Feel right at home here away from home! New York is fast and busy all the time, so after running around all day sightseeing or working you need to come to a nice and calm place to relax. The apartment is a 2 bedroom wooden floor with large living room and open kitchen. The room available is spacious with build-in closet and it is located in the back of the apt so it is nice and quiet. There is a crib/toddler bed in the 2nd room as well as a sofa bed. There is one bathroom with tub. The apt is clean and there is a dishwasher and a washer/dryer to make it even easier for you! ;-) The apartment is located in the heart of Harlem, walking distance to 2,3,C,A,D and B metro stations (5-7 mins) and the neighborhood has lots of different restaurants and bars for you enjoy. Neighborhood Overview
The apartment is walking distance from the legendary Apollo Theater, noted venue for African-American performance and key on the carriers of amazing artists such as, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix, The Jackson 5, Lauryn Hill, Ne-Yo really to name a few! Studio Harlem Museum, which offers free entrance to Harlem's history and contemporary art, the Shrine World Music Venue, just across the street, were you can hear live music, and of course all stores at the historic 125th Street. You can also walk to St. Nicholas Park were you can find the Hamilton Grange National Memorial and checkout the beautiful Neo-Gothic architecture of City College's campus. Additionally you can find groceries around the block and also you can walk to the newly open Whole Foods in 125th.

I've had the best time in Nyc, thanks to great hosts. Clement was very nice to talk to and I defently felt like home. I could've not wish for a better place to stay. Transport was very easy, by taking the train, just one-two blocks away from the house. This was my first time using Air Bnb, and i couldn`t have made a better choice, by staying at this place with the best hosts. I will defently like to stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019Clement's apartment is a very nice place in a good location in Harlem. Though we didn't have the pleasure of meeting him as he was abroad, my girlfriend and I were warmly greeted by Clement's girlfriend. She provided clean sheets and towels and offered bread, jams, and eggs for us to make ourselves breakfast. She also went out of her way to provide an iron and ironing board for me, as I had a job interview the next day. The building was secure, and we were given keys to come and go as we pleased. Our trip was very short, but I would definitely recommend it to an individual or couple who's looking to stay in Manhattan at a really reasonable price. Thanks, Clement!
Jun 27, 2019It a a good deal. The apartment is clean and functional. For the same price in new york, u have to literally camp with some other people in the room. Therefore I can nothing but recommend the host. The location is not really central. But u can make ur way very easy.
Jul 27, 2019We didn't actually get to meet Clement as he was on a tour, but his girlfriend Natalia was very helpful. The place was clean and well kept and we immediately felt at home! The bedroom was small, but the apartment was very open and welcoming so we never felt cramped. It was also very close to the city, only a half hour by subway for me to get into work! There is a club downstairs that you can hear at night from the living room, but we didn't have any issues from the bedroom and slept very well. The area was friendly, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something affordable in Manhattan and within easy commute to downtown!
Jun 27, 2019EXCELLENT place to stay !!!!! Clement and Natalia are the most wonderful couple I had the pleasure to meet. Both helped us a lot (me and my girlfriend) within my stay at NYC, indeed all the time I felt very comfortably. The apartment is nice, cozy and warm!, The room is excellent!, and the WIFI connection too, bathroom excellent, everything indeed very nice. Also great location, very close to the subway. We had clean sheets and towels. The building was secure, and we were given keys to come and go as we pleased. I would definitely recommend this place to stay!, no doubt at all ! Jun 27, 2019This was our first experience with airbnb and it was a very pleasant one. Clement and Natalia were fantastic hosts: warm, friendly, courteous and discreet. They were also glad to help us with a personal favor that we had to ask them! The apartmnet was clean and cozy and for us it had the feel of a real home, just like the description. It is located on a very central spot in Harlem with a convenient bus stop right in front of the building and two subway stations almost two blocks away each. There are several inexpensive restaurants within walking distance so you won't get hungry, plus grocery stores and pharmacies. For those of you who are not familiar with Harlem, the neighborhood may look a bit shady at first but it is safe and at the end we enjoyed the fact that we felt the pulse of a very special community.
Jun 27, 2019It was the best place where we have never been. Clement and Natalia are the best hosters in the world. We feel like being at home and they were like our family there. They are great persons and the best place to be in New York. The house is exactly like in the pictures and very clean. There are many cheap restaurants near, supemarkets and the subway, of course. Harlem is a beautiful and safety neighbourgood, well, all neighbourhood are good there but I think that Harlem is the best for me, maybe because Clement and Natalia accepted us like one friends more. We have felt like we had already known us before. It's a very good choice to go to this house, of course. We recommend you!
Jun 27, 2019I had a great time staying at Natalia and Clement’s apartment. Clement had to go away on the first day but I managed to see him before he had to go to the airport, which was nice. Natalia looked after me well and even lent me a Metrocard to get me started. I had lots on my to-do list so I didn’t get to see Natalia too much unless it was first thing in the morning or late at night! We did manage to catch up for dinner which was nice. Subway was easy to get to from the apartment. I didn’t ever feel unsafe in Harlem. Would definitely stay there again if I was back in New York. Thanks guys!
Jun 27, 2019We had a really good time. We didn't meet Clement but Natalia was very nice and helpful. The apartment is clean and comfortable. We used the kitchen in the morning which helps saving money. The Subway is only two blocks away.
Jun 27, 2019Natalia is a very nice and positive person! When my husband and I met her, I felt as if we've known each other for a long time!))) We didn't see her often but she accepted us like an old friends!) The apartment has a good location - several subway stations is near it and it's only 30 min to Midtown and 15 min to Central Park and most museums!!! There was everything what is necessary in our room - comfortable bad and enough space for stuff. Great thanks for Natalia! We're glad that met her and choose her apt as our place in NY! Olga & Alexey
Jun 27, 2019Very nice place with everything provided what was needed. We stayed for 6 days and at that time Clement was traveling so we only met Natalia. Loved that we had a table in the room. Fresh Towels, clean sheets etc were provided and we could make our own meals in the kitchen which of course helps saving some money in NYC. Subway stations are very close so that was pretty convenient. Everything worked out great and Natalia is a aweseome host. I would definitely recommend staying with her.

