Awesome place in the rainforest! The hosts were super friendly and we loved playing with the dog. They gave us fresh coconuts for our trip to Volcano National Park which was a new experience for us. All in all a great place to stay!
Jun 27, 2019We had the pleasure of staying with Lana last night and it was soooooo wonderful. The wind rocks you to sleep at night; along with the jungle sounds around you. I enjoyed the outdoor shower and we even made eggs! Great place. Don't hesitate. :)
Jun 27, 2019This is a really cute and roomy cabin. There's plenty of jungle sounds at night which I thought was really cozy. Falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and crickets and waking up to bird sounds was wonderful. But something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise. We also really liked the outdoor shower and the hammock that hung diagonally across the room. That combined with the screen doors made it feel almost like sleeping outdoors, but with all the conveniences of actually being inside. We had ended up in a bit of a pinch since we had made a late reservation closer to Hilo but where the host didn't get back to us in time. However Lana and her husband were able to answer really quickly and were able to meet us and and show us in even though we arrived quite late. So super big thanks for that. The hosts also directed us to an awesome breakfast place in nearby Pahoa which really made our morning. It's also very close to some tide-pools that were really awesome to snorkel in! If you stay here check out the Waiopai tide-pools!
Jun 27, 2019Lana and her family were great. We didn't arrive until a little late because we had hiked to see a fresh lava flow around sunset but they were still available to meet us. The cabin was perfect surrounded by green and with plenty of soothing noise. Sad we couldn't stay a little longer. Highly recommend staying there if your in the area :)
Jun 27, 2019The family an the apartment it was incredible and marvelous, like our home, but more beautiful. The couple and their children they've a good people, and very attended with us. They have a lot of services for the guests. The best Airbnb just now for us.
Jun 27, 2019This jungle bungalow is a magical place. We loved the openness, outdoor shower and bird songs. We saw more stars in the night sky than any other place we have visited. The stripe of the milky way is visible from INSIDE this cabin…incredible! It was a perfect spot for us for a night— we think it would have been too camp-style/minimalist for longer. The kitchen is a camp stove, a mini fridge and there is a single power strip for the cabin. Lana has done an amazing job making this place beautiful and well designed. The beds were comfy, the space is breezy and the yoga mats were so appreciated. These are things to keep in mind: Be sure to arrive well before dark! This neighborhood is off the beaten path and there are no street lights. Upon our arrival we learned that there’s no cell phone reception (Verizon) and the wifi didn’t work for us. Unfortunately, our host had a family emergency and we weren’t able to contact her (without reception or wifi) to ask about wifi, drinking water, lighters, matches or flashlights. Lana also gave us great dinner recommendations and even offered to show us the local lava flows!
Jun 27, 2019Lana and Aaron welcomed us with overflowing Aloha and warmth. Our family of four felt right at home. The open plan cabin had the most exquisite view of the stars at night and falling asleep to singing frogs was magical. Lana and Aaron gave us wonderful tips to best enjoy the area, from best beach coves, the Tin Shack, the Wednesday night local market festival, to ideal lava viewing sights. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
Jun 27, 2019Lana and her husband were great hosts. This place is magically and conveniently located in a beautiful setting. The space is very comfortable! My kids especially loved the loft and hammock. For those who are not accustomed to the coqui frog, however, be warned that they are very noisy. This didn't bother us, but it could bother some. But I'll take natural sound over industrial noise any day. The stars are amazing! We were able to witness shooting stars while lying in bed looking through the window screen. We would definitely like to return again and highly recommend this space to anyone who loves nature.
Jun 27, 2019Aaron immediately greeted us upon arriving and walked is through his and Lana's awesome Kalapana abode. It is really easy to get to the access road for lava viewing from there and just a cool home to stay in! Would definitely recommend to a friend. Thanks guys!
Jun 27, 2019Yes all as was advertised, there was daily contact with the family and neighbors. Good instructions about the place and surrounding area. A little difficult to find upon first arrivalin the dark but in a beautiful star filled sky, because of the community request for minimum light after dark
Jun 27, 2019Lana was awesome!!!! Very easygoing family. She was helpful with pointing out local spots to checkout. Also, her pad is amazing and unique. We loved our stay.
Jun 27, 2019We had a great time and loved this bungalow!
