Usually rents for $249 / night As you enter the lobby decorated with colorful hawaiian flowers and spiritual buddha statues, you feel excited as you enter the newly installed elevators (2) which is trimmed in beautiful hawaiian wood. You are quickly transported on to the eighth floor. There you turn right and see unit #812, slowly open the door and see an unobstructed million dollar view of world famous Diamond Head. Walking out onto the lanai, you see the horizon, the best part of Waikiki beach, the many greens & blues of the ocean. Sailboats, sun worshipers, and a wonderful blue sky surround you and welcome you to your new home. This space is almost twice the size of most other units and has twice the fabulous views!!! NO SMOKING in the entire building including lanai (patio). The association will fine the owners $250, which the smoking guest will be responsible for. Please do not run the Air Conditioner with the windows OPEN!

I will appreciate you doing the following: 1. My cleaning person does not do dishes, cups & all dining wear so please wash, dry and stow them appropriately where you found them. 2. Please dispose of all trash in the trash chute near the stairs (all floors have them) 3. Please move back all furniture to its original position if moved. 4. This is a no smoking room. 5. Please treat the space like it is your own home. 6. Parking hours are the same as room. 1st day : 3pm to 10am following day. 10am - 10am thereafter. 7. The windows must remain open in the room with the Air Conditioner compressor or it will overheat. Only during a severe storm should it be closed temporarily. Please use the Air Conditioner at a minimum during this time. Thank you

Jun 27, 2019We loved the location of this studio, it's extremely convenient with an amazing beach within 2 min walk and plenty of bus stops around. There was a situation with pooling of water near the windows with heavy rainfall but we were some of the first to rent this place and as soon as we told Kurt he made arrangements to have the problem fixed. He even paid us a meal to compensate for the hassle. We had everything we needed cooking wise (pots and pans). Make sure you plan for beach gear since there is nothing available in the studio.
Jun 27, 2019The location is PERFECT if you want to surf, see Waikiki, and get to other parts of the island and at a great value. Kurt was proactive in providing important information prior to check in which minimized uncertainty about details. Also, he was accommodating in regards to facilitating non-standard check-in time and luggage. Further, he checked in on us when we arrived and was consistently available for any requests and questions. Great experience, thanks Kurt!
Jun 27, 2019Kurt is great at keeping you up to date on checking in and the details of your stay. The studio is in a great location at the end of Waikiki, and the views are stunning. It can get noisy because of the bar and traffic. There is a bus stop nearby so it is easy to get to and from the airport. The room did smell like cigarette smoke, so we had to open the windows to air it out.
Jun 27, 2019This was our first experience with Airbnb and I have to say it was PERFECT. Kurt is really super host. He picked us up from the airport. The apartment has a wonderful view to Diamond Head. Close to the beach,restaurants and shops. Several bus stops are really close. It is located at the end of Waikiki so you can find a lots of space on the beach. We will definitely come back next year.
Jun 27, 2019Kurt's place is great. He has everything you need in the room. The room was clean and organized. The view is fabolous, waking up to the ocean gives a great positive energy to start your day. The only deception, was not having an actual lanai, balcony, where you could have the possibility of enjoying a breakfast outside. He did describe that there would be one, but in fact it's not. Just large windows, which still didn't block the exceptional outdoor atmosphere. The workers in the building are all friendly, with a helping and caring mood. Everything is close and satisfying. Jun 27, 2019Kurt's place was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! It was very clean and it was truly a HOME IN PARADISE away from home. His home also had everything to make it very comfortable. There were comfortable couches for a lounge and sitting area, and the little table where we ate was good for 2 people and we always had a "romantic meal with a view," at no additional costs like the fancy restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were not thin and there were 2 "tempurpedic-like" pillows that my husband and I---and our necks appreciated. The home also included dish soap and sponge, paper towels, soft Kleenex tissue boxes, liquid hand soap in the bathroom and liquid body soap with shampoo and conditioner. The home also included a portable fan and hairdryer :) I share this information because if your going to stay in this place for a week, you would want to keep it clean because it started clean---and also because it's good to maintain the home so it continues to be comfortable. Furthermore, Kurt really pays attention to details. He had plenty of hangers for our clothes, the iron and iron board were of good quality and there was a mat and umbrella that we used as we did scenic stops and picnics. The home's location is awesome and if you need any emergency items go to the ABC store below or meals without the hassle, you could call Teddy's burgers and just pick it up next to the lobby! Call ahead and order because the lines get long fairly quickly. The views are amazing and we felt privileged to have such a view at a fraction of hotel prices. And we had the convenience of heating our left overs which saved us money--unlike hotels. We didn't cook, but the fridge is big enough to store groceries if needed and there were enough pots, pans, and utensils for meals. As a host KURT IS GREAT! He responded quickly to my questions and he turned on the AC prior to us checking in. He was kind and thoughtful. We would love to stay again! Mahalo Kurt. God bless!

