It's a classic Brooklyn neighborhood with beautiful architecture and loads of diversity. G Train at Classon Avenue is the nearest subway stop a 10 minute walk away. The B48 and B61 bus stop are a one minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is equipped with professional kitchen tools, and a Berkey water filtration system. Iron and ironing board are available as well.

Very practical and well furnished with a lamp, a huge dressing, two nigthstands, a big mirror, a huge drawer... Most of all, I'm very glad to know Edgar because he was very helpful (with my arrival and the cab, with my glove, with my last day... Private stuffs :) ). And I will miss our conversations! Thanks a lot Edgar, really, hope to see you soon for what you know, I won't forget :)

Jun 27, 2019Edgar is a wonderful and very considerate host. In every location in the apartment he has thoughtfully saved a space for his guest. The guest has their own space in the fridge, shower and medicine cabinet to put food and personal items. He takes care of the little details that make you feel at home. The room is very big and spacious. In addition to a chest of 6 drawers there is a closet and a bookcase for storage. The room is actually bigger than it looks in pictures! Edgar was on point for food recommendations in Brooklyn and Williamsburg as well. He knows his city inside-out so he is a great resource and always willing to help.
Jun 27, 2019I had a fantastic stay at this place! Edgar will really go out of his way to accommodate you. Everyone in that apartment is incredibly nice! I'd say this place is perfect for people coming to Brooklyn for business and students coming to Brooklyn/NYC to do internships. It's also great for anybody visiting Brooklyn that wants to live like a local. Overall: friendly people, accommodating host, decent location, great value I'd definitely be willing to stay again!

Jun 27, 2019My stay at Edgar's place was great. He is very welcoming and answered all my questions. His place is in a local part of Brooklyn with the MTA 10mins walk away. The area is nice with local shops, Deli, Diner close by. The room was nice and clean with a view of the Manhattan skyline in the distance. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a while. Edgar is super friendly and we had excellent conversations he is a cool cat to get on with. He even offered his WiFi hotspots account to help me out when travelling around the city. If you want to live like a local stay here, its chill and the bedroom is comfortable. I'd stay here again.
Jun 27, 2019This place has been the best one I've ever stayed at in Brooklyn. It is centrally located between downtown, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Forte Green...Etc. Myrtle Avenue and the Pratt area have a lot to offer round the clock. The host Edgar is super cool, friendly, communicative, helpful and creative. A generous soul whom I had the great pleasure to meet. The room it self is very clean, bright and tidy and the bed is super comfy. I would strongly recommend this room to anyone coming to Brooklyn!

Jun 27, 2019Edgar was extremely helpful! He gave me various directions and even let me come back and look for an item I misplaced. The home is clean and his system is very well managed. Access to the kitchen was a very nice bonus. Bathroom is well kept. Neighborhood is safe. Apartment is located one block from the B62 bus line-which can easily transport you to subway lines to Manhattan.

He had put a desk and a chair into my room, because I was there for my study for 3 weeks. He also knows good restaurants and places to go to. The house was cleaned up and the bed was amazing. I would defenitely come back.

Jun 27, 2019Edgar was very welcoming when I got to his place. He gave me great directions for getting around. There's a train nearby (maybe ~15 minute walk), as well as several bus routes. It's easy to get places from Edgar's place, but the place itself is in a nice residential area. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. Although I didn't really use the kitchen that much, it's nice to know that it's there for use. If I came back to NYC, I'd definitely stay at Edgar's place again!

Jun 27, 2019Great place. comfy bed. Lock on your door. Clean. Lots of Jewish families and schools close by so it does seem family friendly and safe even late at night. I Did not see a lot of police in the area. Cab rides here are fairly priced. The bars close by all seem to have the same kinds of items with different themes for basically the same price....I would venture further to eat even for breakfast. Close to Brooklyn bridge and Williamsburg Bridge.

Jun 27, 2019I'd definitely recommend Edgar's place. I didn't actually get to meet Edgar until I was checking out as our schedules didn't match but he always responded quickly to my messages. And when I did finally meet him he seemed pretty cool! Checking in was easy and the room was as described - pretty big with lots of storage. One big plus was the air conditioning in the room which was definitely appreciated as NYC was pretty hot when I was there.

Jun 27, 2019I stayed at Edgars place a couple of weeks ago and it's really good -the bed always get's good reviews and they are all true its so comfortable-. Its a bright airy room and quiet. Met Edgar only the once he's very friendly and told me little of the history of the area. I was also able to check in to suit me. Myrtle St 2 streets away is full of shops, takeaways.restaurants an organic supermarket as well as a normal one. You must eat at Thai Myrtle, or Myrtle Thai whichever way it's written it's superb. Subway is 5 mins walk, one change to Manhattan line. You can also walk to Williamsburg Bridge. Yep great place to stay, Richard. Ps Ignore the (Hidden by Airbnb) map picture it really dosent do the area any favour's its a very nice residential area with several parks.

