Our host, Eric, was very attentive and helpful right from the start. He provided us with lots of detailed information on his apartment and the area. When we arrived we were greeted by Eric's parents who checked us in and took us for a walk around the neighbourhood, showing us where to find bus stops and supermarkets etc. The apartment itself is only around 400sq ft so it was a little cramped for myself and my husband, but it had everything we needed - was well equipped and there was room to put clothes away and to relax. I particularly liked sitting at the desk looking out at the views towards Kowloon. The Neighbourhood is very local, peaceful and quiet. It is a little trek to the nearest MTR (Lok Fu) - I would say around 15-20 minutes which isn't so bad but if you want the convenience of having the MTR around the corner this apartment probably isn't for you. If you want somewhere away from the bustling crowds then this is perfect. The clubhouse facilities are great, I used the gym many times, always very quiet. We did not get a chance to use the pool but it did look lovely and would be perfect on a hot sunny day. I would definitely recommend Eric's apartment, it was very clean, with a comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom in a welcoming and friendly building. Lots of great places to eat in Kowloon City and Lok Fu market is up the road which has a great choice of fresh fruit/veg/meat and fish. Eric was always on hand if we needed to text him and he always provided help straight away - a good host.
