La casa tiene unas vistas espectaculares y se encuentra bien situada en el centro, está limpia, es amplia y espaciosa, aunque aún pueden mejorar en algunos detalles. ¡Prepara tus piernas para subir y bajar cuestas! Jun 27, 2019Superbe séjour à Porto ! L'appartement de Jorge et Wanda est super ! Très bien placé et refait à neuf. Tout est là pour se sentir chez-soi. La vue du balcon est magnifique et vous donne un avant goût de la beauté de cette petit ville. Jorge et Wanda nous ont très bien reçus et sont restés très disponibles tout au long du séjour. Les hôtes nous ont même proposé une leçon de surf (tout compris) pour 20€, ils viennent vous chercher à l'appartement et vous ramènent. Tout est très bien organisé pour vous permettre de passer un excellent séjour. Je recommande vivement.

Merci pour leur sympathique attention que nous avons dégustée le soir sur le balcon en regardant se coucher le soleil. L'appartement est très agréable , fonctionnel et bien situé entre les quartiers de Ribeira et Clérigos. Très beau panorama sur le Douro. Excellent souvenir pour une première au Portugal.

Jun 27, 2019Sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten in der Altstadt Portos. Ein wunderschöner Balkon lädt zum entspannen ein. Ansonsten alles da was man braucht und noch mehr. Sehr sauber. Und dazu ein netter Empfang mitten in der Nacht! Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft ohne Einschränkungen weiter.

Jun 27, 2019Logement très bien situé pour découvrir la ville, très confortable et très bien équipé. La vue sur le Douro depuis le balcon est vraiment un plus et nous en avons vraiment bien profité. Accueil parfait avec en prime une bouteille de vin à déguster ! Jorge est très sympathique et répond très rapidement.

Jun 27, 2019Staying at Jorge's apartment was great! We were 4 people and it was ok to sleep for 2 nights. Jorge replied very fast to my last minute request and answered all the questions I had promptly. The view of the balcony was amazing and the wine we received as a gift was much appreciated. Thanks also for the tourist information provided. Taberna Santo Antonio is really close to the apartment and it's totally worth to have lunch/dinner with an affordable price and a exceptional chocolate cake. Thank you Jorge and Vanda for the hospitality!

C'est un appartement qui ne sert que pour la location touristique, mais il y a un petit fond de cuisine, une machine à café et des capsules à disposition.... et une bouteille de vin local (toujours délicieux) en signe de bienvenue Nous avons été accueilli à l'aéroport (15.00 Euros) et amenés sur place par Wanda la collègue de Jorge. Tous s'est bien passé. Il faut savoir que c'est une ville de bord de mer et les goélands sont très bavards dès l'aube et ils ne savent pas parler doucement !!

Jun 27, 2019Le frère de Georges et sa femme sont venus nous chercher à l'aéroport. Très sympathiques, nous avons fait une rapide visite touristique dans Porto, qu'ils ont commentée. L'appartement est situé dans le vieux Porto, il est d'une propreté irréprochable, et chaleureux (aidé en ce sens par la bouteille de Porto laissé à disposition dans le salon, et par la bouteille de vin offerte par nos hôtes). Rien ne manque dans le logement (bouilloire, machine à café, sèche-cheveux, couvertures supplémentaires...). Le lendemain Jorge et son frère nous ont amenés à l'aéroport gracieusement. Vraiment vous êtes personnes généreuses, souriantes et joyeuses, nous ne manquerons pas de revenir. Bonne chance à vous, très bonne année 2016.

The host is super friendly and professional, we even got a pickup from the airport (for a fee) that was really convenient. The apartment itself is beautiful and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

Perfecta vista del Rio Duoro, dan ganas de quedarse ahí a mirar, pero además el apartamento está ubicado en pleno centro histórico de la Cidade Invicta, a pasos de iglesias, monumentos, escaleras y miradores llenos de detalles e historias. Jorge y su familia son excelente anfitriones, muy amables y preocupados por sus clientes, nos ayudaron mucho a entender la ciudad y a sentirnos en casa, representan muy bien la amabilidad de los portuenses, mi familia los recordará con cariño.

