Hasu is a very nice person. We met him at check in. It was smooth. Rooms are same as shown in photos. Attached toilets wid each room. Each floor has five rooms al together 10 room on 2 floor s. Kitchen is on 2nd floor. Property is very close to times square. Everything was just perfect.

Jun 27, 2019Used airbnb for the first time by doing a last minute booking, and I am impressed. The place was walking distance to times square and other NYC attractions. Everything from check-in to check-out went smooth as explained in the guide. The best thing I liked was the cleanliness of the place. Would definitely stay here next time I visit NYC.

Jun 27, 2019I didn't meet the host at check-in, but it was a very smooth process. The room is exactly as it appears in the pictures and the housekeeper (who doesn't speak english) was very accommodating when I asked for 2 more pillows. The windows overlook the street, which is lined with restaurants of worldly cuisine - Italian, Brazilian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and more. Because of this, it can be a bit noisy at night, so if you're a light sleeper, best to wear earplugs. The location is perfect and it's walking distance (5-20 minutes) to touristy parts of NYC (central park, theatre district, times square, Carlo's Bake Shop - their cannolis are my weakness). I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting NYC. It's cleaner and bigger than some NYC hotel rooms I've stayed in and it is a fraction of the cost.

Jun 27, 2019The communication was very thorough and accurate, which may our arrival easy. The host is not on site. The space as a perfect location for anyone in town as a tourist, it is close to everything and actually quite quiet. The bed was comfortable and pleasant. There are goo restaurants all around and most anything you could need is within walking distance. There is a shared kitchen area and through way right outside the bedroom door so there is noise from other guests coming and going in the evening but all the guests staying were very conscientious.

A descrição do anúncio foi precisa, é tudo 5 estrelas. O quarto é fantástico como aparenta nas fotografias, equivalente a um 4/5 estrelas. O bairro apesar de estar a 5 minutos da time square é calmo para NYC. Recomendo. Although not personally known the host, he seemed very nice and friendly, the information he provided was accurate. Always attentive to respond to emails. The ad description was accurate, is all 5 stars. The room is fantastic as it appears in the photographs, equivalent to a 4/5 stars. The neighborhood despite being 5 minutes from the times square is quiet for NYC. I recommend, seriously.

Jun 27, 2019La chambre est exactement comme décrite dans l'annonce, très propre, relativement spacieuse et très fonctionnelle. Le vrai plus est son son emplacement, idéalement situé à 5mn de Times Square, la chambre est l'endroit idéal pour passer 4 jours à NY. La chambre 203 donne directement sur la petite cuisine, espace situé sur le palier, ce qui par moment est gênant surtout quand certains hôtes décident de manger en rentrant de soirée à 4h du matin, mais de manière générale, les hôtes sont discrets et respectueux donc l'immeuble reste calme. Le seul point négatif est le bruit ambiant de la rue. La chambre est au 1er étage et la rue est très bruyante, avec l'absence de double vitrage, nous sommes souvent réveillés en pleine nuit...mais je pense que c'est une généralité à Manhattan. Nous n'avons pas vu notre hote, mais tout c'est bien passé, Yasu nous a envoyé tous les codes et nous avons eu aucun souci. Je recommande cet endroit car l'emplacement est idéal et tout est propre et parfait.
Jun 27, 2019The host promptly responded to all my requests. I like the digital locks for both main entrance and room, such convenient. But the helper fogot to change the towels for my third nite stay. The interior is fair. The price is a bit high but the location is gd, many places are walkable. Also it is quite near NYCairporter station, easy to get reach for the first time NY traveller.

