The location is good, it close to the main shopping streets. Jane is also nice, she makes her effort to make us feel like at home.
Jun 27, 2019Jane was an amazing host. Everything was easy and effortless. The condo is in a great location. More importantly, the kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed to prepare several meals in home, which is nice on the wallet compared to eating out every meal in Wikes.

Jun 27, 2019We were disappointed with our experience as it wasn't as listed. The listing said it was a 2bedropm apartment but it's actually 2 hotel rooms in what looks like a 3* hotel with an adjoining door with one of the rooms larger than the other. The larger room had a kitchenette. There is no separate living area and no laundry facilities in the room (there is a coin operated laundry on level 5). The apartment is clean and the beds are very comfortable.but the furniture and decor feels dated. The location is ok but it's a good 10-15 min from Waikiki.
Jun 27, 2019Jane shared the true spirit of aloha with all of us - even extending a personal invitation for BBQ and tennis. The condo was exactly as described and Jane even went the extra mile to drop off a fan to help us cool down and added some wiggle room to our check out time. The view was amazing and my travel mates took time to enjoy the pool and hot tub. I definitely recommend Jane and her condo to other travelers.
Jun 27, 2019My friends and enjoyed our stay in Jane's condo. Her pictures and descriptions are spot on. The interior was clean, including both bathrooms and a kitchenette. The beds were very comfortable. AC window units were more than enough to cool the units down during the day and especially at night. Wifi provided was faster than I expected, I got 40 Mbps down even over a VPN. We especially appreciated the towels and travel sized soap and shampoo left in the bathrooms. We did not need to use the kitchenette but did use some of the trash bags left as well as the paper towels. The fridge was useful. The unit is a couple of blocks away from the convention center and close to the rest of Waikiki. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and would gladly stay again.

Jun 27, 2019非常好的位置,距离希尔顿酒店走路5分钟,每天没事就泡在沙滩上｡希尔顿有潜水艇,luao演出,值得推荐｡另外离购物中心也很近,公交车2站,愿意散步,大约是30分钟内｡ 最好的是附近有一家中餐厅,非常棒,时间充裕就去那边吃龙虾大餐,龙虾是中餐厅招牌菜,便宜好吃｡楼下的小店,则是我们来不及吃饭时的最佳选择,麻婆豆腐很正宗｡ 附近的7-11,ABC超市可以满足全部的日常需求｡ 这次没有见到房东,在信箱拿到钥匙就顺利入住｡房间打扫的很干净,楼内的洗衣房非常方便｡Jane提供了非常周到的提示信息,让一切入住都很方便｡

Jun 27, 2019Only my wife and daughter met Jane in the laundry room. I never met her but I was the main communicator with her. She was very quick to respond to any texts, which was the best form of communication. Unfortunately she did not deliver on our 2 concerns. The shower head in the main bedroom only gave a straight pipe flow, which made it very uncomfortable to shower and was reported after our first night. A new shower head was required and it was never replace in our 8 nights there. The air conditioner in the main bedroom failed on the second night and was reported. We asked that it be looked into. It was never fixed but she did provide a fan. Again we were disappointed.
Jun 27, 2019Beautiful experience!! Lovely location, clean unit and a wonderful host! Jane did everything possible to make us feel very much at home. From providing us with a cheaper parking option to buying a brand new pack n play for our infant, she accommodated each of our requests. She would be prompt to answer all our questions and was available at every hour to respond to our calls. She fixed the broken head shower in one of the units bathroom same day as we arrived. The condo is conveniently located at hop, skip, jump distance from local stores and the beach. We walked up to the beach twice in a weeks time. Also lucky to watch the Honolulu festival parade and the fireworks.
Jun 27, 2019Jane was good with her communication via email prior to my arrival. Upon arrival, the communication was very poor. I was confused with, 1. Retrieving the condo key from the confusing lockbox versus mailbox and 2. The parking situation. I called Jane and she was unfriendly and screaming on the phone that she had already sent me directions and to follow the directions. Since I was offered 2 parking options. One to park in the hotel garage, which is much more convenient, for 25.00 cash per day, or park with her garage for 12.00 per day which was offsite. Although I was on a budget and been flying all day, I chose to park at the hotel parking garage which charged 25.00 cash only per day. The other garage was offsite and not convenient at all. I told Jane while I had her on the phone, I didn't like how this was all set up and let her know that we had started off on the wrong foot. I didn't speak to her the rest of my visit, only spoke to her by text as she requested. I like the view of the place. It was nice. With no window screens, this could be dangerous or huge liability for a family travelling with kids and wanting to open the window 38 floors up. I would say the place was not very clean upon arrival. Sand in my floor room along with hair in the bathroom. The second bedroom, B unit, should have a television. Also, having cable would be a good addition instead of Roku TV only. The wi-fi worked well in the room.

