Neighborhood Overview
We live in a quiet but friendly neighbourhood. A short walk to the north Avalon shops including: cafe, convenience store, bottle shop and surf shop. Also within walking distance is Avalon shopping village which has a variety of restaurants/cafes, bank, cinema and grocery shops.
Notes
We do have air conditioning and would request all the air conditioners and electricity be turned off when not in residence. We would also appreciate not leaving doors and windows open when the air conditioners are being used. There is a maximum of 4 persons staying in the apartment at any time. We do not charge for extra beds as we do not allow any more than 4 people.
Transit
A short walk to the main bus line to palm beach, nearby towns or to the city. We also offer an airport pick up or drop off service at a small fee.
Access
Guests have their own private entrance and will be provided with keys on arrival.

My boyfriend and I were greeted by Angela and Geoff upon arrival and taken to the ground level of their private home - their place looks just like the pictures!! What a great way to spend a mini weekend getaway. Angela and Geoff are so warm and welcoming and make you feel right at home from the moment we met them. Great place to stay in Palm beach, highly recommend their beautiful home! Couldn't get any better than this

Angela had added so many personal touches such as flowers and fruit, fresh bread and other bits and pieces in the fridge .... The house was immaculate and had everything we could have wanted!! We cannot recommend Angela and Geoff's house enough and hope to be able to come back again one day ...
Jun 27, 2019Angela and Geoff were fantastic hosts. They were very welcoming, gave us plenty of information and even offered to help us source dinner. The apartment is just stunning. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The beds were really comfortable. The apartment was so well equipped with more than we could possibly need. We really appreciated the fresh bread, fruit and variety of tea available. Angela and Geoff even organised a cot and high chair for my son so I didn't have to bring the portacot or worry about chasing him around to feed him. I wish we needed to stay longer! Highly recommended.
Jun 27, 2019The house is amazing and even better than the photos! We rent a couple of holiday homes ourselves and were blown away with the quality and value of the property. Lovely soft furnishings throughout, plush linen, Bose sound system and large TV, and the added extras such as flowers and soaps make for a truly luxurious stay. Although there is another apartment upstairs, we never felt that this invaded our privacy, since the owners have now installed fully automatic roof system. We loved our stay there and wish we could have stayed longer. Could not recommend more...

Perfect for a quick weekend away- exactly what we needed. They were very accommodating and have put effort into lovely little touches for their guests which make it that little bit more special. Hosts Angela & Jeff were both very friendly, welcoming & helpful during our stay picking us up from the ferry & offering to drive us anywhere during our stay. Although they are living up stairs the downstairs apartment is extremely private, quiet & separate to up stairs. It feels as if there is no one else around. This neighbour hood is filled with many other beautiful beach houses and feels very safe and welcoming. We will definitely be back to stay at the North Avalon Beach apartments again. Thank you!
Jun 27, 2019What a great place to stay and explore Avalon. The apartment was very welcoming, even better than the photos, with every little consideration covered. The outdoor patio was perfect to sit and relax with a cheese plate and wine. Angela and Geoff made us feel very at home, and allowed us the privacy to enjoy the weekend away with our kids. Angela also made the extra effort for our kids to enjoy the break - plenty of toys and books and even offered a cot and highchair. We will be back!

Jun 27, 2019We had a lovely time staying at Angela's downstairs apartment. The separate entrance gave us the privacy we were looking for & we were able to enjoy the BBQ and modern appliances. The Foxtel access to movies & such was a nice touch as the living room was absolutely beautiful to relax in. Would recommend up to 4 people staying at this spot if they're looking for an Avalon trip.

Jun 27, 2019Fantastic apartment and only a 1 minute walk to Avalon beach. The apartment is beautifully furnished having 2 large double bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms and it has everything you need. The hosts were very thoughtful and left fresh milk, bread and loads of other essentials, even books for our kids. The apartment is very private and looks out on a lush garden, the house is on a quiet street and access to the beach is at the end of the road. Avalon village is also within walking distance and has lots of cafes, restaurants and cute shops. Absolutely recommend this property!!
Jun 27, 2019Angela and Geoff were very fast to respond to messages and check in was smooth. The space itself is very well appointed and spacious. We stayed here for our wedding accommodation and there were so many small details that made our stay really special. From the delicious bottle of french champagne, farmers market strawberries, bowl of fruit and yogurt, to the beautiful smelling fresh garden roses placed through out the property. If you like a good bath then you will love this one, the outlook is onto a little tropical garden area and it was raining when I had mine and the sound of the raindrops on the leaves outside the window was so relaxing. Overall our experience was perfect - this would have to be our favourite airbnb stay to date. Thanks for making it so special Angela and Geoff!

