Neighborhood Overview
It is THE center of little italy, giving it a real New York City feel. It is very touristy, while also showing a unique side of New York with the Italian guys out front coaxing you to come inside to eat. As busy and bustling as it is during the day, it is EXTREMELY QUIET at night when I need to sleep. Little Italy is not a place for bars or night (Website hidden by Airbnb) is all about the restaurants. I also like that we are close to a bunch of public transportation options, good eating other than Italian, and shopping in SoHo.

Rules
Smoke outside, keep yourself and the space relatively clean and don't make a problem with our wonderful neighbors! Garbage should be taken out regularly please. There is a garbage "chute" right outside the apartment door. Recyclables should be taken to the basement level and sorted into paper vs. plastic bins. Let me know as soon as you arrive if you find a problem with anything. Be flexible if I need to have repairs done if something has broken or needs fixed. I would try to schedule time while you were gone seeing the sites of NYC so we don't interrupt your relaxing time at the apartment.

One of the best places we've stayed in! Fantastic location! Right in the center of Little Italy and Chinatown! That means lots of restaurants around! Soho and Greenwich are also not far. There's a subway a couple blocks away. Also walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge. Rob's apartment was new, clean, very comfy and spacious. Rob was very nice and helped us settled in when we arrived. He was responsive and always contactable if we need anything. He provided the essentials in the kitchen which was great. We would stay there again if we ever come back to NYC and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Jul 27, 2019We met Robert in Person, he was really nice and everything was very uncomplicated! The apartement is perfect, best location, clean and it has everything you need. Unfortunately due to sandy we had no Internet nor TV, but there are lots of WiFi places around!! Thank you so much! We will defentily come back!!
Jun 27, 2019Fabulous location, great apartment and lovely, accommodating host. My mother and I stayed here for 5 nights in November. I used the pull out bed in the living room (as good as a double bed) and my mother used the bedroom. It was as good as a 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen and bathroom were great and had everything we needed and Robert even bought a iron and a hair dryer before we came (after I asked if he had them!)
Jun 27, 2019"Center of it all" says is perfectly! We had a great time in NY using this place as our base. It's literally within walking distance of many of the city's attractions. Clean, comfortable and safe. Thanks Rob for being a great host, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area!
Jun 27, 2019My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Robert's place - it's very central, walking distance to SoHo and only a couple of mins walk to the subway. Robert was really helpful - we didn't arrive until midnight, and that wasn't a problem for Robert to meet us then to let us in, and we were also able to have a late check-out when we left as our flight wasn't until the evening. The flat was the perfect size - so much better than being cramped in an over-priced teeny-tiny hotel room, especially as we were in New York for a week, and everything was in perfect condition and clean for our arrival. We'd definately recommend staying here and would do so again ourselves when back in New York.
Jun 27, 201930somethings girls trip to the big city :) This was my first time to use airbnb and I was a bit nervous about how this was all suppose to work... But this apartment was perfect!! We had a last minute reservation which Robert was so nice about and I'm so happy we were able to stay in this location. Clean and well appointed, the apartment is a great size (for NYC) and I was surprised at how big it felt, the bed is super comfy and the pullout couch was very nice as well. The location couldn't have been any better for us, since we mostly roamed around in every direction without a real plan, we were literally in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go! Robert was great with opening the lines of communication and was there to greet us and show is where everything was located. Our departure was just as friendly and even though he had warned us that he would need the apartment right at checkout he was very nice about us being a few minutes late (bars close at 4am... Not good if you need to be up and out at 11!) The street is beautiful to look at from the (tiny but perfect) balcony and the restaurant that's below is really really good (get the meatballs!!) overall it was an awesome first experience with airbnb and I will highly recommend this apartment and Robert to everyone who is willing to listen!

Jun 27, 2019Stayed here for 3 and half weeks for work. Apartment is clean, spacious, and in an awesome location. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and juice bars within a short walking distance (2-3 minutes). It is also only a 10 minute walk from Broadway, which is the main shopping street that extends from Little Italy all the way up to Central Park. There is also a Whole Foods about 15 minutes away. Getting a cab from JKF airport is straightforward and there is a set tariff of $52 (plus tip usually 20%). Most of the cabs accept credit cards. There are few a few places to visit on Mulberry Street alone before you even walk across to Lafayette Street or Broadway. Tobys' bar and Pizza place has a great atmosphere (and pizza) or Spring Lounge (which is aways busy even on a Sunday). The nearest subway is off Spring Street about 5 minutes walk and that will take you all the way up to main shops on 5th and 6th Avenue. Lombardi's was the first pizza place in the US and is about 5-10 minutes walk. You can eat in or get takeaway and by far the best pizza I had in New York. If you want the healthy option there is a falafel and smoothie bar on Mulberry street, which is also great too. One of my favourite places was the Fat Radish - visited it about 5 times in 3 weeks. It's about 15 minute walk or just jump in a cab but you will need to book a table if you want to eat in the restaurant. They do have a bar area where you can just turn up and wait. After you have finished head across the road to the Lead Belly - this is a bar owned by the same people. Great place to spend an evening. If you head up to Spring street and then turn left you will join Lafayette Street where you will find many more places to eat, drink and shop. If you are a coffee fan then head to Lafayette Street and walk past G-star and 2-3 shops down will be a little coffe shop called La Colombe, which is apparently one of the best in New York. I don't like to coffee so difficult for me to comment but it was highly recommended. If you want to see any NBA or NFL whilst in NYC then use (Website hidden by Airbnb) to purchase your tickets. There are always games on and you will find great last minute deals on there.

Jun 27, 2019We had high expectations after all the positive reviews from former guests but the flat, the street and the area was even better than expected. We will recommend Rob's nice and clean flat to friends who are visiting New York and we would certainly like to come back. Also Rob was very helpful. Two suggestions to future guests - try the restaurant in the same building - we had two nice meals there and visit the bar in the basement two houses away - the Mulberry project. Reallly nice and good drinks. There is no sign in front of it, go down the stairs and your are there!
Jun 27, 2019A lovely apartment in Little Italy! It is walking distance to many restaurants and shops and very close to two Subway Stations with great connections to the rest of New York. Robert was also very helpful and welcoming. Would stay again if my partner and I find ourselves back in New York.