Jun 27, 2019If you are planning to spend some time in the Honolulu area it would be hard to do better (without dropping some serious cash) than staying at Kurt's 8th floor unit in the Waikiki Grand! You will wake up each morning to a beautiful sunrise over your unobstructed and closeup view of Diamond Head. Incredible! You will be walking distance to all of Waikiki and the bus ($2.50 one way) and trolley system is so efficient that you are not long from Pearl Harbor on the west to Hanauma Bay on the east and even places beyond. Leonard's Bakery with its malasadas is a 10 minute walk up Kapahulu. So ono! The building is well maintained, and the unit is very clean and comfortable. It is small, but you aren't coming to Hawaii to sit in your room, are you? Although Hawaii Grand is at a relatively busy intersection (Kalakaua and Kapahulu) we did not find traffic noise to be an issue. There is a glorious view from the 10th floor sun deck - a good place to have a drink or pupus in the late afternoon. The pool is small and not very nice, but you are 500 feet from Waikiki Beach. It was very easy dealing with Kurt. He checked with us before and during our stay and always got back to us promptly if we had any questions. We had a great stay. Mahalo, Kurt!
Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Kurts unit. He was there when we arrived and it was nice to meet him. The unit is completely remodeled and had a great TV and excellent wifi too. Amazing views as well as a nice location for food , bus and beach access. It was also nice that we found 2 beach chairs in the closet to take to the beach. We will stay with Kurt again. Thanks for the wonderful time.
Jun 27, 2019Die Organisation war vorbildlich. Rechtzeitig vor Ankunft hat Kurt uns den W-Lan- und Zimmercode mitgeteilt. Außerdem war er immer erreichbar und hat noch eine zweite Ansprechpartnerin für Probleme genannt. Die Lage ist sehr schön, da der Strand nur ca. 150 Meter entfernt ist. Dazu kommt der tolle freie Blick über den Zoo zum Diamond Head Krater und, wenn auch etwas schräg, zum Meer. Die Klimaanlage ist neu und einfach zu bedienen. Das Zimmer ist groß genug, dass gilt auch für das Badezimmer. Die Küchenzeile ist groß wurde von uns aber nur für das Frühstück gebraucht. Es sind nur 2 Kochplatten vorhanden, aber wer kocht schon wirklich, zumal die Lebensmittelpreise sehr hoch sind. Das Zimmer war auch sehr sauber, Staubsauger und Ersatzmüllbeutel sind vorhanden. Den kleinen Balkon mit in den Wohnbereich zu integrieren und zwei große Fenster einzubauen hat uns gut gefallen, da dort ein Tisch stand an dem wir jeden Morgen gefrühstückt haben mit dem tollen Blick. Allerdings spürt man, dass man in einer Großstadt ist. Das tägliche Leben beginnt sehr früh am morgen. Lebensmittel kann man gleich in der Nähe in den ABC Stores kaufen. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel fahren je nach Ziel in der Nähe ab. Der Pool ist klein und ungünstig im Innenhof gelegen. Allerdings waren wir nur am Strand. Der Strandabschnitt hat uns besser gefallen als der Rest von Waikiki, da der Strand an den Hotels nicht tief ist und voller ist an unserem Strand. Wir hatten auf jeden Fal eine tolle Zeit und waren sehr zufrieden!

