Jun 27, 2019El barrio es muy bueno, muy cerca del Central Park y de River side. Barrio tranquilo y muy bueno para caminar. Janice nos dio datos de comida cercana y otros lugares para conocer. El departamento era más pequeño de lo esperado y estaba con muchas cajas y maletas del anfitrión, lo que hacía muy difícil el acceso en el pasillo, incluso en la entrada. Al llegar, el basurero de la cocina estaba con basura y había loza sucia. El aseo no estaba muy bien hecho. No me gustó que el anfitrión estuviera algunas horas en el departamento durante la entrega y además entrara cuando quisiera al departamento, utilizando sus llaves, sin golpear. Incluso un día que estábamos durmiendo.

Jun 27, 2019Janice war eine gute Gastgeberin, sehr kommunikativ und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr klein, aber die Betten komfortabel, die Wohnung sauber. Die Wohnung selbst und die Umgebung sind sehr ruhig, sehr gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel.

Jun 27, 2019Janice met us promptly and greeted us with keys, restaurant info, and new pillows for our beds! Overall a good experience. It is a shared space, which i did not realize when i booked. the other guest was great and in her own room with a curtain divider. Not a problem, just my first time using airbnb.
Jun 27, 2019Janice is very kind to us. she told us many things about spending NYC, so we had a great time!! The apartment is near from train, about 5 minutes, and clean enough to spend very comfortable time! There are many kinds of restaurants around the apartment. Japanese, pizza, starbucks!!!
Jun 27, 2019All in all a good experience. The bedroom is separated by a curtain so it's not 100% private, but still alright. I think it should be mentioned more clearly in the description since it's not really visable on the photos. Janice is a very kind hostess and helps out everywhere she can if you ask her. It's a good place to stay if you're spending the major time of the day outside in the city to see things and only be there to sleep. All in all a clean and warm apartment. It's located near to metro stations and next to the central park. There are some nice bars and places to grab some food around which is really good especially to grab some breakfast to go early in the morning. New York is a wonderful city and i definitely had a superb time.

Jun 27, 2019Janice was a great host! Always present to help and advise us. The apartment is in a great location. Very close to public transport. Bathroom a bit small but functional. We were able to use the kitchen as we wanted, it's great! We'd like to spend more time in Janice's house for our next visit to NY. Thanks again!
Jun 27, 2019Janice is very warm and her hospitality is impeccable. I had no issues with the space, and she checked in on me from time to time, but mostly left me to my own devices, which I prefer when traveling/on a work trip. It was easy to arrange pick up and return of the key. The space is small and shared, but perfect if you don't plan to spend a ton of time there (I used it mostly as a crash pad-was out most days and evenings).

Jun 27, 2019Le sejour s'est bien passé, malgré le fait que nous n'ayons pas compris qu'il s'agissait d'un appartement partagé (où il est necessaire de passer par l'une des chambres avant d'arriver dans la seconde qui n'est séparée que d'un paravent...) Janice est cependant très accueillante et est prête à nous aider pour le sejour se passe au mieux !

Jun 27, 2019Även om det står att ni har eget boende så kan de innebära delat boende. Det är mycket saker överallt, lådor och möbler. Trångt och mörkt i lägenheten. Läget är bra men boendet kunde vara mycket bättre om de fanns plats att röra sig utan att vara rädd för att riva ner någon låda.

Jun 27, 2019Janice's place is a typical NYC railroad style apartment with a narrow corridor connecting the various rooms. The bathroom is narrow, but serviceable with a nice new showerhead. The kitchen was spotless and fully equipped, the large table doubling as a convenient workspace. The bed was a futon and not altogether agreeable to one accustomed to a regular mattress -- but, soon to be replaced, I'm told. Here's the astonishing thing: the place is extraordinarily quiet for Manhattan -- almost preternaturally quiet -- a welcome respite from the din of the city and a boon for sleeping! The neighborhood is rife with restaurants and other amenities, and not least of all, Janice, the host, was a most congenial, helpful and a responsive communicator.
