we can takeQ65 which is in the front of the house,about4-5 stops to subway. It is free transfer within 2 hours. House is sweet,but little old. It is clean.

My wife and I were travelling with our 1 yr old which isn't easy - Linda thoughtfully setup a high chair and a few toys for our child. Our flight into LaGuardia Airport was delay to past midnight due to bad weather but Robert was helpful enough to come to the airport to help us. Their place is comfortable and very short walk to public transportation. The neighbourhood is nice and peaceful which is what my wife and 1yr old son needed for sleep. I highly recommend this place.

Very kind, outgoing, & easy to get along with. They helped us out w any questions we had & he even gave us a ride to Citi Field & to LaGuardia. Our trip went smooth in big part to them being great host....& of course a METS win helped too! :) I would not hesitate booking this again in the future!

Jun 27, 2019Linda's place was cozy and when we arrived, the lights were on and the music from the Apple TV was playing. There are two very cuddly kitties that greeted us. The place is located about 20 minutes from the subway, or a shorter bus ride. If you walk, you can stop and get some fantastic Chinese food along the way at the Food Court. Time's Square is about a 45 minute subway ride away. Linda's place was quiet, safe, and they had umbrella's for us to use when it rained! I would definitely stay there again if I go back to NY. Very nice couple with two very quiet kids.
Jun 27, 2019I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at My Little Guest Apartment. It was clean, had plenty of space for my brother and me, and had all the amenities we needed: huge TV, wifi, a nice desk to work at, a kitchen with everything provided, and a functional bathroom with plenty of hot water for the shower. I was pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood; a short 5-minute walk away (on Kissena Blvd) was a two block area with a great Chinese bakery, a coffee shop, a medium-size grocery store, and a variety of small restaurants. I had a wedding to attend in Flushing, so it was really convenient location. Thanks, Linda!

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Linda's Little Guestroom. We planned a short getaway to NYC's food heaven, Flushing. The place was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed. A short, safe walk to Flushing's Chinatown and the 7 train. Convenient bus stop, basically around the corner. Linda was accommodating and organized.
Jun 27, 2019The family, Linda and her husband, were very welcoming. We were there over the Christmas holiday and they left gingerbread cookies for us. My son was welcome to play with their children and I spent time in their living space while they wrapped presents. We stayed in both a room and the apartment and were very comfortable. The home is a bit old and could use some repair (peeling paint) but everything works fine. There is no door between the rooms in the apartment and parking is challenging after late afternoon. I strongly recommend their home if you need a warm and friendly place. It's convenient to mass transit and there's free WiFi and Neflix (but no cable tv). There are two cats that are also friendly. They are really nice people and very responsive if you need something. Stay there.

Jun 27, 2019Yes, if you wish to stay in a safe place, then this choice is yours. Very friendly young family will provide you with all you need. We were staying here for 4 nights. It's a nice apartment with everything you will need to spend several days in New York. About 50 minutes to reach Manhattan by walk and subway train. There is La Guardia airport nearby. So, you will hear planes taking off and landing. However, we were sooo tired in the end of the day to hear anything. Place is good. We do recommend it to those who are not hunting for highly comfortable place for a low price. You will enjoy your stay. Especially if you love Chinese food and pleasant safe neighborhood.

We enjoyed coming home to our airbnb each evening after a long day of exploring NYC. Linda and Robert provided some helpful tips about the town and traveling into the city. We would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019We're a family of 4 and stayed with Linda and Robert for 2 weeks. Robert picked us up from the airport. They were quite warm and helpful with regards travel information and the logistics to get to the different attractions. We rented 2 rooms with a private kitchen and bath. Their home is a good 45 minutes to Midtown (plus walk and bus ride of 10 minutes) and another 25 minutes to Downtown. The location seems safe and the environment is family oriented. There's a laundromat a steps away and a bus stop as well. I would suggest though that the hosts would add outside locks in the rooms so as to ensure privacy. The toilet is quite small and the kitchen needs a bit of sprucing up. The rooms need more than a fresh coat of paint but the hosts' warm was made it worthwhile. We would definitely stay with them again in our next NYC trip.