All in all a comfortable, bright studio apartment 8 floors above the street. Close to the famous Rainbow Drive In and TheBus system. Thank you Kurt for your hospitality!

Jun 27, 2019We stayed in Kurt's condo at the Waikiki Grand For 4 nights in April prior to going on a cruise. We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The bed was comfortable and we had every necessity we needed. The view of Diamond Head & the beach were fabulous! The location is terrific! A few steps away and you are on the beach. There is a Starbucks and an ABC store very close. We couldn't have asked for a better location or a better host! The deck on is terrific! We had our coffee and tea out there most every day. Met lots of nice people. Kurt helped our with ideas for transportation from the air port and answered all our questions. The staff at the Waikiki Grand were so nice and helpful. We rented a car for two days and used the parking. The laundry facility is great. I can't say enough about how pleased and happy we were? I know where we will stay next time we go to Hawaii! Jun 27, 2019Me and my boyfriend had a lovely time staying at this lovely unit in Waikiki Grand. The unit itself is nice and clean with complete amenities. Kurt provided everything we could possibly need including beach umbrella, beach chairs, ice box, full kitchen, towels and etc. We had our own view of Diamond Head from the room. The view from the common balcony was breathtaking. The location was perfect and just a quick walk to the famous Waikiki Beach and shops. The room was ready for our early check in at 11am which was very helpful. Kurt was very responsive to our questions. Thanks a lot for the stay.

Beautiful views of Diamond head and Waikiki beach especially from the sundeck. Just a short stroll to the Beach. Love that Kurt left us beach chairs and umbrellas to use. Also has super fast WiFi! Will definitely be looking to stay here again when we return!
Jun 27, 2019This is a wonderful apartment at the quiet end of Waikiki. It is a perfect location. The views are fantastic and, as a previous reviewer noted, you can see the flamingos in the zoo. Kurt has thought of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We loved our time here. Thoroughly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Kurt's place! He was very responsive to emails and texts. The pictures hardly do the views justice. Kurt was gracious enough to let us check in early! The place was clean and inviting. The room's set up makes it easy to feel like you have more space than there is. We loved the views and AC. The 10th floor sun deck has the most amazing views of the ocean and Diamond Head. We also loved the fact that Starbucks and plenty of ABC stores are so close (right around the corner). We had the chance to enjoy the Honolulu Zoo since it was practically right outside the door. We could see flamingos and hear zoo noises from our windows. The location is equally as great for quiet since you are farther from the main hustle and bustle of the Waikiki crowds. It's about an 8 min walk to the famous Duke statue. So nothing is really that far away. We tried the burger joint downstairs for a quick breaksfast one morning. Also it's a great location for shuttles for tours. Thank you again to Kurt for the use of his wonderful condo and our 1st AirBNB experience.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Kurt's studio in early June and couldn't have picked a more ideal location to enjoy Waikiki. As everyone says, the view is the best you'll find, both from the room itself and particularly from the deck upstairs. Staying at that end of the beach also gave us the opportunity to discover the beautiful Kapiolani Park and beyond. Such a peaceful area. We hired a couple of bicycles and pedalled around. The studio had everything we needed for our stay and the hotel staff were also very accommodating and friendly. Communication with Kurt was excellent and we'd highly recommend this end of Waikiki as an ideal vacation destination. Our only disappointment was having to leave!

Jun 27, 2019For our first AirBnB experience, we were fortunate to stay at Kurt's "The Absolute Best - Waikiki". He not only helped us navigate the AirBnB process, but was also an exceptional host. Before we got there, he responded to my many questions very quickly. His listing was accurate. The proximity to Waikiki Beach was wonderful. Our five weeks there were just indescribable. Kurt and his assistant Irene are very personable and while we were there, responded to all our inquiries very quickly. It was the best time ever. Although not required, the amenities that were provided (cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, iron/iron board, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, kleenex, paper towels, various kitchen appliances) made this a true "5 star" experience.