Jun 27, 2019My sisters and I had a lovely overnight stay at Lana's charming ohana. It was the perfect place to stay during our adventure to view the Kalapana lava flow. Lana met us at check in, gave us a tour of the property, and even loaned us a couple of headlamps for our hike in the dark. She gave us great tips on Puna beaches to check out the following morning. We especially loved the warm pools! The space was perfect for our short stay. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor shower was a real treat. Mahalo, Lana for the hospitality!
Jun 27, 2019Lana and Aaron were wonderful hosts! This remote spot could be difficult to find in the dark, but we had no problems with Lana's seamless communication. She even went out of her way to meet us with a flashlight on the street to help guide us into the cabin. This place was perfect and I wish we had time to stay longer!
Jun 27, 2019As we turned into a quaint and established neighborhood and pulled into this driveway, all we could think of was Wow! Aloha and Welcome!! What a fun, charming and sweet place! The cabin is spacious, light, airy and super clean with 3 comfortable beds and a hammock. We were totally impressed, loved how clean it was and how easy everything was. Lana and her husband Aaron and their adorable family are super friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic hosts, they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and even shared some of their amazing garden produce with us. The property is basically one big garden with tons of fruit trees and neat little flora and fauna. We were treated to a neat coconut demonstration and loved playing with the friendly dog. It is not your typical house, the shower and toilet are outside the main room, but private and clean, and just around the door (you don't have to walk far). The water is on a catchment system and fresh drinking water is provided by the hosts. There is a small fridge and a two burner gas camping stove. Simplicity at its finest and it works here, really well. We felt like we were a part of the jungle but safely enclosed from all the pests that come with the jungle, you just walk in and feel transported. We felt safe, comfortable and really enjoyed staying here. The coqui frogs sing all night as the stars dance in the dark night sky (hardly any excess light around here, I believe there is a light ordinance). It was neat watching shooting stars from the 2 loft beds. There were 2 twin lofts, a full bed and a hammock all which were comfortable and clean as well as a couch. Perfect jungle retreat, eco-conscious and worthy of your attention. We will definitely be coming back and staying here next time we have family or friends visiting to see the current lava flow as the location is perfect and just the thought of this sweet place has us wanting to move in next door.
Jun 27, 2019Lana was kind and welcoming. She was very flexible in working with us with the weather (there were 2 hurricanes headed towards Big Island when we booked our trip). The place was breezy and comfortable and had everything we needed for a quick weekend trip from Oahu to see the lava. Lana gave us lots of information about the area and her children brought us fruit from their garden in the mornings. We were even blessed to swim with the local pod of spinner dolphins at the nearby beach she told us about. I would absolutely recommend her place.
Jun 27, 2019Lana and Aaron were lovely hosts. They gave me a lot of space and privacy, yet they were available for anything I needed. The cabin was very comfortable. I loved the hammock in the middle. I would definitely recommend.
Jun 27, 2019Same comments as above. I loved it so much, I booked another couple nights.
Jun 27, 2019Lana was very welcoming and helpful, suggested nearby activities, and even brought us fruit grown on the property in the morning. Beautiful place and perfect spot to experience the East side of Hawaii outside of Hilo.
Jun 27, 2019Lovely place! Lana is very helpful in terms of travel info and you get to taste fresh fruit from her garden!!
Jun 27, 2019Very clean, beautiful space! Lana is a very kind, warm person.
Jun 27, 2019Perfect hosts! They were an incredily nice and welcoming family. The area was quiet and the living space was clean and open! It had everything you would need for an overnight or weeklong stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested.
Jun 27, 2019Great place for a get away! Loved being unplugged for the night :) Recommend writing directions down because there is spotty cell phone service on the way there.
Jun 27, 2019L'endroit est très bien, calme et relaxant. Nous avons beaucoup aimer être proche des gens locaux.
Jun 27, 2019We loved our stay at Lana's place!! She and her family were incredibly welcoming and kind. The cabin is adorable, definitely a jungle retreat! It was so close to Kalapana where we biked out to see the lava and close to the beach park where we took a boat tour to view the lava flowing into the ocean, so if you're looking for lava viewing, this is the area to be! I would definitely come back again.
Jun 27, 2019What a lovely and magical place. It is a beautiful rustic retreat off the beaten track, near the beach and lava flows in a quiet corner of the Big Island. Enjoy!