Jun 27, 2019We stayed with 3 persons in the Little Italy apartment. Everything was perfect, spacious, clean, very modern and equipped with everything you need. Robert was very friendly, getting in contact with him during the stay real easy and communication was fast. The location was top notch for us, watching the street life from the balcony in the evening was great fun (no worries, the restaurants close around 10.30), the nights were amazingly quiet for NYC. I can only recommend this place and would definitely book it again. THX Robert!
Jun 27, 2019This is a neat apartment in a fantastic location. We really enjoyed our trip to NYC and staying in a nice apartment in Little Italy was a major reason we had such a good time. Great restaurants and kind people all around. Easy walk to the subway that took us to all the major tourist sites and more. I feel like I got a great apartment for the price of a hotel and in a better location than most hotels. It was spacious and much quieter than I expected. I would definitely recommend this apartment and I won't hesitate to stay there again myself.

Jun 27, 2019We had a great stay at Robert's place. It's in a very convenient location - only a quick stroll to several subway stations. Although it's a fairly busy area, the apartment doesn't get a whole lot of street noise which was good. The place was very clean on arrival. Had everything we needed (except toilet paper...). There's also a grocery store up the street which is handy. Overall, I'd have no hesitation in recommending his place for a comfortable and affordable stay in such an exciting city! Thanks Robert!

His apartment has every comfort: it is air conditioned which is important for the summer months, kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. It is located on the 4th floor with a lift in the Little Italy neighborhood nearby subway stations. We warmly recommend it. Pour notre première location à New-York, nous avons été très satisfaits de notre choix en choisissant celle de Robert. En effet, cet appartement présente tout le confort : il est climatisé ce qui a son importance pour les mois d'été, cuisine et salle de bains très bien équipées. il est situé au 4ème étage avec ascenseur dans le quartier de Little Italy à proximitié des stations de métro qui vous conduisent au coeur de Manhattan. Jun 27, 2019This place is fantastic! Spacious (especially for NYC) and clean, and in an awesome location. Little Italy is literally at your feet, with Soho, Noho, Nolita, LES, East & West Villages ALL within walking distance there is nowhere else I'd rather stay in the city. Good sized bathroom, comfortable bed, ample heating/cooling, a balcony overlooking Little Italy, & an elevator in the building so you don't need to drag your bags up multiple flights of stairs after a long day! There's also a state-of-the-art kitchen if you ever decide you want to stay in for the night (we didn't!) Rob is a fabulous host. Everything was clearly set out for us and he was quick to respond to any queries. On our final day our flight wasn't until the evening & we struggled to decide what to do with all our luggage after checkout. Not a problem for Rob! He allowed us to keep the keys to the apartment for the entire day until we needed to leave for our flight. An absolute legend. If you really want to experience the city like a local, this is how to do it. Forget the hotels & the tourist traps. This is the way to do it!!
Jun 27, 2019Both myself and my partner REALLY enjoyed staying here for 5 nights. The location is great, plenty of restaurants downstairs and a short walk to the subway. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the apartment (full size kitchen too) for the price and being in nyc. With all the shopping we did we really did need space! I would definitely stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019Great location and with main train lines close by. Checking in and out was real smooth, no problems. The appartment is nice with a fully equipped kitchen, stayed there with a friend so one of us took the bedroom and the other one slept on the sofa bed which was just fine. The only thing I think needs improving are the curtains, you can´t really block out the sun in the morning, no big problem though. And maybe a lamp by the bed and one by the sofa if you like to read in bed. Over all it was a great stay and Robert seemed like a really nice and reliable guy.
Jun 27, 2019Stayed in Robert's apartment in September 2013. The location is perfect. I was there right in the middle of the San Gennaro Festival so Mulberry St was pretty crazy but it was fun. There was a small problem when we got to the apartment initially but we called Robert and he sorted the problem out that night. I had a late flight from JFK and as no one was checking in the day i was leaving he was quite happy to let me stay as late as i needed. Overall I would definitely stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019I had the pleasure of staying for 10 nights here recently and I loved it. Right in the heart of Little Italy and just a short stroll from the Canal Street subway station, I could not have asked for a better location. You really have most of lower Manhattan within walking distance from the apartment. Shop 'till you drop in SOHO or if you like a good walk like me, head uptown to 5th. avenue which took me under an hour. Leave plenty of room in your suitcase! The night that I arrived a street festival was in full swing and I will never forget the sweet aroma from the wood fired pizza ovens coming up from the street. The restaurants on Mulberry street are great and literally right at your door! The apartment is very comfortable with a modern kitchen and bathroom, good security and WiFi. The balcony offers great views of Mulberry street and there is always something going on down below, especially on weekends. I love New York and if I am lucky enough to get back there one day, hopefully I will be able to stay here again. Cheers, Ben Prior. Melbourne, Australia.
Jun 27, 2019We arrived pretty late on a monday evening (around 9 pm). But that was no problem for Robert, and we got access to the apartment easy and smooth with no problem. The location could not have been better! Little Italy itself is a great place for good food and a nice atmosphere. Also there is so much to see and do around there. China town, Soho, not far to walk to Brooklyn bridge, battery park etc. Tube stations really close aswell if you want to go uptown for instance. And it really gets quiet after 10 - 11 pm, since its a resturant street. Nice if you like us want an early night, to get up early in the morning. The apartment itself was bigger then we expected. Nice bathroom, and a comfortable bed in the bedroom. Kitchen had all we needed and we have nothing bad to say about Robert or the apartment. It was great, and we are very happy we choose Robert as our host for our honeymoon. The apartment really helped make our week perfect! We will most likley come back next time we are going to New york! (unless we REALLY REALLY wanna live closer to someplace else). Another big plus was the elevator after a full day of walking and coming to the apartment with stuff we had bought. And when we were leaving we were leaving pretty late, but Robert helped us out so we could solve everything with luggage and such. Stand up guy, and a pleasure to deal with! Jun 27, 2019Our stay in Robert's apartment this week was wonderful. Throughout the reservation request to the time of check out, Robert was always easy to get in contact with, and was very helpful. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Although the street is busy during the day, evenings and early mornings were quite quiet. Easy access to the subway also made it an ideal location. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again the next time we are in New York.
Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Robert's place for 8 days over last week, and I generally have been happy about the whole experience. The apartment is nice and sunny, and it is very conveniently located. We also enjoyed the little balcony, especially on the many sunny days we had while in NYC. Robert has been also timely and helpful throughout. There are a couple of things that need to be fixed/provided. One of the stools for example was broken the moment we arrived and prevented the three of us to all sit together over breakfast. Placemats were not available, and few bulbs were missing both in the living room and in the bedroom. Lastly, on a positive note, we would like to suggest including mention to the hairdryer in the list of house equipments, as it may be useful for people to know it is there. Thanks Robert

