Jose's apartment is in a great location, within Porto. It is in the heart of the historical city centre; walking distance to churches, cathedrals, cafes, and quaint little shops. The apartment is lightly furnished in sophisticated fashion.

Jun 27, 2019We made a same day booking for a 2 night stay in Porto. The response was quick which was great. The location of the apartment is great, making it easy to walk everywhere, with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. It is also very close to the Sao Bento metro station. The apartment itself is minimalistic and spacious, and can comfortably sleep 6 people. \ Regarding amenities, there is no washing machine and you will need to bring your own tea and coffee etc. ( bedding, towels, toilet paper, kitchen utensils are provided for) We had a situation with the building maintenance, which is out of the control of the apartment owner, however feel, that it could have been better managed and communicated. Upon checking in, we were notified that the building was having a problem with a water leak, and maintenance would need to come and fix the pipes the next morning for a few hours. The owner assured us, this will be quick and of the least disturbance. For the inconvenience of not being able to use the kitchen sink and the disturbance caused, complementary parking was offered. We were totally fine with this. When we used the main entrance that evening, the lobby ceiling was dripping with water, through the ceiling light sockets, and all over the floor. We notified the owners immediately. With no response that evening. The next morning maintenance took longer then anticipated and felt like a full on construction site due to the drilling. The owners apologised and assured us not to worry., and that further compensations would be made. We left before they had finished. Upon returning, the kitchen was dusty and dirty, we texted the owner and they gave us the option to check out and they would refund the 2nd night or stay with further compensation to be discussed. Due to the lack of time, we decided to stay. With the check out, we would just leave with the keys in the apartment. However, we did not have any form of communication from the owners, so decided to call (international calls that we had to pay) to see what further compensations could be made. After a few calls and a bit of back and forth, the owners agreed to compensate 25% of the accommodation. They were immediate in the action which we appreciate.

Jun 27, 2019L'appartement est réellement fidèle aux photos, propre, clair et vraiment sublime. Il est idéalement placé, proche des principaux lieux de visites (pont luis, se do porto, gare de Sao Bento, avenue des aliados..) J'ai vraiment hâte de revenir à Porto et louer cet appartement car nous en avons très peu profité des belles installations.
Jun 27, 2019This penthouse was perfect for me and my three friends. Very spacious, clean and beautiful views of the tower. We especially liked how central it was to everything in Porto. It's a fabulous place in many ways. The host was super accommodating and extremely helpful.
Jun 27, 2019Jose was great! The Apartment was extremely neat and comfortable. We all slept well and it is located right in the heart of everything. We were able to walk to almost all of the sights. Also, I really appreciated the help with parking and with food recommendations.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment was centrally located with great views, spacious interior, and comfortable furnishings. We stayed in July, so the second floor was quite warm, although open windows made for a great breeze. Joana was very warm and welcoming and gave us great advice about beautiful Porto. We can't wait to come back to Porto and would happily stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019A beautiful, clean and very spacious apartment on top 2 floors of apartment building. Nice views in two directions and great location, everything within walking distance. Private parking available in the building for 7.50 per day. Excellent mobile wifi equipment. Very warm and informative welcome by Joana. She was very helpful during our stay. It was very hot in porto, and also in the bedrooms. We had a bit of a struggle to cool the rooms as there were no fans and opening the windows brought streetnoise inside. We would certainly recommend this apartment to visitors of porto!
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is extraordinally well located in the heart of Porto, and easy to access. This duplex, with a terrasse, is absolutely perfect for two couples or more, and perfectly located for nice dinners in old Porto and for walks on the river side!

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento de Jose es realmente espacioso y limpio. Esta ubicado muy cerca de todas las zonas turisticas y bares y restaurantes. El edificio donde esta el apartamento dispone de un parking privado comunicado con el ascensor del edificio. Una estancia genial!!

Jun 27, 2019Isabel est très serviable et l'accueil est très chaleureux. L'appartement est très propre et bien situé au centre du vieux quartier ce qui le rend un petit peu difficile d'accès. Néanmoins une fois installé, tout est à portée de main.

Jun 27, 2019L'appartement est bien situé en plein centre de Porto au pied de la fameuse gare ce qui facilite les visites à pieds. Superbe accueil avec des explications sur les visites sur plan . Merci pour nous avoir gardé nos baguages à la sortie pour facilité les visites le dernier jour sans ces derniers . Seul bémol des travaux en face de l'appartement qui le rende très bruyant avec un gros chantier qui risque de durer plusieurs mois.

Jun 27, 2019Great location by a beautiful metro station. Short walk to the water front or up into the city. The apartment is very comfortable with lots of windows for fresh air if you need. Noise isn’t an issue but there is construction across the street which may wake you up early. Overall a great place that I recommend to everyone!