Jun 27, 2019I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it. The room is large, bright and clean. Edgar is a great host. Clinton Hill is really diverse area. Good coffee and great supermarkets--Myrtle Avenue is fa has everything you'll need. Classon street station is close. Manhattan is between 35-49 minutes away.

Jun 27, 2019Staying with Edgar was a fantastic experience. It was exactly as described and he left very detailed notes on how to enter the building and what to do in case he wasn't home when checking in. I checked in late Wednesday evening and left early Saturday night. I only interacted with him in person, Friday morning, but I had a wonderful conversation. I was worried it would be awkward because I'm not the best around new people, but he was welcoming and very friendly. He offered great advice on things around the area when I had questions. I highly recommend staying with Edgar to anyone. Plus the bed was super comfy.

Jun 27, 2019This is very cost-effective place that you'll be satisfied with unless you're expecting too much. The room and the shared space is quite bigger than I had thought (cozy doesn't always mean 'small'). Though I was supposed to share bedroom/kitchen with others but I felt like I took the whole place to myself. Edgar is super-friendly and made sure I got checked in with ease. The neighborhood was very safe - I could see children play around till late. At first walk it may feel a bit distant from the nearest subway station with your heavy suitcase dragging you back but it actually is not that far. Close to many restaurants/grocery stores. Highly recommended if you are planning a budget travel and you know what typical apartments in Brooklyn/Queens are like.

Great water pressure in the shower. Fantastic rooftop! Edgar was very communicative when it came to check in and check out- very flexible to my schedule, and offered great suggestions for things to do in the area. A wonderful stay altogether.

Jun 27, 2019Edgar is a great host, very kind, helpful and easy to talk with and even though he was quite busy, he would always get in touch and ask if everything was all right and give great food/coffee recommendations. The room was clean, spacious and had plenty of room to put away your clothes and stuff, which is always nicer than having to live out of your suitcase, plus the bed was really comfortable. The apartment is 10 min away from the G train and there are several bus stops to e.g, Williamsburg/Greenpoint even closer by, so getting around and exploring the city was really easy. All in all another great AirBnb experience and I can only recommend staying with Edgar and hope I'll have the chance to come back soon!

Jun 27, 2019Even though a family emergency called me back home much earlier than expected, I had a most pleasant stay at Edgars very comfortable and spacious place! The self check in/check out is super easy, and while I didn't meet Edgar in person, he was very responsive to any messages and checked in periodically to make sure everything was ok. The room itself has a great bed and plenty of space to leave your belongings. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with lots of nearby shops, cafes, and restaurants, and good connections to Subway and buses. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Jun 27, 2019Lovely, quiet area. I'm from Manhattan but my boyfriend was coming into town so I got a bnb for more space and privacy as I'm between moving. Edgar was super available to me although I didn't meet him until the end. He clears a space for you in the fridge and medicine cabinet, provides extra towels, etc. his roommate was also super sweet and friendly when I met him once. Other than that I saw or heard from no one and had complete privacy. I would highly recommend it if you want a more residential type area that's also very close to the middle of everything. It's a good balance of busy and quiet and they were great hosts.

Jun 27, 2019A one-of-a-kind find. My stay here has been one of the comfiest in my experience on here. Super clean, tasteful, minimal room with everything you’d need to have a great trip in New York. Edgar is quick to respond to any lingering questions and is extremely friendly. I ventured into Manhattan every day of my stay here by subway and was able to visit the most areas on foot. Definitely recommended!

Jun 27, 2019Edgar is a really great host. He's flexible, helpful and very accommodating. The place is very clean and the bedroom is very comfortable. Although I was only there a night, the area wasn't really much compared with say, Williamsburg, where I had stayed previously. It felt kinda rough.

Jun 27, 2019Edgar and his roomie were both great dudes. And I commend them for trying out the Malort I brought from Chicago. That takes guts. Edgar was really friendly, and even invited me and my friends to his bar. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and made me feel at home. It was the first time I ever booked an Airbnb room, and not the entire home, and I was a little weary of what the experience would be like, but I am happy to say it was excellent and I felt like I moved in and these were my two new roommates. They were great. I will likely always stay at Edgar's when I visit New York, if the room is available. Thanks for being so nice, Edgar!

I had a slight problem with noise on my second night, but that was no fault of his and he was great at acknowledging my concerns. Besides that, my stay was quiet and trouble-free (I never even met him in person!). Thanks Edgar!

You sleep well. 10mn from the train station. A bit far from Manhattan but a close enough to Williamsburg.

Jun 27, 2019The bedroom is great, really spacious with a partial view of Manhattan and a very comfy bed. The bathroom is tiny especially when being shared with 2 other people and wasn't particularly clean. There isn't anything to do in the area and the nearest subway is 15mins but then again that is reflected in the price which I would say was very good value. Edgar seemed nice I met him only briefly. There was one night when Edgar and his roommate were up up at 3am and his roommate was talking really loudly and swearing, which I found annoying as it woke me up.