The place is very roomy with one big bed and one bunk bed. kitchen has stove and refrigerator. Overall the place is clean and comfortable.

Ideal location for everything, Main Street local shops & dining, public transport and easy to access from the highway! Must visit this area of New York, I definitively suggest it!

The area in flushings and queens is most definitely a cultural experience. Right across from an enormous hindu temple as well. The enormous TV in the living room with netflix and apple TV was a bonus.

Jun 27, 2019Great experience overall, Linda was very responsive. Great location, super close to some amazing food. Just a few blocks away is what looks to be just like Chinatown in Manhattan, but maybe even better. Super easy to get into Manhattan by subway, it's a direct shot. The only thing is that it can take some time, probably around 40 minutes or so. But not bad at all.

The apartment was accurately described on the Airbnb site and was clean, airy (and cool in a heat wave), light and super comfy. We loved the neighborhood - we could walk to lovely Kissena Park and to the amazing Chinatown and Queens Botanical Gardens.

Jun 27, 2019Our family of 4 wanted a New York neighborhood experience when we visited NYC for a wedding. We stayed at My Little Guest Apartment and it was just what we were looking for! The location was great! There was nearby street parking, it was easy to get to the #7 train, and it was enjoyable just to walk around the neighborhood and check out the temples, Chinatown and historical buildings. The beds were comfortable, and there was just enough kitchen so that we could eat some meals there rather than eat out. Linda and Robert were responsive to our questions and requests as we traveled and while we were there. We all wished we could have stayed longer!

I haven't slept in bunker bed since the 2005, nevertheless Linda's place is a great bargain for a family trip. Everything is in walking distance. And thanks for the heads up lecture on how to use public transportation. And if you happen to speak Mandarin as we do, it's double the fun

The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The umbrellas were great help. We took your advice and took the subway into Manhattan instead of our car, what an experience! Jun 27, 2019We had a pleasant stay. The apartment was clean, and Linda was very kind to accommodate our arrival and departure schedule. I had to contact her a couple of times about toiletries and the wifi not working and I wish she'd responded more promptly but I do understand that she's a busy mom. Overall, a good place to stay if you're visiting NYC. Transportation was very easy and we enjoyed the diversity of the neighborhood.

Gave us lots of information about getting around the city and to the tennis (which is why we were staying in Queens). The space was great, clean and had everything you might need including toiletries, towels etc. This is an excellent place to stay especially if your looking for affordable accommodation in an expensive city! Jun 27, 2019We went to NY to watch the US Open Tennis. The location was very convenient. A short bus ride to the subway station and 1 stop on the train brought us directly to the US Open. Linda was great, she gave us useful tips of the neighborhood, and even let us borrow her Metro Card (which we refilled at the end). Parking was a challenge. But then, it is NYC. We decided to avail of the parking lot beside the hospital of $16 for 24hrs.

Jun 27, 2019Linda was incredibly friendly and helpful. She offered to provide us with extra baby accessories, and was available via email/text not to mention upstairs if we needed her assistance. The rooms were spacious, and the location in Queens is safe and fun to walk around. Parking was challenging, but this is expected in a busy Queens neighborhood.
Jun 27, 2019Linda and Robert went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and easy. We were traveling with a one-year-old and we could only take so many toys with us, but Linda left several toys in the apartment that kept our little one entertained during our down time. She also provided a pack-n-play for her to sleep in. The location was ideal for the wedding we attended at the Queens Botanical Gardens and is close to several parks and a Greenway all the way to Allen Pond Park (12 miles there and back), which was a great jogging route.

It was my 2nd airbnb experience and even though the owners live on the house upstairs, we were given our own space and it was very private. Apartment is also spacious and comfortable, overall I highly recommend it.