That's a better view than you can get at a 5 star hotel. The apartment is just how the pictures show, and Kurt is always easy to contact and gives you all of the information you'll need. Jun 27, 2019This is a great spot if you want to see Waikiki. Right opposite the Honolulu Zoo, and 100 metres from the beach. You can walk to all the Waikiki hotspots from here easily. There are also plenty of buses just outside. Waikiki is a busy tourist hub, so be prepared for plenty of crowds.
Jun 27, 2019Kurt's location is perfect. Just literally blocks from Waikiki beach and it's very easy to navigate to. We had a nice view of the beach and Diamond Head. Kurt responded right away to all our questions and very hospitable. Definitely plan to use Kurts place again if I'm in Waikiki.

Kurt's room was exactly how it was described and the view was even better than in the pictures. There is so much to do on the island of Oahu and Kurt definitely has the best place for it! We can not wait to come back and we will for sure be staying at the Waikiki Grand!

Jun 27, 2019If you are looking for more of a low key "commercialized" area this place was fantastic. Amazing views from the room, lots of restaurants and shops outside the WG. Within a 20-minute Drive is Pearl Harbor, Hanauma Bay, Chief's luau, Diamond Head... can't go wrong here! Thanks Kurt!
Jun 27, 2019Kurt's place is just perfect- it's at the quiet end of Waikiki and this does help with traffic if you take the right roads. You'll have a beautiful view of Diamondhead and the pier in the morning as the sun rises! I would definitely recommend!
Jun 27, 2019Kurt's place is GREAT! I would definitely return to his place. I've recommended it already to many family and friends. Sleeps two people great. The location cannot be beat. Dramatic views of Diamond Head and the beach from the two huge glass wall windows. There was also all the amenities of a hotel, with soaps, shampoos, etc. The kitchen was very well stocked with dish wear. Also, the refrigerator is full size. Great job Kurt and assistant.
Jun 27, 2019Location is excellent, at the end of Waikiki near the Zoo. Super short walking distance to beach and views of beach and diamond head fantastic. Also views of the zoo and seeing the flamingos each morning was great. Walking distance to catch the Waikiki trolley in the next block was also good. Location was safe to walk around during the evening, even though there was several homeless people nearby. Several ABC stores nearby but quite expensive, so advise to walk to nearby food pantry for food for the fully equipped kitchen. Didn't use the parking or pool so can't comment on that. Enough room to move in room for 2 people and table & chairs to eat from with fantastic views. The staff in lobby very pleasant and helpful and there is also a tour desk if you want to book anything. Teddys burgers also on lobby level for a quick snack. And a bar on 2nd floor which has happy hour and daily dinner specials. The laundry room also great for washing and drying, 6 quarters for washing and 5 for drying. Having a bathroom with a tub also a bonus after many hours of walking/hiking. Bonus was being able to check in early and keyless entry also good. Air conditioner worked fine in cooling room and being able to open windows for breezes was good. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Oh and mustn't forget free wifi!
Jun 27, 2019Kurt's apartment was perfect, just what we wanted and exactly as described in the listing - if not better. Kurt was helpful and friendly with responses from when we first enquired about the apartment, right up to when we checked out. They arranged a personal welcome board for us, and even left an Australian-themed Christmas present for us. The apartment was spotlessly clean, a good size for a studio for 2 people and equipped with everything for a self-catered holiday, but also close to bars and restaurants when you want to get out. The view over Diamond Head is amazing, particularly at sunrise and sunset, and you can also look down to Waikiki beach and check out the surf before your short (100-150 m) walk down to hit the waves! We also enjoyed the nice community feel of the building with some events for Christmas in the lobby, the friendly staff at the front desk and a really enjoyable vibe to the place. Although there is a bar on the second floor, we didn't hear any noise at all at night. We really loved our time at Kurt's place, recommend it highly and can't wait to come back when we can. In a town of many anonymous highrises, this small building (10 floors) was a fantastic find.
Jun 27, 2019This condo is great if you are wanting to stay in Waikiki! It's right off the beach on the eighth floor and has an amazing view of both the ocean and diamond head! It was very clean, modernly updated, and had a full kitchen refrigerator and nice size bathroom. It was very bright and comfortable. The other tenants were very kind and accommodating. We even had a parking space in the building which was great for coming and going as we needed and pleased. Kurt was incredibly accommodating! He was in constant communication with us even when the media last year attempted to stress some individuals fraudulent transactions on Airbnb. Kurt got back to us right away and reassured us. He also provided us with additional information and recommendations for things to do locally and places to eat. I'd highly recommend Kurt and any of his properties. We could've asked for anything more!