Jun 27, 2019Overall, our stay here was decent. We did come across a few things but Jane was easy to communicate with. I rented this place with our friends and this is what we thought: Pros: Location is a bit further than the main touristy areas of Waikiki but it was still within walking distance. The view from the room is PHENOMENAL. The beds were comfortable. The amenities are great and the coffee shop and breakfast place downstairs are delicious. Renting a parking space instead of having to pay the hotel parking fee. Jane was really easy to communicate with and she helped whenever possible. Having 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Cons: The air conditioner was leaking in the 2nd bedroom so it was nice and cool in one room but toasty in the other. Jane came by to fix it but unfortunately not until a few days before the end of our stay. The bathrooms were dirty and there were some dirty dishes in the sink when we arrived. We used some cleaning supplies available but felt like we shouldn't have had to do that. Like I said, the stay overall was decent.

Jun 27, 2019This was my first trip to Honolulu and getting to Jane's place was a breeze! It's right smack in Waikiki, an easy drive from the airport. The apartment was wonderfully clean when we arrived and everything was working! Thank god! After a 22 hour flight, it was so important that our stay was clean and functional and Jane hit the spot! There is a 7/11 and some small food shops (the foods are delicious by the way) on the ground floor which made it so convenient for us to grab food and supplies when we needed to. Some of my family members made use of the gym as well which made this stay so much more worth it. The beds were comfortable and the view is just amazing! Most especially at night when we turned out all the lights and just left the curtains open. The city lights were our night light. As for Jane, she was pleasant and easy to get in touch with whenever I needed help. No problems with communication and overall a wonderful hostess. If anyone is thinking of looking for a place to stay, Jane's place is it! Thank you Jane!

Perhaps the only thing missing may have been an armchair of some kind but that was a minor detail. Could sleep 7 if you had a few people. Amazing view. Thanks Jane
Jun 27, 2019This is our first family trip to Oahu. Jane is very nice and responsive. Every question/request we asked she replied in couple minutes. Not just replied, she also gave us multiple recommendations which really helpful. The condo location is great, rooms were nice and clean. AC works great which very important to our little baby. Jun 27, 2019Access to the unit involved key-cards, collected per the host's instructions, then notifying Security of our stay. After initial access,we then had some issues around key cards not working and Security needing more info from the host, before re-coding them, which became tedious. We found the rooms to be clean and tidy, with a few cooking utensils and washing-up gear. items for cleaning dishes, etc. The available plates and cutlery did not fully cater for our party of 6, which meant taking turns with any meals we ate in the rooms. The NW view faces a beautiful hotel about 75m away and overlooks the canal on the right, with the ocean visible to the left. The windows can be opened wide to allow better viewing or rapid airing of the rooms, but keep an eye on your young ones. Traffic noise is generally OK, although emergency services frequent the nearby access streets for Waikiki. Sirens are not so noticeable with the windows shut, so air-conditioning was appreciated in both rooms for sleeping. There was also a tower fan unit, which worked well. Bedding was adequate and comfortable, including a top bunk over a double, which is suited to the small and nimble (and someone who doesn't move around much in their sleep). The wi-fi internet access worked well. Lift access is efficient. We used the pool a couple times and found it clean enough. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Jun 27, 2019We were quite happy with the 2 separate units.They had fantastics views and comfortable beds.It was great having more than 1 bathroom, especially with 2 teenagers.The wifi and TV( with Netflix) in the room with the multiple beds, worked out perfectly for our family. Quiet time for the Adults in the master bedroom(King bed room) and, didn't have to worry about the kids being bored in the evenings.We were in a perfect location to walk to all the great stores and beaches. We also went for a run in the morning and the canal was a great place to do this.The front desk and security were helpful for any enquiries we had as well.I found the 38th floor was absolutely perfect to see the city and all the great lights at night. Thank goodness there was air conditioning.We would love to stay at Janes condo again someday.
Jun 27, 2019Vor unserer Ankunft konnte ich mich mit Jane austauschen, sie hat immer rechtzeitig zurückgeschriiben und ihre Informationen waren alle einwandfrei. Auch bei der Ankunft haben sich alle Anwesenden (security/help desk) um uns gekümmert. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Appartement war sehr sauber unddie Aussicht traumhaft, wie aus einem 5- Sternen Hotel. Einfach top von Anfang bis zum Schluss.

Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Jane's Condo was over all good but we did have pros and cons. she kindly let us check in early and check out a little late which accommodated to us with our baby and small/young children & we appreciated that. It is clean & tidy, beds are comfy & has most of what you need when in an apartment stay, nice to have a full size fridge, toaster & microwave work well. could possibly do with a few more plates, bowls, glasses, teatowels, better Hair dryer, etc: but good there is boogy boards, beach mats, snorkel gear to use. also requested more towels which was sent the next day.thank you. We had a few issues with the key card which we had to sort out ourselves (more than once)through the security (who were really unfriendly).the kitchen waste disposal blocked up & a small water leakage problem under sink, we didn't hear back straight away & wasn't sure what to do, in the end i fixed it myself, so saved her getting a maintenance person in. prior to our stay we had arranged to book in the alternative car park for dates i had given her in advanced & was told highly likely & at $12night so was happy with that but the day we got our car she said she wasn't able to reserve the space and ended up having no choice to but to park in the apartment building at $25night it crushed our budget big time and was very disappointed. The Location was perfect walking distance to Ala Moana (15-17mins found a short cut along Ala wai canel,lovely shaded walk) & 10mins down to Waikiki beach. eating places,shops,market stalls all around. didn't need to catch a bus at all. The Pool is lovely & the spa is nice at night. the air-con, fan & Wi-fi was a bonus. we never meet Jane which is a shame as it would have been nice too. before our stay she would some times respond straight away other times it would take a few days.when we arrived she would usually respond right away via txt or airbnb msg. If your looking for affordable & DIY accommodation then look no further this would suit you well. would stay here again if there are just as many of us as it fit us well (7 +baby) & within our budget, however hoping things could be inproved in those areas which lacked as we were on our family holiday & it took time away from us. Jun 27, 2019Jane was excellent with answering all our questions. I was booking 2 units for 11 family members and there was a lot to organise . She was very patient. the apartments were great. Excellent location and had a paid laundry facility. Only issue was there were only 2 key cards available and you had to pay $20US for extra keys. Which we needed. Close to alamona shopping but you needed a car to get yo grocery shop which was fine for us because we had one. Jane was very helpful with getting car parking cheaper for us.
Jun 27, 2019Aloha PROS: The stay for 10 days was comfortable. Jane responded very quickly to a couple queries that we had and resolved the issues immediately. The condor was available to us earlier than the check-in time. Location is very good with the required bus stops for the tourist being close and convenient. Easy walk to the main drag and shopping centers. Lots of eating places close by. Try the Chinese place across the canal. Local pub on the lower level. Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. Good, quick meals were available on the ground floor. Deck chairs, ball, mat and boogie boards available in the condor to take to the beach. Good, quick laundry. Clean pool area. CONS: Condor caters for 4, but the cutlery and crockery was inadequate: 1 saucer, 2 plates, 2 bowls, no glasses for wine and water. An electric kettle would make life easier. Overall: Good. Found it clean however not really suited for a family of 6...when arrived there was not enough cutlery, plates or glasses for 6...but rang Jane and she organised to buy and drop off a new dinner set and glasses. Jane is very accomodating and easy to deal with. The condo is in a good spot close to beaches and Ala Moana
Jun 27, 2019Nice location for being near Waikiki, but still a good walk to the beach if you have kids. The place didn't come with soap or shampoo, which wasn't very convenient, and it didn't have a tea kettle. Not the cleanest place I've stayed, and seemed pricey for the quality, but that might be the going rate for Waikiki. It was nice that Jane offered a cheaper parking option.