Jun 27, 2019Lana and Aaron and their family were really nice and easy to talk to, they made me feel very comfortable. I stayed in their guest house for only 1 night by myself and it was such a nice space to be in- clean, comfy and creative, I really enjoyed the way the room was designed. It felt really open but somehow there were a million perspectives you could take; sit in the hammock, on the couch, on the bed, the porch, a stool at the counter, yoga mat on the floor or 1 of 2 little loft beds. They have a binder in the room with info and recommendations for the neighborhood that I found really helpful and a million stars at night. Overall my stay was very peaceful and happy. ALSO: the neighborhood was central to all the good stuff and the kitchen and bathroom/shower were clean and nice.
Jun 27, 2019Lana met us in the middle of the night when we arrived (I don't event know how she knew we were arriving she must be pretty intuitive!) just to make sure we were welcomed and told us all about the cabin. My 11 year old daughter liked it so much she asked my husband to build her a cabin just like it when she was ready to 'leave the house', I thought that was cute! It was a special place, very clean and quiet.
Jun 27, 2019Me and my friends absolutely loved Lana's 'Jungle Retreat'. Very comfortable and cozy cottage. 4 of us fit there perfectly. Host herself was very sweet and accomodating. Offered us some fresh local fruit in the morning. Place itself has everything you need. Wish we could've stayed there longer this time around and already planning to come back :) It is perfect location of you are here to see the lava flow. Lana provided us with some flash lights for a night hike to see the lava since we showed up unprpepeared :P Very nice quiet neighborhood with spectacular views to the ocean.
Jun 27, 2019Thanks so much to Lana for having us at her place. It was lovely meeting her family and getting to know them. The room was very unique with candles and a lamp for light and an ourdoor shower. The toilet is outside but functional and private. She gave us some suggestions for the cantina 10 min drive away which had an amazing veg/vegan stall called Karuna foods and also the lava walking/bike tours near her place. We would suggest the place to travellers with similar interests in nature, adventure, and relaxing off grid.
Jul 27, 2019We had a wonderful time. Lana and her family are lovely people.
Jun 27, 2019I stayed with my boyfriend and both of our mothers, and this was the perfect space to enjoy our 1st night on the island. Lana was sweet and helpful, the property was amazing and the outdoor shower was awesome! Highly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Very secluded very close to volcano viewing trail. An hour from Hilo. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the decor is very spiritual
Jun 27, 2019Aloha! Simple description: It was an awesome, inspiring, nature rustic retreat. It's roughing it with amenities, immersed in jungle nightlife with coqui frogs. It's great for seasoned campers/travelers and those seeking an adventurous "roughing it," jungle kind of experience, i.e., people who want to unplug, get off the grid, and connect with nature. It's secluded, but close to the ocean, nature parks, & volcanic activity. Lana and her family were super nice and community-oriented. They greeted us every morning with fresh coconuts – what a welcome surprise – and offered tropical fruit from her garden. She also lent us snorkeling gear. The space includes a stove, mini fridge, and running non-potable water. It's best to pick up groceries in town before arriving since it's secluded. Before we arrived, she emailed us a list of local attractions and information as well as provided a binder after we arrived. We chose the space because we sought to camp in Hawaii, but since we're from the mainland, we didn't have any camping gear with us. This was the next best thing. We got a unique, outstanding Hawaiian jungle experience we'll never forget. We LOVED staying there and would LOVE to stay there again. We stayed at Lana's because we wanted a few days on the Big Island to see Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. In addition to the park, we went snorkeling with sea turtles at Black Sand Beach, witnessed an active lava volcano (Mauna Loa), swam in geothermal ponds, hiked in lava tube & on a caldera, ate lunch in Lava Tree State Park, and dined at the "southernmost restaurant in the US" with the best macademia nut pie ever. Mahalo, Lana & fam!
Jun 27, 2019This was our second stay with Lana and Aaron. Again, a very special experience and we look forward to more stays with them in the future. Fantastic location and a peaceful place to stay to enjoy this part of the island.
Jun 27, 2019If your coming over to explore the Puna district I would definitely recommend staying a few nights at Lana and Aaron's place. Adorable private cabin with a lovely atmosphere. Super clean, and genuine nice people. Great location to get around to visit the sights of Kalapana and Kapoho. Just left and feeling so relaxed and happy :)
Jun 27, 2019Beautiful and inspiring! Wish we could have stayed longer.