Jul 27, 2019Located on the edge of built-up Waikiki, which I appreciated. Helped to have a great view of Diamond Head & the beach instead of looking at a bunch of high rises. Not in the center of all the hotels & stores & restaurants, but on the edge of all that area. The on-line listing is accurate & photos are very representative of the unit. The host Kurt is the best, available and responsive if you have questions but very respectful of your privacy.

This airbnb is located at the end of the Waikiki strip, so it is quiet, yet close to anything you need. An easy walk to the entire Waikiki strip. I can't think of a more beautiful and perfect place to stay!

Jun 27, 2019This is by far the best Airbnb we have ever reaerved. The place was exactly as described and the check-in was very easy. The place was very centric and a few steps from a beautiful beach. The views are amazing and the natural light fills the room in the morning. The 10th floor has an amazing view. We will definitely come back to Oahu and book this place. Aloha and Mahalo!

The requested tasks of doing our own dishes & taking trash out upon departure are only common sense. I also appreciated the availability to rent a parking space for just a portion of our residence time. Thank you Kurt, I will keep your listings in mind next time I come to Waikiki!

Jun 27, 2019Vår underbare värd Kurt gav mig och min dotter ett fantastiskt välkomnande till denna fina lägenhet med det bästa läget! Den är precis som bilderna visar och utsikten är lika härlig. Underbart med stranden på andra sidan vägen, och trevligt att sitta och titta på flamingosarna på zoot. :-) Läget är även toppen om man har bil; man kommer snabbt ut på motorvägen och vidare åt alla väderstreck, och vi fick bästa tänkbara hjälp av värden med parkering. Lägenheten var precis lagom för oss två. Köket var mycket bra utrustat och badrummet var rent och fräscht. Mycket bra garderob som rymmer både kläder och resväskor. Bra Wi-FI. Tyst och lugnt, vi sov jättegott. Kurt var en toppen-värd som alltid fanns tillgänglig med fantastisk service. Tillsammans med Irene hjälpte han oss att maxa vår upplevelse i detta underbara Paradis!
Jun 27, 2019Our honeymoon was flawless thanks to Kurt and our stay at his space at the Waikiki Grand. The entire studio was completely spotless and sand-free upon our arrival, and the views were breathtaking. We did tons of excursions throughout our stay in Oahu, but even during some days when we stayed closer to Waikiki spending time in our room, we thoroughly enjoyed the simultaneous views of Diamondhead and the ocean. We even saw some adorable pink flamingos at the zoo across the street. If we had any questions, Kurt responded and took care of us. We also accidentally left some souvenirs, and Kurt sent them immediately to us. These kind of hosts are diamonds in the rough- and we cannot wait to stay here again!!! Mahalo Kurt!!!
Jun 27, 2019Staying on this side of Waikiki was incredible. Views of diamond head and the beach were unobstructed because the building faces the zoo. And there were far fewer crowds and less traffic since the main shopping was a few blocks away (perfect if you ask me). Easy walking toward or away from the busy areas with lots of restaurant options around the corner.

