My host kehinde was great and attentive. Room was clean and comfy.
Jun 27, 2019Kehinde is a friendly and helpful guy, he made his kitchen available for anything we wanted and checked in every morning with a text/phone call. The neighbourhood is friendly and welcoming but is rough around the edges. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable and has a television.
Jul 27, 2019Had a great stay at Kehinde's place. It was very private and cozy on a really quite street with lots of space in room. I would recommend staying here for sure. Kehinde was also a great host, he checked in a few times to make sure everything was going okay and was very good about arranging my arrival.
Jun 27, 2019Kehinde and the room were both fantastic! The apartment is pretty quiet off the main street, but its also really close to the main areas of town and the subway. The room was great! Comfortable bed, good size kitchen, and a really nice T.V. for when we needed to relax outside the city. Kehinde checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well for us, which was very nice of him. We felt like we had plenty of privacy, but also support from Kehinde if we needed it. We would definitely stay there again if I go back to Brooklyn!
Jun 27, 2019Kehinde was a great host. Everything went smoothly with arrival and departure despite us arriving later than expected. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Public transport into Manhattan was straight forward. I would recommend Kehinde.
Jun 27, 2019Yes, i felt welcomed and warm in Kehinde place and he sent me a text message everyday to make sure everything is alright. He is good guy. The room is big enough for 2-3 people and you have your own kitchen and washroom. It is about 10 mins walking distance to Subway station and 35-40 mins subway to Time Square. However, it is a bit noisy in the morning by the neighbourhood.

Jun 27, 2019We had a good time in Brooklyn, the room was quiet and we felt welcomed by Kehinde. Although we met only once, he kept in touch everyday by text message. The distance to the subway and to Manhattan was correct.
Jun 27, 2019We had a good time at Kehinde´s place. We felt welcome and he sent us a text message everyday to make sure we are fine. The room was okay, not that clean, the neighborhood noisy. Nevertheless, especially the tenant has ensured that we lack nothing (hairdryer, toaster, vacuum cleaner). All in all Kehinde is a courteous host.
Jun 27, 2019Kiki was very welcoming. We didn't get to meet him but he checked in with us periodically. The house matched the description and pictures. The room was huge and comfy! Parking wasn't a problem. We were happy with our stay!

Jun 27, 2019Kehinde haben wir nicht getroffen. Er hat sich jedoch täglich informiert, ob alles ok ist. Das Zimmer war groß und nett. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sauber. Leider ist das Badezimmer sehr heruntergekommen und schmutzig. Badezimmer muss man sich mit den anderen Hausbewohnern teilen. Nachbarschaft ist ebenfalls sehr laut. Wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat, ist diese Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen.
Jun 27, 2019Cozy accomodation for a reasonable price! Near the subway station - so you have a good & quite fast connection to NY City. We saw Kehinde only once but he's always just a phone call away ... very reliable and helpful! Thanks for the great time - wie would come again!!!

Jun 27, 2019Our stay at Kehinde's house was really good, the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really comfortable. The kitchen was also clean and had everything we needed for cooking. Kehinde is very reliable and contacted us nearly everyday and even came late at night for an emergency.
Jun 27, 2019I had an outstanding stay at Kiki's place. His place was very convenient for me. Everything was as described in the profile. The room is very spacious and cozy. The other room wasnt rented out so I had the place to myself for my entire stay. Even though he didnt stay there he made sure he checked in on me often to make sure everything was ok, which it was. He also allowed me to check in earlier since I arrived a couple of hours earlier than I expected. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to New York. Thanks Kiki
Jun 27, 2019My stay at Kehinde's property was alright. I was the only person there that weekend, so I basically had the whole apartment to myself. I stayed during a very cold weekend, but there was wonderful heat and hot water. The train station is also not far and the B15 to JFK airport is within 2-3 blocks. Kehinde is very responsive and courteous. He checked on me periodically and was always available when needed. If you need to be close to Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn, I'd recommend his place.