Jun 27, 2019This appartment was fully in line with our requirements : comfortable, spacefull, clean, ideally situated for restaurants, shopping, subway, etc. and very quiet during the night. May be just one small issue (but I guess that's the pb anywhere in NYC) : you may hear garbage trucks working in the night. We did not see Robert directly, but there was no problem to contact him if needed. The day we left, Robert also agreed to extend our stay in the afternoon because our flight was late in the evening and there was no other guest coming this day (thank you again :-). In a few word : I recommend you this appartment, you will like it a lot!
Jun 27, 2019Location, location, location! This place could not be more perfectly situated. Mulberry Street neighborhood is so charming and several subway lines are located within a short walk. The apartment is spacious enough, was super clean and the kitchen rocks. Pullout couch and bed were very comfortable, and the elevator was a nice luxury. We did encounter a couple of things that needed attention-- one stool was broken, so only two stools were available and the vertical blinds in the living room are in bad shape. If you didn't need to sleep in the living room, you could leave them open and it would be fine but we had to open and close them and it was a hassle. Everything else was great!
Jun 27, 2019Our stay in Robert’s place was really nice and comfortable. The location is just perfect and the house had all what we need: a good bed, hitting working perfect and the shower was great! Although the first day we arrived we had a bad experience with the bed sheets, Robert immediately fixed it and surprised us with beautiful flowers and some snacks. We will definitely recommend Robert’s place.

L'appartement était très bien situé pour mes besoins, les rénovations sont récentes, l'endroit tranquille. Seul inconvénient: il faisait très froid à New York à cette période et j'ai trouvé le système de chauffage plutôt bruyant et surtout pas très confortable: très sec, trop chaud ou pas assez... Mais enfin, j'ai fini par m'accommoder en chauffant uniquement le salon et en laissant la porte de chambre ouverte. Pas un énorme problème, mais quand même... Cela dit, j'en retiens une expérience surtout positive, merci beaucoup!

A funky neighbourhood, easy walking distance to subway stations, closeby restaurants, reliable wifi, a well equipped kitchen, a working tv and a comfy bed. The space was cosy and quiet after the restaurants closed down.
Jun 27, 2019L appartement de robert est vraiment charmant , joli et tres bien situé.. nous y avons passé un très bon sejour à New york.. nous y sommes resté presque une semaine à 3,2 adultes et un enfant de 10 ans, le lit et le canapé sont très confortables, la cuisine est tres bien équipée . Robert est tres disponble en cas de soucis et fort sympatique.. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir si nouveausejour à New york il y a !!!
Jun 27, 2019Rob's place was a clean and quiet oasis in the middle of Little Italy. It's a super convenient location for those who, like me, prefer the vibe of downtown Manhattan. The apartment was surprisingly quiet for how busy the area is. Rob is also a great host - he went out of his way to help us figure out how to get packages delivered to his place while we were there. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Not my usual NYC area choice, but I'd stay there again after this experience. Spacious - way better than a hotel and would recommend this apartment to others!

Jun 27, 2019Absolutely loved staying at Rob's place in Little Italy! Fantastic location (girls - this location is IDEAL if you're a shopper - literally 5 min walk from all the best shopping without the craziness of Times Square). Rob was very helpful & thorough with communication, quick to respond, was a great help even for the non-essentials (i.e: questions about transpo, etc.). The apartment was just as pictures show - very clean, bed was great, sofa bed was great, amazing well-stocked kitchen, air conditioning was great too and made the apartment very comfortable in the summer heat. Loved it & loved the location - even though you are right in the heart of Little Italy, things quieted down by 10:00 pm weeknights. The subway was a 5 min walk and even at night we felt totally safe walking. Starbucks fans - you'll have 2 to choose from, both about 5 min. walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here and would do so again myself. Thanks Rob!

Jun 27, 2019Rob is a welcoming , patient ( our flight was 3 hours late) helpful host. The apartment is well appointed , clean and in a great location. There is a good supply of traveller basics eg. Olive oil, dressings, tea, pasta etc to use but despite the good intentions to save money and cook we didn't. .I loved the little balcony. I highly recommend . Thanks Rob.

It was clean , uncluttered and spacious and well lit by sunlight Couldn't believe we actually had a little balcony in NYC which was wonderful for having coffee in the morning . Jun 27, 2019Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Robert! Nous ne l'avons jamais rencontré mais la communication était optimale et c'était suffisant. Il a été prévoyant, affable et au taquet pour répondre à nos attentes. La situation est parfaite, à côté de plusieurs stations de métro et si vous êtes en forme, vous pouvez sillonner tout Manathan à pied à partir de l'appartement. Charmant et déco minimaliste, l'appartement n'est pas encombré de babioles inutiles, ce qui laisse de la place pour nos effets personnels. La cuisine full équipée et très propre nous a été d'une grande utilité dans la mesure où nous logions avec notre bébé. Très calme, même s'il est situé au 4è étage au dessus de restaurants, nous n'avons pas été dérangés par les bruits (fenêtres fermées car climatisation bruyante, attention si vous voyagez en été). Ceci dit, pour les personnes au sommeil léger, vous n'échapperez pas au réveil en fanfare des camions poubelles vers 3h du matin! Mais je pense que pour une ville comme New York, il est difficile de trouver une logement parfaitement silencieux. Quoi qu'il en soit, nous le recommandons chaudement ;-)
Jun 27, 2019We are 2 elderly women from Australia. Robert was a wonderful host. Our arrival early in the morning was late but he waited for us patiently and helped us with our luggage into the apartment. The apartment is comfortably, very conveniently located and light and airy. Small problems were dealt with immediately and there were no big issues. We stayed 13 nights and it was a very good base for our New York adventure. For a short visit the apartment is perfect. For a longer stay such as ours, it would have been nice to have some reading lamps and somewhere comfortable to sit. The lone armchair is a killer for the back. We used the couch as a bed and left it open during our stay. Linens should have been better laundered and the floor left our bare feet black.