Jun 27, 2019I will review based on a family of three staying, with a toddler. Communication was quick and easy. Linda/Robert will make you feel very welcome. For a minimal fee, pick up and drop off at the airport is included and that is hard to beat. Th space was big and could easily fit more kids/people. Linda left a few children's toys that entertained my daughter well. The beds are comfortable and neat. It is a space, especially, in NY that is hard to find especially if there is more than 2 in your company. They are updating the space as much as they can and it will show some parts (toilet/bath) are a little outdated but it is more than functional and clean, most importantly. With items/choices that you can use, e.g.: shampoo/conditioner, lotion, etc. There were some occasional odd noises at night and we figured out it was from the heater. It is a good walk to the subway station, maybe just 10 mins but would stretch to 15-20 due to heavy foot traffic. Then again, you could take the bus to make it quicker but we did not do that. The convenience to food and restaurants is excellent! Food that is really good and cheap. It is a safe, family friendly neighborhood and a great place to stay after a day out in NY, and that was primarily the reason why we chose their home. And we do not regret it! Try Pops Diner on Kissena Blvd for a proper old fashioned diner. Linda was very welcoming and quick to reply to any correspondence before we arrived.
Jun 27, 2019Space was clean and Linda was available to communicate with throughout our stay. We were there over a very cold weekend and I would say it is a bit too far to walk to the subway (7 train), but bus was very easy to use to get there instead. I thick it would have been an easier commute if traveling without children. The bedroom and bunk beds don't have a door separating them, but we found it was still enough privacy needed with the screen they have in the space. We felt safe staying there with a small child. And even with the bitter cold outside, the apartment was nice and warm.

You would need to take bus in order to reach to the train station. It was extremely difficult for us to take bus early in the morning and late in the evening.
Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful stay at Linda's guest apartment! First off she's an amazing host and went out of her way to provide amenities to us like baby swing, high chair etc. She was extremely communicative and responded within minutes to questions, and check in was super smooth. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs with a bunk bed and main bed. Everything was pleasantly set up, with slippers, towels, and linens all provided! When entering, the living room/bunk bed room is connected to the bedroom, which is then connected to the kitchen with the bathroom off to the side. One thing to note if privacy is an issue is that all the rooms are connected without doors in between (except bathroom of course), just to be aware~! It wasn't an issue for us but if someone wanted to watch TV and others wanted to sleep it may be difficult. We had a great stay at Linda's apartment and would love to stay again! Thank you so much for a nice experience!!

Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful time at Linda and Robert's place! Robert picked us up from the airport where our flight was 2 hours LATE! We arrived at past 12midnight and Robert was there waiting for us with patience and for that we are truly grateful. Both Linda and Robert are very accomodating and helpful in every way. Linda let us borrow a Metrocard and patiently taught us how to use it. The place was clean and cozy, complete kitchen with a big ref, stove to cook or heat food... very importantly we felt safe in the neighborhood. There are good places to eat nearby that is not that expensive (all are included in Linda's recommendations)... plus, there is a Laundry place a few steps away that you can drop off your laundry and come back for it already clean and folded for you... very convenient if you want to travel light. Thank you Robert and Linda for a lovely time at your home!

There are a cute living room and garden. Near a bus stop for metro station so very convenient when you have luggage. Quiet neighborhood!

Linda and Robert are great hosts and their apartment is clean and cozy . Great cafe a few doors down for coffee , smoothies , and sandwiches . Old-school diner a couple of blocks away . Asian restaurants galore . Safe neighborhood . Look forward to returning for a future baseball game !

We stayed here with our 2-year-old and 6-month-old and Linda provided a high chair, baby playpen, and some fun toys and offered other things that we might have needed for the children. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. Commute to the 7 train was simple. Comfortable, clean, and cozy.
Jun 27, 2019Finding a family-friendly home on airbnb can be limiting, but here at Linda's place, a well-equipped, comfortable, clean, quiet and family friendly home is possible. Linda and her lovely family, went above-and-beyond making their apartment welcoming and inviting. I traveled with my 3 year old (special needs) toddler and the first thing Linda said "I (Hidden by Airbnb) d yours son's diagnosis because I wanted to make sure he was well taken-care of". Who does that??? It sure warmed my heart. Her husband Robert, picked us up at last minutes notice from the airport and Linda was able to answer every question we had. Every day in their home, showed me how much love and thought they put into it. Thanks for providing us with such a memorable stay!