Angela and Geoff are absolutely wonderful hosts and really amazing to chat to. They obviously put tremendous work, pride and passion into presenting the apartment to their guests in such an impeccable way. Such an incredible base to immerse yourself in the salubrious beauty of Sydney's northern beaches. I cannot wait to come back here some time, a truly spectacular experience.
Jun 27, 2019This place is a GEM and truly perfection! Angela and Geoff were the perfect hosts - great communication and very welcoming on arrival! We loved/enjoyed every second of our 5 nights stay! Didn't want to leave this paradise. The apartment is very well equipped and everything is high standard. The terrace has a BBQ and is great for outdoor dining. The garden is very spacious and with a lot of privacy. We were travelling with a baby and were provided with a portable cot which was very much appreciated! We were surprised by the complimentary goods in the kitchen and we loved the beautiful flowers in every room. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need for cooking. The location is great and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The area is far away from traffic and ideal for a getaway. It was by far the best place we ever stayed at!!

Each element of how the property caters for you is well thought out beyond your expectations, notwithstanding how serene its surrounds are and proximity it is to town, beach and coastal views. Jun 27, 2019Not only are Angela and Geoff the nicest most easy going people, their place is one of the nicest homes I have ever been in. It was the perfect size and had everything we needed. Angela has decorated the place beautifully, it is clean and warm and homely. The hospitality and attention to detail is on another level, from fresh fruit and beautiful classical music on arrival, and a beautiful souvenir on checkout we just loved our stay even though it was short. It is in a great location, minutes to Palm Beach on one end and Newport the other, it is also right near the main street at Avalon making it the perfect location. We absolutely loved our stay in their beautiful home and would love to go back again soon xx

The place itself is beautiful, we stayed there to get ready for our wedding and the pictures are perfect. The location is central to all the beautiful beaches and close to the shops. We would definitely recommend staying here, in fact we're looking forward to the next opportunity for us to stay.

The flat is beautifully appointed and the quality of amenities is superb. There are all comforts one could possibly wish for and the garden is a delight. You can walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes and to Avalon village in less than 10. We will definitely be back.

Jun 27, 2019This was my 2nd stay at Angela's place. She and Geoff are excellent hosts who really go out of their way to make sure that you're comfortable and enjoy your stay/holiday! They remembered that my son (5) liked a particular type of milk and ensured that this was the brand stocked in the fridge when we arrived. There were also lots of fresh fruits and delicious fresh bread from a local patisserie. We brought pop up soccer goals and a ball for my son to play a bit in the back garden and they didn't mind at all. There are beach chairs, a beach umbrella and little extras left for you to use during your stay that makes the whole experience special and easy. They've really tried to think of everything that you might need during your stay. The house is a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short walk to town. As I was with a little one I drove more than I walked and Palm and Whale Beach are also a short drive away. I have recommended many of my friends to stay here and I will certainly be staying here again soon! Thanks again for making our summer holiday in Avalon the best!

Jun 27, 2019We have had the most amazing 5 nights at Angela and Geoffs home. The house is stunning and exactly as described and shown in the pictures. They have thought of absolutely everything you may need while staying away from home, even the beautiful toiletries in the bathrooms and the welcome pack. The location is fabulous - 2 minutes to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the shops/restaurants. We hired a car to explore the area which was beautiful and to experience some of the other restaurants. We would love to go back and stay again.
Jun 27, 2019What a beautiful home to stay. Attention to details from Angela and Geoff is what made our stay memorable... they have though of everything all you need is your personal belongings! Which makes it easy while traveling with kids! Even after a big storm hit the area the night before we were able to check in early! The area is peaceful, quiet and yet so close to all amenities... we most enjoyed the 5 mns walk to Avalon beach the kids (4/10) loved spending time surfing, making sand castles, relaxing and then going for a bite in Avalon city... one of our best day was walking up the light house and have lunch at the boat house. If you are looking for the perfect get away to visit the northern beaches don't look any longer you found it!!!

We stayed two nights and were very comfortable... loved the BBQ and outdoor space. Our 3 year old loved the garden. It's only a short drive to the shops and beaches (and a short walk to north Avalon beach). A quiet, peaceful location. We definitely recommend and would stay again.

The apartment itself is decorated to the highest level of quality and feels truly like a home away from home. Angela communicated well ensuring that we had everything we needed both prior to and during our stay. The location is also great, a short walk to Avalon Beach and a short drive from Palm Beach makes it easy to explore both. I would highly recommend staying here, it is great value for money - so great that we didn't want to leave!