El apartamento es acogedor y cuenta con todo lo necesario para los huéspedes, salíamos temprano y llegábamos tarde. Natalia & Clément son excelentes anfitriones, muy amables y colaboradores. Jun 27, 2019You couldn't wish for more welcoming and lovely hosts than Clement and Natalia! Staying with them gave me a perfect home from which to explore NYC. I loved the community vibe in Harlem - it's a vibrant and colourful neighbourhood and the subway stations are close by, so it's easy to get anywhere. The room is simple and clean and the flat comfortable, with everything provided. I highly recommend Clement and Natalia as hosts - thanks heaps!

Jun 27, 2019Nos encantó quedarnos en la casa de Clement y Natalia, llegamos el primer día bastante tarde en la noche y nos estaban esperando. Sentimos realmente que era nuestra casa, teníamos nuestra propia habitación con una cama cómoda, sábanas y toallas. Si bien el aparatamento está un poco lejos del downtown (15 min en subway) nos manejamos perfectamente con las líneas de metro que están a 3 cuadras y pasan a todo momento. Además hay dos restaurantes muy ricos a una cudra y lugares cerca para comprar comida y desayuno. Un placer!
Jun 27, 2019This was our first Airbnb experience, and we will be booking again. Clement and Natalia were welcoming, kind & laid back hosts. Harlem is a buzzing area, everyone we met were helpful & friendly. People are always out, so even at night you won't feel alone. There is a community feel in Harlem: everyone talks on the buses & holds bbqs & chess/dominos matches on the street. Central Park is only a 25 minute walk from the apartment, there's also 1 bus on Adam C Powell Jr Blvd that took us all the way to the south side of the park, along 5th Ave. We got to see so much more of the city & NYC life than if we had stayed in a central hotel. The apartment itself is as pictured. Natalia & Clement made sure we had bathroom & fridge space. We had easy access to grocery stores & laundromats in the area which were 24hr. We would recommend Sylvia's soul food restaurant, which was 2 blocks down, very yummy. We have loved our stay in NYC & wish we had more time!

It was a very comfortable and homely place to come back to after our long days in the city. Really the only disadvantage was that Natalia was so busy she didn't have time/forgot to buy toilet paper, haha apart from that everything was super. Would love to host you and Clement some other time if you make it back to Amsterdam :)
Jun 27, 2019natalia y clement nos trataron maravillosamente bien y realmente nos hicieron sentir en casa, ayudandonos en lo que necesitaramos, compartiendo desayunos o cenas y charlas cuando podiamos y abriendonos totalmente su casa. en el anuncio habria que agregar que hay dos pisos por escalera. y el barrio, si bien es un poco lejos del centro, el metro esta a dos cuadras y funciona muy bien las 24 horas y en 15 min estas en times square. nuestra vacacion fue muy buena, y la pasamos muy bien.