Jun 27, 2019Linda's little guest house was perfect for a week vacation for my family. Perfect for a family with children, small and very cute. She was very friendly and responded as quickly as possible. She had everything set up including towels and house slippers. Her cats were not a problem at all and this is coming my mother, ( has an allergy to animals). My family and I will definitely be coming back if we're ever in town again.

Jun 27, 2019Linda was very helpful. She knew I was interested in booking a week prior and went above and betond to help me book the space .even when i was having some trouble to . Her check in said 12 but she told me it was old so i had to wait a bit to get the proper check in time from her . Upon going into her home it is as pictured. And the space i booked is as pictured. It was very nice . She even had the fathers day banner up and candles lit as requested before i got there . Looking at kitchen i was satisfied MINUS checking sink and realizing there were previous dishes.. Linda told me the previous guest cleaned them but she suggest i clean them.... One other thing was that i was cooking a fathers day lunch and decided to bake homemade biscuits .which winded up being a waste because i had to throw my whole batter out due to the oven not working . Overall . Me and my family DID enjoy our stay . I do recommend them although for me it was a little distance.
Jun 27, 2019If you are a family traveling to New York for anything you should stay at Linda's place. She will bend over backwards to make you feel like part of her own family. I booked a last minute night on Father's day so I could drag my 20 month old and 4 year old to a Mets game (two small kids with just dad). We drove up from MD and came back the next day. Staying with Linda was much cheaper and convenient than a hotel. If you want to feel like you are staying with family (the good kind) stay with Linda.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable, and Linda was very responsive and accommodating for any requests. This apartment provides basic accommodations in a safe neighborhood, and we had a very relaxing and restful stay. I would gladly return. I also liked staying in a normal (non-touristic) residential neighborhood, where you get a feeling for how real New Yorkers live. Parking during the day is very easy, though in the evening you may need to circle the block to find a space -- but I felt very safe walking around at any time of day. There is a charming cafe 3 doors down that serves delicious fresh sandwiches and salads and excellent smoothies. And a few blocks away is a huge Hindu temple with an excellent cafeteria open to the public that serves the best dosas in New York. Yum!

Jun 27, 2019Very handy spot in a wacky culturally vibrant district with lots of amenities. Commute to central Manhatan was 35-40min max and walk was pretty short and handy. Space well loved and cared for and private with very welcoming cats to meet you at any hour of the day.

Linda left the light on for us. She even put a pack-n-play in the room for us for my 1 year old. Me and my sister both have babies. My daughter is one and her son is five months and it was very comfortable for them. I would definitely recommend this place for families..... You won't regret your stay!

If you are not used to walking, you may find it challenging to get there from public transport but it's fairly straightforward. The location is walking distance to shops and transit, but is in a quiet part of town. The space was clean and spacious for a NYC location, and quite homey.

Jun 27, 2019So glad we found Linda's place! It was perfect for our family vacation to NYC with two young children. The neighborhood was safe and generally quiet. Decent amount of foot traffic but not bad. Bus stop nearby if you don't want to make the ten to fifteen minute walk to the 7 train. The apartment was roomy and had everything we needed. There was a grocery store a couple blocks away so you can get things to stock up the fridge or anything to utilize the kitchen. From the start Linda answered all of our questions and provided great recommendations. We paid for Robert to pick us up from the airport and to take us back to catch our flight home. That was very convenient. Linda went above and beyond in meeting our expectations for this stay. We were sad to go and felt at home from the beginning. We highly recommend this place for families, or even a couple wanting extra place with a kitchen.

