Hello everyone! Very rare opportunity, in beautiful old style apartment (70 sq mt plus balcony, high ceilings) 5 minutes by walking to Asmalı Mescit / Tunnel, Tepebasi area , two nice furnished rooms, one extra storage room/cellar, clean bathroom, separate kitchen, collective heating. There are two rooms (each room has own double bed and a table, chairs etc..) and a cellar room includes one sofa and a washing machine which can be used as a storage space. The flat has a great balcony (not that big) with a great view of Golden Horn that you can have open air breakfasts and a perfect place to get some booze as well. It is very convenient, reliable and safe place and it's in the safe neighborhood. Also literally 5 minutes to Istiklal street / Taksim / Beyoglu, right across from the Pera Hotel. Staying with Jan was a great experience. She helped out finding restaurants, shops, sights etc. She even fixed me a new place to live together with one of her friends when I wanted to stay longer than planed. The appartment is located on the other side of Tarlabasi Blv close to the stadium and only five minutes from Istiklal, the main street in Beyoglu. It has windows and lots of light and air from both sides, and a small terrace with a beautiful view up the Golden Horn. For those sensetive to noice, there is a minaret not far from the house, but then again, you're in Istanbul! There are two rooms, both furnished as bedroms, a small separat kitchen, a bathroom and a flexible room with no windows. I would definitely recommend staying at Jans, and its great value for the money.
Jun 27, 2019I stayed with my boyfriend for one week in Istanbul at Jan´s flat. It´s a place I highly recommend to everybody who likes to discover the heart of Istanbul. With its two rooms it´s was more than enough space for us and we loved to have breakfast on the balcony with its beautiful view including the Golden Horn. And Jan is a very friendly host, we could contact her any time to ask her something or to get insider tips (restaurants etc..).
Jun 27, 2019I had an excellent stay at Sinejan's flat! It is nice and clean, and it has everything you need. I didn't spend much time with Jan, as I was off sightseeing most of the time, but she was always available if I needed anything. Jan is very helpful and hospitable. Now I have a real friend in Istanbul! Highly recommend! And by the way Jan is one of the most beautiful girl I saw in Istanbul!
Jun 27, 2019The flat is in nice, silent area 10 min walk from main pedestrian street. On the corner it has convenience store open till 23 or later with very friendly owner and we felt very safe every time we returned home late. The flat was artistic and gave an inspiration for all the stay. The unique thing is - balcony with wonderful view over city and Golden Horn. Just keep in mind - you will have a minaret just 20 meters from the balcony - so a nice cultural experience 5 times a day. :) But we more enjoyed it, then felt disturbed. The hostess Jan - was very nice and caring. Thank You a lot. :) Definitely a place where to return for inspiration.
Jun 27, 2019Jan's place is very, very central to everywhere we needed to be in Istanbul. We were able to walk to all the major tourist sights, as well as tons of great restaurants, bars, etc. There's plenty of space in the flat, and Jan was generous with recommendations for both restaurants and galleries (which were also very close for any art people looking at this listing). Call to prayer is louder in the back room, so if you want to get some sleep, set up shop in the front room!
Jun 27, 2019We had a very nice stay in Istanbul! The flat is very well located, in walking distance to most of the important sites. The flat itself is also really nice and equipped with everything you might need. The balcony is great! Finally, Sinejan was a very nice host!
Jun 27, 2019A nice and cozy flat with an awesome view over the Golden Horn. Close to public transport and the very busy Istiklal street, nonetheless the flat is very quiet (obviously apart from the Muezzin from the nearby Mosque, but he's fortunately quite brief). Sinejan was a great host and helped with some necessary phone calls due to missing luggage. We can recommend the flat (and her) wholeheartedly.