Jun 27, 2019We are a family of three who stayed here for two weeks quite comfortably. It is a cabin experience (ie, rustic, feels open to night noises yet is screened in for protection) basic amenities, (but just ask if there is something you need, also the basicness is what makes this place charming), with private outside bathroom and shower. At night we lit tea lamps, which lana provides. It is situated on their property which they are working into a permaculture and there are a couple of other friendly people who camp on the land who are working the property. Lana and aarron and their two kids are wonderful people and it was so lovely to be around a family that is consience of the land. They are very welcoming relaxed people who are interested in sharing their love of hawaii yet also give you lots of privacy too. If you are arriving at night make sure you have all directions as the first time can be hard to find. There is a very friendly dog who barks at first but after that she doesnt, and cat. Also Lana was really great to email us a list of stores in hilo or pahoa for shopping before you arrive. This area is so interesting, tide pools, night market, lava, clothing optional black sand beach, yummy thai restaurant, rugged coast. It felt like an authentic hawaii experience for anyone who is not interested in resorts or just wants to meet varied and interesting people. Thank you for a great place to stay :) mahalo
Jul 27, 2019Lana's family welcomed us with open arms. They provided great hospitality and tips on where to go and eat. From lending us snorkels to giving us fresh organic coconuts in the morning. You will fall in love with their dog Coco Lunar :)! My friends and I have never felt so connected with nature. Thank you Lana for making letting us stay at your beautiful Airbnb.
Jun 27, 2019The cabin is adorable and very clean and Lana's family is very kind and welcoming. If you have a car, the location is perfect for going to see the lava entry into the ocean, taking a dip in the Ahalanui warm pool, and to go snorkelling at the kapoho tide pools (all activities that I strongly recommend!) Lana's cabin is a peaceful oasis in the forest, not too far from the ocean, and in an area I could only describe as hippy/hipster. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has a car that's looking to discover the south side of the island.
Jun 27, 2019Lana and Aaron as well as their children were great hosts. We enjoyed our stay at this very unique place. We felt like being part of their family. Thank you so much!!
Jun 27, 2019This is a great getaway location! You are close to lava, close to amazing local gems, and you can have some quiet as well. Lana and her family are great for recommendations and also very welcoming. Would very much recommend.
Jun 27, 2019Lana and Aaron are wonderful people, and their farm is a beautiful escape close to the lava flow. Very clean and comfortable, and our hosts were very kind and considerate. Would love to visit again. This place is a perfect getaway for people who enjoy being outdoors and sustainable conscious living.
Jun 27, 2019We were greeted by this very kind and sweet family and their dog Coco Luna and made to feel welcome. Had a great sleep in the very comfortable and immaculate cottage. Got some good information about a bike ride to view lava, unfortunately my husbands bad knee was acting up. A great experience. Thank you Lana & Aaron!
Jun 27, 2019My sister and I stayed at Lana and Aaron's place this past week and are already missing it! The cottage is such an amazing space and makes you feel like a kid again :) Pahoa is my favourite place to stay in Puna - the community is so open and makes you feel super welcome. I highly recommend staying here!
Jun 27, 2019This place was like no other I've been to. Slightly off the beaten path and surrounded by nature. Coming from a big city, it was pretty cool to be surrounded by the sounds of birds, insects and to look up at the sky and see the stars. Lana was a great host with two beautiful children. Both the dog and the cat are very friendly. My only suggestion is to arrive before sunset, at least on the first day. It was a bit of a challenge to find the place in the dark.
Jun 27, 2019The place was great
Jun 27, 2019Lana's cabin was amazing and exactly as described. It feels like such a special place! It is not for you if you prefer air conditioning and proximity to shops and restaurants. But if you would enjoy falling asleep to the sounds of nature in a lovely secluded cabin, give it a try! Lana was helpful and very warm. I would absolutely stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019The cabin is lovely, we especially enjoyed the hammock. You can only hear noises from birds and frogs, all day all night; and be prepared for the partially outdoor/open shower. The location is close to the lovely black sand beach and the hiking trail to see the lava flow to the sea; or you can take the lava boat tour at a nearby beach park. You should not miss Uncle Robert's night market on Wednesday nights; excellent food sold by different vendors. Be sure to check-in the cabin during day time. We checked-in after dinner at night and was very lost in the dark. Otherwise, its a unique & lovely expereience to stay there.