Jun 27, 2019La casa è in un zona centralissima e ben servita. Pur essendo a due passi da Times Square è abbastanza silenziosa. La stanza è piccolina ma pulita e molto confortevole. Il letto (una piazza e mezzo) è molto comodo. Ottimo il bagno, nuovissimo. I proprietari, sebbene non li abbiamo visti di persona, sono molto disponibili.
Jun 27, 2019El lugar donde se encuentra ubicado es excelente!! La habitación es tal cual las fotos. Es además limpia y confortable. Cambian las toallas y hay dispenser de shampoo y jabon. Tuvimos un inconveniente con la calefacción (no funcionaba) y fue solucionado rápidamente. Lo mismo con un secador de pelo. Lo informamos y nos dieron otro al día siguiente. La comunicación fue por mail, no conocimos a los anfitriones, pero respondieron en el mismo día. Solo dos cosas a tener en cuenta: chequeen sus mails diariamente por si hay novedades del depto (cambio de claves de ingreso, por ejemplo), y que la cocina esta bien equipada pero no hay microondas. Lo recomiendo y volvería sin dudas!!
Jun 27, 2019Host responds quickly to inquiries and request. Room is located centrally in Manhattan and have lots of restaurants around the area which makes it great. Room is spacious and bathroom is well designed as well. Checking in and out is easy as there is just a passcode that will be provided to you for entrance to the doors.

Jun 27, 2019As almost all the reviews have stated, the room is in a fantastic location walking distance to Times Square and right in Hell's Kitchen, near public transportation and many places to eat. The room itself is clean and comfortable and in addition to the bathroom, it also has a small closet with hangers for your clothes and a shoe rack. There is also a desk and a TV in the room as well. Right outside the room is the second floor kitchen which also has a fridge that has filtered water. The room faces Restaurant Row, which has a lot of activity so if you are a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs.

Cuisine bien équipée Trés bien situé dans un quartier branché et animé avec ses multiples restaurants et bar loundge ....à 5 mn de Time Square. Evidement chambre coté rue un peu bruyante ....nous sommes à 2 pas de Time Square dans le centre !!!!! Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et fait connaissance avec d'autres résidents.....
Jun 27, 2019I felt welcomed from the first moment I decided to make my booking especially it was a very short notice 3 hours from checking in time. and Yasu & Akiko offered to host me easily. Location was perfect surrounded with all kinds of food courts and few minutes from Broadway. Very easy access to the place with the organized instructions sent by email. Place is quiet and room is very tidy and clean. Thank you for the nice 2 nights I spent at your place. I highly recommend the place for those who want enjoy nice location of times square.

Jun 27, 2019(Website hidden by Airbnb) not the word to describe the entire booking process, nor the say as well as checkout. The owners were very attentive and informative to our needs during our 2 night stay. This location is PERFECT to say the least. Public transportation is near in addition to various shops, restaurants, and TIMES SQUARE itself. Building is very secure and the "cleaning lady" is very very very nice and thorough with what she does. We had a late flight out but were able to leave our bags locked in the hallway-this factor made the end of the trip so worth it as I didn't want to haul luggage around all day. The noise(just a few horns and voices as people passed by)is easy to not hear and be able to enjoy a nice sleep. You do have to go to 3rd floor to iron, but I honestly felt like I was in my own home upstairs. Not lots of traffic in building either. Price was affordable and exceptionally lower than hotels in the area. We are looking forward to returning and will definitely be staying here again!!!!

Jun 27, 2019The location is super , very centerimg. My problem was with the understanding that the kitchen is shared and was very poor one. Missing microwave and tosteroven . After 2 night the A/C stop working and till we left was not working. I must say that the hosted suggest to replacethe room but we disided not to becuse the packing agian will take time.
Jun 27, 2019The room was very clean and located in a very convenient area. It took less than 10 minutes to get there from Port Authority. It was also a bit hotel-like in the sense that there were multiple numbered rooms on the floor with individual keypads in which you had to input the given key code. I really liked the sense of security and privacy I had when I was there. Would recommend!

The only concern was it was quite noisy but that's to be expected from staying anywhere in the city. The room was lovely as well and it was great that we could leave our luggage locked up in the kitchen after checking out on the last day. Would definitely stay again - thank you!!