Jun 27, 2019Jorges place was better than expected! the pictures don’t do the view justice. 3 of us including myself had a great time there. Clean and situated at the heart of Porto. Walkable distance to not only the center and historic district but also across the river where most of Porto's wine was made. The terrace is more spacious than it looks and we spent most of our time there when we were at home. Lots of sunlight coming into the house and you can even see the sunset in the evening. I highly recommend Jorges place and would go there myself if visiting Porto again.
Jun 27, 2019Jorges Wohnung liegt im alten Stadtteil Sé, kaum Touristen in dieser Gasse und doch sehr zentral. In 4 Minuten zu fuss erreicht man in jede Richtung das lebendige Porto. Jorge war sehr freundlich. In der Wohnung hat es alles was man braucht, das Bett im Schlafzimmer ist sehr gut. Das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse, besonnt von morgens bis abends, mit dieser um- werfenden Aussicht. Danke, Jorge! Ich komme gerne mal wieder.

Jun 27, 2019We arrived late but Jorge picked us up and drove us to the appartment along the waterfront anyways, which we greatly appreciated. The place is cozy and perfectly sized for two, even though the bed might be a little short for the average sized male middle to northern european male ;) The view was great and we were received with great hospitability and warmth. I hope to come again sometime and can definitely recommend it! Thank you for ecerything :)

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is lovely, the terrace has a wonderful view and is well exposed so it's sunny. The apartment is well located, between the upper town and the down town. We stayed 3 days and never take the metro nor bus. Jorge is a great host that provides solutions ! The apartment is ideal for 2 people. The sofa for the 3rd one is a little bit uncomfortable. And during winter (or cold weather) the apartment is a little bit cold (even with the extra radiators). But Porto is usually warm, we didn't have chance. I would definitely come back in the summer ! Thanks a lot

Jun 27, 2019L'accueil de Rui, le frère de Jorge, a été très chaleureux. Il nous a récupéré à l'aéroport et nous a conduit à l'appartement en prenant un itinéraire nous faisant découvrir certains quartiers de Porto. L'appartement est très bien situé et a une vue magnifique sur le Duro. Le niveau d'équipement est bon à 2 exceptions prêt. Le chauffage est fait par 2 petits radiateurs d'appoint et nous avons souffert du froid dans l'appartement car le temps était vraiment mauvais durant notre séjour. Le 2ème couchage est un canapé lit qui n'est vraiment pas confortable. En dehors de ça, l'accueil de Jorge et son frère étaient parfaits et avec un temps clément cet appartement doit être très agréable.

Jun 27, 2019Jorge was great. He and his brother met my travel buddy in the street. The apartment was beautiful. He is on the 2nd floor with no lift so we had to climb the stairs with our luggage. Porto is quite hilly and his place is at the top of a hill so be prepared to walk up and down massive hills. There are stairs for shortcuts but again going up, be prepared to walk.
Jun 27, 2019Wanda nous a reçu avec beaucoup de gentillesse et a parlé en français, le plus qu'elle pouvait, répondu à nos questions. Et Jorge que nous n'avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer a répondu, mais par mail , mais nous l'avons trouvé seulement à notre retour, mais Wanda nous a envoyé un sms.. L'appartement est très bien situé, mi chemin entre le haut de la ville et le fleuve Douro, juste en bas, un parking surveillé pour garder notre voiture la nuit, mais voiture inutile si l'on reste seulement sur Porto. Vue splendide sur le fleuve et les bateaux. Merci à Jorge et Wanda pour le café, le vin , le porto. Liliane et Alain

Jun 27, 2019excellente adresse idéalement placée au centre du vieux PORTO permettant de tout faire à pied. notre avion est arrivé très tôt le matin et , comme le check in n'avait lieu qu'à 15 heures, Jorge nous a donné rendez vous pour nous débarrasser de nos valises , que nous avons retrouvées dans l'appartement l'après midi. c'est Wanda qui nous a accueilli avec gentillesse et sourire dans ce joli petit appartement très propre, fonctionnel et avec une superbe vue de la petite terrasse sur le DOURO pour y déguster le Porto et le vin gentiment offert! adresse à recommander ++++ tant par la qualité du lieu que par la gentillesse et disponibilité de nos hôtes! allez y les yeux fermés! merci JORGE et WANDA