Jun 27, 2019Die Kommunikation mit Robert war stets freundlich und er hat immer schnell reagiert (Mail). Das Apartment ist super gelegen und war aufgeräumt und sauber. Leider war die Bettwäsche nicht wie von Robert im Vorfeld angekündigt frisch, aber wir konnten saubere Sachen finden und haben uns dann selbst weiter geholfen. Das W-LAN hat einwandfrei funktioniert und damit das Leben einfacher gemacht. Insgesamt war das Apartment sehr gut.

Location is great, apartment is very spacious and Rob is very welcoming and quite easy to reach (although it wasn't needed as their is a house manu am that is very self-explanatory). I work in the hotel industry and find an apartment such as this one a much better option than any hotel room. Really no negative thing to say. Would definitely book again if in town.

Jun 27, 2019Amazing place! Location was right in the middle of Little Italy, walking distance to Soho, East Village, Lower East Side...all the best parts of nyc. Apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, surprisingly large compared to most places in manhattan. Highly recommend!
Jun 27, 2019The kitchen was amazing and fully stocked! I really enjoyed how well the heat worked in the apartment and the comfortable bedding. The only downside was I had a lot of Ubers cancel on me since there isn't really space to pull over on the (Website hidden by Airbnb) you have to tell them to meet you on another street which isn't always convenient.

The pictures accurately displayed the apartment and we felt very at home immediately. I would absolutely stay at this apartment again and I would definitely recommend it to others. The location in downtown NYC is perfect with its proximity to the Canal St station. The flat is very nice and matches the description at airbnb.

Jun 27, 2019We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Robs in Little Italy. His apartment was clean and tidy and perfect for our stay. The shower was great, bed was comfy, heating was great (we arrived and it was -12c so freezing). Having an elevator with our luggage was a bonus. The location was perfect. Close walking distance to a few different subway lines, lots of great restaurants and shops. I would absolutely stay here again the next time i am in NY. Also for NYC I found the apartment spacious. Rob allowed us to leave our bags the day we were leaving as our flight wasn't until late, which was really helpful and we were thankful of. Thanks Rob!

Robert was there to meet us in the apartment when we arrived and took us through the flat essentials. The apartment itself was just like the pictures, very clean and very spacious! The location of the flat was perfect for our first stay in NYC, we were able to walk everywhere from the flat but we were also very close to a number of metro stops when we got too tiered to walk back again! Great number of bars and restaurants just on the doorstep! Would definitely recommend staying at Robert's place and would book his apartment again without a second thought! Thanks!

We found everything was either on our doorstep our incredibly easy to get to via one of the nearby Subway stations. The apartment is very well equipped with a great kitchen and living space - it was larger than it looks in the pictures. The the sofa-bed in the living area was more than adequate to comfortably sleep in for an extended stay, allowing two of us to share the space. Everything was clean and tidy and kept in good working order. Rob was a great host and stayed late to welcome us to the apartment when our flight was later than expected. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, I would not hesitate to recommend Rob's place to anyone looking to tour the city.

It is well equipped with a comfortable large bed and modern kitchen. The noise from the street was a lot less than we expected, and what a street it is. Mulberry St is the beating heart of Little Italy and watching the flow of humanity from Roberts apartment became a ritual. For a couple experiencing NY for the first time we feel we won the AirBnB lottery and we would stay there again without hesitation.
Jun 27, 2019el departamento de robert es genial, esta muy bien ubicado en la cuadra principal de little italy que esta llena de restaurantes y gente todo el dia y la noche, llegar desde el aeropuerto en subte es muy fácil. el departamento es grande y estaba muy limpio, tiene de todo para cocinar, eramos 3 y nos sentimos muy cómodas en todo momento. ademas casi todas las lineas del subte se combinan justo en esa zona por lo que es muy fácil llegar a todos los puntos de la ciudad, y muchas cosas como el soho, triberca, down town las puedas hacer caminando. sin duda volvería a hospedarme en el departamento de robert.
Jun 27, 2019Très bonne expérience dans l'appartement de Robert qui est vraiment parfait pour un séjour de 10 ou 15 jours. Très bien placé dans New York avec 4 lignes différentes à moins de 5 minutes. L'appartement en lui même est top, c'est un grand T1 (environ 45m²) très bien équipé ! La literie est super bien et les voisins sont calmes. Très content du séjour, je recommande fortement !

Jun 27, 2019Robert's place has been one of our best Airbnb stays so far. The apartment is exactly as described and depicted in the photos. The open kitchen and renovated bathroom were the standouts, but there were also other amenities that made our couple of weeks a pleasant experience. The location is pretty convenient, not just because it's near two important subway stations that cover practically 80% of the main Manhattan attractions (Canal St. [N, Q, R, J, Z, 6] and Grand St. [B, D]) but also because it's close to SoHo and NoLIta, so shopping and nightlife is within a 5-10 min. walk. Last but not least, Robert was very nice as a host, as he waited for our arrival at the apartment and provided us with a lot of information and a contact number in case we needed something.

Jun 27, 2019hola! yo estuve en el departamento 8 dias. La verdad es que no me puedo quejar. El departamento es exactamente lo que las fotos muestran. Es un departamento amplio, luminoso que tiene todo los servicios. Todo en excelente estado. Tuvimos television por cable y tambien internet WIFI (solo dos dias no tuvimos por un problema de la empresa de cable pero el dueño se preocupo mucho por solucionarlo y pudimos tener señal nuevamente). En fin el departamento es muy lindo. La ubicacion es en el corazon de little Italy. Rodeado por restaurantes italianos. El barrio es muy lindo. Esta ubicad (Website hidden by Airbnb) cuadras de la estacion canal street del metro (linea N R y Q) que desde ahi se puede llegar a muchos de los puntos centricos y turisticos de Manhattan. Esta cerca del centro financiero, del puente de Brooklyn, del soho y de china town. El recibimiento de Robert fue muy bueno. Me explico todo el funcionamiento del departamento y te deja una guia con todos los contactos y los lugares cercanos donde se puede comer o comprar. La verdad fue una muy buena experiecia y muy recomendable.