Jun 27, 2019Our host sent us necessary information in advance. However, in other kinds of mail communications, he could be quicker. The location is really good since it's only a few minutes walk to Times Square. A lot of restaurants and bars on this street though which made it quite noisy during the night. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up and down on narrow stairs. The room itself was surprisingly spacious and nice. Our aircon was broken during our stay and was not fixed. Kitchen space is nice. There are bike locks to lock your bags in the kitchen. Didn't know there was a cleaner who came to change the towels sometimes. However, she didn't throw away garbage or cleaned up anything else.
Jun 27, 2019Unit was extremely neat and clean. Not big but will comfortably fit 2 people. Bathroom was very modern and had all the essentials (towels, shampoo, hair dryer, etc). The kitchen is in a shared area, but it's very clean and there is a fridge that you can use to keep your food. There was a portable AC near the window that made summer nights a lot more bearable. We especially liked the key code system, it made checking in a lot easier as we didn't have to coordinate for a time to meet and pass the keys. The place was super convenient and close to everything. There were tons of restaurants around. Subway station was 5-10 min away by foot and Times Square was only 2 blocks away. There was also a big grocery store close by that was open until 1am. Due to its location in midtown Manhattan, there was some noise outside the apartment. I could hear drunk people and trucks honking in the middle of the night, so consider bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. That said, the noise is typical in midtown and it's the cost of being close to everything.

Jun 27, 2019Nous avions réservé la chambre 203. Points positifs : Très bien situé ( 5 min de time square), rue animée avec des restaurants et boutiques à proximité. Le système de code qui remplace les clés est vraiment très pratique. La chambre et la salle de bain sont propres et agréable pour une semaine avec de la place pour ranger ses affaires. Le wifi gratuit fonctionne très bien. Nous n'avons pas cuisiné durant nos vacances mais la cuisine ( partagée avec les autres chambres) est bien pratique ne serais ce que pour mettre des trucs au frigo. Les serviettes de toilette on même été changées en milieu de semaine. Points négatifs : La climatisation intégrée de la chambre devait être en panne et a été remplacée par une clim mobile qui faisait un bruit d'enfer ( obligé de la couper la nuit même si en juin il fesait très chaud). Notre chambre donne sur la rue avec beaucoup de bruit extérieur. Les rideaux n'isolent pas bien de la lumière du jour. Le lit grinçait ce qui n'est pas très agréable dans la nuit. Le rapport qualité / emplacement / prix reste quand même très intéressant, en cas de prochain voyage sur New York nous séjournerons à nouveau là bas.

Jun 27, 2019La verdad muy buena ubicación. Son muy amables cuando tienes algún problema. Es un poco ruidosa pero es lógico estando en esa zona genial cerca de todo. Volvería siempre. Lo que si no tiene microondas y eso a veces afecta tu economía pero te la puedes arreglar. Gracias por una bella estadia!!!
Jun 27, 2019Booked with this account when it was ran by a different group of people. Was told that there were access codes to the building and room that I would be given 5-7 days before I arrive. About two weeks before our stay I saw that Janice had taken over the page. Messages her 5 days before asking for access codes, got no reply. Kept doing it every day with no reply, and the day before very few hours, still with no reply. Landed in NYC and booked a hotel, but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt since our hotel was only a block away. Went to the building, knocked on the door- no answer. Stood there for 15 minutes and repeated but still same result. We left and went to our hotel. Long story short, paid for an Airbnb we didn't get to stay in due to an unresponsive host. We got a refund, but I'm saying this just to warn all future people who may inquire about booking through Janice. Go somewhere else and save yourself some trouble.

Jun 27, 2019Though we had no opportunity to see the owner, it was no problems as all the instructions given were very clear. The location was very attractive. It would be great if the water bottles were to be available for us as we were too tired to go out and buy them after a long flight. We dived into a bed by forgetting that we were actually very very thirsty. The room was clean and well organised. We felt that the owners are very considerate people. We were grateful to such a clean and comfortable room. Thank you so much. お世話になりました｡ありがとうございました｡

Right smack bang in the middle of hells kitchen, great food options and bars at your door step. Thanks for the great stay!