Jun 27, 2019We had a fantastic stay and can highly recommend this apartment to anyone! This place is simply stunning, very tastefully decorated and everything is of the highest quality. You can tell Angela and Geoff put lot of effort in decorating this place to the highest standard. The outdoor area was beautiful and our little girl loved the big garden area. The location is perfect, close to Avalon center and a short drive from Whale beach and Clareville, two of our favourite beaches in the area. My husband surfs so he was very happy with the short walk to Avalon beach which is stunning as well. We will def be back!

They had gone out of their way to ensure that they had stocked the kitchen with not only all the necessities but many thoughtful touches from local stores etc. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It's a quiet and tranquil location. Angela and Geoff were always available to give advice and directions etc. but went to great lengths to give us privacy and to make us feel that the space was our own. Angela is a fabulous host. She greeted us on arrival and provided information on facilities, she was more than happy to assist during our stay and accommodate our requests. A guide was available on local restaurants etc. The apartment is a beautifully decorated, quiet and relaxing home away from home and only minutes from the beach. Jun 27, 2019Angela and Geoff were so hospitable and thoughtful. Generosity in every thing they do makes for a wonderful airbnb experience. My Daughter and I visited the Avalon Beach apartments for a week. On Arrival - When we arrived we found to our delight a superb selection of Freshly baked bakery Bread, Premium Fruit (including mango, rock melon, blue berries and raspberries), Yogurt and the milk of our choice. We asked for an early check in which at this time of year (January)they could not do but to compensate there was a bottle of French Champagne in the fridge and a bottle of Aussie Red on the counter. But this was to be the first of many surprises. I then discovered a lovely selection of premium cheeses in the crisper. As well as selection of unopened French jams and spreads just added to the already extensive pantry. The kitchen – every need or requirement had been carefully thought of. Every type of glassware and china in the cupboards was of the highest standards in design and style and again very generously provided. The kitchen appliances, fridge, washer/Dryer, stove was all of the highest specification and all as new. Entertaining was a so easy. The generous designer lounge spilled out onto the terrace. State of the art technology provided many hours immersed in the latest movies. The windows featured an electronic block out blind for privacy and to mange the sun. Internally a thoughtful arrangement of blinds managed the totally privacy of the areas. Again, premium appliance including a Bose sound System and Jet Master Fireplace. Designer furniture, Interiors books and magazines. Picture windows opening on to the stunning tropical garden. As well as delightful collection of original artwork from the region. The Terrace – again every need had been carefully thought of. Centering on a delightful table for 8 the designer flagstone floor flowed seamlessly via concertina doors opening into the lounge. A huge 4 burner BBQ, ceiling mounted outdoor heating. Generous collection of Comfortable premium garden furniture to enjoy the stunning garden. Stylish beach mats provided. In the main bed room good design was again present in everything they had chosen. The premium beds and linen and towels were all immaculate. Stylish bathroom, double sink and huge European bath, heated towel rails, hair straightener and hair dryer, Spare Razors, makeup removal pads, cue tips and designer toiletries. – again, everything carefully provided. Double hanging and 30 black velvet covered hangers – generosity again. A fresh arrangement of orchids on the Dresser. Generous selection of fresh designer Turkish towels and Beach bags. Generous designer bath and beach towels provided. The second bedroom featured a double bed and again generous hanging and storage. It features a generous library of classics and current design and food books that kept me entertained for hours. Another large stylish en-suite bathroom with every need again considered. Again all immaculate. Local area recommendations for everything we could need in restaurants and cafés was provided in Blue Binder...
Jun 27, 2019We had a fantastic time at Angela’s. Travelling with our 22-month old toddler, we appreciated the extra amenities - toys, travel cot, high chair and a stocked pantry. Angela even bought bread, milk and yogurt for us before we arrived. How thoughtful! The apartment itself was very clean, tastefully furnished and well cared for. Both the outdoor and indoor space was toddler-friendly. Our son could easily occupy himself minutes on end in the garden! We also enjoyed putting some beautiful, fresh produce on the barbie. Dinner sorted! (The apartment has a small open kitchen. The stove is too small for any serious cooking so bbq is the easier option.) In terms of location, the house is walking distance from the beach. The road is not flat though and there are a few steps of stairs to access the beach. One can walk to the town centre via the beach but we always drove as we would often come back with shopping. All in all, we’d highly recommend Angela’s apartment to any couple or small family travelling to Sydney in the summer.
Jun 27, 2019What an amazing place to stay and such wonderful hosts. It’s tempting to want to keep it a secret, but too good not to write a review. We had 4 of us come up from Sydney for a couple of nights for our friends’ wedding and we had such a lovely time staying at North Avalon Apartment. From top to bottom everything was very well thought of, well-equipped, tasteful and clean. I echo all the previous comments about how awesome Angela and Geoff are. Angela even drove the 4 of us to the wedding up at Palm Beach and offered to pick us up afterwards too. Such a champion. Super easy to communicate with, quick to respond and always helpful, not that we needed any help - absolutely everything was done! Thanks again.

