Collaroy Plateau is a green area with lots of trees and native birds, and national park and beaches nearby. If you're lucky, you'll spot native brush turkeys in the street as well as the beautiful King Parrots. Collaroy Plateau is a quiet family area, but it's great location is catching on with film producers and media celebrities moving into the area. It's also close to bars, great food and coffee, and there's an Art Deco cinema just a short walk away. Dee Why is a 20 minute walk and Manly a15 minute drive. There's a great, character-filled Indian restaurant a short walk up the road, as well as plenty more restaurants a short walk - great Italian, Asian fusion and a pub.