Jun 27, 2019Ficamos muito satisfeitos com as acomodações, as quais estavam perfeitamente compatíveis com o anunciado; o apto. estava limpo e confortável; tivemos uma recepção amável da pessoa encarregada pela limpeza que nos deixou bem à vontade; a cozinha compartilhada estava organizada, com utensílios novos e espaço adequado para fazer pequenas refeições. Tivemos boa convivência com os demais usuários quanto ao espaço comum e que nos proporcionou bem estar e segurança. A localização é ótima, perto de estações de metrô e da Times Square, realmente a 5 minutos.

La limpieza, la ubicación, el poder tener wifi gratuito y con buena velocidad, la cocina, etc. Sólo destacaría algo negativo y es que la cama era algo incómoda, sería lo único que cambiaría de este apartamento. Sin duda si tuviera que volver a NY me alojaría de nuevo aquí. La zona es tranquila pero a la vez muy bien conectada.

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic and professional Airbnb. All communications were clear and informative. We received information on entry and directions a few days before arrival, giving us plenty of time to make travel arrangements. The location is amazing and there are so many great restaurants around. One of our favourites was immediately across the road! It is very noisy at night so earplugs are a must for light sleepers. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return!

Jun 27, 2019Pros: great location and really safe environment. The wifi also worked perfectly. Cons: Hosts are lagged behind in responding to our messages. When we arrived, we immediately noticed the bed sheets were dirty and unchanged since we found several hairs (lighter than mine or my mom's) at the end of the bed, not on the pillow, but in side the blanket and AT THE END OF THE BED. This is unacceptable and made us really uncomfortable so we contacted the hosts immediately around 9pm. However, they didn't respond nor send anyone to change the sheets for us. Luckily, we ran into this cleaning lady the next morning and she was really nice and changed our bed sheets, pillow cases and even added another blanket for us. Till this point, the hosts still had not replied. There wasn't a hand wash or soap in the bathroom which we thought was really weird. Who's gonna pack a hand soap with them when they are doing airbnb (???). For the kitchen, just FYI, there wasn't a microwave.... a microwave! So for all the peeps who gonna have leftover food and need to put in the fridge (they sure do have that thank god), pizza, soup, rice, or any stir-fried dishes are not good choices. Unless you don't mind reheating everything on the stove. Lastly, the bathroom doorknob was broken. Whenever I tried to open the door from the inside, the knob would come off. I saw someone commenting about this but I'm not sure if it was the same room. It wasn't a big deal since none of us locked ourselves inside...but something to keep in mind, especially for people really value their travel experiences and living conditions. In general, it's a convenient place for people who just need a room to stay. I started to speculate there is a company or group of people running this business. They have cleaning ladies (not just one), just like hotels. This whole building has several rooms inside and no oven or microwave in the kitchen. Therefore the hosts are probably just there as a public figure to put on their profile but they don't actually live here. I was looking for a more interactive and personal experience so I was a little bit disappointed.

Les lits sont régulièrement fait, les serviettes sont changées aussi régulièrement, mais surtout l'emplacement est juste parfait, on peut voir Times Square depuis l'appartement. Le prix est un peu élevé mais en vaut la peine, honnêtement si je reviens à New York je reviendrais ici si c'est toujours disponible.

La cama es matrimonial, sin embargo la foto es engañosa aunque en el anuncio se especifica que es matrimonial. Todo estaba limpio. Todo ordenado. Puedes tomar agua de la llave sin problema. Puedes comprar despensa y guardarla en el refrigerador. Súper cerca de time square y muchos lugares de Manhattan. Se puede caminar a varios lugares. Lo recomiendo.

Jun 27, 2019It's ALL about location! And this location is GREAT if you like restaurants and nightlife. So, there's Times Square to the East sure, but even better in my opinion, is the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood a block West. This neighborhood is friendly and welcoming with fantastic restaurants and small shops. It is BUSY and a bit noisy at night so bring ear plugs - we turned the A/C fan on to drown out the noise and it worked just fine. Great place, great location!!

La rue est parfois bruyante mais c'est New-York. Si nous y retournons, il est fort probable que nous reprendrons le même logement ou un autre du même endroit.

