A experiência foi de acordo com a promessa, não tivemos nenhuma surpresa ou sobressalto. O apartamento oferece mesmo tudo o que precisamos e estava devidamente limpo e organizado. Ótimo para um casal. A localização é excelente, perto da praia, lojas, restaurantes, bancos, farmácias e tudo mais o que você possa imaginar. O horário de check-in e check-out foi flexível, o que facilitou demais e o processo de pegar e entregar a chave foi muito prático. Voltaríamos, com certeza!

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is exactly as it is on the pictures. It's like living at home as it has everything you expect. Washing machine (clothes), wifi, fridge, TV (with cable) and air conditioner are all working perfectly. The locations if the best (in the heart of Ipanema) and Marcos was great. Extremely helpful and organized. It was very easy to get the keys and information from him. I really recommend this place and Marcos!!!

Jun 27, 2019The location of this apartment is the best! Stores and restaurant just below, close Ipanema beach, and comfortable transportation. The apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures, very roomy with all the needed appliances. Marcos was very kind and helped us with some good advices. If we decide to come over again, we'll choose this apartment again.

Jun 27, 2019Great apartment very convenient location (restaurants, shopping and beach very close). Marcos was very helpful and always responded quickly when asked for help. Only little drawback for sensitive people might be the noticable traffic from R. Visc. de Pirajá (but totally normal for such a centrally located apartment).
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Ipanema. The unit is spacious, with a comfortable living room and spacious main bedroom. As a couple, it was really helpful having the spare room with single bed, to keep our luggage in. I'd agree with past reviewers about the sound of the traffic, however it is Ipanema, and we quickly got used to it and it never affected our sleep. For any GLBT travellers, it's really close to a great bar for drinks (just around the corner) which was good fun, and just two blocks away from the gay beach. Amenities in the flat worked well (wifi, laundry, hot water, etc) and the block felt very safe. I'd recommend this spot to any friends who were headed to Rio!
Jun 27, 2019We stayed in a different flat due to there being an issue with this one which we were told about in advance. Both are in the same building which is in a great location in Ipanema and is secure with a front desk staffed 24/7.
Jun 27, 2019Place just as described, fantastic location. 2nd room small if you need a lot of space but if you are like me i just slept on the comfortable bed and closed the sliding door. Would stay again. Marcos is a reliable and responsive host, cheers.

Il est idéalement situé, à deux pas de la plage et du fameux Posto 9 ainsi que des meilleurs restaurants d'Ipanema.

Jun 27, 2019What a great place and excellent host! The vibe in Ipenema is as cool and cozy as Marco's condo is. It is plenty spacious, very neat and tidy and the location can't be beat. Settle in for a few days and enjoy all the gifts this darling area has to offer. You won't get the song (Girl from Ipenema) out of your head and the restaurant where it was written to 2 blocks away. Eat at Crusto's, though, right around the corner. Do yourself a BIG favor and rent this cool, cozy pad. Thanks, Marcos!! Abrigada!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay couldn't have been better! Hassle-free from start to finish. The apartment is located two blocks from Ipanema beach and, even though it's on a busy street, it's not noisy. If you close the windows and turn on the AC or fan (which is in every room except the kitchen) you don't hear a thing. The photos are a true picture of the place. I'll definitely rent this place again and recommend to friends and family. Thanks Marcos!

Marcos greeted us with a welcome call in the apartment and was always available via phone or (Hidden by Airbnb) for any questions we had. The apartment is well-located, just a couple of blocks from Ipanema beach and at the heart of a bustling shopping area with plenty of eateries just a few steps away. The apartment itself was safe in doorman building. It was well maintained and clean, and was a comfortable fit for the two of us.
Jun 27, 2019Marcos was just the host I would ask for. The listing was very accurate. His place was clean and he accommodated me for a late check-out. Marcos was warm and responsive and when I go back to Rio, I would love to stay at this property. It is a couple of blocks from the beach and lagoon on the main thoroughfare in Ipanema beach. You can't beat it. The only drawback is that the second room is very small compared to the master bedroom but for the price and location you could not ask for more

Jun 27, 2019The apartment's location is great - a 5 min walk to Ipanema beach. There are also several restaurants / bars right around the corner. The apartment is the 4 floor and facing the street where many buses to other parts of Rio run - which is great, although this means it was quite loud with the windows open which didn't bother us since we were mostly out. Marcos was very prompt with his response and the check-in and check-out process was easy. He also provided an extra mattress for another friend who was with us for the first night (we were three persons for 5 nights in total). Just a note, the toilet paper is provided just for the initial use - so if you stay for more than a few days, you might need to buy your own. There's a convenience shop opposite the street.
Jun 27, 2019Marcos was friendly and responsive, 2-3 blocks to beach, nice shower with wood and stones, safe building, lots of restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and banks, nearby. Traffic and buses on street can be loud at night but I sleep with earplugs. Overall a nice visit.