Jun 27, 2019Place was as described, clean, suited our every need and most importantly Jane was a fantastic host! She was prompt, responsive and provided great suggestions on things to see and do. The small touches such as snorkel gear for two, and masks for four, as well as beach mats and chairs made it extra special. The place was perfect for four adults traveling as a group, and having two bathrooms made it even better. Overall, great value and location. Tips - check out King's Pub downstairs for a friendly bar with some great locals and visitors alike. Buy a blow up mattress and inflate it at any ABC store for a relaxing way to spend a day at the beach. Last tip, if you're an adult, hire a moped and go exploring! Jane's accommodation is a perfect base for the best of Waikiki offerings.
Jun 27, 2019The Good: 1) Location: It is only about 4 blocks or a 15 min walk away from the main Waikiki beach. Not super close yet not bad. Location itself is not a deal breaker. Kitchen: You do have a small stove and sinks to cook, knifes, cups, plates and a fridge. Also there is beach mats in the closet for you to use. Parking: Parking is expensive in Waikiki ($25-30) a day so Jane did offer parking off site for a bargain of $12 a day. Jane was great with communication too. We didn't meet her at all as she gave us instructions on how to arrive and open the lockbox ourselves to get the keys an check in. We basically checked in and out ourselves by leaving the location keys back in the loop lockbox after we left. She also let us check in earlier which was nice too. The Bad: It's a VERY old apartment. Definitely NOT in a "newly remodeled" state. Not even close! Quite the contrary! Worst of all although: It's dirty and UNSANITARY :-( The whole apartment is in bad shape. Bed linens and comforters all seemed unwashed and had stains. They also smelled VERY funky. We were grossed out and were afraid of sleeping in them. Also all of the bathroom towels smelled so DIRTY and HUMID! They had obviously not been previously washed for us to use. We didn't bring our own towels so using dirty towels was so gross. We had to suck it up. This had never happened to us before and we have stayed in many Airbnb's over the years. The bathroom was full of mold and old; tiles were squishy and even falling apart ( one fell off to the back wall) The shower seems to have bad water damage. The old rusty shower hose even came off at one point and I had to screw it back on. It was soooo rusty and hard that it made it very hard to pull to turn the shower water on. The shower curtain was also soooo old and moldy. Chunks o "goo" and old plastic particles were coming off from it as we showered. Yuck yuck! We also didn't need to use the stove kitchen but we were so glad that we didn't have to because the cups and tea kettle smelled bad and the stove was greasy and was not properly cleaned. Only the fridge was clean inside. The apartment is also a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. One is an actual bedroom with a sink and a bathroom and the other larger room is actually the kitchen and living room that other covered into "a room" by just adding 2 extra beds right in the kitchen and calling it a bedroom. So between the " newly renovated " listing description and the actual room setting, it was a bit deceiving this listing. Also the elevator takes forever but that was the least of our dislikes with this...
Jun 27, 2019Jane is a lovely host, but we had a couple unfortunate events while staying at the apartment. The door lock broke down, and so our key cards stopped working and we had to spend a sweaty hour hanging out in the hall and going back and forth to the security desk to sort it out - not the end of the world, but certainly annoying. Also, we were told we could have cheaper parking next door which came together too late and we ended up paying the very expensive full rate - again, not the end of the world, just annoying. The apartment is very central and walking distance to a few great places to eat, but is super small - really just a place to sleep. If that's all you need, then, great. But if you are travelling with kids and need a place to hang out during the day, it is too cramped for that.

Jun 27, 2019Rooms not big enough for 6 people. Not enough wardrobe space. Both rooms need a good clean and mop especially the bathrooms, showers were all greasy - shower curtain was mouldy. No ventilation. The stove in the kitchen was disgusting - kettle was dangerous. Overall cleanliness was bad Need to supply complimentry welcome pack e.g. just basic things. washers are not in the room and have to pay with credit card

Jun 27, 2019We loved staying at Jane's place it is in a fabulous location, the apartment was very clean and perfect for us 4 adults and one child. We loved the pool and got to use the gym, loved the closeness to the beach, shops and shopping centre. We would stay here again. It is such great value for money and Jane is a great host she got back to us straight away with any questions we had and let us have a late check out which we really appreciated. Jun 27, 2019Jane was extremely helpful from the very beginning right through to the end of my trip. I had the pleasure of staying on level 38 with such an awesome view. Location wise it is central to all the local shops and the busy part of the Waikiki Strip. It is walking distance to all shops and even the Ala Moana Centre and Walmart. If your looking for a place that isn't busy with tourist and still close to the shops this is the perfect place for you. Pools and gym access was a bonus for the kids and I. Jun 27, 2019Jane place is simple, beautiful and the view was gorgeous. She was very helpful to work with me to let me check in early which was wonderful of her. The place was spotless and she had beach supplies available for use. I didn't end up using the hotel pool, but I will have a chance to try next time. Thank you Jane :)
Jun 27, 2019Not a bad place for a couple of couples on a budget or a small family on a budget. I was only there with a couple friends for one night and I know the islands well. The location is good for getting around, close to the center of things in Waikiki. Staff seemed nice and unit was clean.