The balcony is such a lovely addition to the flat, although sadly the rain prevented us from using it very much. The location of the flat is very good - walking distance to all the main sites, be prepared for the hills! Jorge and Wanda were great hosts and had lots of local knowledge and tips. Obrigada! He had provided us with all the info about the area and flat itself, treated us with some local wine and port wine, wich was a very pleasant gesture. The apartment is very clean and cosy and the terrace is just lovely. The area is central, however the street is very quiet. We enjoyed staying at Jorge´s apartment and would definitely highly recommend it for other guests. Enjoy Porto.

Le logement était confortable et depuis la terrasse nous avons pu faire de très jolies photos ensoleillées. Nous remercions Jorge pour la bouteille de vin que nous avons dégusté sur place et nous attendons avec impatience de pouvoir retourner à Porto.

Jun 27, 2019Jorge fue muy amable. Nos esperó bastante rato ya que llegamos mas tarde de lo acordado. El departamento muy lindo, bien equipado, una vista increible, buenisima ubicacion. La cama no era muy cómoda ni las almohadas, por lo que eso sugeriría que lo cambiaran, pero fuera de eso, lo recomiendo 100%. Jorge nos guío sobre lugares que visitar además de que en la entrada del departamento tiene mapas, libros de turismo, etc

Jun 27, 2019Det var en herlig oplevelse at bo i Jorges lejlighed. Der er virkelig en fantastisk udsigt over floden, som man kan sidde og nyde i eftermiddagssolen på altanen. Man føler sig straks velkommen og alt det praktiske med nøgler osv. fungerede bare helt perfekt. Wanda, som tog imod os, havde flere gode input til, hvad vi kunne se på den begrænsede tid, vi havde til rådighed. Hun foreslog bl.a. restaurant O Fado, som ligger ganske tæt på lejligheden. Det var en kæmpe oplevelse at høre traditionel portugisisk folkemusik og maden og betjeningen var også i top. Vi kommer meget gerne tilbage til Jorges lejlighed og giver den vores bedste anbefalinger. Susan og Eric - Aarhus

The location has a wonderful view and is convenient to the old town of Porto and to the Port houses across the river in Gaia. The apartment is compact, clean and well equipped.

Jun 27, 2019Can't beat the view! It's in the heart of the city that belongs to locals which means that you aren't surrounded by tourists! It also means that there's a rooster that crows in the morning across the street, so be prepared to have early mornings. But this place is great and Jorge's host, Andrea, greeted me right on time and was very clear with the instructions. Again, I would come back again just to pass time on that balcony! Thanks guys! Had a great time!

Jun 27, 2019Excellent séjour. L’appartement est idéalement situé pour visiter la vielle ville de Porto. Situé dans un quartier authentique, plein de charme, la vue sur le Douro est fabuleuse. Nous avons dégusté avec bonheur, en admirant le couché de soleil, la bouteille de vin de la région du Douro et de Porto, très gentiment offerte par Jorge en signe de bienvenue. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette délicate attention. Le logement correspond parfaitement aux photos , il est très bien organisé et décoré avec goût et dispose de ton le confort nécessaire. idéal pour un couple mais très acceptable pour une petite famille de quatre .

Jun 27, 2019Erg prettig verblijf gehad in het appartement. Het balkon is geweldig, inderdaad 'best view in Porto'! Ligging is perfect, op loopafstand van alles. De beschrijving klopt precies, alles is aanwezig zoals beschreven. Wanda heeft ons ontvangen en was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Omdat we 8 nachten verbleven werden er zelfs extra schone handdoeken gebracht. Appartement was ook erg schoon. Het enige minpunt was het bed. Het kraakte ontzettend en de veren staken in je rug.