La rue est typique est bien situé dans manathan donc très facile pour se déplacer et visiter ainsi que pour sortir boire un verre ou se faire un des excellents resto italien de la rue. L accordéoniste de la rue nous laissera un souvenir impérissable.

Robert is a great host; everything was easy, from booking to communicating to getting the keys to checking-out. The apartment is modern, cozy and clean. Tons of natural sunlight & a nice patio overlooking Mulberry make it the perfect home-base for your city adventure. Ideal for 1 or 2 couples We were staying there with my Wife as well as my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. To be honest, they are snobs with expensive taste; and they were incredibly impressed with the accommodations at Robert's! I am a native New Yorker, I lived in Brooklyn for 4 years, and I have to say this is the best possible airbnb you can hope for in NYC! If you don't stay at Robert's place you are foolish. I will definitely be staying here next time I visit the city!

Jun 27, 2019This was my first time using Airbnb, and Robert could not have made it any easier for me. Meeting up with him was easy, despite me missing my train in and having to get a later one. The communication was consistent leading up to my trip. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and feels lived in, which is exactly what I wanted for my stay in New York. The neighborhood is, as the description says, the heart of Little Italy, and is amazing. Being able to step right out the door into the middle of it is a great feeling. I really don't think I could have been happier.

The location (and the bonus of an elevator) was perfect with restaurants, cafes, stores and transport all within easy walking distance. The only thing I couldn't find was the washing machine. But the apartment certainly had everything else including a fantastic shower. I can thoroughly recommend Robert's apartment.
Jul 27, 2019Absolutely amazing experience. We spent almost a month in the apartment and felt like home. The location is perfect, the apartment has every little thing you might need (kettle, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, hair dryer, cable TV, etc) and the bed is extremely comfortable. It was also spotless. We stayed there in February when the temperature got to -13 Celsius, but it was never cold in the apartment - the heating worked beautifully. I also have to say that the picture of the bed makes it look smaller than it actually is - it's a king size, perfect for two tall / large people. Communication with Robert couldn't have been any easier, really - he greeted us at the apartment upon arrival and ensured we had everything we needed. I thoroughly recommend this flat as a base to explore NYC - perfect apartment and really trustworthy host. Thanks Robert!
Jun 27, 2019Robert, our host, is a great, very friendly and helpful person who made us feel comfortable from the very first minute. He is very professional and we had a friendly email exchange before our trip to make sure everything was clear. On the day of arrival he met us at the apartment and he made sure that we had everything we needed to feel home at his place. The apartment is great and close to everything you want to explore in NY. Staying in Little Italy just makes you feel like a New Yorker. You can walk around a great neighborhood with nice Restaurants, Diners and Cafes. And it ist walking distance to everything else or you can easily get to public transportation. We were first a little worried about the noise from the street because Mulberry Street is very lively. But there is no need to worry. You hardly can hear something in the apartment and they stop quite early. And it is NEW York. You must love the sound. The apartment is very cozy. Nice kitchen that gives you all possibilities. It is clean and big enough for a little family. We love the place and can only recommend it. We definitely want to come back!!!!
Jun 27, 2019Great location in the great city of New York. Robert's communication, updates and personal greeting made for a Molto Bene stay. This truly is a little gem in little Italy. The wee balcony was one of our favorite aspects, seeing and hearing the world of little Italy 4 stories up provided a view into the city which most may not get to experience. While we did not cook, the modern kitchen holds a full size frig, which was able to handle all the great leftovers from the restaurants. Well Done Robert!
Jun 27, 2019Rob was a great host. He was super understanding about our late flight, and was happy to show us around at 2am after our long delays in immigration. The apartment is fantastic, really spacious with a well-equipped kitchen with everything you would need for your stay. The bed is large and sleeps two comfortably, and was really comfortable. The area is surprisingly quiet - even though it is on a busy street the restaurants close early. I'm a light sleeper and had no troubles sleeping at night. Great location, close to Chinatown, Soho, the subway, and right in the heart of little Italy. I would definitely stay again and recommend Rob's place to others.
Jun 27, 2019My mum and I stayed in Robert's apartment for 5 days in April for my 26th birthday. The apartment exceeded our expectations, it was spacious with a well equipped kitchen and the bed and the sofa were both very comfortable. The shower was very hot and powerful. The location was ideal to discover New York, as it is very close to a number of subway stations. Plenty of restaurants on the doorstep, should you need a quick bite to eat. Our favourite breakfast spot, called The Butcher's daughter is just a few blocks away. It also felt like a very safe neighbourhood. Robert met us at the apartment and told us everything we needed to know to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Robert met us and gave a quick tour and also enabled us to leave our bags there on our departure day as we had a late flight out. Walking distance to the key subway lines which get you everywhere. Walking distance to fascinating little shopping and artistic areas such as Elizabeth st, SoHo, Prince st etc. Make sure you explore The length of Mulberry st as it is a fascinating street itself. Probably not as quiet at night as has been suggested, but it is a city! Kitchen is well stocked. Bathroom good. Lounge is a good size and couch provides suitable bed for a third guest. Balcony gives a great outlook on Little Italy's atmosphere and action. Had a great week, would highly recommend. Thanks Robert.

He was very welcoming when we arrived on Sunday and even went above and beyond helping us tell our cab driver how to navigate to the apartment with street closures. The apartment was surprisingly quiet considering the location. The location was great with short walks to two subway lines - I would definitely recommend this place to someone who wants to experience the city! The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to do a few meals there. We found a grocery store a few blocks up the street that wasn't fancy but had all the staples we needed. This was our first Airbnb stay but after this great experience it won't be our last!