Being in such a wonderfully located part of Waikiki and in centre of all the activities, the accommodation allowed us easy access to all the nearby places. Will definitely recommend this place to friends.
Jun 27, 2019This place couldn't have been more perfect for a four-day stay with two teenaged boys and a friend. The condo is near the Ala Wai canal on the edge of Wakiki, but It's a reasonable 15-min walk to beach/shopping/eating at Ala Moana in one direction or Wakiki beachfront and shopping/eating on the other. The bus to Diamond Head and Hanauma Bay stops nearby. There's a Seven-Eleven next door. The condo is not fancy, but works well for families. The master suite has its own bath and provides some privacy; the kitchen, dining table, bunk beds and double bed are all in one room, but that wasn't a problem with teenagers who slept like the dead while I was in the kitchen --and they had a separate bath. The pool was a great amenity and got a lot of use from the boys. The closet was full of beach gear, including multiple sets of snorkeling equipment. Check in/our was a snap and Jane was very prompt with her replies. Highly recommended.

Jun 27, 2019This place is a great location, walking distance to everything in Waikiki, close to Hawaiian Village and Wailana Coffee House (24X7). 22 mins. walk to the Waikiki Trolley office in the DFS T Galleria, really recommend the 5 day ticket on this service. Ala Moana Mall is around a 30 min walk. The condo is well supplied with everything you need, clean and air conditioning works really well. We were 3 adults so had both rooms, plenty of room for us all to have a bed each. 7/11 is close by and there is a bar downstairs. Hope to get the chance to visit again.

Jun 27, 2019家族5人で使わせて頂きました｡ﾚﾝﾀｶｰがあったので階下の駐車場を1日25で借りられます｡ ｾｷｭﾘﾃｨｰのためｴﾚﾍﾞｰﾀｰやﾌﾟｰﾙ､ﾗﾝﾄﾞﾘｰも全てｶｰﾄﾞで開けるので慣れるまで少し戸惑いました｡ Janeはﾒｰﾙのﾚｽﾎﾟﾝｽが良いので助かりました｡ 38Fのﾎﾉﾙﾙの夜景はとても素敵でした｡ また泊まりたいですね｡

Jun 27, 2019Jane is an awesome host. She provided very detailed instructions for check in and the place was just as expected. The location was about a 10 min walk to the shopping strip and beach. There are several convenient stores and cafe just downstairs of this complex.

Jun 27, 2019Good things: Jane's apartment is very well located and Jane is a very helpful host. Bad things. The apartment had not been cleaned well. The blinds do not close completely and there is no blackout. The air conditioner is poorly positioned as it is on the bed disturbing those who sleep there. There was no organization in the closets. We were disappointed with our stay. Jane has to improve the aspects I described above so that the next travelers can have a decent stay.

Jun 27, 2019This condo with two separate studios was excellent for me and my two teenage kids. The location is very convenient to Waikiki Beach, Ala Moana mall, and many casual dining options. The condo is clean, quiet, well equipped (even with snorkelling gear and boogie boards), has a good sized pool and a gym, and awesome views. I definitely recommend it, particularly for families wanting the versatility that the two separate spaces provides.

Jun 27, 2019If you need a place to stay in Waikiki for good value, I recommend Jane’s place. It was perfect for our group of 6 and we would probably try to stay here again if we found ourselves back on Oahu. Close to the beach and there’s a 7-eleven next door. It’s not a 5-Star resort that you’d spend most of your vacation in, but once you accept that and get over it, you’ll enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Jun 27, 2019Jane's place is located above the Hawaiian Monarch hotel. It's in a great location. Although the building is older-style the studios are more than adequate for 2 couples or a family, and way cheaper than staying at a Waikiki hotel. The pool/spa on level 5 is very nice. It's about a 7-minute walk to the beach and a 20-minute walk to Ala Moana shopping centre. Around the corner at 478 Ena St is a great cheap Vietnamese restaurant with delicious food; we ate there 3 times. For a goumet breakfast try Cream Pot in the hotel foyer.

Jun 27, 2019Jane's place was very convenient, but it is dated. Cons: The hallway leading to the apartment had a strong odor, which cleared out of the apartment itself after we opened the windows for a few hours. The corridors in the apartment are a little cramped, so be aware if you have accessibility issues. The bathrooms are pretty lived in, with rust stains in the sink and tub. The AC units are also a bit noisy, so I had to turn one off to sleep. The unit that is the kitchen needs more light around the dining table/bunk beds. Pros: Super conveniently located to convenience stores, the beach near the Hilton Village (which I preferred to the "main" Waikiki beach), restaurants. The condo has two full bathrooms that are stocked with necessities. The kitchen is also stocked with utensils and appliances. All in all, if I had read the description more carefully, I would have noticed this condo is actually located in the Hawaiian Monarch hotel and wouldn't have booked it. It's conveniently located and the host has stocked it with everything a family would need, but the unit is older than I would have liked.