Des l'accueil à l'aéroport par Wanda et Rui qui nous ont conduit à l'appartement en nous montrant les endroits de la ville de Porto A découvrir ce que nous avons fait. L'appartement nous a beaucoup plu et il est conforme à la description. Les petites attentions dans l'appartement nous ont fait très plaisir. Nous sommes venus y feter nos 50 ans mais nous reviendrons sans occasion speciale . Nous avons eu la chance que le soleil soit au rendez vous La ville de Porto est magnifique et est à visiter La ballade sur le Douro en bateau sur la journée est à faire aussi. Porto is a lovely city, and we were glad that we rented Jorge's apartment for almost a week, as there is so much to do and see....we especially recommend touring the Douro valley wineries.

Jorge y Wanda son muy amables, dispuestos a dar recomendaciones y estuvieron muy atentos a nuestras preguntas. Das beste ist die Aussicht von dem gemütlichen Balkon, auf dem wir im November jeden Tag unseres Aufenthaltes in der Sonne frühstücken konnten und der bis abends sonnig war. Perfekt. Wäre die Stadt nicht auch so schön, hätte man den Urlaub auch auf diesem Balkon verbringen können. Wir hätten es noch viel länger ausgehalten. Es war eine super Zeit. Danke

A tan solo 10 minutos xaminando de la estacion de trenes, distancia a pie de todo lo que tienes que ver en Porto. La vista del balcon es algo que te deja sin aliento, es maravillosa. Jun 27, 2019Jorge was very helpful from the beginning on. I got the keys at the time I suggested. He was right on time and brought my extra wine and coffee as a welcome present. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need. The bed is very comfy and you find every furniture that is necessary. The view from the balcony is awesome. Jorge took time to introduce me to everything and he offered his help 24/7. All in all a high recommendation from my side! I really enjoyed my stay and would come back every time!
Jun 27, 2019Padrone di casa veramente gentile e disponibile, appartamento carinissimo e pulito in ottima posizione, vicinissimo al centro e con splendida vista sul Douro. Ci sono stati forniti asciugamani, lenzuola e ricambi, ci è stata anche offerta una bottiglia di Porto di benvenuto..=) Soggiorno davvero soddisfacente, consigliatissimo per brevi (4 giorni nel nostro caso) , ma anche per più lunghi periodi.. Jorge and Wanda were communicative and accommodating. Wanda stopped by when we had issues with something. Overall, the place could use some updating though.

Embora aconchegante, faltam cuidados com o apartamento, as coisas são um pouco improvisadas. O anfitrião não foi quem nos recebeu e sim sua cunhada. Ela foi gentil e simpática, não havia café e ficou de levar no dia seguinte, o que não aconteceu. O apartamento fica perto de tudo sim, mas se preparem para ladeiras e escadarias. Nós adoramos Porto e a localização da casa do Jorge, mas não foi minha melhor experiência.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is absolutely perfect; really a true gem. Beautifully designed, centrally located and a SPECTACULAR view. We stayed in 3 different apartments with water views in Lisbon and Porto during this trip and while the other two were lovely, this apartment just blew the others away. Note: the apartment is at the top of a hill (Porto is very hilly) so wear comfortable shoes. Jorge and Vanda were super helpful as well. They left us port wine and coffee and an umbrella, just in case. Luckily it was nothing but sunshine during our 5 days in this apartment. We highly recommend this apartment and would stay at again over and over.
Jun 27, 2019Llegamos a las 16:30 de la tarde y el propietario ya estaba en el piso, cuando llegamos todo olía a limpieza profunda, hasta las sabanas al dormir olían a suavizante, sin duda alguna la experiencia nos encantó, no le faltaba un detalle, tenía una cocina completamente equipada para pasar unos días (vajilla, tostadora, exprimidor, una cocina eléctrica, etc), el baño disponía de geles, velas, toallas, y otros detalles, tenía un armario con ropa de cama al completo, y sobre todo disfrutamos de la terraza con unas vistas impresionantes, era súper romántico. Nosotros éramos 3 personas, pueden dormir tranquilamente 4 personas, porque tiene una cama y un sofá cama. Es un segundo piso sin ascensor, en ningún momento notamos a los vecinos y las gaviotas nos hacían compañía (eso sí, lleva tapones si dormirás en el sofá cama y si tienes el sueño ligero porque hacen ruido jeje) sin embargo se callaban del todo a eso de las 00horas, nosotros dormimos muy pero muy bien. El propietario estuvo en contacto con nosotros durante toda la estancia, tiene un libro de sitios turísticos a recomendar, un libro de sugerencias, en el piso no está permitido fumar, y tenía colgado el resguardo que informaba que es un piso turístico autorizado, Sin duda alguna lo recomendamos al 100%.