Jun 27, 2019Deze kamer is een absolute aanrader. Clement en Natalia zijn erg leuke en gezellige mensen en heel gastvrij (echte gezelligheidsdieren). Wij hebben ook echt het gevoel gekregen dat ze het leuk vinden dat je bij hen verblijft. Helaas hebben we ze (door ons drukke programma) niet heel vaak gezien, maar de keren dat we elkaar zagen, was het hartstikke gezellig! De kamer is verder netjes onderhouden en schoon. Het appartement ligt een levendige buurt en je bent in no time in Lower Manhattan. Wij hebben er een topvakantie gehad!
Jun 27, 2019Natalia est une personne très agréable, souriante qui nous a très bien accueilli. Elle a su répondre à toute nos questions à su nous mettre à l'aise pour notre première expérience rbnb. Elle n'est pas du tout envahissante mais sait se rendre disponible et nous rendre service. Le quartier de harlem est vraiment atypique est très proche du centre ville en métro. Environ 15 min en métro. Il y a aussi des églises ou l'on peut voir des gospels à 100m à pied. Ce fut une superbe expérience que nous conseillons à tout le monde. Ps: grand merci à natalia à qui on souhaite une bonne continuation.

Appartement comme décrit, très bien et rien à dire au niveau rapport qualité prix! Expérience que nous renouvellerons avec grand plaisir.

Jun 27, 2019The stay at Clement's and Natalia's home was really great! Especially the location is quite good as different metro stations, supermarkets, the Apollo theater are near by. The flat was cosy, clean and well equipped and we felt very welcome to use the kitchen and the living room. Clement and Natalia also seemed interested in our stay and our well being. So we received good advices or helpful recommendations. I would definitely stay there again when I would get the possibility!

Ils nous ont fait partagé avec beaucoup de plaisir et de simplicité leur appartement et leur vie à New-York. Ce logement est très bien situé à proximité des métro. Harlem est vraiment un quartier à decouvrir! Grâce à eux nous avons passé des vacances inoubliables et nous avons qu'une envie : y retourner!! Jun 27, 2019We found the apartment as advertised. The room was nice and clean. The only slight downside is the creaking sound the wooden floorboards make whenever someone walks in the corridor. Other than that the place is cozy and relaxed. Natalia is a wonderful host. Very friendly and always with a smile. The closest subway station is two and half block away. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at her place and will recommend to anyone who needs a space to stay while visiting NYC.
Jun 27, 2019We stayed at Clement & Natalia's house for 9 days in June. Unfortunately, they weren't there but they had organized the check-in perfectly and a friend of them let us in. The apartment is perfectly located, not far from the subway & it's really easy to get downtown. The neighborhood also felt really secure, even at night. The apartment & the room we stayed in was really clean, so was the bathroom. We would stay there again without any hesitation! Laurine & Korneel.

Clement and Natalia have been traveling for the entire period and I was alone, the room is cozy and very quiet, although is situated in the heart of the Harlem. During summer, people are very active there and I've found a lovely and colored atmosphere typical of some African and Caribbean countries. Nearby it's easy to find tasty Dominican food for competitive prices. Subway located at 5 min walking distance from the apartment.

Jun 27, 2019Very easygoing couple that went far beyond our expectations - their hospitality was great, as was their eagerness to assist and find answers to all sorts of strange questions. The flat and the room is correctly described, our main concern (close to complaint) was that Natalia and Clement has no sense for business, they charge way below market value. The area is really nice, a New York neighborhood. Not a New York tourist area. Lovely, when you are a tourist...
Jun 27, 2019Natalia and Clement are an incredibly nice and very courteous couple. They are always there for you and do their best to make you feel really at home. This they succeed very well! Harlem is a very nice and interesting district. There is always something going on and is never boring. The space to Natalia and Clement offer is small but nice. Bathroom and kitchen are shared, the two are very welcoming and it was always very fun and interesting to talk to them. The whole apartment is very clean and tidy. We would not hesitate to come back.