Jun 27, 2019Kurt's place is in a great location - just a couple of blocks away from the beach. The place is small even for two people for a long weekend. I expected the apartment to be a bit larger considering the description which included two beds and pull-out couch, but it was a tight fit for a party of 2. Kurt was also picky out the clean-up of the place (he complained about sand), but did not easily provide a vacuum to pick up sand in the apartment and requested that I pay an additional $35 clean-up fee.
Jun 27, 2019Kurts apartment is spacious, clean and 50m from Waikiki Beach. Kurt was in constant contact prior to our stay and even arranged an early check in time due to our flight coming in early. We were very pleased with the hospitality and would hesitate staying again next time we are in Waikiki!

Jul 27, 2019Kurt's place is truly the Absolute Best! The location: on the south end of Waikiki - which allows for amazing views of Diamond Head and the beach. The views out of your window are breathtaking! You are also able to escape to the 10th floor sun deck to enjoy the views even more! On a quiet evening, you can hear some of the animals in the zoo just across from your room. It's fantastic! Kurt's communication: 5 star! He kept us informed of check in/check out processes and if we had any questions he was super fast getting back to us. Parking: if you have a rental car, it's totally worth spending the extra for the parking spot. It's easy to get to and a secure location. Things to do: are endless! Even if you don't have a rental car, there are heaps of things to do within walking distance! Look up the free hula show on Waikiki, enjoy the Friday night fireworks, go shopping, enjoy the many restaurants in the area, or just sit/swim/surf at the beach! The room: has a bunch of amenities! Before renting a chair, umbrella, or snorkel gear - take a look at what is available in the room! The kitchen was great for us as we cooked a lot of meals in our room and I loved all the tile and cabinets. Huge TV for relaxing after a long drive around the island, etc... You couldn't get a better place, again, this really is The Absolute Best!
Jun 27, 2019Staying at Kurt's place gives you the best of both worlds. When you look out the windows(they do open) you see the Honolulu Zoo and Diamond Head. If you turn head to the right you will see the ocean. You are located at the start of Waikiki Beach. Kurt provided us with easy to follow directions and easy access whenever we had a question. The amenities were all there, from filtered water, cooler, snorkeling equipment, lawn chairs, cleanliness and much more. Be sure to take advantage of this location to explore the many restaurants lining the beach for entertainment and dining. Even on the beach itself, we had access to performances. Close to Pearl Harbor and the Airport makes this an ideal location.

Jun 27, 2019The Absolute Best is no overstatement. Due to availability, Kurt communicated that I was granted an early check in. The studio took my breath away upon entry! The green colour mixed with the beachy and inspirational art decor set the tone for the stunning open air window view. WOW!!!! It has to be the absolute best view of Diamond Head in Waikiki with the ocean at your fingertips. The sundeck provided a serene spot for videos and photo memories of spectacular sunrises. Set at the quiet end of Waikiki, across from the zoo and park, the studio provides a luxurious blanket of greenery to gaze and daydream at with no concrete obstruction. The location can't be beat, still walkable to enjoy the fun things of Waikiki. I like the option of open air windows to breathe in the aloha and if you prefer quiet time at night windows closed with the air on. My stay was awesome and I highly recommend this "diamond" as your choice stay in Waikiki. Mahalo to Kurt for sharing his beautiful space with the world. Aloha nui, Sharon

Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Kurt's place for eleven nights. We met Irene on arrival who was making up the room for us (we arrived a little early). She gave us some tips on where to eat and we went and had a bite while she finished. The room was perfect for the three of us. Amazing view and location suited us as it was walkable to restaurants and shops but the beach was not as busy. The views of diamond head were beautiful. We enjoyed the fact that we had kitchen facilities so we weren't eating out for three meals a day. We highly recommend this condo and can't wait to stay again.