Jun 27, 2019The location was prefect and my favorite area on the big island. Pahoa is magical. While I loved this place, it may not be for eveyeone since it’s a bit exposed to the elements. The hosts were very kind checking on us at night durring an abnormally strong rain storm which was really loud and you felt as if you were in the storm. Our beds were not wet so for me it was an expreinemce I will never forget but may scare others. I had one of the best showers of my life at night on the property with the stars above and the frogs all around. I would recommend a frying pan a long lighter to lite the stove. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here!
Jun 27, 2019The host canceled this reservation the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Jun 27, 2019Great location! Perfect launchpad for exploring Puna area & lava Great local gem-hole-in-the-wall eating spots Highly recommended for couple with 1-2 kids. Will return!
Jun 27, 2019It was very open and spiritual stay at Lana's place. With ants and lizards shared with our room and going outside open air shower in dark was challenging. But we have enjoyed new experience. Very close to Lava walking and warm pool, about one and 1/4 hours drive to Volcano crater and 50 mints drive to Hilo down town. We have only met Aaron at the first day, been told baby was sleeping so we were not sure when and how to contact them after, so we can not say much about Lana and her family. Also, WiFi was not working at all. And someone was mentioning before that better checking in day time. Very hard place to find. If you are looking for very natural, open air, spiritual place with in budget cost. You will enjoy Lana's place
Jun 27, 2019Place is somewhat hard to find especially at night. Close to the end of kalapana/new Kaimu Beach where the night market is on wednesdays. they do have a very nice and well behaved doggie and a cat as well that will come out and play with you. nice change of pace from City Life.
Jun 27, 2019While we had a poor experience due to the prolonged use, by the host's husband, of power tools during our stay, this is probably not typical of a stay here. The spacious independent unit provides privacy, is in good shape, with a useful kitchen area, great outside shower, nice garden surroundings, good location and Lana is a genuinely friendly and helpful host.
Jun 27, 2019Peaceful and calm. It’s away from civilization, but amazing.
Jun 27, 2019Lana's Hale is in the Kalapana Seaview Estates, which is a great neighborhood, and perfect jumping off point for lava hikes, Uncle's, Kehana beach, the Kapoho tide pools, and other great east shore explorations. The space itself is sweet and funky, with a great island vibe. The outdoor shower was nice and warm, and playing with Cocoluna (the friendly house dog) was awesome. While this space may not be for every traveler, for those looking for a more off grid, authentically Puna experience, this was great. Mahalo!
Jun 27, 2019Excellent time in the area. The space was airy and sweet. Highly Recommend ❤️
Jun 27, 2019Wifi wasnt turned on when host said she would turn it on. Fresh fruit from Lana's place was shared with (Website hidden by Airbnb) much we had to return some so it wouldnt go to waste.
Jun 27, 2019A comfy cabin in the sweet, quiet Seaview neighborhood. Aloha vibes all around! Lots of fun stuff to do in the area. If you are not comfortable with the natural world maybe stay in the nearest hotel. We loved falling asleep to the peaceful jungle sounds, showering under the stars and being close to the ocean. Lana and Aaron were great hosts, and we had an awesome time during our month-long stay!
Jun 27, 2019Lana's place captures the essence of the pahoa/puna region with warm hospitality and a great vibe that represents the region to its fullest extent. Please look up pahoa before you travel to this area, its one of the most unique regions of Hawaii and the United States and we are glad to have experienced this corner of Hawaii
Jun 27, 2019Lana and her familly were very welcoming. They were generous and helpfull also toughtfull of every detail. The lodging tough simple was charming and clean whit all basic ameties ( gas stove, shower ). All surrounded by tropical garden. We sampled the best coconut and avocado. We highly recomend this place !
Jun 27, 2019Very clean place and a lot of space!
Jun 27, 2019Lana and family welcomed me with open arms and paws and hearts to their home. Really, what more could you ask for as a guest on the sacred land of Hawaii. Each time I come to Puna, I leave a bit of my heart- and I look forward to sharing space with Lana and the family and the community again.
Jun 27, 2019Quaint open air loft cabin in the rainforest. Great for a rustic stay. Expect amazing and loud night sounds from all the critters and rain.
Jun 27, 2019Wonderful hospitality and a very lovely place. Our kids enjoyed it very much as well. The owners gave us fresh cherries and coffee. Very nice touches.