Jun 27, 2019Todo puede describirse en una palabra: espectacular. La ubicación es genial, a dos cuadras de la playa y sobre una de las calles principales de Ipanema. Rodeado de negocios y de opciones para cenar y salir. El departamento es tal cual lo que se ve en las fotos. Super confortable y equipado con todo lo necesario para que la estadía sea amena. Sin dudas es una gran inversión para vacacionar en una ciudad maravillosa como Rio. De mas esta decir que el anfitrión siempre esta atento a lo que uno pueda necesitar. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!
Jun 27, 2019Muy lindo departamento, en el medio de la movida de Ipanema con todas las comodidades. Marcos es un muy buen anfitrión y está siempre bien dispuesto. Se escuchan un poco los ruidos de la calle ya que, justamente, está en el medio del bullicio de Ipanema y algunos ruidos del edificio. De todos modos es un lugar muy recomendable.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was in a fantastic location, two blocks from Ipanema beach and Posto 8, with heaps of restaurants and bars around, as well as being only a short 5 minute walk to the subway! It was a perfect location for a few days in Rio! I didn't actually meet Marcos, but he was very quick in all communication and made sure we knew everything we needed for our arrival and stay! The apartment was clean and bright and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Comfortable beds and a quiet apartment given its central location! Recommend.

Since it was carnaval Marcos also offered to help with tickets to the Sambodromo. The location of the apartment is awesome. It's right on the main shopping street in Ipanema and only two blocks from the beach. Apartment was clean and we had everything we needed. Thanks for the stay!
Jun 27, 2019Great place in Ipanema. Really well located, clean, aircond is working super well. Fits 3 people correctly, even if the small bedroom is very small. We didn't meet Marcos, but he was always very responsive and arranged everything for us to feel at home. Recommended.

The location is right in the middle of the Ipanema area, had lots of nice shopping, and we were only a five minute walk from Posto 9 - one of the most recommended beaches to go to in the city. The apartment itself was exactly as pictured and everything worked as it should. We didn't get to meet Marcos in person, but we spoke over the phone and via (Hidden by Airbnb) - he was super response, very welcoming, and helpful with tips and recommendations for visiting Rio. Would highly recommend staying here!

Jun 27, 2019Marcos nos dejó las llaves en un sobre que nos entregó el portero porque él no nos podía recibir. Hablamos por teléfono al llegar y tras consultarle la hora en que podríamos abandonar el apartamento el día de nuestra salida, tuvimos que volver a preguntarle de nuevo porque no nos respondió durante toda la semana. Lo mejor del apartamento es su ubicación, en una zona con muchos comercios y restaurantes, muy cerca de la playa. Para dos personas, es cómodo; aunque una de las habitaciones es pequeña, hay espacio suficiente. Como negativo: los ruidos, tanto de fuera (tráfico) como de dentro (aire acondicionado) y la cocina es algo antigua, pero con lo necesario. Aunque no sabemos si es circunstancial, nos hemos encontrado hormigas en la cocina y en el baño.

Jun 27, 2019Tive uma ótima estadia! O Marcos se mostrou super acessível desde o início, me ajudando no que fosse necessário. O apartamento é muito bom, mesmo! novo, exatamente como no anúncio! A localização também é ótima! Não tive problemas quando precisei andar a pé, perto de supermercados, restaurantes, tudo! Não usei o transporte público mas tem um ponto de ônibus bem na frente e uma estação de metrô a alguns quarteirões de lá. Do lado da praia (Website hidden by Airbnb) certeza ficaria lá novamente!

La cama es cómoda, el internet funciona correctamente, la cocina esta muy bien equipada, el portero esta presente las 24hs y la ubicación del dpto es excelente... en una zona muy linda y cerca de la playa.... Marcos se mostró muy atento con nosotros, si bien no nos conocimos personalmente. En fin, estoy super conforme y lo recomiendo 100%.
Jun 27, 2019This is a perfect location for a tourist or someone very familiar with Rio - close to Metro, beach, restaurants and banks - both local and household names like McDs, Starbucks and Citibank. The apartment was just as advertised and Marcos was very responsive to email and phone calls.

