Carolina was a great host - I was an hour late (arrived at 8pm instead of 7pm) to getting the keys off her but she waited patiently and took the time to explain everything before going to an wedding dinner. The AirBnB was in the middle of everywhere - ~5 min walk to TST MTR and <5 min walk to Knutsford terrace. Thank you for the stay Carolina

Jun 27, 2019Carolina was quick to respond to my request and I made the reservation one week before arrival. It was possible to arrange for me to get access to the apartment a little bit before actual check-in. I met Carolina outside the apartment on the street according to what we agreed upon the day before my arrival. The studio is as pictured and described, small but has what is needed. If anything to be said, you can clearly hear your neighbours. I did not find it as big of a problem, but you can more or less hear the neighbour speak which was kind of new to me. I had some problem with the Internet connection, Carolina was very accomodating to solve the problem which was sorted out fairly quick by her dealing with the internet provider. For me it was at a good location, a 5 minute walk to the MTR, where I can easily get to other locations I wanted to visit. For me, this was a perfect match, it was as expected and since living in HK is compact, I also had to live compact. If I revisit HK I wouldn't doubt to get in contact with Carolina again or to stay in the same area / resident.
Jun 27, 2019We booked Carolina's apartment for 11 nights. She was very unprofessional. She was being very late to meet us. When she finally arrived she informed us that the booked apartment is not available offering us a replacement, but we have to additionally wait until it was cleaned. When we finally checked in we saw that the sheets were very dirty with stains all over and the toilet flusher did not work. Even then the only complaint we had was about disgustingly dirty sheets and she refused to replace them, instead convincing us that they are clean enough. We spent a night on our towels and left the apartment first thing next morning. We had to involve Airbnb for refund since she was not willing to cooperate.

Brilliant location - close to everything, plenty of eateries and shopping spots, 3 mins walking to MTR station, the flat itself is very clean, tidy, well-equipped and modern! Jun 27, 2019Did not make us feel welcome because she was late and she never responded to.our texts and even asked us to get a local sim (bad timing since we were alr outside the building and very tired from travelling all day) so she could text or call whc means she didnt call or text bec the cost prohibited her. She could have been a good host if only she were not so thrifty with her telcom.expenses. or she could have said in the ad or to me privately that i need to get a local simcard . Not like that pls. Waited outside the building with our luggages for close to an hour. We were with our little 9 yr old daughter and she was getting tired and cranky so we called up carolina and even her host but she said she needed to call her cleaning lady to know where she was and that she will.call us back but asked if i had a local sim of messaging via airbnb... but i t0ld her i didnt have mobile data since we just arrived and she advised me to get a sim card from 7/11 . I said cant you return my call on my cellphone or text me because we are laden with luggage and a cranky kid due to travelling sjnce 3 am. She never called back and i had to call her again. Just felt bad because she was late and yet she did not want to spend anything, not even a penny for a call or text (:p), to make it better for her waiting guests or offer any apology. Place is good but the waiting and stress and inconsiderateness of the host is a turn off. Also the neighbors' kid cries 24/7 and you can hear their voices thru the wall especially when you are on the bed. Location and design are great but the host really ruined it all.

Jun 27, 2019Had a hard time checking into the room. Ended up waiting to get into the room for 2 hrs only to be told it is not even ready and that I had to wait another 1-2 hrs for the room to be cleaned. I initially wanted to check in at 3pm which is past the designated time to begin with, I would have assumed that the room was at least cleaned. When I finally got into the room, it was as described but there was no wifi. The host arranged for the provider to fix the issue but I was left without wifi for 4 days out of the 6 I was staying. I think if you just need a room to sleep in then this would be fine but I don't think I will be staying again after my horrible experience.
Jun 27, 2019This accommodation is functional rather than luxury, but, in my opinion, in the context of Hong Kong, offers great value. The flat contains everything that you might need, and, the bed is really comfortable. I loved the location as it really suited my purposes. I know Hong Kong very well but even a first time visitor will appreciate how close it is to everything. I would thoroughly recommend this flat to anyone with the proviso that it probably would suit a single traveler a little better than a couple.

I live in Hong Kong myself and booked the apartment as I had members of my family visiting. I found the size and condition to be better than other apartments or rooms nearby. My relatives were very happy overall and appreciated the many restaurant options in the area.

Jun 27, 20195* Best Airbnb stay ever, exceeded our expectation in Hong Kong! Carolina is a fantastic host, very accommodating and her responses are always prompt and helpful (replies within mins). The location is tremendous - surrounded by plenty of eateries (low to higher end), short walk to Victoria Harbour for the amazing view, airport express shuttle bus, 24 hours supermarkets, shopping malls and laundries literally just downstairs, 5 mins walk to TST MTR Station, also short walk to TST East and Jordan stations, also the new West Kowloon Station for high speed trains to China, walkable to the Macau ferry terminal if you fancy taking a day trip there like we did. Most importantly the apartment is super clean, very cozy, feels just like home and you can see how she cares for her guests by the attention to details - very well equipped for a long stay, flat is relatively spacious in HK standards. The Wifi connection is reliable & fast. Lastly, she is very helpful, kind and enthusiastic, check-in was a breeze. Overall, every aspect of my stay was positive and I would definitely recommend her place to anyone! Thank you for the awesome experience!