He was very personable and informative and gave us lots of information about transport and things to do. Great roomy unit with very adequate kitchen and equipment. Little Italy was a great area to stay and was close to tow subway stations giving us plenty of options. The area really got going on the week end when the street became a mall with lots of tourists wandering around. No problem for noise as most of the actions was over by about 10:00pm

Jun 27, 2019Everything went perfectly. We met within 5 minutes of arranged time. The apartment was lovely and spacious. The photos don't do it justice. We loved people watching from the little balcony and Little Italy is a wonderful place to do that. There are so many restaurants around that you are spoiled for choice. The only negative is that we had no access to the laundry room. You needed a fob which we weren't given. I didn't bother getting in touch about it as I was travelling on elsewhere where I could wash my clothes. As I said, that was the only negative. I would certainly return and highly recommend this little gem.

Situé dans un quartier historique et animé où il fait bon se promener le soir, et l'ambiance festive est permanente. Les métros ne sont pas très loin à pied (5 lignes à moins de 5 minutes à pied).
Jun 27, 2019Vi fik en mail inden ankomst, og Allan tog imod os på adressen og var tilgængelig på telefon inden vi ankom til boligen. Så det var super. Allan fortalte os om boligen og beliggenheden, og hvad vi ellers havde brug for at vide. Området var rigtig fint med mulighed for indkøb af enhver art og vi følte os trygge i området. Der var Subway i nærheden vi benyttede den dog ikke, da vi gerne vil opleve byen ved at gå. Der var San Gennaro da vi var i lejligheden, det var hyggeligt at opleve, dog er vi glade for, at vi kun var der de tre dage, da det samlede rigtig mange mennesker i gaden og dermed lidt mere støj end ellers. Men fint at opleve nogle få dage.

Jun 27, 2019O Robert demorava um pouco pra responder as mensagens por fazer trabalho em outros países, mas foi muito legal nos deixando ficar até à tarde no check out por causa do nosso vôo, isso ajudou muito. O Alan estava doente e precisou chamar outra pessoa para nos receber, que atrasou, e tivemos que ficar esperando na pequena entrada do prédio. A casa é super completa, desde eletrodomésticos a produtos de limpeza, mas achei o armário que guarda roupas de cama e banho desorganizado, tudo numa pilha. A casa também tem muita coisa do morador, e minha esposa sentiu esses detalhes por causa da rinite alérgica. A casa fica numa rua com muitos restaurantes, mas não achei barulhenta. A localização para linhas do metrô é ótima e se deixar para jantar na volta dos passeios vai ter muita opção do lado mesmo.

Jun 27, 2019This was my third trip to NYC and the apartment was probably the best out of all three trips. It was a great size and had everything we needed for our trip. It was in a pretty good location, close to subway stations and Broadway shopping, however there was a fair bit of noise in the street at night and early morning and on occasion it tended to wake me up. But other than that everything was great. Robert and his assistant, Allan, were both really helpful and accommodating.

Jun 27, 2019Great location in little Italy, close to Chinatown, East Village, Financial district (911 memorial, One World Center), Soho, etc all within walking distance. Cool cafes and restaurants nearby. Enough said about the location? The place was clean, modern, and tidy. Kitchen is super nice and has KitchenAid appliances (a plus). It had everything we needed. Next time I plan to go to New York, I will definitely look for Rob's place again. Allan, his assistant, was super helpful and allowed us to check out late. Check-in process was super smooth.
Jun 27, 2019Robert was a great host for us, he accommodated both our late arrival and departure. The apartment was much more spacious than we expected. It has both a large living room and a separate bedroom. It is conveniently located in the heart of little Italy with many excellent restaurants and markets in easy walking distance. The apartment is on the 4th floor, but the building has an elevator, We stayed for 9 days, so the washer and dryer in the basement were another unexpected convenience for us. The apartment was clean and the neighborhood was also clean and safe to walk around day or night. Subway stations are just a few blocks away so you can get to midtown or Central Park in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend Robert's place if you want to stay in this area. I hope it's available when we come back next year

Jun 27, 2019Robert's apartment was a life saver. I had a weeklong work obligation downtown and I needed to get to and from Foley square as quickly as possible. The apartment was located in exactly the right place. It is spacious, cozy and comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, nice crumbled stone tile in the bathroom, comfortable bed, gorgeous bedding, great lighting, just really nice. The area is so chock full of restaurants that it can be difficult to find the little convenience store or wine shop you might need, so I would suggest doing a little exploring early in your stay, heading north rather than south (you will find them within 3 or 4 block). It was not nearly as noisy as I expected the neighborhood to be, except for one night when a jack hammer started happening at midnight, which is not allowed by city ordinance, but could (and does) happen anywhere in the city. If I wasn't on the verge of falling asleep, I would have gone out and yelled at whoever was doing it and called 311. The lobby as you walk in has some wear and tear, but you will forget about it as soon as you walk in to the apartment and see to the beautiful wood floors. Great place and I'll stay there again.

Great location in Little Italy (this part of town was a bit quieter than expected, but easy to access the more lively parts of town from here), clean apartment, and MUCH larger than expected. To be honest, the amount of space in this apartment is insane for New York City. Definitely would stay here again - no problems at all.

Jun 27, 2019I have traveled to NYC many times over the years. This was the best. Location is great, close to wonderful restaurants in both Little Italy and Chinatown and walking distance to the metro. We were a family of three and all were comfortable. I loved all the coffee machines and having a fridge and dishwasher was super as well. We will definitely stay here again
Jun 27, 2019The apartment location was right in the middle of little Italy and Chinatown. Everything about the apartment is as pictured and clean. The full kitchen was a real life saver traveling with a 14m old. We made baby foods for the baby and ordered take out for the adults from restaurants close by when little kids are tired from sight seeing. Will definitely book from Rob again if we are heading to NYC.

La zona è tranquilla. Unica pecca leggermente rumorosa per la presenza di molti ristoranti. Soprattutto il fine settimana molta gente e rumore sino a notte.