Ellos son el tipo de personas que quieres encontrarte en el camino ya siempre te recibían con una sonrisa y estaban al pendiente de cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. La casa muy acogedora, en verdad te sientes como en casa. El barrio seguro sin importar la hora y con metro unas cuantas cuadras. Hay restaurantes,farmacias y tiendas cruzando la calle. En verdad es una ubicación envidiable. Al llegar ellos tenían todo listo; información, folletos y mapas. Sin dudarlo es una de las mejores opciones para quedarte en NY, sobre todo en Manhattan. Seguro regresamos con ellos.
Jun 27, 2019Bonjour, ce fut une excellente première expérience à New York et sur AirBnb, Clément n'était malheureusement pas la, mais Natalia à été une hôte exceptionnel, elle nous a attendu alors que nous somme arrivé tard dans la nuit, à été de bon conseil pour des endroits a visiter, et à été très accueillante et discrète. L'appartement est sympathique et très bien situé, proche des stations de métro, commerce, et restaurant. Natalia est une hôte formidable, avec une grande joie de vivre. Nous nous sommes senti comme chez nous durant ce séjour, Merci encore Natalia. Clément et toi êtes les bienvenue en France.
Jun 27, 2019Natalia was host to my girlfriend and me during our short trip to NYC. The apartment is very spacious and very well furnished so we immediately felt comfortable. We stayed in a seperate room which had a pretty soft bed and some room for storage as well as a desk. The spartment is within 5-10 min walking distance to the next subway station and a supermarket as well as several restaurants are close by. Overall it was a pleasure meeting Natalia because she made it easy to feel at home away from home :)
Jun 27, 2019Natalia made us feel very welcome. We arrived very late due to our flight being delayed and she stayed up for us and was very generous in offering me a sandwich and some tea. On arrival she showed us where everything was and gave us our keys and clean towels. She even left a whole shelf in the refrigerator and an empty basket in the bathroom so we had adequate space to put our stuff. The apartment was as described. The bedroom was small but adequate for our stay seeing that we were out most of the time. The bed slept very well and the window offered lovely cool air. The room has a closet and a chest of drawers so you will have some space to store your stuff and a full length mirror which was lovely. We also appreciated having wifi available to us. The neighborhood seemed a bit dodgy when we first got there but we had absolutely no problems. We went out as early as 4:30 in the morning and came back home as 11:45 at night and no one bothered us at all. We took the subway all of the time we were there and the walk to the station was only a few minutes away. We often did short walks to 125th street which has a few stores and restaurants. I would recommend taking the M2 on Lenox between 132nd and 133rd to the upper west side. The drive there is really nice. And you can get out around Columbus Circle and explore the area. So lovely... Overall we had a lovely stay. Natalia was so nice and welcoming. Always with a smile on her face. Clement was away with work. but we hope to see him next time we are in New York.

