Neighborhood Overview
Williamsburg feels like a little village to me, which is so special in a city like New York. There are great restaurants, bars and cafes nearby, my favorites are Cafe Mogador and Cafe Colette. I'm near the water so you can walk to the river and catch beautiful sunsets. Macarren Park is nearby, you can lay out in the sun or visit their farmer's market on Saturday. Guillerma is so lovely and her home is peaceful, calm and clean. She was a wonderful host. Her linens are the finest, the backyard is a little piece of heaven and her company is divine. The apartment is like an oasis in the lively neighborhood of Williamsburg, which is packed with shops, restaurants and bars. I will definitely be staying here every time I return to Brooklyn. And Harry the cat is a joy.
Jun 27, 2019The home was very clean and neat; fresh fruit and hot coffee available every morning at home. good location, within minutes to walk to the subway station and the neighborhood is convenient and had a lot of street arts. There's a park nearby so u can go jogging in the morning. G is a nice lady and she showed me around the first day, provided me with a lot of tips for me to get fully involved in NYC. Harry the cat is so cute and clean!!
Jun 27, 2019Guillerma's Private Room is terrific. The neighborhood is excellent and Manhattan is only 10 minutes away via the L Train, which is only 2 blocks from her. Guillerma was an excellent host, provided instructions and overall guidelines. The Room is perfect for sleeping, not having to wake up to street noise is hard to come by in NYC. I would certainly stay at Guillerma's again. Harry was cool, too.
Jun 27, 2019My stay in Guillerma's flat was just perfect : great location with a lot of bars, restaurants and cool places around, very close train station on the Line L which is going in 10 min to manathan and very nice appartement where you fell immediatly welcome. Guillerma is really helpful and great to talk. I definitively recommand this place.

Jun 27, 2019Guillerma was the most fantastic host! I loved my time at her beautiful apartment. Her place is in such an awesome location - I fell completely in love with Williamsburg and Guillerma's is right next to so many fantastic bars, restaurants and gorgeous shops. I was a solo female traveller, and felt totally safe coming and going from the apartment on my own late at night. If you're a yogi, ask Guillerma for recommendations - she gave me lots of tips for really great studios nearby. And make sure you check out Cafe Colette at the end of the street - delicious! Thanks, Guillerma, for a fantastic stay. I hope to visit again soon!
Jun 27, 2019G is a wonderful host, kind and willing to help. She attended to things that need attention promptly. Communication via email was very good. The bedroom is a partition so no closing of doors. Not an issue as she was hardly there. When she was she was respectful ie quite. I feel this is a good stay for a single traveler due to the size of the bed (double) and the apartment. Note there is no washer dryer.

Jun 27, 2019Guillerma was a lovely and generous host! I loved her apartment's style and amenities. It was close to everything in Williamsburg, including the L Subway so it was an easy commute to Manhattan. Harry was the pièce de résistance, her gregarious and playful feline roommate. The place looks as good or better than in the photos and it was easy to communicate with Guillerma for check in and out! 5-stars all around.

Guillerma was a great host. cooperative, availble any time for any need. her appartement is very warm clean and equieiped with every thing from cooking to the best hair dryer. the best lication in williansburg which is the best location in NYC right now. very recommended to women who travel by themselves. and if you need to have a cigarette from time to time one can smoke in the backyard :)
Jun 27, 2019G was a wonderful host! Super accommodating, lovely and helpful - a great communicator before and during my stay. The apartment was in a fantastic location - just a stones throw away from the main street and train station. Its comfortable, clean and quite spacious. It has a great courtyard out the back and all the essentials. It was a calm and quiet apartment which was great to come back to after the hustle and bustle in NYC. The rooms itself is a partition, but was set up to still feel like your own little private sanctuary! I would certainly recommend this for any solo travelers. Thanks again G for a wonderful stay!

Jun 27, 2019Very nice place close to the Bedford station (took me one minute walk) which is one stop from Manhattan. The neighborhood itself is full of stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. So even at night is feels safe. Guillerma was great host! super friendly and always available to answer any questions and give excellent recommendations. The apartment is really nice as well - clean, cosy, quite, and have a great backyard. The rooms itself is a partition like shown, but felt completely privet to me.

Jun 27, 2019My stay with Guillerma could not have been better! She was very nice and hospitable. I felt welcome and comfortable staying with her which was extremely important to me considering this was my first time using AirBnB. Guillerma's home is great. I love the decor and it's such a positive environment to be in. It was great having the outdoor living space as the weather was gorgeous during my stay. In terms of location, it doesn't get much better than this. Just a few blocks from the L train made my morning commute to Union Square in Manhattan ~15 minutes. Williamsburg is also a very cool part of town. Guillerma provided me with excellent advice about where to go and what places to check out. The reason for my stay was actually to find a permanent place to live in the city. Not only has Guillerma been a great host, she also has been very helpful in my apartment search! I highly recommend staying with Guillerma!

