Neighborhood Overview

Carroll Gardens is a safe and hip neighborhood where you'll get that famous Brooklyn appeal that you can't get in Manhattan. An old Italian neighborhood, there are great pasta places and a small park 5 minutes away. Lots of trees and the famous Prospect Park is a 10 minute bike ride.

Notes

My apartment is also yoga friendly. You will have space to practice, a meditation chair to use and a calm space to come back to after busy days exploring NYC.

Transit

And you'll be directly across the street from the subway (F,G) and you can grab the perfect cup of coffee at Momofuko Milk Bar.

    Lindsay is an extraordinarily thoughtful host and simply a wonderful and inspiring person to be around. Despite booking late and Lindsay being out of the country for the first two days of my stay, Lindsay went beyond what I would normally expect from airbnb hosts to accommodate me and make sure I had everything I needed. She had great recommendations for local restaurants and classes and was both friendly and welcoming and respectful of space. The apartment is light, clean, only steps away from Carroll St station and the room is comfortable, quiet and a great place to return to and rest after a long day of apartment searching. I cannot recommend this apartment enough.

    The room was perfect, sunny backyard. The bed was very comfortable and the neighbourhood is amazing, full of restaurants, groceries and a good coffee at Momofuku Milk Bar. Subway is on the corner.

    Such a special apartment. It is quiet, spacious, and quite marvelously set up! So comfortable, the living area is extraordinary, the kitchen so well-organied and equipped! Plus, a great backyard. The bedroom is terrific, the bed so comforable. Hot warm shower. All this, and quite literally steps away from the subway station. And last but not least, it sits on a fantastic street, great restuarants, a nice sense of community. And, washer and dryer in basement, that was so great! Lindsay is a fantastic host!! She is so responsive, and makes sure you are well in her space! I highly recommend this apartment, a great get-away and so convenient to so much!