Jun 27, 2019Probably the best air bnb we’ve ever stayed in. Such care and attention to everything you would ever need. Fresh fruit, dairy products and bread provided and asked what we’d like pre-arrival. In addition to fresh flowers, an amazingly stocked kitchen, and a great place which was so clean - our hosts provided a range of toys (and kitchen utensils) for our toddler which were very well received. She loved playing in the garden and we enjoyed our bbqs while she was asleep in the evening! Thanks for a wonderful weekend

Angela has considered every detail, from fresh bread, kids toys because we needed them, and Champagne. There’s a perfect green lawn for kids or sunbathing, and shaded outdoor dining. The kitchen is well appointed, the fridge full size, the aircon works well. Loved our stay!! We’ll be back!

The outside area is perfect for dinners and with the heater we could stay outside until late. Angela was lovely and got us absolutely everything we needed. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back :)

The kitchen was fully equipped, there were many fine touches throughout and it is clear the space has been designed for comfort. It was clean, luxurious and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend Angela and Geoff’s apartment!
Jun 27, 2019This is a special unit. The details of rich, beautiful fabrics, cozy blankets, lovely decor, not cluttered and simply stunning. The outdoor space was a great place to eat even though it rained quite a bit. The heating element outside kept us warm and there are lots of throws and blankets if you need more. The fridge had champagne, a gorgeous cheese plate, yogurt, fruit, milk (all our choices), crackers and more. This was in the top 2 airbnb's I've stayed in (and I am a veteran!). The walk into Avalon village was easily done via a pathway, just a few minutes away. The unit is quiet with blackout shades on every window. You will be very pleased with your choice.

Jun 27, 2019What a great find! We loved our stay here. Angela's place is exactly as it looks in the photos! Self check-in was a breeze and communication with Angela was excellent. The location was perfect and easy to find. Angela went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and the information pamphlet she sent was very thorough. The apartment is also close to Avalon beach and the supermarkets/shopping strip which was very convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a beach getaway :)

Jun 27, 2019This was the best Airbnb we’ve experienced. Such a beautiful and stylish space. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and it was the perfect size for 2 couples. The host went out of her way to ensure an easy stay. We really appreciated the milk, bread, yogurt, Nespresso pods and fruit placed in the kitchen for us. Awesome location with the beach at the bottom of the street and an easy stroll to the local shops and cafes. Hope to return one day soon.

Jun 27, 2019We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angela’s - a fantastic place to spend a few nights in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, either to explore or just relax. The property is located in a quiet, residential area but in walking distance of Avalon beach, and all local amenities. The space is beautifully decorated and maintained, with lots of space for 4 adults to share and enjoy. Angela was an extremely thoughtful host (extra thanks for the wonderful food and drink supplies that welcomed us on arrival) and easy to contact throughout. Would highly recommend staying here, wish we could have stayed longer!

I booked her place the day before my wedding - and it did not disappoint. Angela herself is very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again for a holiday experience.

Jun 27, 2019Angela & Geoff’s place is beyond exceptional. My husband and I and our 2 young children spent 2 very enjoyable and comfortable nights there. The apartment is private, really quiet and beautifully stylish. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Angela made sure there were toys and a travel cot for my 2 year old and responded so quickly to any questions I had. Fantastic stay, loved it!!!

Jun 27, 2019Angela's place was inviting, cosy and contemporary at the same time. my family and I quickly settled in during our stay and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The size and facilities for our family of 4 was perfect ( the washing machine, dryer and lovely garden was especially handy having two young kids) Our privacy was not at all compromised yet Angela made sure she was available for any questions or help we may have had. The amenities located around the beach house are excellent and all within walking distances. I will say pushing a stroller with a toddler in tow was particularly tiring when returning back from the beach as the beach house was located at top of a relatively steep hill. I would bare this in mind if you plan to not hire or take a car. Other than that, an excellent location, beach house and host!

Everything was exactly as described and Angela went out of her way to provide thoughtful touches including ammenities for the beach and gorgeous fresh fruit, bread and other snacks. The apartment is in a great spot and very easy to get in to Avalon town with many great restaurants and things to do. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