Jun 27, 2019Killer location. Everything we needed to have a pleasant 48 hour trip to NYC. Were there on both a Saturday and Sunday night. Pretty noisy, even in the late (late) hours of the night/morning. Bring ear plugs. Otherwise, very happy. Would book again without hesitation.

The cleaning lady was so sweet and offered to check us in early, and carry our luggage upstairs for us. We would recommend this place to anyone and will be hopefully staying there again in the future!

La struttura è pulitissima e le camere ed il bagno sono accoglienti. Le uniche piccole pecche sono: letto rumoroso (andrebbe cambiato assolutamente); camera abbastanza rumorosa, soprattutto di notte vista la presenza di molti locali (bisognerebbe insonorizzare meglio le finestre); la mancanza dell’ascensore. Per il resto è davvero perfetto per una vacanza, breve o lunga a NY. - - - The location is really great, a stone's throw from Times Square and well connected to the subway. The neighborhood is Hell's Kitchen and the street where it is located is full of clubs and restaurants. The structure is very clean and the rooms and the bathroom are welcoming. The only small flaws are: noisy bed (it should be changed absolutely); quite noisy room, especially at night due to the presence of many rooms (the windows should be better soundproofed); the lack of the elevator. For the rest it's really perfect for a short or long NY vacation.

They were kind enough to let us check in early AND leave our bags in the common area after check-out. Couldn't have asked to stay in a better location with friendly hosts.

Jun 27, 2019L’appartamento è molto comodo, a circa 5 minuti a piedi da Times Square e da diverse linee della metropolitana. Molto comodo poter usare il frigorifero per poter far colazione prima di partire ogni mattina. Essendo in centro si gira tranquillamente anche di notte senza nessun pericolo.

Nunca vi a Yasu&Akiko porque no tuve necesidad de hacerlo en persona, pero cuando tuve alguna duda siempre respondieron con rapidez. Las indicaciones que te dan para llegar son muy útiles, y el sistema para que puedas dejar tus maletas después del check out es de gran ayuda

O acesso é todo por fechadura eletrônica, o que traz segurança e praticidade. Cama confortável, bom chuveiro. Apenas um ponto de atenção. Como está localizado numa região com muitos bares e restaurantes, pode haver barulho durante a noite, que pode incomodar, dependendo do quarto onde estiver, pois alguns deles ficam de frente para a rua. Além disso, é muito comum sirenes de ambulâncias. O isolamento acústico de nosso quarto não era dos melhores. Resumindo, uma excelente opção para ficar em Manhattan. Quando voltar a NY, ficaria novamente.
Jun 27, 2019My stay was good, but not worth the price. My only complaints were how cold the room was, even with the heater on 88 and the plain boring room. I wish they would have had some decorations and a better bed. Location was perfect.

Jun 27, 2019Yasu & Akiko provided a wonderfully concise stay in NYC. They were exceptionally quick with answering communication, and they provided plenty of information to help us both arrive and have a comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the amenities were quite up to par (the heater was especially appreciated), and we had no concerns during our stay. The location felt pretty safe and convenient with a lot of food options nearby. The most we could say is that the room could possibly feel a bit small, especially with the closet door open. We didn't have much luggage or purchases with us, and so it wasn't of major concern. Other than that, extremely helpful and very well-tailored stay.

Jun 27, 2019Yasu & Akiko’s place is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for somewhere close to all the action. Times Square is a block and a half away. You are also in a main restaurant area so you have plenty of places to choose from to eat at. The room was the perfect temperature (space heater was on when we arrived). Everything was also very clean. It was nice having a private bathroom en-suite. Check in time was at 3pm, however, we did request an earlier check in time due to other obligations, and we were actually able to get in even earlier than that which was great. I normally stay in The Village, however, if I were to stay in this area again, I would definitely stay with Yasu and Akiko again.

Jun 27, 2019Our room was in a perfect location!! We were within no more than 6 blocks from the broadway shows we came to see and subways that head uptown & downtown! There are great restaurants on our street & such diverse choices in short walking distances! We got juice every morning from Juice Generation & there were 2 health food markets in easy carrying distance. If you want to stay near Times Square or the Theatre District, it’s a great place to stay!