Edgar é molto disponibile, risponde velocemente ai messaggi, mi ha fornito indicazioni dettagliate per trovare l'appartamento e fare il check in quando sono arrivato (tarda notte) oltre ad avermi dato consigli e chiarito dubbi sulla mia permanenza a New York. Wish I stayed a few more nights! Its the simple things when everything works as you think it should that really help ease you in on your stay. Recommend the stay!
Jun 27, 2019I occupied one of two guest rooms and I found the accomodation safe, quiet, and comfortable. I didn't use the kitchen but the shower had great water pressure. During my 3 day visit, NY was experiencing a heat wave, but the A/C in the room worked great. I had a great night sleep very night, totally undisturbed by any noise from outside. Great bed and ample space to move around the room. Highly recommended. If you will depend on the subway, ita a bit of a walk, maybe 15 minutes from the G train.

Jun 27, 2019Edgar s place was all I needed. Very easy to get in using a lockbox ! Nice and spacious room equipped with an airco which is, at this time of the year, quite appreciable in New York. The neighbourhood is safe and calm. And 5-10 min walk from the apartment there is a street (Myrtle st.) with bars and restaurants !

Jun 27, 2019The staying room is cozy and Edgar is kind. He have experience to go Japan. The staying area is safety but the distance from nearest station is 10mins and at night it’s less pedestrian traffic. So you may be use UBER or Lyft, Example:women. Generally, you should use bus, the bus stop exists from 3mins distance. Overall, Edagr's house is so nice! Please stay!
Jun 27, 2019A lovely large, bright, comfortable bedroom in Brooklyn. On the edge of Clinton Hill, the area is fairly quiet, but it's only a 12 minute walk to the Metro, or a half hour walk into Williamsburg. BKG Coffee Roasters is a great coffee spot just 5 mins walk away too. Edgar was super friendly whenever we did cross paths, and although we didn't spend a lot of time in the shared spaces of the flat it felt well kept and well equipped. All in all we found it an excellent value and comfortable spot for our few days in the city.
Jun 27, 2019Totalmente recomendable. La comunicación con el anfitrión es muy rápida y fluida. Está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila del que no hay problema de acceso para moverse a otras zonas de NYC, bien por metro y autobús. La habitación es bastante espaciosa y luminosa. Volvería a repetir.
Jun 27, 2019Edgar's place is a delightful haven in Brooklyn. Space is clean and stylish with all the amenities you need. Shops are close on Myrtle Av. and the walk to the G train is not too far. Check in was really easy and the stay was totally relaxing! Everything about this room is great and I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Jun 27, 2019Very nice place. Clean, spacious, plain in a very good way! Conveniently located for exploring Brooklyn/the Pratt Institute neighborhood. Public transportation in walking distance. Great communication before and during the stay with Edgar, the host.

Jun 27, 2019The room was massive compared to what you normally get from Airbnb and the bed was the best I've ever slept on! Edgar is very helpful and quick to respond, unfortunately I didn't get to meet him in person during my stay. The area around the flat was not very much to my liking but it was easy enough to get the subway and travel around. Good value for the price overall!

Jun 27, 2019Great value clean accommodation in Brooklyn walkable to both the trendy Williamsburg district and Brooklyn bridge. Also handy for buses and subway. Communication with Edgar (the host) was efficient and his easy going nature made it easy to feel comfortable at his apartment.
Jun 27, 2019It was better than I expected. Clean, large, quiet space. Two huge windows with a view of the bridge from a distance. Great bed, in a nicely sized room. And easy communication with Edgar. I highly recommend!

The living room and dining room were large and comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, the bedrooms great, the building well-maintained and quiet. All was spotlessly clean and the linens and towels generously supplied. Thank you also for letting us leave the luggage for couple hours after we checked out. Also the roommate is super friendly and happy person. Thank you and I hope to book the same accommodation in the future.

Jun 27, 2019Very clean and easy to get to other parts of Brooklyn/Manhattan from apartment. Fairly quiet and the bed/pillows were super comfy! My mom and I literally just crashed every night after being gone all day and it was perfect for that!

Jun 27, 2019Everything was 100% accurate, and the pictures don’t even make justice to the beautiful lighting that comes thru the windows in the bedroom. The apt is truly 10 min away (walking distance) from the G train which made the location perfect to easily get everywhere. The area is so quiet thats impossible not to relax after a long day. There are really good coffee shops and places to eat near by (around 1-2 blocks away) worth the try to check them out. The apt is super clean and it has everything that you may need during your stay. The bedroom is huge!! I had a lot of space which was great. Edgar was amazing. I have never had such a nice host. He made everything super easy along with his roommate and made me feel home the whole time that I stayed there. He also gave me so many recommendations! Thank you so much for making sure I was having a good stay.