Jun 27, 2019Communication with Linda was perfect. We went to a concert at Citi Field and Linda's place was a great choice. It's tidy, quiet and comfortable, and has a full kitchen and bath. The neighborhood is safe and parking, which can be somewhat challenging, was found a block from Linda's place. Very close by is Sweet Haus, which is a very good breakfast/lunch place, with freshly made juice and other healthy options. Tasty coffee and croissant sandwiches and panini grilled wraps. The bedroom is really pretty and we had a great time!

The apartment itself was functional and served us well for our stay. Linda maintained excellent communication throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer our questions, though never interrupted our privacy. I'd be happy to stay again should we return to Flushing.
Jun 27, 2019Linda's place is nice, clean and quiet. It has a private entrance and provides a lot of privacy. It had an Apple TV unit with a very large screen and free netflix. We had a one bedroom with a double bed and there is a set of bunk beds and a full size couch in the livingroom. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has a sink, a large refrigerator, stove, table and chairs. There is a very small full bath with plenty of hot water. The place is a little rundown but everything works. The only problem was the burners on the stove. They didn't all work.

Linda was easy to in contacted with. 4 of us stayed there to go to the US open (tennis), and the location was extremely convenient. The room was slightly outdates, but very nicely decorated, spacious , clean, and and quiet. We didn't use the kitchen, but the spacious and comfortable kitchen with large refrigerator, sink, and stove will be perfect for a longer stay!! Linda's place was perfect for our trip and I would love to return to her place. Thank you so much, Linda :)

Linda and her family provided us with anything we needed including snacks (warm cookies!), travel tips, and of course food recommendations (pops diner!). Although a few minutes away from the nearest station, the walk allows you to appreciate the nice neighborhood and get a feel of how friendly everyone is. I recommend this home for those wanting to bring kids to visit as there is ample room compared to cramming kids in the city. She even helped and provided us with a pack and play, stroller, and toys to prevent having to travel with them! Thanks so much for allowing us into your lovely home.

It’s about a 20min walk to the subway and it’s at the end of the line so it’s quite far from the tourist areas. However the neighbourhood is good with some cheap eats.

Let me start by saying that this is a wonderful place to stay for anyone looking for a little more space and amenities than the average NYC Airbnb can offer (a private apartment with it’s own bathroom AND a full kitchen!), in a great safe neighborhood with a fantastic multi-cultural personality. Linda goes above and beyond-more than just offering a place to stay, she enables you to have the smoothest visit possible and offers a lot of great extras like parking and pickup options and really goes out of her way to make sure you have what you need. Clear, fast communication and a friendly and efficient host. So for anyone traveling to the city, this is a great Airbnb. But it’s particularly ideal if you are traveling with young kids. Linda and her family have set up the space to be comfortable for everyone in the family-lots of places to sleep, toys and essentials like packnplay, high chair, potty seats are available as well as thoughtful touches like childproofed furniture and device charging stations, removable soft floor surface for crawling babies and toddlers, etc. We were traveling with a 7 month old and the homey aspects of Linda’s place and her helpfulness in so many ways really made a trip that could have been very stressful much more smooth. What a lovely individual she is-we felt like friends rather than customers! I also loved the area-although some have mentioned noisy streets, this was actually rather quiet for a city neighborhood and the apartment itself was very quiet inside-we had no trouble with street noise at night. The area is very safe and on the many pleasant walks we took we felt like it was almost like being in a dozen countries at once with all the different cultures represented in businesses, restaurants and places of worship and the families we interacted with in the parks and common spaces. As far as getting into the city, I had business in Manhattan every day of our stay and found the commute very straightforward and easy-this line of the subway is easy to figure out and pretty fast since you don’t need transfers-a 30 minute subway ride after the 12 minute walk to the subway. All in all a fantastic experience and we will definitely stay here again if/when we’re back in the area again!