Jun 27, 2019Guillerma was the perfect host! Super friendly, reliable and welcoming. It was easy to communicate and arrange everything. I caught a bad cold during my stay and she was so nice. And I loved her apartment! I was so inspired when it came to interior and so on. And my "room" felt like my own little sanctuary. And not to forget about the perfect location in the best neighborhood in New York. But I think her poor cat Harry musn't have been very fond of me; since I am both allergic and scared of cats.

She was always really helpful with whatever questions I had, while also making loads of brilliant recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to check out. The location was perfect, not only for its close proximity to Bedford Av subway, but also for the sheer quantity of great restaurants, bars, shops and more right on the door step. Highly recommended!

El departamento es tal cual como se describe. El Barrio es muy lindo y tranquilo. La ubicación es excelente a dos cuadras de la estación Bedford de la linea de tren L con lo que se hace muy fácil de conectarse con Manhattan y el resto de Brooklyn. Es muy recomendable y me volvería a alojar en este lugar.

Jun 27, 2019Guillerma is so lovely, I had a great time at her place! It's close living quarters, but she was very respectful of space. The location is absolutely wonderful, right there on Bedford Ave close to everything, walk to the ferry, walk to Wholefoods, whatever you need. And it isn't noisy in terms of street noise from bars or anything, but if you are a light sleeper bring your ear plugs (you'd want them for anywhere in NYC!) as the walls are thin and you might hear the neighbours TV/ walking on floorboards. Her cat Harry is cute and playful. Thanks for the lovely time!!!

Jun 27, 2019Amazing location, Guillerma's apartment is very lovely quiet and clean. Located right off Bedford Avenue which is very central for great restaurants, shops, bars and the subway. I had a very nice time NY and Guillerma made it even nicer, very open and polite and she is very flexible with her check-in and out hours. I was in New York for a wedding and flew in very late and flew out very early without any problems. She is quick to communicate and very clear. Cat lovers will lover hanging out on the couch with Harry who is very playful. I had a great time, 10 out of 10 would stay again!
Jun 27, 2019Location is great, in a interesting area of Williamsburg, and close to the ferry boat station - a very convenient and confortable transport to Manhattan. By the pictures and comments I was aware that the room had no proper walls separating it from the rest of the apartment, and Guillerma made all efforts to keep the apartment always quiet and silent. It was not a issue for me and I could sleep well. Charming place.
Jun 27, 2019Guillerma's house is located in a really convenient and great neighborhood. It's just 1 stop from Manhattan and had great restaurants nearby. The place is also really comfy and had all the things you would need. I suggest Guillerma's place to anyone who is travelling alone or in 2 to NYC.
Jun 27, 2019Guillerma is a great host. She provided everything I needed and the communication was outstanding. I accidentally booked her place one day to late (arrived a day earlier than I booked her place) but she made it possible that I could stay an extra night before the official booking. I was so happy for that! Guillerma is a strong and very nice person, we had great conversations. Only one thing to mention is that the room is not exactly a room, much more a covered area with a bed, drawer etc. But privacy was totally no issue for me, as she is very quiet and respects silence allot. I totally recommend that stay, also because it couldn't be more local – Williamsburg is the place to be, many coffee places and restaurants around. Super nice and beautiful people around that area!

O apartamento é limpo, bem organizado, muito fiel à descrição que consta no anúncio. A Guillherma me recebeu muito bem. Ela é uma mulher agradável, com uma energia maravilhosa e vibrante, e isso se reflete no apartamento, cheio de vida e personalidade. Apesar de ser um quarto semi-privativo (o que consta na descrição), em nenhum momento senti minha privacidade desrespeitada. Dormi até tarde alguns dias e foi muito tranquilo. A cama é ótima. Amei os travesseiros! Ter um abajur ao lado da cara também foi bom para poder ler até mais tarde. O banheiro também é limpo e organizado. Quanto à localização, não poderia ter sido melhor. Fica a duas quadras do metrô, em uma rua com movimento de pessoas até mais tarde. Mesmo voltando depois das 23h quase todos os dias, pude vir a pé até o apartamento em segurança. Por perto há também boas cafeterias, bares e livrarias deliciosas. Ah, e sem esquecermos do Harry, o gato. Ele é adorável :)

Conveniently located right on Bedford ave, close to the subway station and many coffee shops and restaurants. Guillerma was super helpful and responsive and her place is very cute and nicely decorated. I didn’t just have a lovely stay, I gained an awesome new friend :) would def come back to stay at her place again.

Friendly, gracious host who was most prompt with responses and flexible with check-in/out. Very clean and cozy, definitely plan on staying here again.