Jun 27, 2019We were uncertain about booking this property, but upon arrival it took our breath away. The view on the 10th floor is spectacular!!!!! One side is Diamond Head, the other is the beach. You can’t beat that. Period. We had friends who were in another property at Scandia Towers down the block and this was much better. The studio was equipped with everything we needed. The location was phenomenal being one block away from the beach. 5-10 min. walk to some of the best restaurants we’ve experienced. There’s an option for onsite parking spot which we found convenient since street parking was the only other option. There’s an ABC store that’s a 2 minute walk along with equipment rental(mopeds, bikes, etc.). Starbucks is two doors over near a Tucker and Brevy (restaurant that will pack food for you to take to the beach!). Kurt was extremely friendly and easy to work with. He quickly answered our questions and was able to accommodate our needs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Nowadays with all the sketchy listings, it’s definitely good when I find a place that exceeds my expectations and having Kurt as a host was part of it. Mahalo Kurt!

Bus stop for multiple buses less than 5 minutest away. Quiet at night. Bed very comfortable - beats a hotel room hands down. Completely unobstructed view of Diamond Head. We will come again.

Jun 27, 2019We loved the location, being so close to the beach, and all the shopping and activity. Having the beach and the Honolulu Zoo with so many huge, Monkey Pod trees with their rounded canopies, right outside our window was breath-taking. The suite was very well outfitted with all the necessities almost any kitchen would have, so we felt right at home. We were able to settle in quite comfortable right away, especially when we saw the little welcome sign Kurt had drawn with our names on it. The suite itself, the location, and view combined to create a most comfortable, and very happy holiday for us. Thank you Kurt, for hosting us.

We walked the Waikiki Strip our entire stay with no issues. Home was accurately described and had all that was needed for our stay. You won’t find a better place for the rate and location! Jun 27, 2019This is a fantastic place, right next to the beach with amazing views. Very well equipped and located. Kurt is very friendly and hospitable and accommodated our early check in and fixed a parking issue very quickly. We loved the fact that you enter the apartment with a code rather than a key - meaning you can go over to the beach with nothing but a towel and not worry about losing anything. We would definitely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019We spent six nights in paradise at Kurt's condo "The Absolute Best". The name of his condo says it all, it is the absolute best place to say in Waikiki! The views from his condo were unbelievable! You were looking at the beautiful blue ocean when you looked right and Diamond Head when you looked left! It couldn't get any more perfect than that! Being at the end of Waikiki Beach was also a huge bonus as it was much quieter there but you could still easily access the rest of the beach and strip with a simple walk. Kurt's place inside was fantastic! He provided you with all the necessities of home that you needed such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, a Brita for water, all the kitchen utensils you would ever need plus all the beach things you would need such as boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, etc. When we arrived there was a personal welcoming note from Kurt which was a nice touch. Kurt's place is an amazing place for the value! I will definitely be staying there again if I ever go back to Hawaii. Mahalo Kurt!

It’s got gorgeous views of Diamond Head, the zoo (you can even see the flamingos!), and the ocean, and it’s just a short walk from all of the shopping but far enough to avoid the crowds. The beaches are right down the street and there’s a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, an ABC store, and just about anything else you’d need to grab right around the corner. The apartment is in a great building that’s easy to find and everyone who works there was friendly and accommodating. The room itself was perfectly clean upon arrival and it even had a personal welcome that made us smile! It’s the perfect size for two but can accommodate more, and there’s even a shared roof deck on the tenth floor with plenty of seating and more gorgeous views. Kurt and Irene were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and easy to get in touch with. When they describe the place as one of the best spots in town, they’re 100% right! It’s a cute apartment with gorgeous views in the perfect location at an affordable price - you really can’t beat that. Mahalo Kurt - we loved it!
Jun 27, 2019Aloha, Kurt's Airbnb was our first time ever using an Airbnb. What a wonderful experience! Kurt's communication was fast and detailed. The location was outstanding. The Airbnb included all the amenities we could ever desire. It was clean and the view was beautiful. We woke up every morning with an amazing view of Diamond Head and the ocean. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb to all our friends. As a side note, there are several stores close by if you need to purchase food or other items. Since it was such a great value, we were able to extend our trip in Hawaii and do more excursions. Mahalo, Kurt!