Jun 27, 2019Lana her brautiful family was so kind an helpful, we really had the Hawaii Jungle experience
Jun 27, 2019Lana's place is a fantastic space to unwind and plug in to life on the Big Island. It's located just a five minute drive (less really) from beautiful Kehena Beach and you're just another seven minutes or so to one of the coolest places in the area - Uncle Robert's. It's an open air kind of marketplace with a fantastic smoothie place, food, a bar, and one night a week it transforms into one of the greatest and chillest parties I've ever experienced with countless food and artisan vendors, a ten or so piece Hawaiian band, full bar, and tons of cool locals. Anyway, the location of Lana's place is great, and only about 25 minutes to Pahoa. The shower is SWEET and hot- and outdoors to boot. Toilet has a bidet which is a nice extra. Lana wasn't there during our stay, so we had the whole property to ourselves. She has a guy help out with anything you may need while she's away and we felt well taken care of. The grounds around the bungalow are landscaped beautifully and you'd have plenty of privacy even if Lana were at home in her house nearby. She responded quickly to all of our communications and helped us add nights to our stay. The space itself is a cool split level with additional sleeping in a little loft and there's a comfy hammock. It's an open air place with screens so as long as you're not expecting a sealed house, you'll do great. We used bug spray to keep mosquitos and no see-um's away and had a fantastic time chilling out here. Everything you need is in the kitchen as well. My girlfriend and I were super stoked to stay here, thanks again, Lana!
Jun 27, 2019This is a great place for nature lovers. You are staying in a jungle-like garden and you can learn everything about all the plants from Lana. We got fresh coconuts, bananas and passionsfruits - it was like paradise. It’s close to different lava fields on which you can hike and marvel about this special part of Big Island. The place is remote, basic and comfy - the hammock in the hut ist great! Lana and her family are lovely, open hearted people, who had been very helpful in every way. We enjoyed our time at Lana‘s very much and send lots of love to Lana, Aaron, kids and cat :-)
Jun 27, 2019We had a very warm welcome with Lana and her Family. Our kids had a funny time with the kids of them, they played very well together. Additionally we received some attentions like dry banana slides, coconut and some herbs and a walk through the garden - they are so friendly - it was so nice to stay there - thank you Lana
Jun 27, 2019It was such a blast staying in this WUNDERFUL! place. It was magical, clean and we simply had a very good time there! Lana and Aaron are great and kind people, who are sharing a piece of heaven with others with a true aloha spirit. One of the best accomodations I had so for on all of my bookings with air bnb. as you may have read: recommended.
Jun 27, 2019Aaron, Lana, and family are such warm, welcoming, and accommodating hosts. Cocoluna and Tangelo were a delight to meet and spend a little time with as well. Aaron and Lana were so kind to show us around their farm and answer my many questions about their way of life. What a real treat to experience hand-made chocolate, kimchi and teas, and the fresh-picked/prepared treats from their farm that their beaming children brought to us each day. There were breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu options that guests have the option to peruse and pre-order from for reasonable prices. We had stocked up on a few groceries before we arrived so unfortunately for us, (because it all looked so good!), we didn't order anything :(. Sleeping in the 'jungle' with the night birds and little frogs singing through the night was something I hope to never forget and reminded me of home. You won't really get to know this unique heart of Hawai'i without experiencing a stay here with Aaron, Lana, and their family.
Jun 27, 2019Don’t know what to say other than Lana’s place was the most chill place out of the five places we stayed in Hawaii. The location is great; close to the ocean, very quiet and you can really see the stars. Lana makes excellent food and they grow lots of tasty fruits. Would definitely recommend if you’re staying on the big island.
Jun 27, 2019A delightful getaway with an incredible view of the stars! Lana and her husband were so hospitable, offering tips on local events and scenery. Thanks for a great stay!
Jun 27, 2019Lana and her family are very friendly and great hosts. We felt us very welcome. It was a new experience for us to live, because the toilet and shower was outside. But we liked it. We had everything what we needed. And such a great time. I can only recommend this accommodation. This is a place where you feel free and connected with the nature. Thank you for this beautiful time.
Jun 27, 2019Excellent hospitality and very cute, convenient, clean lodging in an off grid paradise! Lana and her family are very down to earth and so welcoming. She makes amazing, healthy treats and totally embodies the aloha spirit. The place includes a lot of friendly botanical / natural touches and the space feels very safe. I’d stay at her place again in a heartbeat & would recommend it to anyone interested in similar lodging / location. Thanks for everything!