The street is a nice mixture of shops (fashion and others) and cafes (local and Starbucks) and normal apartment buildings. A lot of restaurants (for all kind of tastes), breakfast locations and bars are in the neighbor streets. It is a save area and the subway station is in 5 min walking distance. The apartment looks exactly as on the pictures. It is very well kept and tidy and suits best 3 persons to sleep (2 bedrooms) and has an extra living room and kitchen. Jun 27, 2019Had a pleasant short stay at Marcus's place last week. The location is fantastic, 1 block from the beach in a safe building. The flat itself is spacious and very bright my advise is to bring ears plugs if you are very sensitive to traffic noise as the bedroom faces a busy street but it wasn't an issue for me at all and I probably will stay there again next year!

Jun 27, 2019Simple perfect space. All your basic needs plus right in the area you want to be. I have been to Rio more than a dozen times and have had my fair-share of Airbnb's and there is a reason why this booking is always full. Kitchen is large and has a table for eating and/or working on the computer, WiFi was fast, lots of light in the living room and bedroom, Air conditioning in every room, new washer, and a comfortable bed. Really great place and if it wasn't for other guests coming in the day I left I wish I could have extended my stay. Thanks Marcos!

Jun 27, 2019Marcos' spot is great. Big, well-lit apartment. AC and wifi work well. There's a kitchen that I used to make breakfast several times. And Marcos was a great host--he was very responsive at all times, and he answered all of my questions and provided lots of great recommendations. (He made sure I was aware of local supermarkets and other essentials in the neighborhood upon arrival as well.) I highly recommend Marcos and his apartment.
Jun 27, 2019A really cute condo in a great location. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby and it is 2 blocks from a great spot on the beach. This is probably ideal for a couple or a few friends, as the master is big and the other bedroom is small but comfortable.

As soon as we got to the apartment, he gave us a phone call to give us some further instructions and to offer recommendations for restaurants, etc. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well-located. We would definitely recommend Marcos's apartment to anyone planning a visit to Rio. We would definitely stay there again.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is located in a nice street in a good neighborhood near the beach. The beds are good and the room is well darkened. You can hear the street below you but no drunk, screaming people or ambulance route. we haven't met Marcos, but he is a fast (Hidden by Airbnb) responder :)

Marcos was extremelly helpful since before we got there, super available, ofering help and making sure everything was ok. The place is clean, good towels, good bed, great showet, with an elevator and a lot of facilities. I recommend this place with no reservations. Thanks Marcos, we had a great time there.

Jun 27, 2019Todo fue según lo acordado. La ubicación es exelente, y el departamento muy cómodo y lindo. Todo es como en las fotos y según lo acordado con el anfitrion. Unos detalles son que los muebles y los artículos de cocina no son de gran calidad, pero hay que destacar que hay de todo lo que uno pueda necesitar. Otro detalle a mejorar es la ducha que no tiene buena presión de agua, y es muy difícil regular la temperatura; al abrir un poquito el agua fría se apaga el calefon. Muy bueno en general todo.

La ubicación es muy buena, aunque tiene como "negativo" que es una zona muy transitada, lo que la hace un poco ruidosa a la noche. La cercanía a la playa y a servicios (transportes, supermercados, farmacias) son muy valorables. La limpieza era muy buena. Marcos fue muy amable y se mostró dispuesto en todo momento a ayudar y dar indicaciones. Lo recomiendo, sin duda.

Jun 27, 2019Nuestro hospedaje fue genial. El departamento tiene todo lo necesario, limpio, seguro y bien ubicado. Marcos como anfitrión excelente, nos respondió rápido siempre que necesitamos consultarle algo. Muy recomendable!
Jun 27, 2019Tudo muito bom, o quarto individual que é muito estreito, na foto parecia ser maior. O único detalhe foi que esquecemos um óculos de sol (o que ainda não tinha percebido; descobri pq fui perguntar de outra coisa e ele falou sobre o óculos ), que estava com o cantinho da lente um pouco lascada/ quebrada, mas que era um óculos que eu usava pra tirar fotos.. e não aparecia o quebrado. Tinha comprado na Europa, apesar de quebradinho tinha um apreço por ele, encontraram e jogaram fora.. sem ao menos me perguntar. Fora isso tudo excelente, o apartamento tava com um pouco de areia no piso; mas por conta das hóspedes que saíram, que zonearam o ape.