Jun 27, 2019Tolle Wohnung im Herzen von Nolita. Wir waren schon sehr oft in NY, bisher immer im Hotel, werden aber in Zukunft gerne wieder bei Robert wohnen. Die Kommunikation war nett und entspannt, die Wohnung bietet alles was man so braucht und ist trotz Trubel am Abend in der Nacht ruhig. Der chinesische Supermarkt um die Ecke bietet alles was man so braucht. Auf der Mulberry weiter hoch und Prince St gibt es nette Restaurants und auch Kneipen. Das Frühstück im "Baz" gleich um die Ecke in der Grand St ist großartig! Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Il y a plusieurs lignes de subway à moins de 5 minutes de marche, ce qui est très appréciable pour visiter facilement tout NYC.
Jun 27, 2019We really enjoyed our 10-day stay in Rob's spacious apartment. The location is unbelievable. There is buzz of fun activity in this pocket of the city, yet it's quiet late at night. Rob was a great host. He made our arrival/check-in so easy, and even texted midway through our stay to make sure things were going well. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, coffee, etc. We would stay again!

Jun 27, 2019You couldn't ask for anything more with Roberts apartment. It was exactly as described in the listing, clean and tidy, Perfect location! It is smack bang in the middle of little Italy and China town. Busy area during the day and then quiet at night time when all the restaurants shut.. it was perfect!!! So many eateries to choose from. Robert was a great host, met us at 1.30am after our long 18hr flight , which we appreciated very much. Would definitely stay here again! Loved it! Thanks Robert :)
Jun 27, 2019Robert's apartment at 143 Mulberry st. Is a perfect place to stay if you're visiting and need somewhere to call home base. It's Close to several different subway lines, in the heart of Little Italy (literally), a couple blocks from Chinatown and the freedom tower. When in back in NY again I will look for this place.

Jun 27, 2019When we first entered the flat (very late at night) we found it spacious and comfortable. After spending a day I sent Robert a message mentioning that a small table by the sofa could be nice in order to put our glasses on when watching the TV. I also told him that I didn’t find the dining table mentioned in his description. The day after we found the 2 tables upon returning to the apartment, which was very kind of him. . And I thanked him for that. I decided then to overlook the dirtiness of the sitting room window, the broken basin in the bathroom, the impossibility to store our own toilet bags since the underneath cupboard was full of his stuff, the fact that we had to push his own clothes in the bedroom closet in order to put ours, the impossibility to store our food in your kitchen cupboards as they were already full…… But there is something I cannot overlook. It is the shock I had when I removed the bed sheets and discovered the state of his mattress. Studded with stains, probably urine stains. And the sheets were directly in contact with the mattress. Not even a mattress cover. If I had discovered that upon our arrival I would have rushed to the nearest hotel. It is a matter of hygiene and this is not acceptable. Same thing with the pillows. The pillow cases directly in contact with spotted pillows. No pillow cover. I took pictures to illustrate this sorry situation. . Robert seems to be running a real business out of his flat and that should make him responsible. The fact that he ignores the minimum hygiene rules is my business. A clean apartment is the most essential part of the Airbnb experience. This is not acceptable. I am not asking for any refund of all sorts. One thing is sure I don’t feel like visiting this place again. I have been renting places all over the world through Airbnb, Tripadvisor, etc… I had never seen a thing like that.
Jun 27, 2019I stayed here for a long weekend with my Mom, and it was great! Communication with the host was excellent, even when our flight was delayed arriving into Newark. There is plenty of space; the couch pulls out into a comfy bed. The location is nice with multiple subway lines close and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!
Jun 27, 2019You really can't beat the location in the heart of Little Italy. Close to multiple subway stations and easy walking distance to so many great areas like Chinatown, the Financial District and Battery Park. Rob's place has everything you need to be comfortable and he's a great host. Rob met us at the apartment and gave us a through rundown of everything available at his place and the surrounding area. He has three coffeemakers there including a French press along with coffee, so your caffeine needs should be easily satisfied. If you want to have a locals experience, this is the place. Really enjoyed the stay and would certainly stay again next time we're in NYC.
Jun 27, 2019This apartment is a great location!!! Nicely remodeled kitchen with a Keurig and several other coffee makers. hardwood floors throughout. Nice and clean. Pretty bare bones decorations, but we really just wanted a clean comfortable place to stay in this neighborhood, which was a block from our daughters NYU dorm. The owner, Rob, was super nice and responsive.

Jun 27, 2019This is a great apartment right in the center of the shrinking Little Italy. It has everything you need as far as linens, towels and even toiletries, coffee, tea and snacks. We were only there 3 nights and didn't even need to go to a grocery store at all since we dined out at daily.

Jun 27, 2019My parents and I had a great 3 night stay at Robert's apartment in the middle of Little Italy. It really is the perfect location, especially for someone visiting the city for the first time. There are literally dozens of restaurants within a couple of blocks from the apartment, and the bars, shops and restaurants in Soho, Nolita, the Lower East Side, and Chinatown are an easy walk. Despite the super central location, the street gets quiet at night once the restaurants close up. The apartment itself is clean and big for the city -- way bigger than a hotel room at the same price point -- so was comfortable for 3 people. Robert is a great host as well, taking the time to meet us in person and answer questions. Highly recommended!
Jun 27, 2019Rob’s place is perfext. We stayed for two weeks over the Christmas period. Rob was there when we arrived and had bought a lovely gift of candy and cookies for us. Communication was excellent and Rob was very swift to respond to all my queries. The apartment itself is perfect and has everything you need: a well equipped kitchen, great coffee machine, comfortable sofa, fast WiFi, powerful shower (all as described!). Location is brilliant, in the heart of things but close enough to the more laid back Soho/ Nolita area. Grocery stores, bars, restaurants: everything you need is right on the doorstep. We were there during the blizzard and Rob was really accommodating, letting us stay a bit longer in the apartment as the airports were closed on the day we were meant to leave. All in all, a great host, a great apartment and we hope to return!

Jun 27, 2019From check in to departure nothing went awry. Robert was very responsive from the time we initially reserved until we departed. The bed was very comfortable, the apartment clean and aside from one early morning of 4 AM city trash pick up, the place is quiet. You will not want for coffee with his various coffee makers. The shower has good temperature control and great pressure. Having a dishwasher for those who eat in is a big plus. The trash chute is right out the door and we could recycle in the basement. We thoroughly enjoyed Robert’s apartment and would return to this restaurant-filled and safe neighborhood. Thank you, Robert for sharing your home with us.