Jun 27, 2019Desde antes de llegar al departamento Kiki estuvo en permanente contacto con nosotros, y siempre a disposición ante cualquier cosa que necesitáramos, aún sin habernos conocido personalmente. Fue nuestra primera experiencia en Airbnb y realmente muy buena. La descripción del anuncio fue exactamente lo que encontramos, nos sentimos como en casa, muy cómodos. El barrio es muy lindo y tranquilo, a unas pocas cuadras de dos lineas de Subte.
Jun 27, 2019I wish I had of looked into the area of this listing more before staying there - not what I was expecting. House looked nice on outside but not as nice on the inside. Staircase railing partially broken, bathroom was dirty/ water pressure was awful, some other visually unappealing features of the house, which is okay if you don't really want to be in the house much. Room was a bit better than the rest of the house although still some issues such as broken blinds, water damage, and window panes were very thin such that you could hear a lot of noises (such as street fights) throughout the night. The walk to the subway station was 10 mins which wasn't too bad and you had to utilize the station as not much to do around the house.
Jun 27, 2019The listing description was accurate. The room was as expected. Watch out, the door closes when slammed shut, we had a bad surprise (that was quickly resolved by our host 'Kiki'). Our host couldn't be present upon our arrival but he arranged that we could access the keys instantly and didn't have to wait. He was always available by text during our stay and checked with us to see if everything was going all right. The kitchen, bathroom and room were clean. The neighbourhood wasn't the fancy hipster Brooklyn you'll maybe want to visit but is was good enough to stay. It was also close to public transportation. Thanks Kiki!
Jun 27, 2019The room was as portrayed in the pictures and really comfortable! The bathroom is right beside so that's convenient. We had some problems with the water pressure but Kiki helped us promptly, which we are really thankful for! Highly recommended for people who needs an affordable place to stay and not looking for a luxurious holiday.
Jun 27, 2019The room was exactly what we needed and paid for, close to subway & B15 (bus to/from JFK airport). The room was exactly as showed in the pictures, very tidy, clean and prepared for us. We got given towels, the bathroom was good and the kitchen had cooking facilities and utenciles needed. We did not get a chance to meet Kehinde, however he was extremely helpful with checking in/out, we were greeted by someone and felt very welcome. Kehinde checked up on us and was always just a text/call away. One note would be to research the neighbourhood, I travelled with a friend so it was great, but I would have deffinitely looked into more it if I was travelling alone. Apart from that, the room was great, the host was very helpful and the location is convenient. We enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn!
Jun 27, 2019We had a very good trip in NYC. Even though we did not meet the host he was very friendly before and during the trip, making sure we had all the information to get to the appartment, to find the keys and do the check out. He was always available by text/phone. The room is as shown on the pictures, clean, quiet and comfortable. There is AC, fan, towel, soap and maps/travel guides of NYC. The bathroom is right next to the room, it has hot water. The rest of the house is a bit deteriorated but this place is perfect to sleep and shower to recover from lots of walking in the City. The neighborhood is safe but a bit rough, we were a couple so I felt ok walking from and to the metro at night even though I might not have done it as a solo woman traveler. There are two subway stops at less than 10min from the appartment which is very convenient, the ride to Manhattan is about 40min. There are also buses directly to Williamsburg and Prospect Park, it takes about 20min to get there. We found a delicious bakery (Albany Bakery) close to the subway which became our breakfast spot. In general it is better to buy breakfast, water, fruits in the neighborhood as it is way cheaper than in Manhattan. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!
Jun 27, 2019A notre arrivée, nous avons contacté l'hôte pour récupérer le code du boitier à clés. Il a été joignable très facilement et disponible. La chambre se trouve à l'étage, conforme aux photos et à la description. En revanche, la salle de bain commune aux deux chambres n'était pas nettoyée lors de notre arrivée et ne l'a pas été durant notre séjour. La rue est plutôt calme mais le quartier n'est pas forcément très rassurant quand vous rentrez de nuit !

Jun 27, 2019Kehinde jest sumiennym i pomocnym gospodarzem. Mimo, że się nie widzieliśmy, był z nami w ciągłym kontakcie telefonicznym i meilowym. Sam pokój zgodny z opisem, mieści się na drugim piętrze kamienicy, w której na dole mieszka sam gospodarz. Jest przestronny, czysty ma ala garderobę, gdzie można zostawić ubrania, buty i walizki. Łazienka i kuchnia dzielona jest z drugim pokojem. Bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Z mieszkania szybko można dostać się na Manhattan linią metra nr 3 (przystanek Kingston Ave). Okolica to typowy Brooklyn, można poczuć super klimat tej dzielny NY.

Jun 27, 2019Kehinde, aka 'Kiki' is an excellent host, though we didn't meet him until it was unfortunately time to check out of his wonderful room in Brooklyn. The bed is very comfortable and the in-wall AC unit works really well. There's a great Dominican bodega on the corner with good food and all the snacks you could need to take on the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Jun 27, 2019Great place for the value! You definitely get a good rest after a long day out, the bed is comfortable and the street is quiet. The room was cosy and warm. Kehinde was reachable via phone and check in/out went smooth. We didn´t spend much time in the neighbourhood though, but taking the subway was ok, around 7-10 min walk. Thank you Kehinde for having us!

Location of the house was not that good(it tooks at least 10-15min to the cloesest station), but i want to stay his house if i have a chance. And the room was really cozy and warm. Most of all, the mattress is so nice! Friend and i loved it:) We spent really good time in kiki's! Thanks

Jun 27, 2019This place is located in a great spot a short trip from the Brooklyn Bridge. The room was quite comfortable with a soft bed and a good street view. There was a heater in the room if needed. TV was a good size and had good channels. Only downside was the poor water pressure in the bathroom. All else was good
Jun 27, 2019A nice, charming little house. The host was very helpful at every step. The water pressure in the bathroom wasn't the best but the bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The walk from the subway was a little longer than expected but definitely walkable.

If I had to be nitpicky, the bed was too bouncy for my taste and everytime I shifted, the headboard will bang against the wall. I woke up several times throughout the night. A good tip is to pull the bed away from the headboard. The water pressure was also low. If you don't mind these minor details, you will enjoy your stay. I intend to come back.

Jun 27, 2019El apartamento de Kehinde es sumamente acogedor al igual que la habitación en la que estuvimos, contaba con calefacción todo el tiempo algo que se agradece después de un largo y frío día en Manhattan, contaba con televisión con cable con muchos canales para elegir, un amplio closet para guardar la ropa y el colchón de la cama es muy suave. El departamento se encuentra ubicado cerca de 2 estaciones del metro (10 minutos caminando) ambas te llevan a las principales atracciones de Manhattan, dependiendo de la atracción, el tiempo de traslado va de 35 a 45 minutos (ya que el metro de NY en ocasiones tarda hasta 17 minutos en llegar). Cerca hay muchas tiendas para comprar comida, en lo personal encontramos un mini súper mercado (Fine fare supermarket, sobre Kinstong av.) en el cual había un gran surtido y buenos precios. También a unas cuantas calles habia una lavandería. El barrio es muy tranquilo y seguro, en ocasiones llegamos después de la 1 am y nos sentíamos muy seguras al regresar al departamento. La cocina contaba con todo lo necesario para cocinar, el baño siempre tenía agua caliente, algo muy necesario en época de invierno. Kehinde siempre estuvo al pendiente de nuestras necesidades, sin duda un excelente alojamiento para visitar New York, recomendado ampliamente.