The view of Porto by the balcony in the Appartement was just amazing. Thanks Jorge for the wine. It was great to drink it at the end of the day in the balcony while enjoying the view of the sunset. I hope we can back in this very nice city.

Jun 27, 2019Unser Aufenthalt war absolut toll. Das Apartment ist toll in der Altstadt gelegen, um die Ecke gibt es viele gute Restaurants (u.a. das "As 7 Maravilhas" oder das "Torreao"). Jorge war super nett, hat uns alles erklärt. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist der pure Wahnsinn, in Hotels würde man dafür viel Geld bezahlen, nicht jedoch hier in diesem Apartment. Wir werden wieder kommen! Obrigado Jorge!

Jun 27, 2019이 숙소의 가장 훌륭한 점은 바로 베란다에서 보이는 강의 전망입니다. 도우 강이 한눈에 내려다보여서 숙소 안에서도 아름다운 포르투를 즐길 수 있어요. 또 모든 시설이 깨끗하고 정돈되어 있어서 아무런 불편이 없었습니다. 손님들에 대한 애정이 큰 것 같다고 느낀게 게스트북을 남겨달라고도 하고 또 포트 와인도 준비해 주어서 베란다에 앉아 기분좋게 한잔 할 수 있었답니다. 경사가 조금 있어서 숙소까지 가는데 조금 쉽지 않을 수 있으니 꼭 편한 신을 신으세요. 그러나 그럴 만한 가치가 있습니다. 추천하는 숙소입니다. 그리고 남편이 실수로 모자를 놓고 왔는데 친절하게도 우편으로 보내주겠다고 했어요. :)

Jun 27, 2019Jorge's place is in a terrific location for exploring Porto, being a short walk either down to the river or up to the central sights and shopping area. The view from Jorge's balcony is truly the best in Porto - absolutely magical both during the day and at night. The facilities in the apartment are very comfortable and the area is very quiet. Local people we met in the street and in the shops were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Jorge was the perfect host, meeting us exactly as arranged and even organising a taxi to collect us early on our last morning to catch an early flight. Jorge gave us a truly wonderful and memorable time in Porto. We highly recommend his place.

Jun 27, 2019Jorge's apartment is ideally placed .., you can pretty much walk to all of the main tourist sites.. you don't have to walk too far to find good restaurants and bars and it was lovely to come back after a pretty full on day and just sit on the balcony and watch the world go by! The apartment had everything we needed and we were welcomed by a smiling, friendly Jorge and a carafe of good port. Would happily return.

Jun 27, 2019Wat betreft het uitzicht een absolute aanrader. Heerlijk zon op je terras tot dat hij onder gaat en met een prachtig zicht op de port bedrijven aan de overkant van de rivier. Bij aankomst ook een heerlijke karaf port gekregen.Het appartement is ok. Het is verouderd en een beetje opgelapt maar dat is niet zo goed gedaan. Voor een kort verblijf een aanrader, zeker als je niet wilt koken (klein elektrisch vuur met maar twee pitten).

Jul 27, 2019A dream come true!!!! Our stay at Jorge's apartment was absolutely AMAZING!!!! We practically spent all the time outside on the balcony with that lovely view over the Douro river... It was an absolute privilege that we had the opportunity to stay in this unique apartment, and we also immediately felt at home, very cosy. Jorge is a wonderful and kind person. We did not know if we would even make it to Porto in the evening due to flight delays, but he kept waiting patiently and in the end we were lucky to arrive at 1:30 in the morning. Jorge was so welcoming then and truly wonderful. Hope to come back very very soon.

Had to wait a little bit to get inside the home due to a traffic jam and a small error to leave the key inside so we could enter an hour later than expected but that wasn't a big problem because the host kept us up to date and we had a drink in a local pub nearby. Also good communication in advance. Great view from his terrace. Certainly recommended to stay.