This was our first time in Hawaii and Kurt’s place made it a memorable one. The location was perfect! Great walking distance to everything (Waikiki Beach, ABC Store, Starbucks), but also located near the zoo so it was quiet at night. The place also had all the amenities and necessities that we needed. Mahalo for being a gracious host Kurt! We are looking forward to our next trip to Hawaii.

The view is no exaggeration, it is just stunning, you can see both the beach and Diamond Head. Kurt is a wonderful host, great communication and very welcoming. We can’t believe how lucky we were to have found this place, and would defiantly stay again if we can make it back to Honolulu! This is a 5* find in Honolulu and I can’t recommend it enough!
Jun 27, 2019The area is the more quiet part of Waikiki which we preferred. Seeing the Ocean even from the side window is a plus - which you pay for. The sun deck doesn’t add any better views. The room is small, smaller than I have thought but it’s enough as you don’t spend much time in the room. All in all good experience.

Jun 27, 2019My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The view is absolutely stunning! Kurt's description is completely accurate. You see Diamond Head from one window and the ocean and Waikiki Beach from the other. The location is wonderful - on the edge of Waikiki with lots of good restaurants nearby. I recommend Barefoot Beach Cafe and Tikis Grill and Bar for food. Everything about this condo was convenient and easy. Kurt was great and so is the condo! We'll be back someday!

You open your eyes and the view of Waikiki where all the unicorns are born spread in front of you haha. The place had a lot of things I didn't bring and was planning on buying such as lotions, sunscreens, beach towels, snorkeling gears, beach chair, mat, etc. etc. etc. I was so stoked I didn't have to spend extra money on those misc. stuff! Kurt has been wonderful throughout my 3 weeks stay, always responsive, reasonable, accommodating, and all around kind full of Aloha spirit. I will be back.
Jun 27, 2019A fantastic location for our first time visiting Hawaii. Kurt & Irene were extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had and provided everything we could need during our stay. We spent most of the day traveling around the island and the space was a perfect home base to come back to at night with plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities to explore in Waikiki. Breathing taking views and only a block away from the beach. Would overall highly recommend!

Jun 27, 2019Great host, great apartment and Fantastic location. We are a family of 5 (with three young kids) visiting Oahu for 4 days and could not have asked for a better location. The beach is just across the road, restaurants everywhere and the zoo is just next door. Kurt was always very responsive and helpful. Irene took care of all amenities. We had no problem checking in and checking out with instructions clearly laid out. I was expecting the place to be a bit bigger from the photos I saw online but it didn’t really matter given how wonderful our stay was. I liked the personal touch of a hand written welcome board for us in the room upon our arrival :-) I give five stars to Kurt and Irene and will definitely come back and stay with them if I visit Oahu again.
Jun 27, 2019Kurt's place is a lovely home, sparkling clean with all the necessary amenities and some more. Very convenient location, half a block to the beach. The view is incredible, the interior décor beautiful and soothing, especially when coming in everyday from the bustling, crowded but fun Waikiki scenery. Kurt's extra thoughtfulness is reflected in every detail, big and small, and has made our stay a very relaxing and enjoyable one. For example, we found many. many beach necessities - beach flip-flops, beach caps, beach towels, mats, chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie board - plus the necessary maps and bus schedules, activities recommendations and ...a rice cooker (my favorite !). Kurt and Irene have gone the extra miles to accommodate our needs. Greatly appreciated it all ! Staying at Kurt's condo, we have truly found a "Home away from home". We hope to come back sometime. Jun 27, 2019The location of this place couldn’t be any better if you want to be close to the beach but out of the racket. The view from the windows is even better than advertised! We didn’t see our host at all but everything was super convenient. The unit is in great shape and we’d go back in a flash. Best value in Waikiki!
Jun 27, 2019had an amazing stay and location in Waikiki, being only around the corner and short walk from the beach and shops. We loved the view of diamond head as well as ocean view as we ate breakfast. The kitchen is large and well equipped. Amenities were provided and the room was clean and welcoming. Irene was able to get us in early on the day we arrived, she was easily contactable and very helpful! We loved it here and hope to be back again, would happily recommend to our friends and family.