Public transport to Manhattan is really good, you can take the express train. plenty of food in the neighboorhood. nice breakfast just around the corner. Linda has a nice eye for detail in her place (batterychargers for like every type available), toys for small children and tv with Netflix and Hulu. loved the small details

The home is in a culturally rich neighborhood that is interesting to explore. It’s a bit of a hike into manhattan but totally doable with some planning ahead. Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful time at the apartment and Linda was a great host. It felt like being at home. Our son loved his room with so many toys to play with. It is a perfect accommodation für a young family. The ride to Manhatten takes about 50 min if you walk to the train station- that was fine with us. I would definitely stay there a second time. Jun 27, 2019Linda, Robert and their family were the best hosts. We traveled to NYC with a three-year-old and a one-month-old for a family wedding. They were very easy to communicate with and worked out plans with us in advance to accommodate our small children. The space is perfect for having kids with a bunkbed, play space & bathtub. Linda also provided a highchair, nursing pillow, stroller, and pack n play for us to care for our newborn son in an unfamiliar space. On top of that, our toddler got sick while we were there and she even lent us some cold medicine. Every little thing that we could need was provided and they were just so kind and hospitable. The icing on the cake was the ability to pay for airport transport. Robert picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for an extra fee so we could avoid navigating public transit with 2 kids and 8 bags. We only wish we could have spent more time getting to know them but wanted to avoid our son spreading his germs around. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

Jun 27, 2019Linda's apartment is great for families looking to relax after long walks in NYC, and down the road is all of Flushing's Chinatown to explore! The bus stop to the subway is a few steps away; the trains (subway or LIRR) goes straight to the city; and there's a neat cafè at the corner for one's lazy breakfast. Chinatown is either a short bus ride or a brisk 1-mile walk if you care for shrimp balls or dumplings for your meals. We also enjoyed hanging around the apartment, and loved having a home-away-from-home to rest our tired feet at the end of the day.
Jun 27, 2019Linda is a great and welcoming host, introducing us to her space and her kids even came to welcome us. My children immediately felt comfortable with the place, playing with the toys as well as her daughter that just came back from school. Location is great, walking distance to Flushing chinatown, lots of asian food options, and line 7 to get to Manhattan straight. The place is clean and accurate as per advertised, with alot of personalised touches as Linda would first ask how old are the kids coming along so she could prepare. Overall, great experience, and highly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Linda was welcoming and warm. She had many personal touches like slippers in the hallway and a private code for the front door. My 2.5 year old twin boys loved the play area and the bunk beds. She also had a potty seat available which made toddler toilet time much easier. There were a few features that were challenging like some spaces in the bathroom and kitchen that were in need of remodel as well as the exposed radiators. The rooms also don’t have doors between them, so we had to go to bed at the same time as our toddlers (which was probably a good thing). Overall, I’d stay again, but bring something to hang over the doorway and to make the kids room darker for nap time.
Jun 27, 2019Good location 15 minutes walk to subway and great food. Much cheaper than staying in Manhattan or 2 hotel rooms. Clean. Nice set up for kids. But apartment kitchen and bathroom are rundown and will not satisfy guests expecting modern furnishings.
Jun 27, 2019The stay was really warm and cosy. I am really thankful to our host for that. The place is perfect if you are looking for the stay with your family. They even provided the toys for my Little daughter. The communication was very smooth with the host and the location of the house was also nice. It's very near to big shopping malls like Target and Macy's if you are planning some shopping in New York. I requested to keep my luggage for few days and the good thing is that the host not even kept my luggage safe but they also dropped that off on time to airport. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for few days stay in a quiet and calm atmosphere.

Jun 27, 2019Linda was awesome with immediately communication from day number one until our last day in the apartment.I travel with my 2 sons alone. Place was quit and peaceful. Place was cozy! She help us with parking arrangements for a reasonable extra fee. I will recommended this place for future guesses. Great place for families with children’s.
Jun 27, 2019Linda & Robert's Little Guest House was close to a bus stop which we took to the subway to get into the city. Linda even had the pack & play and bathtub set up for our little one! Robert had a lot of local tips. The little touches such as phone charging station and music playing when we arrived made this space feel very warm and welcoming.