Jul 27, 2019Clement & Natalia nos acogieron de la mejor manera en su casa! Nos quedamos con ellos durante año nuevo por 6 noches y totalmente nos volveríamos a quedar con ellos. La casa es muy acogedora y la habitación es muy cómoda. Tiene un closet, un escritorio, una cajonera y la cama y el siempre bienvenido espejo. En cuanto al barrio es residencial, lo que se agradece cuando uno pasa gran parte del día en lugares turísticos, queda muy cerca de dos estaciones de metro 24hrs y es muy fácil moverse por el barrio. Tiene restaurantes muy ricos, supermercados, farmacias, lo que uno necesite! Totalmente recomiendo a Clement & Natalia, ellos son muy cálidos y como ellos mismo lo dicen, te hacen sentir en casa fuera de casa! Muchas gracias por todo, hicieron nuestros últimos días de Luna de Miel, los mejores!
Jun 27, 2019Esta fue nuestra primera experiencia con AirBnB y fue satisfactoria. Muchas gracias a esta bonita pareja!! Clement y Natalia son personas cálidas, respetuosas y muy serviciales. Nos sentimos acogidos y tranquilos con ellos. El alojamiento fue bueno, la habitación limpia y tranquila, la cama nos resultó muy cómoda y realmente logramos descansar muy bien! El barrio es tranquilo con buena oferta de comida, Laundry y transporte. La estación del metro esta a unas pocas cuadras. Y estar en Harlem facilita mucho la experiencia de participar en una misa Gospel! Hay varias iglesias a muy pocas cuadras, una de las más apetecidas esta a 3 cuadras. El edificio tiene sus años y hay que subir 2 niveles de escalas para subir al piso 3 (lo habíamos leído en otros reviews) pero realmente nos resultó irrelevante. Les dejamos un plan detallado por días para conocer NewYork, Natalia lo tiene y lo mejoró con sus comentarios! Esperamos que lo puedan compartir y que les sea de utilidad para vivir la expedición Manhatan!!
Jun 27, 2019I just came back home from a week in NYC and it's really been a pleasure so Natalia and Clement have been nice and kind. I've been welcomed as a guest much than a customer, they immediatly made it sweet and easy to me to set up, without being embarassing or anything, they are just naturelly gentle. Jun 27, 2019Era nuestra primera vez con Airbnb y ha sido genial. Natalia y Clement son hospitalarios, muy simpáticos, y siempre dispuestos a ayudar y a resolver nuestras dudas. La habitación era amplia y la cama bastante cómoda, muy importante cuando estás todo el día dando vueltas por la ciudad. Con ellos todo son facilidades, lo cual ha hecho nuestra estancia muy agradable. :-)
Jun 27, 2019Natalia and Clement are amongst the most welcoming hosts I've ever experienced – they gave us tips about current events going on in the city and were always up for some good talks! Apart from that, the apartment is very cozy, clean and we could do everything in the communal space from cooking in the kitchen to relaxing in the living room. Also, the apartment is conveniently located as there are two subway stops nearby, with a several lines heading to Downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn and The Bronx. But we also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood to explore some of the nice cafés, bars and cultural venues in Harlem. Thank you very much for having us, we're looking forward to coming back some time!
Jun 27, 2019El barrio era perfecto para mi primer estadía en NYC, me sentí muy cómodo con todos los servicios que disponía y no le faltaba nada. El departamento era tal cual la descripción y fotografías. Muy acogedor, limpio y ordenado. Clement & Natalia son excelentes y de verdad que me hicieron sentir muy cómodo y a gusto. No tengo más que palabras de agradecimiento para los 2. Mejor lugar no podría haber elegido. Lo recomiendo totalmente.
Jun 27, 2019I had an amazing stay with Clement and Natalia ! I felt at home ... The apartment is very spacious and very well furnished so I immediately felt comfortable. They are very nice. It was a real pleasure to meet them. I had a really good time in their appartment and I appreciated that I could discuss with them about my NYC experience. We had many interests in common. I consider Harlem and their appartment as home. I love Harlem. You can walk around and discover a lof of shops, restaurants, coffees. I had a real good time and I strongly recommand the place.
Jun 27, 2019It was a pleasure staying at Clement's & Natalia's home. They are both very nice and helpfull persons and made me feel home in New York. I can recommend their place to everyone! It's clean and very close to the subway station. There is pretty much everything one needs very close to the appartment: restaurants, shops, transportation etc.
Jun 27, 2019Clement & Natalia were the perfect hoste! Natalia gave us some advice and help us for everything. We stay 1 week to visit NYC. The place is great and very closed from the subway, restaurants and supermarkets. The room were we slept was very quiet. It's very clean. A good place to stay in NYC!
Jun 27, 2019Con mi hermana nos hospedamos en lo de Natalia y Clement, y la verdad es que nos sentimos muy cómodas. El departamento es tal cual se ve en la fotos, la habitación estuvo bien para dos personas, y la cama super cómoda. A pocas cuadras hay subte, varias líneas, lo que hace a la zona del departamento muy accesible, con diversos negocios abiertos hasta tarde para hacerse de provisiones. En cuanto a la seguridad, estuvimos muy tranquilas, y siempre nos movimos con confianza por el barrio. Natalia estuvo muy atenta a nuestras necesidades y a mantener fluía la comunicción. Nos brindo siempre la mejor atención, simpatía y amabilidad. Sin dudas, recomendamos este alojamiento!
Jun 27, 2019Todo muy agradable, la habitación muy acogedora y organizada. La cocina siempre limpia y con todos los implementos necesarios. Natalia una gran anfitriona, muy amable y nos ayudó mucho.
Jun 27, 2019Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Natalia. Quelques jours plus tard, Clement est arrivé et a également été très sympathique. L'appartement est agréable à vivre et le quartier est vivant. Notre séjour à NYC restera inoubliable !
Jun 27, 2019Todo muy bien, el departamento es muy cómodo, las fotos reflejan muy bien el lugar. Esta ubicado cerca de 2 lineas de subte lo que lo hace muy cómodo. El barrio es tranquilo. Tanto Clement como Natalia contestan todas las inquietudes y están pendientes de cualquier cosa que se necesite. Muy lindo lugar.
Jun 27, 2019Un lugar acogedor, realmente como estar en casa. Departamento bien ubicado, con estaciones de metro muy cerca, supermercados y tiendas. Totalmente recomendable.