Jun 27, 2019Location was amazing! The apt was spacious and clean, lots of kitchen appliances for our every need, and communication with the host was rapid and efficient. Just a tip for future travelers, use the deadbolt lock. We ran into a resident in the building that said her apt was broken into, though unsure how. Rob’s door automatically locks, but use the key for the deadbolt as well. We didn’t have any issues with burglary though and felt quite safe in the apt and in the neighborhood.
Jun 27, 2019Rob's place is absolutely incredible! The location is in the middle of Little Italy, with unlimited restaurants and brunch places around you! There is a great bagel place just around the corner (Baz Bagel) and The Cupping Room (another fantastic brunch place) is just 10 min walk! The apartment is so clean, the shower hot and the place feels like home. We loved the recommendations of other guests, walked around everywhere and also the subway station is closeby! The bed is super comfy, the kitchen wonderful and the view from the window makes you feel like you're part of a good NY movie (Goodfellas or the Godfather!) Loved it, would definitely come back!!

Jun 27, 2019Robert's apartment was comfortable and convenient. So many fun places within walking distance. There's an awesome, old school Italian cheese shop and deli just 2 blocks away. Several Italian restaurants on the same block. China town is just half a block away, too. We found the Metrograph, a vintage movie theatre and restaurant just a 7 block walk away, and spent a couple of afternoons/evenings there. Robert and Allen were very responsive, and Allen met us at the apartment on arrival. Highly recommend this listing!

Compared to our earlier experiences with other apapartments that we have stayed in NYC, Robert's apt. is very clean and especially the kitchen is fully equipped. Highly recommended and will definitely coming back again.

Jun 27, 2019The place is much larger than expected and so nice. Our home was on HGTV so I have high expectations. The kitchen has all full sized appliances including a dishwasher. We felt incredible safe! The place is nestled amongst all the cafes of Little Italy, so you never are on an empty street. Absolutely staying there again when we return!

The home is very clean and exactly what the pictures depicted. Unfortunately we were unable to meet Robert, but his assistant Allan was friendly, reliable and responsive. Excellent value and worth every dollar!

Jun 27, 2019Robert's apartment in located on the 4th floor right in the heart of Little Italy. The apartment is well appointed & allows for self catering (decent practical kitchen). Location is only 2 blocks from Canal St subway. Can get a bit noisy with the service vehicles collecting rubbish etc from the many restaurants below. Robert was very accommodating, kept in contact before & during our stay which shows us a genuine interest in his guests.
Jun 27, 2019My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The apartment is as described and the pictures are accurate. It was very spacious and comfortable for the two of us. The location was fun and convenient for getting to anywhere in the city. There are two subway stations close by. There was some street noise but nothing that earplugs or light music can’t drown out. Rob was very helpful and responsive and a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Rob’s place was huge and had everything we needed! It was walking distance to everything in Lower Manhattan and also close to Grand and Canal Street subway. You are right in the heart of little Italy but it’s very quiet for the amount of people around. The bed was comfortable, wifi great and the shower pressure fantastic! It was also nice to have a lift in the building and not have to walk up 4 stories every day! Boarding Chinatown there is heaps around to do see and eat. We would love to stay again in the future!

Jun 27, 2019This is a great apartment. Most one bedroom apartments in Manhattan are tiny. This is a "true" one bedroom. The bedroom is big enough to put your suitcases near the bed. The kitchen is full size, and runs into a full size living room. The apartment was very clean, with tons of towels and a well-equipped kitchen, TV with lots of channels, great living room couch, and the owner sent a wonderful rep to check us in, Allan, who was patient and gave us great restaurant recommendations. This is beyond central--right on Mulberry Street 1.5 blocks from Canal. If you come into Grand Central, the 6 train leaves you only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The area is a great one for walking around, and the nearby streets tend to be a bit less busy with cars. As to people, it was just Saturday that Little Italy and Mulberry St. got busy, but once you stepped off into a side street, no. Regarding noise, well, you are in the city. We stayed Thurs to Sun, and only Friday night did we pick up any late night noise. We recommend you looking around for restaurants, the ones right on Mulberry are friendly but they are the pricey tourist places and you can often find a place that's more interesting. Robert's place is highly recommended!!

Tre fermate della metro nel raggio di 500 metri. Asciugamani e lenzuola a disposizione senza limiti. Gentile e premuroso l'host. Forse il valore aggiunto sarebbe stato una pulizia maggiore degli interni, ma il prezzo, per gli standard di New York è veramente molto competitivo e quindi un po' di tolleranza in più è dovuta.

Jun 27, 2019Antes de hablar del departamento, vale la pena hacer una aclaracion y destacar la buena predisposición de Robert y el buen gesto que tuvo al dejarnos una gran bandeja con muchas cositas dulces, café y varias cosas más para la bienvenida. En nuestro caso, desde el momento que llegamos y hasta cuándo fuimos, cada vez que necesitamos algo, nos respondió enseguida. El departamento, tal como esta anunciado, está ubicado en el corazón de Little Italy, donde uno puede sentir el espíritu Italiano. No van a faltar unas buenas pizzas (ya sean de Lombardi, como de Champion's -- Hay miles!!)... ambas muy buenas, aunque me quedo con la ultima, unas excelentes pastas y algún que otro dulce. Todo esta muy cerca (inclusive el barrio chino, pero en nuestro caso supimos aprovechar las buenas comidas y los masajes en los pies). Lo mismo sucede con el subte, lo usamos muchísimo y se tiene a pocas cuadras varias estaciones. En concreto el departamento cumple con lo prometido. Excelente calefacciones (nosotros pasamos navidad y año nuevo), muy buena presión de agua, cocina super completa - con varias opciones de café-, cama del dormitorio muy buena y limpia. Sin dudas volvería a visitar la casa de Robert.

Jun 27, 2019Robert's apartment is exactly as described, it's nothing luxurious but very clean, comfortable, spacious, it has everything you need to live and feel as if you were at home. What you see in the photos is exactly what you will find. Position is great, right in the heart of Little Italy, many subways within short walking distance. Apt is on 4th floor with efficient elevator. Robert was very kind to meet me on my arrival even if it was past 8pm. Communication was easy and fast. I hope to stay there again and would recommend to anybody.