It is ideally located and the view on the caves and Douro is extraordinary. Jorge and Wanda take care of our needs and their attentions were really appreciated. I strongly recommend them !

Jun 27, 2019We don't want to leave. What a beautiful place. We hope to come back and stay here again. A week was just not long enough. The hills are steep, but we got lots of exercise and the grand prize at the end of the day was coming back to watch the sunset from the terrace. That view is the best in all of Porto!
Jun 27, 2019Our stay in Oporto best view was amazing, brilliant apartment close to the many bars and restaurants porto has to offer. Walk up the hill for the best options! We particularly enjoyed the healthy eateries Zenith and Noshi for breakfast, followed by many sangrias and cocktails around town! Lunch by the beach was beautiful and just a short taxi ride away. Thank you Jorge and Wanda for being lovely hosts and providing a great apartment, we would love to come back!

We enjoyed wandering around the hilly, twisting streets, experiencing a port tasting, riding up the teleférico, eating delicious food, sipping espresso on the balcony and watching the sun set over the hill. Jun 27, 2019Quem está a procurar hospedagem em Porto já pode parar e reservar este local! Eu e minha amiga estivemos no apartamento de Jorge por 1 semana e não poderíamos ter escolhido melhor! As fotos não fazem jus à realidade! O local tem um excelente espaço e é tudo confortável, com ótimo espaço, muito bem decorado e funcional. Tudo estava primorosamente limpo e perfumado! A visão do Douro que se tem da sacada é espetacular a qualquer hora do dia e é fantástico beber um vinho apreciando tudo de lá! Mas o que realmente completa o paraíso é a recepção e suporte que Jorge e sua irmã, Wanda, oferecem! O local fica no segundo andar e não há elevador, mas Jorge, de pronto, ajudou a carregar as malas. Explicou tudo sobre o local e nos agraciou com um bom vinho do porto, mantimentos e capsulas de café. Também sempre estiveram presentes para todas as dúvidas e a simpatia era cativante! Jun 27, 2019Notre semaine à PORTO a été une totale réussite. Merci à Jorge pour la qualité de son accueil, son sérieux, son amabilité. La vue de son appartement donnant sur le Douro est panoramique et unique. Nous nous sommes sentis bien dans ce quartier central où tout est disponible à pied. Nous sommes partis à regret et conseillons vivement notre hôte pour d'autres voyageurs. Si nous retournons un jour à PORTO, nous choisirons Jorge sans hésitation !

Jun 27, 2019Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans l appartement de Jorge pour passer un bon séjour. Jorge a pense au café, porto, savon etc.....ces petits détails sont importants surtout quand on arrive en avion avec le strict minimum. Le service du transfert de l aéroport a porto est tout à fiable et économique. La vue sur le douro est magnifique.

Jun 27, 2019Die Unterkunft ist wirklich toll und die Aussicht ist fantastisch!! Es hat an nichts gefehlt und man ist sofort im Stadtzentrum zu Fuß. Eine wirklich tolle wohnung um Porto zu erkunden. Jorge ist auch sehr nett und die Kommunikation war einfach. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen!

Jun 27, 2019Jorge’s place is AMAZING. Hands down, one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at across Europe (we’ve been traveling for about 2 months now). The view is incredible and we had a hard time deciding whether to stay in to enjoy the view or go out. Great to have the best view in Porto right on our private balcony. Jorge was so thoughtful with all the nice touches and helped us with our bags, explained everything very well and gave us local tips. Also of note, this apartment is on the second floor and there are no elevators :) would love to stay here again!
Jun 27, 2019I have been using airbnb for many years when I have traveled. Generally I have had good experiences with sweet hosts. But Jorge is by far the best host I have ever had. Totally amazing. Jorge meets all the expectations I have for a good host - Period. OK the apartment is also fantastic and Porto is one of the best cities I've been to. Jorge gets 6 big stars from here.

