The kitchen window opens to the alfresco entertaining deck. On this level are two bedrooms with king-single beds and one bedroom with a single that can open out into a double. The main bathroom has a separate bath and shower. Ceiling fans are in all bedrooms. Cupboard space plus access to books, toys and games for those young of heart. Downstairs is the master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite, the laundry and family room with large TV. Outside is the entertaining deck, BBQ, pizza oven and yard with a large trampoline, cubby, swings and slide. Please note that there are 2 flights of stairs to enter the house, and one flight of stairs from downstairs to upstairs. There is always a lot of on-street parking available.

Neighborhood Overview
Located in the leafy suburb of Beacon Hill. District views. Coastal breezes. 5 minutes drive to Curl Curl and Dee Why beaches. 10 minutes to family favourite Freshwater Beach. 15 minutes to the centre of Manly. Restaurants, coastal walks, golf courses, bicycle trails, parks, bush walks, lakes and dam all nearby. Large shopping centre 10 minutes walk away. World famous Taronga Zoo only 25 minutes drive away.
Notes
Guests need to know are that we have 2 pet cats living in the house normally. When we are away, they stay elsewhere and we clean the house prior to guests. However those with allergies need to consider this prior to booking. We also have stairs leading directly to the main living room without a gate. We do ask no gate be put up incase of damage to our property. We ask guests with toddlers or babies to please consider this prior to booking. Thanks you
Transit
5 minute walk to bus stop, with regular buses for Manly wharf, the CBD and north along the Northern beaches to Palm Beach. Express buses take around 25 minutes to travel into the city. A ferry from Manly Wharf to the CBD is our favourite though. Only a 30 minute ride through the most beautiful harbour in the world. Manly Warringah Cabs are very quick to arrive at our home. There are multiple car hire agencies within the area with a range of cars for all types of needs.

Easy - we ask you to look after our home and leave it as you found it. We are very house proud and love our home, we are clean and tidy and would expect for you to treat our home with respect. We are non-smokers. Please do not smoke on our premises. All linen used be left in the laundry on departure. When you're leaving please don’t leave dirty dishes/glasses/cutlery etc in the sink. Wash them by hand or pack the dishwasher and turn it on before you go. No loud parties (small dinner parties and gatherings are fine, but remember that you have neighbours who are more than likely not on holidays and may have to get up and go to work the next day) We will ask you to pay for any damage that occurs during your stay. If there are any problems, please contact us as soon as possible. Pets are unfortunately not able to stay. Thank you!

We have just returned from our trip to Australia and our stay at Beacon Hill. From the moment we entered the property we knew we had found our home for 3 weeks. The house had been carefully prepared to make us feel that we were not intruding but feel at home. All spaces were organised clean and of a very high standard. Communication with Mari has always been fast and informative. Our stay in Mari and James home has been a pure pleasure and we are so happy that we had the opportunity to share in their home. We had full access to all the house which made our stay comfortable and relaxed. The outside space for entertaining was excellent and the beds, linen towels and use of washing machine, dishwasher etc made for a very comfortable sleep and stay. We have 2 teenage sons so the extra space the house gave was very important for our trip as were spending quality time with our sister who lives in the northern beaches. We were met by Mari 's mother who was so very welcoming and there was no problems at all during our stay. We would all recommend this home as a choice on AIRBNB WITH REGARDS JO AND PAUL STEVENS
Jun 27, 2019Mari's home is a lovely family home that is looked after very well. Location is great being such a short drive to various beaches, there's also bus stops a short walk away, as is the local shopping mall. The house itself has everything you need, beautiful well kept gardens, a brilliant sheltered BBQ space complete with ceiling fan and speakers to hook music up to, lovely kitchen area, modern bathroom and main ensuite, plenty of towels, aircon works well on hot summer days! Finally, Mari was very easy to deal with, quick to respond to messages and happy to help where she can. I do not have a single bad thing to say about this home and my family would gladly stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019What a wonderful stay at Mari's place! The house is so close to shops and beaches and there are great connections to the city from Warringah Mall. Only 30 mins to the city by bus if you don't have a car. The garden is beautiful with a lovely treetop view and cubbyhouse that was a hit with the kids. Mari was fast to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Thank you for providing everything we needed Mari, we appreciate you sharing your home with us.