Es ist die perfekte Wohnung für einen Aufenthalt in Porto. Die Lage ist absolut zentral und alles, was man braucht liegt in der Nähe. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Jun 27, 2019Die Wohnung ist sehr günstig gelegen. Man kann von dort aus das Flussufer und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Die Wohnung ist einfach eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Schönste ist der wunderbare Blick vom Balkon. Mann hat dort von vormittags bis abends bei schönem Wetter Sonne. Dort zu frühstücken ist einfach toll. Jorge war immer zu erreichen und hat für uns die Abholung vom Flughafen gut organisiert. Uns hat es rundherum gefallen. Kommen bestimmt wieder.
Jun 27, 2019Departamento con excelente vista al río y muy buena ubicación. Jorge nos recibió muy amable, nos dio todas las instrucciones y recomendaciones necesarias. Buena comunicación durante nuestra estadía. El departamento tiene buen tamaño y con equipamiento básico. Sin embargo, las fotos del interior no corresponden exactamente a su estado actual. Dada su linda vista y ubicación sugerimos algunas mejoras como renovar los muebles del balcón que son incómodos y están deteriorados; mejorar el piso y los azulejos del baño.
Jun 27, 2019The apartment is very charming and very well equipped. The view is really fascinating. We enjoyed it together with the beautiful seagull, which was making us company. The neighborhood is the best in Porto, close to the famous Clérigos Church. Local restaurants are amazing. Jorge and Wanda are great hosts, fully dedicated to their guests. If we come again to Porto, we would definitely like to stay here again.

Jun 27, 2019The apartment is great. Be prepared to carry your bags up a couple of flights of stairs but you will be well rewarded when you see the view from the deck. The kitchen was well supplied just be aware that there is no oven. There are some nice restaurants just around the corner and it's an easy walk down to the river front. Check in was easy Wanda was very helpful and informative.

Jun 27, 2019Great place to stay! Everything is walkable from here, it’s really the perfect location. Plenty of space for two people. Coffee and some port wine were provided, which was such a nice touch! The guest book is worth looking through. We picked our restaurants based on prior guest reviews, and we had some amazing meals!! I would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks Jorge!

The view is drop dead beautiful and the terrace was comfortable to sit on. Loved the sound of the seagulls too!!!! Incredibly clean !!!!!!! Accueil tres agréable les conseils de Wanda nous ont permis de nous repèrer rapidement dans Porto, merci beaucoup! plusieurs restaurants typiques et tres bons à moins de 5 mn. Un bémol sur le bruit des mouettes la nuit mais c'est un petit défaut pour avoir cette vue magique sur le Douro et Gaia. C'était parfait !

Everything we needed was provided and the view at sunrise and sunset was so stunning it made it hard to leave. Upon check-in make sure to ask how the toilet and hot water for showers works as that can be alittle tricky.

Also the overall appartment was great, too. It is also well placed in between the upper city and the river area. I highly recommend this place for a perfect stay in Porto.

Jun 27, 2019This apartment is absolutely fantastic. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are a good size. It’s the balcony that makes the whole place so special. There’s nothing better than sitting on the balcony with a nice coffee from the coffee machine watching the city wake up. The sunsets are fabulous too! The balcony get the sun all day so it’s great to catch some rays after a day of walking around Porto. The apartment is about five minutes walk from the centre of Porto and there are plenty of fantastic restaurants close by to try out Taberna d’Avo was our favourite. Jorge is fantastic host, he met us at the apartment when we arrived even though it was very late, showed us round and gave us some recommendations for the local area. He had left us some lovely port wine for us to try and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved our stay and were gutted when it came time to leave. We will definitely be coming back, thank you so much Jorge!

The check in was smooth and he also helped us arrange a taxi to the airport the day we left. Highly recommend this place.

Jun 27, 2019Wer zentral und angenehm in Porto unterkommen möchte, ist in Jorges Apartment genau richtig. Es fehlt an nichts, liegt mitten in der Altstadt, so dass man alles zu Fuss erreichen kann. Das absolute Highlight: der ganztägig besonnte Balkon mit phantastischem Blick. Jorge ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der sich sehr um unser Wohl gekümmert hat. Danke, Jorge!

Jorge is the best host, very patient (we arrived about midnight) and gives you the utmost practical guide to the city and its culture.
